Upon our arrival we collided paths with the delight of the eatery, "Carol". Carol proved to be extremely knowledgeable in relation to the menu and the chef's capabilities. Carol was spot on with her service, attentiveness, beauty, and presence. Truly the headliner of the Café. Our meals arrived very timely and the portions were immense. I must recommend the Peanut butter Brownie and Strawberry Cheesecake however the brownie blew the cheesecake out the water. We deoarted the Café extremely intoxicated by the meal and sat through a Brian McKnight concert uncomfortably full! Only half-step or downfall would be the lounge area. Certainly a creepy sitting area. A cross between 70's porn set, grandma's knitting area, and Norman Bate's Hotel. We were totally expecting something social and special being everything else flowed really well not to mention the guy (employee/owner?) suggested we check it out; not once but twice! Com'cre best described the lounge; Comical and Creepy. Again everything else received a Green Light and Bravo Zulu. Lastly, Ensure you pay with a Bank Card; you have already activated! Spare yourself the embarrassment! !

A completely ruined experience. The food is pretty good, 70% of the time. The other 30%, however, was comprised of sending dishes back to the kitchen to be reheated/fixed in some way. And I am not particularly picky. The real problem, though, is the owner Christina. She's an incredibly nasty woman who has had a problem with me (a regular patron in the restaurant) from day one (for reasons I should not disclose, but that have to do with business I do with her husband). She has scowled at me, given me extremely dirty looks, and even so far as (very recently) plopped my plate down in front of me, essentially throwing the silverware down on the table, and extremely condescendingly asking me "is there anything else I can do for you?" I immediately called her by her name, Christina, and exemplified my concern at her very obvious and downright absurd disrespect to me, a long time paying customer that's done NOTHING but tell everyone I know about the restaurant, and come there frequently. She responds with "you don't want to mess with me right now. I'm in a feisty mood." She said this in the nastiest way possible. This is how you treat your good paying customers ? This woman will ruin your experience in this restaurant. It's very clear that she's incredibly unhappy, and opts to take it out on every living creature within her immediate radius. Frankly, I feel sorry for you Christina. And thank you. Thank you kindly for treating me like no more than a piece of dirt. As a fellow business owner in the same area you operate in, that wasn't such a smart move.

We accidentally fell into this little gem this evening for dinner and it was remarkable. Everything was fresh made to order and delicious. Menu offers an awesome variety and all four members of our party order something amazing. This place was perfectly fit for foodies and we loved it. We ordered apps, for dinners, two bottles of red and 6 desserts and the bill was just $200...great deal

My girlfriend and I saw this place when we were going for a walk one night and were quite intrigued. We talked to the owner who happened to be outside and discovered that it was opening the next day April 1. So we came back the next night around 9:45pm to grab some drinks. The bar inside seemed pretty cool so we were excited to sit down and enjoy... But we were refused service, it apparently was too late for them. They did however give a copy of the menu to look at. Way overpriced! I would have expected those kinds of prices for a beer/cocktail if they were on main street, but they are quite a ways up from that. And the fact that they are going to turn away service on their first night from customers who could have become regulars is absurd. I'm sorry, but if this is how you are going to run a business, then I want nothing to do with it. I will never go back to this place. Check it out of you want, but you have been warned.

We stopped in to give this place a try on a Saturday night and were initially impressed with the atmosphere. That was all that impressed us. There was not a host/hostess there to great us and provide a table so we spotted an opening at the bar and took it. The bar stools are cheap feeling and very short making us feel like kids at the adult table. I ordered a beer (an IPA) and was told they were out of it. We were given menus but the bartender never offered to tell us the specials or if the kitchen was out of anything. When we asked about the specials the bartender turned to get a piece of paper and could barely read what they were. We asked about dessert as the name of the restaurant led us to believe that may be their specialty. The bartender stated that he was not sure what they had and should go look for ourselves. So we walked over to the two separate display cases and found them near empty! When we went to order we were then told that the kitchen was out of what we wanted. We paid for our drinks and left. Owners, if you want to charge upscale prices then provide the upscale service. 6 bucks for a bottle of beer and you give me a glass with a bud light logo. No host/ hostess, a bartender who cannot explain your specials, and an overpriced menu will not get you repeat business.

