Great vibe. Quiet and refined. We were from out of town and didn't know the byob policy but the owner stopped by our table and gave us free wine! Lovely food. Thoroughly enjoyed the muscles!

I think this is what happens when you take a good idea (changing the menu with the seasons), great food, and combine it with a hands-on head chef and owner. Truly a wonderful dining experience. We have been there twice. Once with ourselves and another couple...it was the perfect place to get to know some new friends even better, without the noise that comes from kids and families eating just a few feet away. The mussels we started with were great, as was the fresh baked bread. I had the filet as my main course...cooked to perfection. I can honestly say all four of us really loved our meals. The Chef even came by a couple of times and during one of his visits he recommended the brussel sprouts as did our friend who had been there before. How many times do you go anywhere and have the brussel sprouts recommended? Zero...that's how many. Needless to say I felt compelled to try them. Sure glad I did...just great. Second time we took a much larger group of visiting family. (9) We received the same wonderful treat despite the much larger group. Only thing that was a little different was the owner/chef was on a rare trip out of town. I did miss the hands on treatment we got from him. But let's face it....I think I was spoiled. lol It is BYOB. Although some of you might find that a negative, I do not. My taste in beers leans toward craft and micro-brews and as a result I am able to bring the kind of beer I love and my Wife knows she will be drinking her favorite wine.

Certainly a breath of fresh air to a small college town in need of a counter-balance to the student bars and hangouts. Lovely to have dined here on a Saturday evening with family during a short trip home. The seasonal menu was well-executed and full of flavor. Atmosphere was great and intimate. It always reflects well when the proprietor actively manages and runs his own restaurant. It was a nice touch to have Gary greet us at the door and make sure everyone was comfortable at the table. Wait staff was also attentive and very nice. All in all, had a wonderful evening dining at Seasons on Main. We had the filet minigon, lobster ravioli, pork chop, and oyster stew, all delicious. We will certainly be back next time we're in town!

Seasons on Main is quite the little gem of a restaurant, tucked away in downtown Bloomsburg. My family has done there before and today we went again. Had a lovely experience as usual. The decor is changed around for every season, as is the menu- it looks very nice and cozy, with curtains hung up, decorative covers on the lights, and soft ambient lighting. A picture is enclosed with just what we got to see. There was also instrumental Christmas music playing at a soft volume, which was very nice to hear. For the actual meal, I got a Filet Mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. This was my first time trying a filet, and while it was a bit of a chewier meat than I was used to it was still very tender and had a pleasant taste. It was a bit on the drier side on account of being slightly overcooked, which was my only real complaint. The asparagus was excellent and the mashed potatoes were well-cooked and firm (despite being smothered with parsley). Desert was the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. The cake was delicious- rich and moist, with just the right amount of chocolate. Despite a few minor mistakes, for the most part my meals were quite delicious. I'll definitely be dining at SOM again!

Dined there with friends recently... The menu was a wonderful choice of delicious entrees and appetizers to tempt your palate but save room for the amazing desserts! This BYOB establishment changes their menu and decor with the seasons and the owner is present to greet you and be sure you are enjoying your dining experience.

Was excited to try a new fine dining restaurant in the local area. Called to make reservations and here it was a cell phone number, a little skeptical but, ok they're new its alright. Dinner was set for 1930 (7:30pm), we arrived 10 min early and the hostess said the table was not available yet. Thats fine we will wait but, there was nowhere to wait but outside in the cold so we returned to our vehicle until our reservation time came around. Walked back in and hostess says yet again the table was not available yet. "The patrons were having dessert at the moment". A little on edge she asked us if she could call us when the table was ready. My wife and I agreed so we ventured back out to the car. About 20 minutes had passed at the moment and it was close to 8pm. So decided to make my way back in and yet again the table was not not ready. So I said, "How is it 30 minutes past our time and it is still not available?" While saying this I, veered towards the dining room and found 3 tables with a seating of 4 empty! So I mentioned this find to the hostess, she tells me to wait a moment and she will get the owner. So the owner comes out and greets us and we explain our frustration about the situation and he proceeds to tell us that we have a party of 2 and those tables are for parties of 4. Well.....now I've had as much as I can take and said "Well now you've lost your party of 2 and future parties of more from me." He pleaded us to stay but I said "Can you blame me for leaving after waiting almost 45 minutes for a table when we had reservations?" His response was "Well the people just like here because its warm and cozy and they don't wanna leave." So I said that you should have built a cafe with a lounge and not a restaurant! Needless to say I will not be returning and chance going through that again and neither will my fellow food critics.
