I enjoyed our waitress, she was upbeat and fun. The food left a lot to be desired, it was overcooked, salty and it took forever. We were warned that there was a large party of 15 people whose order went in before ours, and normally I would understand, but the forewarning of a longer than average check time by our waitress and the fact that the restaurant was absolutely empty at 7:30 pm makes it hard to swallow. I need to clarify empty. It was 4 bar guest, my party of 2, and the party of 15. My total bill was $73 for 2 people, a little pricey I think for the quality. I will not dine here again.

I signed up for Yelp just to leave a review on this place. It's a cool place but the service was horrible!! When we first arrived we waited at the counter for a long time and finally an employee approached us and asked us if we needed help. We informed him that we did and he went to find the employee that was supposed to be there. He found her and as they were walking towards us she was explaining to him how to do something. She said she really needed to show him how to do it rather than explain and he asked us if we could just wait a few more minutes while she showed him. They then walked away. They heard my 2 year old asking several times if we could start bowling and could tell he was getting impatient but didn't seem to care. When she came back she apologized and said that was her manager and she needed to show him something. She did offer to not charge us for our shoe rentals. All of the employees seemed more concerned with standing and chatting with each other than helping any of the customers. It was by far the worst customer service I have ever seen at a business. It was a joke!! They really need to hire a real manager. It's a shame because the place is so neat but we will never go back. :(

idk what this used to be - but it is big and open and loud. it kinda has a feel of an amusement casino. greeters at the front door. ginormous tvs and projected sports on several screens. it was a bit of sensorial overload. I was looking for live music. I found some and don't even know why the have a stage there. might as well play Pandora or from an ipod. they were totally background music. no one watched them. there were at least three tv screens behind them - 10' high each - so even if I turned in their direction, id have been distracted by gerrit van badenhorst pulling a train with his teeth. I saw some bowling alleys. a lot of staff shuttling drinks and food. there was an arcade upstairs that I didn't explore. I don't really know what they were going for here - but it was like the ADD of get-togethers. someone in a room going " oh! and we could put a jello pit over there.... and full contact chess in that room ... and can we get more tvs in the bathrooms?" free wifi. bonus.

I wouldn't even give this a star! Worst food ever NO taste what so ever! They messed up on my cheese quesotilla took them over a half hour to make. REALLY wow. We turned it down complained paid and left. The waitress was fantastic ( Honey you need to work somewhere else)

Phenomenal place to kick back and relax. Went here with my girlfriend and played the arcade games and had tons of fun. The five stars is very deserving.

Cool place but service is hit or miss. Don't think there is a manager on staff. First time here on sat. afternoon bartender on first shift cold and inatentive. At shift change the bartender was upbeat and attentive. The women upstairs was very cheerful and helpful even though it was busy. Today we took the kids out for my sons birthday. Wasn't crowded on Wed afternoon but service was slow and inattentive. My wife had to interrupt a group of employees chatting to get food service. Cool place but could have some better customer service.

Very stupid and lousy bowling lanes. Wayyyy too pricey..30 for two games. They won't last. Trust me no date is worth this crap.

Food service should-be impeccable, since the place is always empty.

Met girlfriends after work on a Friday to hang out and check out the place. Atmosphere is nice, mixed crowd at the bar. It took a way long time to get a beer and it wasn't busy yet - before 6p. My friend got there and we decided to get a table by the bar. I put $5 at the glass that contained my tab while my friend waited for a table. It was well over 5 minutes, going onto 10 and the bartender still didn't take care of the tab. She was busy, but not swamped busy. Meanwhile, the hostess wiped off the table but never told my friend it was ready for us. I took the tab to the table and had our server pay it. Poor service by the bartender and hostess! Another friend join us, our server got us drinks and we ordered food. Our server did her job well. However, my meal was terrible. I got the turkey club with fries. Soggy fries, how dissapointing! Something as basic as fries and they can't get it right. My turkey sandwich was served between two 1" slices of multigrain type bread. Problem is that who wants to eat 2" of bread? It was also dry and stale with a layer of melted butter on top to hid the fact it's not fresh! iI took one layer off the first half of sandwich and both layers on the second half of sandwich. The turkey was a plain lunchmeat type of turkey (I was expecting something more) and the avocado slices were skimpy. C'mon for $10, put a nice layer of avocado on the sandwich! My friend got the french dip sandwich, she thought it was good enough, but she also commented on the soggy fries. Halfway through our meal, two bus loads of teenagers were dropped off - heard it was a dance or something for college kids. They went into the back section and started to blast the dance music. At 7pm? C'mon who want to shout to one another while you are eating dinner. If you are going to do that, and totally change the atmosphere, then wait until after the dinner crowd is finished....around 9 pm. We finished up our drinks, paid our bill and left because we couldn't carry on a conversation. I will not be back.