My companions and I dined at Sweet Indulgences on their Valentine's Day prix fixe menu for $60 a head. We all agreed that it was the worst meal we had ever eaten. The onion soup gratinee had a croton that lacked texture and flavor and was topped with the most flavorless cheese imaginable. The onions unevenly cut and scarce in what might as well have been a store bought chicken stock. For opening courses we had the crab cakes burnt on each side and greasy and mushy throughout, The scallops with a mango salsa (passable) and the lobster mac and cheese that obscured any of the minor successes. If you were to scorch kraft mac and cheese and scrape all the burnt bits into a crock you might have something that resembles Sweet Indulgence's lobster mac and cheese. There was no discernible taste of lobster or cheese, and the pasta that wasn't burnt to the sides was without flavor. For main courses we had the venison osso bucco which was clearly not braised at all. It had obviously just been roasted without any braising liquid whatsoever. It came apologetically wrapped in an equally flavorless piece of bacon. The chocolate sauce was just that, chocolate sauce. There was no attempt to balance the sweetness with wine or the braising liquid (which we've already established didn't exist). My companions salmon was equally dry and the accompanying mashed potatoes were under seasoned and reeking of raw garlic. The only good entree was the strip steak which was cooked accurately. The dessert was a passable approximation of a Drake's RingDing with drier cake and a less flavorful filling. The accompanying chocolate covered strawberry was the highlight of the meal. Every dish was under-seasoned and overcooked with the exception of the steak (see above) and the "seared" scallops which I can only imagine was an accident as they lacked the characteristic color one might expect from a seared protein. The physical reality of the dishes was so far removed from the characteristics of their namesake that I wonder if they didn't arrive upon the menu through a twisted culinary game of mad lib. Most importantly when we told the waitress that the lobster mac and cheese was terrible, she informed us that they had already received that complaint, and that it was home made. That's right, they served us food that they were TOLD was unfit for service and used the fact that it was homemade as an excuse. Whether the food is fresh or frozen, standards are standards. In retrospect, I would rather have paid $20 to eaten a hot pocket . I half-expected Gordon Ramsay to storm in and close the restaurant a la "Kitchen Nightmare". By the time the main course was served the waitress had made herself so scarce that lodging a complaint would have been nearly impossible. From my experience that night, it is my opinion that the staff of the restaurant lack culinary foundations. The food was terrible, the menu concepts outdated and unapologetically overpriced. The bar looks nice. Under duress, I might come for a drink. Don't come for the food.

This place is all over the map. They want to be a bar/upscale restaurant/breakfast spot/bakery/late night spot. They don't do any of it well in my opinion. We went for dinner on Saturday night and, the food was fine, but extremely overpriced. They charged upscale prices for drinks but we had to wait for them - twice asking the waitress if our drinks were the ones waiting on the bar (2 feet away from our table) and they served them in beer glasses with bud light logos. The food was ok- I had a steak wrap and it was fine. Nothing to write home about. Honestly, the entire time we kept saying "we should have just gone to Mach's Gute, the food is better, cheaper, and at least we know what we are getting" they need to commit to a style and stick with it: also the decor is incredibly confusing.

The food was very good but service was lacking, our waitress never told us that there entrees were not on the menu and available. We ordered off regular menu which is more burgers, salads and sandwiches. The owner was very pleasant and was walking around to check on customers. Overall a good experience, just need to have staff better organized.

