I've been here a few times in the short time it has been open and I have been pleased each time. I only wish they would have more vegetarian options (none are listed on their menu). However, if you ask, they will accomodate. I have tried several veg dishes and each has been awesome. The only issue I've found is there is a language barrier at times, and you will have to wait a bit for food. But dont let this keep you from here! The food is made fresh to order, and the owners are kind!

Very disappointed. I had chicken quorma which was 75% oil, and the chicken was extremely questionable. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars (instead of 1) is because the naan was good.

We are excited to discover this newly opened Indian/ Pakistani restaurant in Bloomsburg that serves zabihah halal meat. I recommend trying their chicken karahi, goat or chicken biryani rice, chai and freshly baked chicken naan or garlic naan. The chicken tikka masala is not the typical chicken tikka masala you have in most desi restaurants. The chicken seekh kebabs are great. I have not tried their gyro meat or burger. They serve halwa puri and Nihari on weekends. I had the halwa puri twice for breakfast and liked it. Overall food is great but it takes them quite sometime to get the food ready especially for dinner. I usually order an hour before going to save time. I have ordered only to go freshly baked naans few times and there was no compulsion to order a dish with it. Great new discovery, worth a try!

Gets an extra star just coz its the only thing close to South Asian food for miles. Took my 3 tries to find a dish that really tickled my taste buds (Beef Nehari is OMG so good!) Prices and portions are decent. Would love to see more college crowd here

I had not heard about Tandoori BBQ's opening until reading about it on Yelp. A good Gyro is hard to find in Bloomsburg unless the Fair is in town, so I was excited to see them on the menu. Interior is very simple with several tables in the dining area. Tandoori BBQ is still setting up so it takes time to receive the food. If you are on a schedule it might be better to call and order ahead of time. I originally went in with the goal of getting a Lamb Gyro, but it would have taken 20 minutes to prepare. Ordered the Chicken Gyro instead and size of it was rather good. The flavor of the sauce was interesting as at first it was strong but blended into to the Gyro. I didn't get a strong flavor from the chicken. They serve Pepsi products in 20oz bottles and from the fountain. Overall, I got a good amount of food for what it cost. I'm going to call ahead next time and try the Lamb Gyro. Tandoori BBQ is still establishing itself but I found it acceptable and will be returning to try other menu items.

Delicious! This is my favorite place to get dinner on fridays- forget pizza and fast food! I'd eat it everyday for lunch if I could afford it! Food is great, service is polite, but it does take up to 40 minutes to cook so plan ahead! Totally worth the flavor and quality though, I freaking love this food. Be warned that it's very spicy, but not bland spicy. Naan is a must! Anyways, the chicken biryani is a must try. I usually don't like rice that much but the way they season this is delicious. Tandoori chicken tikka is delicious and bright red, but not as spicy as it looks! Promise. The naan is always good, plain and garlic are great with everything. But my favorite thing is the chicken karhai- so spicy but so good. It's like a vegetable stew in a plastic container with chunks of whole chicken. With naan it's like nothing else. Beware the chicken bones, though! Next time I go I'll definitely try something else off the menu. I've gone about... five times now? Never had any digestion issues. Portions are decent and I usually have enough left over for lunch the next day. Definitely worth a try!

So nice to have another non-chain food choice in the Bloom area. We finally had a chance to stop by this little Indian/Pakistani restaurant and tried the Mixed Gyro and Rice plate, the Goat Biryani and Garlic naan bread. We called in an order for take out as suggested in other Yelp reviews and it was ready in 20 minutes. There is a nice sit down area in the back of the restaurant with 4 or so tables. The gentlemen who run the restaurant are pleasant and very willing to explain the menu items and prepare items to suit your palate. We would order the Biryani with considerably less spice next time. The tzatziki sauce was rich and delicious. It was different than we have had before but really fantastic. Our only criticism was of the goat meat. The meat was chopped still on the bone with slivers of jagged bone to be eaten around making it difficult to navigate the otherwise tasty meat. I would probably not order this dish again. We are excited about trying other menu items and will remember next time to request minimal spice.

Love this place for Indian/Pakistani food (takeout or dine in). Restaurant is new and sometimes the service is not perfect, but the staff is cordial. Atmosphere is casual. We've had the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and tandoori barbecue. We have these a couple times a week sometimes!

Update: got takeout from here the other week. Still no vegetarian options!! They made me the same spinach and tofu dish, but this time it was extremely oily and there was no rice to sop it up. I won't go back until they offer more meat-free dishes.

Simple, unassuming location , and they are still settling in, but the flavors were authentic and satisfying. The goat biryani and the chicken tikka were generous and the saag paneer spot-on. Made us want to try more, but we ran out of room! My son grew up on Jamaican curry, but never tried Indian and he loved it, and took possession of all the leftovers!