Went on Friday night and the place was hopping. They had a live band and the place seemed lively and fun. It was neat to people watch from the balcony. The arcade is okay if you just go wild and have a good time ($1.00 = 5 credits; games range from 3 to sometimes 12 credits,,,ouch) Pros: Modern Great for bowlers Hang out and people watch from the balcony Cons: Arcade doesn't have a DDR machine. Arcade machine prices are a bit high I don't have the urge to return. I don't drink, play pool, or bowl, and the arcade wasn't that amazing.

Don't waste your time or money!! Tried to get dinner, but "staff" called out so I had a 30 min wait , even though the restaurant was empty......45 mins. later still waiting, left and WILL NOT go back. Video games and bowling are lame and WAY over priced.

Been here a few times...place is progressively getting worse every time I go back. I never write reviews...actually this is my first ever...I am doing so with hope that mgt or someone that influences and makes decisions reads this. Revolutions has so much potential...cool idea, great concept...but it's only as good as the service that is provided..and as far as service goes, it's the worst in the Lehigh valley area. Not sure if its hiring, training or lack of follow up by mgt...could be a combo of all the above...my suggestion is realize there are significant issues, find a way to fix, or this place has 12-18 months until its gone. Food is disgusting, service is terrible and overall experience is pathetic. Find a mgt staff that is competent or this place is doomed...

I went to Revolutions on Friday with one of my girlfriends. We had a great time! We both sat at the bar, ate some pizza which had an awesome garlic butter crust. We also ordered the boom boom shrimp (recommended by the bartenders) we both loved them. The bartenders were great. Both of us were undecided on drinks and they just mixed us up some girly fabulous tasting beverages. They both laughed with us and made us feel really comfortable our first time there. The dj started and he was great, we ended having a few more friends meet us there cause we were having such an awesome time. I don't know why all these reviews talk about bad service, maybe they got rid of all the bad employees because both of the bartenders made us feel at home. And the food was great! I will definitely be telling my friends about Revolutions!

We didn't bowl, which looked to be the biggest draw of the place. We had drinks and appetizers in the bar. I had loaded fries with pulled pork, it was very good. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food. Cocktails were strong, tasty, and reasonably priced for the area ($8 Cosmo). We checked out the arcade but it was too expensive ($4 skee ball) to play. Although the arcade did have newer games that all looked to be in good condition. I would go back anytime, seems like a good place to go with a group and hang out awhile.

This place is a total dump. Bar was gross and sticky.. The bartender made us memo drop shots made with Bankers vodka and lemonade and charged us $8 a shot. Couldn't find anything on the menu worth eating. And you need to sell a kidney to pay for a bowling lane. Gimmicky and over priced. Better places in the area if you want to go bowling.

Food was just OK, nothing exciting but the fun my nephew and big kid (hubby) had while here was worth going! My nephew enjoyed the chicken fingers, I mean you really can't go wrong with that choice. My husband ordered the turkey club which was tasty and my choice with the grilled chicken was the poorest choice since it was dry and flavorless. The service was good an she was really friendly and funny. Come for the novelty of it but not so much the food. Fun time.