They need to figure out what they want to be. "Casual elegance" is there tag-line. This is the your first sign that they owners couldn't decide what type of restaurant they wanted to open. Perhaps they should have called it "Sweet Compromise" because this place feels like multiple people couldn't agree on things so all of their ideas were included in the plans. There is potential here, and some things are good, but many are way off. Good restaurants know what they are good at, master it and skip the rest. This place hasn't learned this yet. The food was decent, but the mixed menu of $25 entrees like burbon salmon, sushi grade tuna, and blue point oysters, together with nachos, wings, flatbreads, burgers & tapas is just confusing. A $25 steak should not be accompanied by water in a bud light glass. Small changes could go a long way here. The Christmas lights and beer signs covering the entire front of the building make it look like a dive bar, and then you enter and hear Frank Sinatra music and see candles lit and feel like perhaps it is something more high-end. You start eating your steak and then turn took at the multiple bakery displays throughout the restaurant and specials written in the wall in chalk (am I in an Italian market now?) Apparently they do it all, which is not a good thing. The salmon was very good ($22) but the duck fries were just terrible ($7.99). We received about 10 standard issue US food service fries that came from the freezer bag with a plastic cup of duck grease on the side. Not good at all. If they are going to have a tiny portion and try to bill them as fancy duck fat fried frites, the should at least slice their own potatoes. Definitely skip these! The flatbread was also highly disappointing. As they are still fairly new (8 months I believe) I will give them slack on service. When we visited, they only had 1 waitress and 1 bartender for the entire restaurant. Needless to say, service was slow and drinks never got refilled. The waitress hadn't tried any of the food, so couldn't really make suggestions. The owner made rounds and was very nice, but even he knew little about the food being served. How has no one on the staff tried the food they are serving?!?! I really do hope this place does well, but think it will take them stripping down the options, simplifying the decor and menu and learning what it is they want to be.

The desserts take center stage here! The desserts, service and atmosphere here were great. My meal consisting of two tapas was good but nothing noteworthy. My table split several desserts between the bunch and each one was amazing.

We went to Sweet Indulgence last weekend. We had a party of 4. The food was very good. The owner made it a point to come around to each table to get feedback. We will certainly visit this establishment again in the near future.

OK, the reviews for this place seem to be love it or hate it. We didn't love it or hate it. I wish you could leave half stars. Upon walking into the restaurant you are greeted with no host or hostess stand. Just a dark open foyer with a pastry refrigerator with their deserts, very odd. We had a reservation and told them that but they never asked us our name but it's not like they were jammed packed. The problem is we booked via open table and didn't get credit for our reservation. Hence now emailing open table. We were seated in the bar area so the bartender waited on us. Any questions we asked about the menu he had to go and ask someone. We were never told of any 'features' of the night as stated on their online menu. Anyway here is what we had six shucked Oysters, crab cake sliders, caprese flat bread and the prime time melt with two IPA's. Our bill was 60.00+ before tip. The food was good but not great. My sliders were on the cold side and included crab shells and we were told for the prime time melt it came with a mix of fries and potato fires and something else. Our mix of fries were down graded to regular fries as our server, the bartender told us that the menu has changed 4 times in 4 weeks. Sorry, but to me this is the bartender's issue as he didn't even know what oysters they were serving that day and had to get the owner Rick to tell us the oysters of the day....REALLY.... I've read some of the reviews and they mention the bud light glasses. We too had our beer in the bud light glasses. But our issue with this place is if your are going to charge top dollar, $2.50 each for the oysters, then stop dumming down your service, get people who know your menu and won't toss you under the bus and get better glassware and what is with the stupid patio furniture in the bar area. It all speaks of low class and that would be fine if you didn't have such high prices. We have a groupon for this place so I think we will use it before it expires. So that could be our last time at this place or we go back.....I wish the owners paid attention to what people have posted here on Yelp......

We stopped in at Sweet Indulgence to have dinner on a Wednesday afternoon. The restaurat has a new york cafe feel to it . Loved the fact that they have a unique decor. U can sit in the small dining area to eat with friends or have a romantic nite with your spouse under the dim lights and fireplace , head to the bar for a drink or relaxs in there lounge. Food was good and very flavorfull. Prices are reasonable. Besides us there was another table. Unfortunately the waitress was in la la land. She didnt come to check on us once. there was no urgency and zero attempts to check up on a table of 2,except when we sat there with Empty dishes to be cleared out. Besides that the owners were so kind and friendly. Overall good food, nice atmosphere and affordable prices. So if your in the area come check them out. Certain days of the week they have local musicians. We will definitely come back.

