Ok First off this joint is spacious and giant and shutter ...QUIET... Quiet because it was empty ?! Is it empty because of it's location you can enter off of Broad St but you can't exit that way ? Is it empty because it's dark and divey like ? My wife and I shared a small Espresso Gelato with Espresso beans in it and it was wonderful ! WONDERFUL ! We will be going back for more Gelato ! The Gelato is made by their brother Restaurant Stefano's and it's on par with getting Ice Cream at the Bethlehem Dairy (aka the Cup) THE place in the Valley to get ice cream. So..Clean and empty..I sure hope they start hopping with business..They seem to get a steady traffic of take out..but perhaps if their design element was more vibrant and colorful more people would go ? I don't Know..Ice Cream/Pizza Parlour cries out for round stools, a Jukebox and a kid giving me ice cream wearing a paper hat ! Ok I tried the other half of the parlour. A ridiculously greasy stromboli and one of the cheapest grossest salads. The lettuce tasted old, the olives tasted tinny and canned and the tomatoes and onions were on the verge of spoilage..Even though the Gelato was AMAZING..I just can't see coming back.

Really, really, really almost just okay. Pretty awful set up, poor management and service and food i wouldn't even consider "restaurant food". The atmosphere is so new and "trendy" it feels like it's trying to trick you into thinking that it's good. The pizza was nothing special. No better than Broad St. Pizza or Marlo's and not even in the same category as Westgate, Penn or Lehigh. Honestly? I'm a purist, but i would order Papa Johns before I called in here. They it took forever for our food to arrive and they do it in front of you.... They don't even try to hide that it's frozen or stored or whateverthehell. My one biggest, most Passionate complaint is that they don't even give you WATER. i Ordered water for my table and they gave me individual cups and charged me for every. one...! If you're in the restaurant business .... well... if you've ever BEEN to a restaurant you know that's just bad business. Sure each cup cost like $0.15 but A. that's a choice you're making to use crappy paper cups [especially surrounded by Beautiful wood and wicked steampunk lights] and B. it's a price you can pay for not pissing your customers off. It's a price you could pay for avoiding this review! because... C. A good restaurant doesn't make your money off of petty charges on paper cups and tap water. It makes it off of fair prices for good food and consistent customers who want to see you and your business thrive.

Just because a place is empty or quiet doesn't mean it's not good. This is a place to get consistently good pizza and sandwiches, with delicious gelato for dessert. The staff is super nice. The reason why I think it is often quiet is that there is a ton of competition for pizza places, and people tend to go to chain restaurants and the old familiar standbys. It's very hard for a new non-chain place to build a following. Give it a try and support a local business.

This place needs more credit. Physically, the interior space is nice. Good atmosphere for lunch or dinner with family. And the workers have been nothing but friendly in my several trips there. The pizza is good, and that's their specialty in addition to their gelato (still need to try that). The sandwiches are just OK. Not a huge fan of the bread. But that's not why you go here. For a good pie in West Bethlehem, this place has it.

