This gets 5/5 because I have been coming here for so long, I honestly cannot complain. "My bar", I guess you could say. I do not care for most of the other bars in this college town, so if you are in Bloom looking for some decent bar food and a drink or two, this is the place to go. There are plenty of things that would deter most, but it's your average american corner bar. Cheap but strong drinks, a decent beer selection. Clean for a dive bar. Sometimes the seating gets a little tight, but it is lovely to sit outside in the summer! The staff treats you well and moves fast.

Good Old Days, also known as GOD, is a complex monster. It's a local's bar located in a college town, that's trying to not be a college town, that the only major industry left is...the college. I end up here as my friends sing Karaoke. GOD no longer charges a cover to match most other bars in Bloomsburg. The crowd also varies heavily depending on what time of the year it is and if the students are in town. The bar is two floors, floor one has Karaoke and Food. Floor two is the College Bar with some sort of Dance Floor. Not sure the second floor is handicap accessible. Outdoor seating is available weather permitting. GOD now closes for several hours a day and opens at 11AM, but remains open during natural disasters including the Flood of 2011. Setup of the first floor has changed as the middle bar has been removed and is now hightop seating. New tables and chairs have been installed and some booth seating is now available. Lighting levels have also been increased. First floor is mostly setup as a Karaoke bar, with a large TV upfront that will also play sports. The Karaoke host station and the pool table are in the back of the first floor. Bathrooms have been redone, but I hope you enjoy company and no privacy. Office space that previously occupied the space below the second floor stairs has been removed. Cheap Drinks are one of the things that keep this place open. Well and pitcher specials vary per day. Bar Food such as burgers, sandwiches, fries, and wings are available. Wing Night is rather popular. Jojo's Pizza is no longer at GOD. As of June 1st, 2014 smoking has been banned inside Good Old Days and I feel that it is nothing but a good move. Renovations are also now occurring due to the ban, they've really needed it as the inside was extremely dingy and dark. Hoping they will keep the no smoking ban even with the potential loss of customers. Many of the renovations completed so far have been positive. Update: Several changes have been made due to the renovations and I've updated my review.