Charming, friendly, and delicious. What more could you want in a cozy and classy eatery like this. It's such an interesting place with a diverse menu and wonderful drink choices, including good beer. Their tapas portions are generous, and their flatbread pizzas were fantastic. There's a "coffee shop" upper level and a bar/dining room lower level. Apparently they often have live music here. The coffee was superb too. What cements it all together is the super friendliness of the staff and the proprietor. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is amazing, the food is delicious! Amazing service, specialty cocktails, inventive food and desserts, teas and coffee. The seating perfect for a night with friends or meet up at the bar. They also have an awesome breakfast! Highly recommended!!!

This place definitely has a chance but they need to tweak a few things that seems out of whack. At this point I'd say definitely worth a stop and I hope to rereview later @ 4 stars. The food is very good and to me the prices seem fine, they are low but you get small portions, that's what tapas is. The service is excellent and the outside is a nice addition. If they want to be a "wine bar" (there are wine bottles on their sign) or really a bar in general they need more experienced folks in that area and need to improve their wine list (descriptions and prices would be a good start). I hope they make it as it's a nice addition to the area but definitely not going to make it as a high-end drink bar, probably need to focus on tapas side of things. Need to get rid the blinking lights in the front, it's not 1975.

My boyfriend and I went here Friday night for dinner. The staff was very polite, however seemed a bit unorganized. Took longer than usual for our drinks and once our tapas arrived we had no silverware/plates to eat. Grant it we were able to start without, but it was disappointing to have to ask for the proper utensils to eat. The tapas dishes were delicious and my Christina's Strawberry Lemonade was amazing. I would try again.

My husband and I bought a groupon for this gorgeous little cafe and we went for breakfast on a wintery Saturday morning. We were greeted by Carol, who was so nice and informative - she also sounded like she LOVED working there (sounds like the dream!) We got coffee and, man, they don't skimp on their coffee. We got huge cups of delicious coffee. I ordered the Smoke House Omelette and it was awesome! Not your conventional breakfast, but I was feeling like trying something new. My husband ordered the Barnyard Scramble and he ate every last bite. They also have a nice lounge and bar and wonderful ambiance. We will most certainly be back - maybe for a couples night!

We had two experiences with this Cafe. The first was just stopping to get dessert to take away. We got a cheesecake with peach topping, which was good, and a peanut butter/chocolate cake that was AMAZING. So good that we decided to go for brunch the next day. Other reviewers are spot on when they describe the confusing decor/ambiance. This place is WEIRD. From the outside and when you walk in, it looks like a dive bar. Liquor store signs outside, chalk board wall around the restroom door, sad little dessert case, and an old fashioned stove with ugly chotchkes on it. As another reviewer said, it is slightly awkward that no one is on that level to greet you as you walk in. Someone noticed us from the main dining room, and called us up. The first thing I noticed was that they had the lights (Tiffany lamps?) dimmed, like fine dining. Except it was Brunch, so this was weird. Then I quickly noticed the decor. It looks like someone robbed a Homegoods and put everything they took on the walls, regardless of fit. One wall has about 6 "Bistro" signs. Another has 4 "cafe" signs (the generic ones they sell at Marshalls.) Then there are the decals, five or six on one piece of wall - "Live, Laugh, Love!" "Great times are had around the table!" Birds and flowers and designs, oh my! Large metal hanging sculpture next to them. Seriously, someone needs to take EVERYTHING off the walls here, throw away about 75% of the items and try again. It was distracting and showed very poor taste. Not to mention the fact that the smooth Jazz station was BLARING out of an overhead speaker that was buzzing. It was hard to talk over. Ok, so I had read most of this on here, but how was the food? Well, Ok. I had the West Coast Benedict, which was ham, tomato and avocado with the benedict. I got it with no ham, as I am a vegetarian. When it came, I was surprised to see cold tomatoes and avocados diced on top, rather than grilled and underneath the egg, which would have been much better. The egg was nicely cooked. The english muffin was still frozen in the middle, not really toasted at all. The Hollandaise was a little runny, but tasted pretty good. My husband enjoyed his "Cowboy Killer" egg plate. We got a cannolli at the end of the meal which was not great. The pastry was stale. Also, under the "everyone's human" category, our server seemed to be in a lot of pain. She was very nice and attentive, but every time she turned to go into the kitchen, I could see her wince in pain - it seemed like her feet or shoes were bothering her. I felt bad. Overall, I feel like this place has potential. The owner seems very nice and energetic, and I think that if they take the feedback provided in these reviews, they could have a nice little place here.