This place is a nightmare and I couldnt believe my eyes! We went on a friday night around 10 pm and had to wait for lane. We sat a HALF WAY EMPTY BAR and waited atleast 8 minutes to be acknowledged while the bartenders flirted back and fourth. Thier behavior made it seem there were in 7th grade. Very, very immature. Finally, we got service and the drinks took forever to make. 2 martinis shouldnt be hard to make !! Espepcially since we ordered them off THIER OWN menu. Drinks werre made, lane opened up and we started to bowl. It was fun. Great time. Waitress came to our lane and asked if we wanted refills. We said yes. 20 minutes goes by, and waitress comes back and apologizes that they are out of pineapple juice and if there was another drink we wanted. We asked for something different, 20 minues goes by and we see the waitress wandering around asking other tables if they needed anything. I spoke up and said -- hey, we are bowling for 1 hour, it is 40 minutes into our BOWLING GAME, we ordered from you 40 minutes ago, where are our drinks?? The waitiress looked at me like I had 3 heads. She came back over with the drinks when we have 7 minutes left to bowl. 7 minutes!!!!! We woulda been better off going to bar ourselves and getting our own drinks! Prices are high! Service was horrible and hanus. We left a PENNY TIP for the waitress! This place has the potentional to be a lot of fun. However, they do not care about hiring quality service. They know people will come regardless of the service. Service is not a priority. We will be back -- but we will be sneaky and bring our own drinks in the ladies purses. THEY WOULD NEVER KNOW ! Trust me! Check this place out -- it was fun, good music, but for being half full on a friday nite -- and the service to be that bad --- its unsettling !!! :)

I really want to like Revolutions because it COULD be amazing. The service is meh and their hours listing is a mess. The website says one thing, their phone recording says another, and on one occasion I showed up there to be greeted by a closed door with an even different hours listing printed on it! The service needs to get better as well as the food, which at this point is just really really bad bar food. I'll probably still continue to go because I love bowling with friends, but I'd really love to see this place improve!

I'm not sure what to say here. The kitchen operation is apparently a disaster. We heard grumbles from a number of people as we waited for 35 minutes to receive our appetizers. A busy night or not, the trio chip dip and smothered fries should not take that long. The burgers that we subsequently ordered took an inordinate amount of time to come out. Everything was super salty and mediocre. The service is awful and the two bumbling kitchen managers stood around aimlessly. The high top bar table next to us sat stacked with dirty dishes for the duration of our meal. A hostess walked by and pulled off the menus but didnt touch the stacked up plates. The bathrooms are filthy as well. This place has potential but tonight just failed miserably.

Wow. This place is super expensive for the most basic of things. They charge $15 an hour for pool. $14 for shuffleboard. And the food is ridiculous. All the food was poor and thrown together. If you like everything about Dave & Busters but want less fun, way worse food, hardly any people, and like being nickel and dimed, then this is the place for you. I am constantly disappointed. I'm done trying to give this place a shot. Ugh.

This place is a joke. We were not even here for more than 15 minutes and I felt that inclined to leave a review. My husband and I came with the intention to end our date night with a game of bowling. We stood at the front counter for at least 10 minutes before being addressed by someone as the others were too busy talking and hanging out behind the counter. We were then informed that it would cost $30 just to bowl one game (not including shoe rentals) bc on Fridays and Saturdays, you pay by the hour as opposed by the game. So again, 1 game of bowling for 2 people= $30 without shoe rentals. Are you kidding me? How is this place still in business? Then we thought," okay that sucks but maybe we'll just play a game of pool." Nope! That too was way overpriced. $15 an hour for pool? No, thank you. We did not try the food or beverages and we certainly don't plan to as we will not be returning considering our 15 minutes here was enough time wasted.

2nd chance review. Came out for a bowling night. Checked in. Given a pager like device to wait for an open lane. Waited at grille bar and had a drink (Pleased with service at grille bar) got paged and began our bowling night out (double date). Had a great time. Server Anthony took care of us. Kudos to him and the great service he provided. He stayed on top of things. Kept checking and refilling out drinks. Although we did not dine here I am giving this a thumbs up for the bowling aspect on the 2nd visit. Good times....