I've driven by this place a zillion times since they opened and until tonight never really felt compelled to try it out for four reasons: 1. Price wise they are very expensive. $6.00 for a kid's meals that does not include anything else in terms of a side or a drink is just a complete rip off. On top of that charging $11.00 for a large pizza without any kind of two for XXXX discount is also a rip off as more or less all of the area competitors offer something like that. 2. Speaking of competitors, aside of the usual chain places there are a ton of competitors all within a short distance away with Ray's, Rosanna's, Nick's, Penn Pizza, Broad Street, The Brick and Marlo's. With that many places all peddling the same thing you need to be either offering some decent discounts or you had better be bringing some amazing food because each of those places has a loyal following and gaining traction against them will be very difficult to near impossible. 3. Every time I drive by the place it's always deserted plus I'm confused that their web site says that they are closed on Sunday yet this past Sunday they were very clearly open. There is no delivery here and if they are deserted as much as I think they are, how good can the food be? 4. I'm not really a fan of what the Stefano family brings to the area with their food. The Mint is an overpriced wanna-be hipster gimmick place that charges huge prices for small portions where they try to show you how smart they are with their food without worrying about the taste while the Grille in Northampton is terrible all around. I have not been to the flag ship location on 191 in years but to be there as long as they have maybe that's where it's at because it's sure not at the other two locations. With all that in mind and with The Parlour finally showing up on Restaurant.com we thought we would give the place a shot figuring at least the sting of the price would be lessened if it were bad. We get there around seven and aside of one table the place is a ghost town. In the time we're there the phone does not ring and only one other party of three show up which was good as the person who was serving was also cooking since their cook was sent home sick so things took a very long time. We started with the Mozzarella Margherita and it was alright. The version that The Vineyard does over in Fountain Hill to me is the gold standard and this one wasn't nearly as good as the cheese was room temperature versus hot and the sauce was bland. The kids meals were pedestrian and nothing to write home about as were the baked penne and the chicken pasta alfredo. One person in our group ordered the special which was an Americanized take on fish & chips which consisted of curly fries and baby shrimp. He asked for the fries to not be seasoned yet of course they came seasoned. He opted to send it back but seeing as it was already approaching eight he chose to suck it up as it would have taken no doubt another very long time so come up with replacement fries. Dessert was a bit better as the ice cream and gelato quality is very good but the downside is that they only offer a few flavors of each and price wise it is very expensive. In comparison, you could go to a place like the Inside Scoop in Coopersburg and pay less for a larger kiddie size versus the small size at The Parlour while having an additional 30+ flavors to choose from. Overall we had an alright experience at the Parlour although the food took too long, the request for non-seasoned fries was ignored and the prices without the restaurant.com discount are steep for the area. It was good to try something different but we've got our place for pizza/pasta/sandwiches/ice cream in the area and nothing we had here made any in roads changing that.

We ordered delivery and got a large plain pizza. It was pretty good. But we also ordered a penne with marinara and meatballs. The pasta was gummy had horrible texture. There was hardly any sauce on the pasta. Then the meatballs were a nice size, but were basically ground beef balls with no flavor at all. They tasted as if they had been freezer burned or something. Pizza yes, pasta thumbs down.

The place was not busy when we went. We waiting a long time for the take out. The pizza was under cooked to the point it was dough. The fries were not cooked and were cold. We had to take the entire order and put it into the oven for 30 minutes. The point of eating out is not to cook. I would avoid this place and save yourself the aggravation. Several people have had the same experience.

I've had take out pizza from here a bunch of times when I'm in Bethlehem visiting family. I enjoy the thin pizzeria style pizza, back on Michigan our pizza is very different. The pizza has always been very tasty and cooked perfectly, never soggy or burnt. I also enjoy their gelato. We picked up some chocolate, strawberry and peanut butter and it was refreshing and delicious!

Eaten here a few times...its pizza. Never had many meals, only a few different types of their pizza. It was good, nothing to rave about. It's good enough to continue to order from here since it is the closet pizza shop to our apt. Wouldn't drive out of my way to go here.

Always fast delivery. Large Plain Pizza- the sauce was a bit plain but otherwise decent. 6pc Hot Wings were very small considering the price Curly cheese fries were perfect. Prices are a little higher then most but free delivery is always a plus. I order maybe once or twice a month and will continue. Still haven't tried gelato but would be cool if they delivered it.

What can you say. $6 for two slices of Sicilian and a soda. Pretty good slice but nothing to write home about. Would do it again. And maybe get some frozen treats

best service and amazing food!! first time going tonight and i will be back! I had the meatball sub and my boyfriend had chicken parm sandwich and it was incredible curly fries were the best I have ever had ! And the pickles just topped it off. (I'm a big pickle fan) they were legitimately incredible. We are right down the road and we will definitely be back. If you want a modern family style pizza place this is IT.

This place has quickly become my favorite pizza joint. We usually come by later, which is 8 or 9 for this place because they close pretty early for a pizza shop. We've tried a number of pies and usually get a margarita pie with one or two toppings. This type of pizza is very finicky when it comes to toppings and will get soggy quickly. Try one topping the first time. The pie is saucy and chewy with some crispness underneath. Traditional pies are very good, the brick oven gives them a unique texture. I would have preferred to have seen a coal oven on there but it is still good. As the evening moves on, more and more people come in for the gelato. People seem to like it.