We stopped in the other night since we read about it in the paper. When you enter there is a bar to the right and the seating area is straight ahead. There isn't a lot of space in the seating area but there was only us and another table for four. Other than that there were likely four other tables available. The bar area looked fairly large. The waitress was well versed in the drinks and the food. She had suggestions for the drink specials that turned out very well. I would stick with the drink specials as they are reasonably priced and offer a wide array of different tastes (e.g., sweet, strong, etc.). The menu also had specials and with all the information coming at you it was a little much at first but the waitress was sweet and took her time with us. The menu is broken into two areas. The first I would call the appetizers which they list as tapas. Some were what I would expect for tapas (wrapped dates) while others were simple appetizers. The other part of the menu was sandwiches/salads/quiche -- that is, more of a meal style without being a huge meal. I had the quiche and the mushroom soup and the wife had the chicken pannini. The roasted peppers on her sandwich were great, she didn't want them. The soup was huge for a cup. The quiche was interesting. Very subtle eggs/cheese topping over a vegetable/bacon filling underneath. It was way too much for a snack-ish type of meal but likely would have been fine for a full fledged dinner. We didn't have coffee or dessert but the next table over was gushing about the desserts. Maybe I will go in there for coffee and dessert only the next time. It was a Friday and there was live music at the bar (next open wall over) and it was not over bearing and sounded very nice. I look at these visits as -- would I come back -- yes. The food was good, the service was good. The price was a little high I thought but maybe that's because I was trying different dishes. I thought the prices were reasonable if you stick to the specials. The service was very nice and the owner was helping out and making sure that the meals were done well and were as expected. It has a touch of a neighborhood bar, which I think is a positive. You can show up and listen to music and have inexpensive drinks along or go top shelf. I myself want to try to the desserts next time. The coffee cups were hu-u-u-ge so I want a coffee too. Not in the best of locations because it is away from downtown Bethlehem but I think you will enjoy this place. The "not sure" for groups is only because of the limited tables that I saw but I didn't walk around to see if there was another seating area. Also not sure if there is a lunch menu.

Worst restaurant is Bethlehem. I walked in and looked around the bar area, but not one employee made eye contact or even said hello. Once we were seated, we ordered a club soda and a martini. After 10 minutes the drinks came, but the martini was not filled to the brim. For $10 it should be filled to the brim. We ordered 2 tapas, but were told that they did not have them available, along with at least 5 other items. We ordered a grilled veggie flatbread, but after waiting another 30 minutes, we paid for our drinks and left.

Too pricey for what it is. The patio furniture in the bar is fine, but doesn't reflect the price you are paying for bottled beer. The outside of the building needs be cleaned up (paint, maybe some plants?). The front door should be put back into service as the side entrance is awkward at best. A few draft beers would go a long way, as would lowering the prices. Will try it again in a couple months, but I'm not holding out much hope.