Beware, you might get a lane, but no shoes. I wear a size 13 and apparently they do not stock too many of those. I came out for a friend's 40 birthday party. I was the only one who could not bowl because they did not have any shoes that would fit me. The lanes will be full one the weekends and the hostess will lie about the wait times. 60 minutes will become 90 minutes and 90 minutes will become, well you get the picture. The high schooler when are he hostesses for the lanes will give you and estimate and conveniently forget that they have three parties coming in in the next hour and that you will never get a lane. The bar was good. Fast service. Just don't expect to bowl on the weekends.

  • Natalya S.

Expensive, food is not that great, entertainment is so-so and people insist on bringing their kids, at all hours of the night!! I was under the impression that it was supposed to be like Dave and Busters, an arcade for grown ups, but kids are allowed and they will be there LATE. I hate that! And a lot of the games are broken. And it's very hot upstairs.

  • Bill J.

Atmosphere is good. Food is above average. Service is possibly the worst I have had. We were told a 20 minute wait which turned in to 1 hour. We were seated after complaining to management. The staff here is way too young and doesn't handle the hustle bustle very well. Food took forever and was brought out about 7 minutes apart. People had their meals and finished them before the other meals were even brought out. Unacceptable. If we come back, it would to play games only. Which is a shame because the good was good and so was the ambiance.

  • Kat J.

The food was not good, the lanes are too close together, the service is lacking, and everything is overpriced. If I want a bowling/drink/dine experience again I will drive to Philly but not be back to Revolutions.

The atmosphere is cool and the bowling is a lot of fun. Ordered food while bowling. A chicken cheese steak, a burger, And a margharita pizza. Placing a piece of basil on each slice doesn't exactly qualify it as a margharita. The chicken cheese steak lacked the main ingredient. Please see my photo. The burger and fries were cold. The one star is for the bowling. Which balances out the -3 stars for the food. I can't believe I am gonna say this but I wish starters pub was open. Ekkkkk

Fun atmosphere and decent chain restaurant food. Order was completely messed up, served at room temp and over an hour after it was ordered. Came out in drips and drab all wrong and out of order. Fun group but won't be back!

2nd time I've been disappointed here. The service is poor. You will need to track down a waiter or manager to be served. The food is ok- just not worth the long wait.

  • Randall E.

Bartenders are rude. We asked for a refill, and got major attitude in return. They screwed up two orders .. one of which was a hamburger that was so undercooked, it was nearly raw inside. I will add that management did comp three meals and supply us with free gaming credits. I hope that they work out the kinks soon, because this place has a lot of potential. Bowling was an awesome experience. Leather couches and big projection TVs at the ends of the lanes. Very modern and comfortable. I may visit again in a couple of months. Hopefully they will turn things around. But as for a first impression, two thumbs down.

Visited on the first night of them officially being open. Let me tell you, this place is a winner. To think that I used to come here all the time when it was a movie theater. It looks much different now! As soon as you walk in the first thing you notice is how wonderfully put together the place is. A great combination of hip and modern decor. On the first floor there is a restaurant, two bars (one directly in the front and one in the back), 10+ bowling lanes spread out across either side of the building, a middle section between the lanes which has a few billiard tables shuffleboard tables, and the other bar that I mentioned. The second floor has an ample sized arcade/game area with very modern arcade games. (I was unaware that the hit iPhone and iPad games like Doodle Jump and Fruit Ninja were made into arcade games) We started off eating at the Red Brick Grille. The dining area is quite nice with an open kitchen design. The food was very tasty, of a much higher quality than I had originally expected. Our server was very kind and talkative and made sure to inform us that everything was made fresh in-house. The main thing I'd want to stress here is don't think that you can't get a good meal here. For an appetizer I had a delicious order of fresh mozzarella coated in a panko-crust. For my entree, I had one of their hand-stretched pizzas. The other members of my party ordered french onion soup, a wedge salad, mahi-mahi, and a Prime Rib Sandwich with Au Jus. Everyone thought the food was great, and left saying that we could definitely see ourselves coming back just to eat at the restaurant. After dinner we did some exploring and ventured to the upstairs arcade. All the games work on a card system so you don't have to worry about coins. There was an assortment of games ranging from your typical shooter/racing games to an interesting 4-player air hockey table. On certain games you can win tickets which you can cash in for some items. You can actually win a Keurig coffee maker! We ultimately decided to go bowling too, and we're glad we did. It was a blast. The atmosphere is much more high end than your typical bowling alley. They have nice couches you sit in while you wait your turn. A server is designated to you to bring any drinks/snacks that you may want. I'm glad we went. For the first night open the place ran exceptionally well. I definitely see this being the next hot-spot in the Lehigh Valley. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good time. Perfect place to take a date, perfect place to go with friends, and the perfect place for families.