When I drove by and saw this being built I figured it was a new neighborhood bar being built. The outside of the building looks a bit shabby-a new coat of paint would make it look a bit more presentable. There is a persons with disabilities ramp alongside the outside of the building and it will allow access to the bar area ONLY and not the main dining room. When entering you hear the sound of cheap window fans running on high speed. This is definitely no the sound one wants to hear at an upscale eatery. The inside is very well done in the main dining room. Beautiful flooring, fireplaces, timber frame ceilings, nice coffee/dessert bar...I have to admit the owners put a lot of money into fixing it up. The bar area looks unfinished and cluttered, unfortunately. There was a huge gap in the floor tile that was right in the walkway-it's as if the contractors said: "no one will see this Grand Canyon gap in the floor-just leave it." We were greeted by the bartender who could be a poster child for future piercing infections. I realize it's 2014 and face piercings are accepted and en vogue and the wearer has a captive audience to show them off (and show how unique and different he or she is), but I am old fashioned and don't want anyone handling my food to have multiple face piercings. So, can you please remove them during your shift? We ordered drinks and mine was poured and it sat on the bar for about 10 minutes getting warm. Maybe what I ordered was supposed to be served room temperature, but I doubt it. $$$$$$$ yes, bring a thick wallet...it's pricey. Take a look at the menu online-the children's menu has a hot dog for $7.50. It's described brilliantly and sounds delicious, but let's face it, it's a hot dog. I ordered the tomato and fresh mozzarella salad. It was presented beautifully and almost looks like it was one of those plastic, tasty looking replicas that you sometimes see-it tasted like it too. The tomato wasn't even hot house quality-hard and grainy. It was described as roasted-I guess the chef forgot that part because mine wasn't roasted. The fresh mozzarella was hard, granular and definitely not fresh. At these prices I would expect the owners would be boarding a live buffalo for the milk to make mozzarella di bufala. I am not serious, but at least have fresh creamy mozzarella-Price Rite grocery stores sell fresh mozzarella and it's a lot fresher than what I tasted. My dining partner ordered quiche and it was presented with the quiche tart still in the foil pie tin. I think it would have looked better served outside the pan. It also makes one wonder if this was frozen at one point. It was also served with a side of fresh fruit salad. It was tasty-I sampled only a small portion because, as you know, real men don't eat quiche. Our server was cordial and professional, but things were just not up to par, service wise: we had to wait for our silverware, the bartender had to go back to the bar AFTER our drinks were served to get drink napkins and the overall feeling was that we were test diners while the staff figures out how to get it right. We were the only diners in the establishment and there's no excuse for the poor service. Overall, Sweet Indulgence Café lacks a certain "put together" feeling. Considering the area-not very close to downtown-lack of off street parking, high prices, pretentious attitude (IMHO) and the feeling that the staff needs to get it together, leaves me with the opinion that it's a semi-tart dining experience.

We enjoyed the bar area, where we ate. We ordered many tapas, and they were hit and miss. We would come again to order the food we loved and try some new items. Mussels- they were OK, four in the bowl did not open Jalapeno sliders- Excellent Bacon Wrapped Scallops- Excellent, very large Pork Avocado Toasties- They were OK, bread not crisp enough Beef Empanadas- Pretty good Pulled Pork sliders-Excellent Tomato and Goat Cheese Toasties- OK, again bread not crisp enough Pork Sliders-- EXCELLENT!!! Mushrooms with blue cheese dipping sauce- Pretty good

Caveat- we only had dessert so I cannot speak to food or the regular menu. We had dinner elsewhere and were referred here for dessert, being told everything was home made. We checked out the dessert case and only about half the items were labled. It was a busy friday, this type of thing happens. My friend ordered the vanilla pudding, which may have been MADE at home but tasted like a boxed mix, kind of plastic-y. It has whipped cream and sprinkles on top. I had rainbow cake, with chocolate icing, apple filling and pear filling. I can honestly say I have never eat such an odd confection. The icing was boxed. The cake wasn't bad, just a bit dry, not fresh. The fillings were pudding-ish, not too strongly flavored, but no chunks of real fruit or anything. So, I'm never ordering dessert there again. However, the ambience, service and decor were lovely and if I was starving I would totally try their menu.

What is this place? I have had some really good food here including a terrific veggie flat bread. Service is always great. But, we don't often visit because the vibe is just off. I think it is because it is a bakery and restaurant that is open until 2am but also serves brunch on the weekends while advertising their cozy wine tasting room. The outside is oddly decorated with Christmas lights banners and outside seating (in an area not deserving of outdoor dining). Lots of attention was paid to the inside but the front door is pretty beat up and the porch is decked in old plywood. So, visit and you'll have a good meal but if the decor and ambiance freak you out, don't be surprised.

We've been here before and had good experiences. They must have a new "chef" because the food last night was NOT good. Penne ala Vodka was served cold...not lukewarm...but cold! It went back to the kitchen to be heated. My Nona's Chicken was inedible. Consisted of 2 paper-thin, dried out shoe leather pieces of chicken that the knife could not even get through. It sat on top of a huge pile of lukewarm pasta. I sent it back and ate 1/2 of a dinner roll for my dinner; I had to ask for butter. Another person ordered the same thing but his was not quite as dried out as mine. He sent it back to be heated so he could eat it. The waitress asked my two friends if they wanted their quiche cold or warm. WHO EATS COLD QUICHE? On both previous occasions when we went there the owner made it a point to spend time at our table chatting about the food and our experience. Last night, however, he stopped by the table once only to take a dish to be boxed. He failed to inquire about our meal and avoided us altogether. As we were leaving he just stood at the door. My friend and I both told him the food was not good. He did not ask why. Needless to say, we will not be frequenting this establishment again. So disappointing.

This place is wonderful! Their wine menu is diverse, sweets are homemade, food is delicious, and their staff is on point. I sat in their private room and was given such a warm and comforting experience, I highly recommend this for a nice date night, or a ladies night out. Their bartender is very helpful and insightful about everything they have, they even infuse their own custom vodkas. Be sure to check this place out!!

I was so warmly greeted upon entering that I instantly fell in love with the place. The dining room feels as if you're sitting in someone's home. My server Helen (she works Mondays so be sure to stop by then!) was so much fun and so excited about Sweet Indulgence and I completely understand why. All of the food is made from scratch so the menu often rotates and the cocktails are carefully handcrafted. The Rustic Veggie Flatbread - featuring grilled eggplant, zucchini, roasted red peppers, portabella mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella with pesto sauce - was delicious! The crust was very obviously made in-house and had the perfect flavor and crispness. I love trying new things off menus anytime I'm a repeat customer, but this was so tasty that it will be hard to not order it again the next time I go. I was stuffed from the excellent flat bread but ordered a dessert to go: house made brownie topped with house made peanut butter and chocolate sauce. YUM! The brownie was just out of this world and the peanut butter was so fresh! There's an entire case of house made desserts and I can't wait to try the others, although this one will be my go to. The owner Rick stopped by to chat and requested suggestions for improvement. My only suggestion was that the beer menu could be enhanced, but honestly, this place is so wonderful and I can't wait to come back with everyone I know.

This place is a gem of a find! My coworkers and I went there on a whim after work on a Thursday night. The wait staff was helpful with recommendations and very friendly. We tried 6 different tapas and 2 Flatbreads. All were delicious especially the wrapped dates and mussels (garlic cream sauce you could drink by the spoonful). The sangrias were refreshing. The owner stopped by and he was so friendly. And of course the desserts were phenomenal- try the warm brownie filled with peanut butter then topped offf with salted caramel ice cream. I'll be back!

I didn't understand this place the first time I saw it on the facebook/inter-web ...or went there, but my new friend Charlie knows the bartender Christopher. ....as I. Rick the owner was quick to welcome us...I think it we were all walking in together. ...Rick recommend the pemaquids...my favorite.... Anyway this place is different, and eclectic. I'm a fan of different and now I understand. For the oysters..and something different (very cozy) and to see Christopher I try to get there whenever I can.

Come hungry. Everything is so good! The ricotta bacon dates are divine. I would be remiss, however, if I didnt warn that the prices have gone up since our first visit. Back then, oysters were $10, this time they were $30 I think. The appetizer prices were at least $1 more. Our total bill was double what it had been our first time here. Still good, but now more a special occasion night rather than a frequent dinner out.

Always something wonderful cooking here. Fabulous menu with weekly specials that are off the chart in concept and execution. Everything is cooked to order from the freshest ingredients. Always a large selection of artfully crafted deserts that are a delight to see as well as to eat.