Went to revolutions on Sunday with grandkids and there were six of us altogether the atmosphere was great in the bowling alley as well as in the arcade area but as far as food and the service is another story we waited a considerable amount of time to place our order as well as wait for our food when the order did come it was cold french fries , fish and chips raw one of the chicken sandwiches was spoiled altogether a very bad experience with food would not go back again

Horrible service. Ordered food. Girl friends food come out and 20 minutes later mine comes out after I asked the waitress about it. We were seated in the back corner and forgot about. Had to go to bar ourselves to get drinks because the server was no where to be found. Will not be back and tell everyone not to waste there money there

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews here. The cons are definitely that the prices for food and games are very high and the quality of food/food service are not that great. However...my boyfriend, 9 year old son and I went on a Saturday night relatively late and were there for about 4+ hours. It's very rare for anything to hold my son's attention AND be fun for the adults at the same time. You can get your adult drinks and carry them around to any area you please and just leave an open tab with the bartender, which is convenient when you want to go upstairs to the arcade and play games, wait for a bowling alley, etc. There are also small "shuffleboard" tables located near the pool tables (not in the bar area) that also had standard tall bar tables so we could have our drinks, our games, and fun in our own little area. The cost was so reasonable for this feature @ $7.00 for a half hour of shuffleboard. Since no one else was waiting to play (busy Saturday night), no one made us pay more or vacate the area and we played as long as we pleased. For all of the cost and food gripes here, I disagree on the low ratings. If you're an adult with a kid/kids and you ALSO like to have fun and play games without being at a Chuck E Cheese...this is a great place. We'd definitely go again.

  • Steve F.

Atmosphere is fun and loud with tons of things to do with the kids like bowl or arcade. It's certainly a unique upscale venue for the Lehigh Valley but the food is not very good. Tastes like it all arrives frozen and defrosted and heated to order, which is what you might expect for bar food, but the opportunity is there to be so much more. But try the pulled pork slider.

We were looking to have a good time in the area...bowl,drink,eat,drink,drink,drink and found out pig pen was closed. So we wandered over here. Hands down, probably some of the worse wings I had in a long time. You'd think, you are going to a sports bar you could atleast get the wings right? The burger was nothing really to write home about either. Over cooked too, which means they probably let it sit in the window or they can't get their temperatures right. Ok......NYC Pizza? Let's try it! ERRRRRRRRRRRRRR......another miss. Even the worse pizza in NYC is good, and this would never pass for nyc pizza. I always felt if servers/bartenders had time to talk to eachother and giggle, and I have an empty drink, they are not doing their job. That's revenue sitting right there, and trying to get alcohol refills here is near impossible. I think the staff just wants to flirt with eachother... :)

Ugh.

I've only been here once, but this place has everything. Bowling, Arcade, Food, Concerts, you name it.

This place is great when you're the only person in the establishment. More than two seated tables puts them in the weeds.

Terrible band on a Saturday night, came here to watch playoffs and they wouldn't even play the sound, greasy bowling alleys, and really weird crowd. Probably wouldn't come here again.
