It's a chain restaurant and therefore suffers and benefits from what makes up a chain restaurant. What that means is if you like their menu you can likely count on consistency throughout the chain. The blooming onion you enjoyed in St Louis you are still going to enjoy in Easton. That's a plus. The minus of chain eateries are they tend, because they have to in order to be profitable, to cater to common denominators. No surprises here. So what separates one chain restaurant from another... Service. This particular Outback is well staffed and trained. The food is prepped and served well. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. It's a solid four. If you like the Outback chain menu, and I do, you won't be disappointed here.

We saw someone clear a table right behind us and he coughed on the table without covering his mouth. Train everyone to understand that in a restaurant, many eyes are on you, and this will ruin an appetite.

Service was terrible, our waiter was like the absent minded professor & he wouldn't let us forget that! Real jerk. We waited 15 mins for a drink refill & then he asked if we wanted more bread but forget to bring it, next time he walked by he asked again & proceeded to put a dirty dish & glass on our table so he could write down in his notepad to bring us bread! Our food came & again we had to wait 15 minutes for the waiter finish socializing & bring steak sauce back to the table. We got the "special" sirloin & lobster tail which tasted good. It's a shame that our night out could be ruined by someone who clearly should not be a waiter. Will not be back...

We came here with a party of 19 people. They did accommodate us. The owner Lisa " the law" as the staff calls her is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. They treated our party so badly we almost left. So judgmental towards us because we are in our mid 20's and 30's. She assumed all of us were a bunch of drunks. I do not recommend ever coming here. We watched several other parties walk out of the place while waiting for a table. She is definitely awful.

Wings were pretty good for our appetizer- mom and brother liked them. I was bummed about my meal. My ribs were quite fatty, my dad agreed as he had the same meal. It was forgivable though. What wasn't is that my bbq shrimp weren't cooked. I heard a guy at another table who got coconut shrimp said that same thing about 5 min later. My brother had a good sandwich and my husband liked his steak. Toss up. Maybe an off day. But... Shrimp is kind of hard to under cook... It turns bright pink...

The Outback is a chain. We decided to go there because they had advertised ribs on special and I am always a sucker for ribs. First we are seated. Greeter brings us one menu each. Usually at Outback, you get the regular menu and the "special" menu. When the waiter comes over to take drink orders, I ask if there is a "special" menu. He looks and goes didn't you get one. He goes and gets us the "special" menu and then tells us that they are out of ribs. Uggh. OK. It's not the end of the world. I order the sirloin and my father ordered the lobster tails. I also ordered chicken bites as an appetizer. So another guy, not the waiter, brings us the appetizer. I ask if we can get bread, which is usually a standard at Outback and comes very quickly. He looks at our table and I can see that he realizes that the waiter never brought over bread. So now we get bread. The food was all good. No complaints there. The service on the other hand was poor at best. I got my steak and was told my fries would be out shortly. About 5 minutes later when a woman (I assumed the manager, but I could be wrong) asked if everything was okay, I asked about the fries. A few minutes later out come the fries. The service makes me knock the rating down to 2 stars. The place was empty so that can't be their excuse.

Outback or Outhouse??? I have been to this Outback 3 times. The first time, I left after 20 minutes when not one person came by to check in let alone bring me water. The second time was better service but then again, it can't get any worse. This time though, the service and the food were mediocre at best. I was brought water in a severely cracked glass. I accidentally dropped my spoon to stir in the cream and the waitress picked it up only to place it one plate. Disgusting. The steak was not properly prepared. Ordered medium rare and it was more brown than pink. I remember back when going to Outback meant that your salads were fantastic. Now you are lucky to get more than 3 pieces of cucumber, cheese and onions. Basically, much smaller salads and poor quality. I ordered the new mac-n-cheese dish and it was very peppery even though the description did not mention pepper but garlic. When I had to ask for more coffee, it took forever and when she came back out, she apologized and proceeded to tells that they were having a "pow wow". Have meetings, if that's what it was, in the morning or early afternoon but not at 5pm.

The food is decent. Service is terrible. We sat for over an hour waiting for our entrees. The server also mustn't of had any clue about children because he places a steak knife and other various things in front of our 10 month old.

Service and food was good. We ordered the salmon, steak, chicken and ribs. We were all pleased with the food and the service was fine.

A chain? This good? With great service?! I was actually very impressed with this Outback. Driving home one night from a recent trip we spotted this place off the highway. I absolutely love their warm bread and I thought what the heck, I want some steak! When you walk in you are greeted with a great big smile. We didn't have to wait to be seated but I noted that they had a set up next to the waiting area with glasses and lemon water. In my opinion that was a great touch that a lot of posh places in Philly could take note of. Our server was awesome. Happy, attentive and talkative with us she pointed out a special being offered on Wednesdays. App, salad and Entrees for 2 all for $25! Heck yess! I love a good deal. The food was tasty and I left full. Can't go wrong with that.

I would rank this place a 1 star because the service was absolutly horrible. The server was very annoying and he lost my credit card twice until they found it 15 minutes later. The double burger was ok and the blooming onion was very good but the server just fucked it all up. never going back ever again

Because we had a coupin we shuffled over to Outback this weekend to brave a very, very long wait for very, very average food. Even though we called ahead it was still a 50 minute wait for that list and it was 65-75 if you walked in off the street without calling ahead. This Outback is small on the inside in terms of actual seats. The bar area is a decent size and they do have tables around the bar that are first come/first serve but with so many people hanging out in the foyer you couldn't have got to that area if you would have screamed "Fire!". As for the food itself things were very....average. The brown bread that was brought out was OK although I think it's suppose to be warm, and it wasn't, but the butter that came with it was very warm and very melted. We opted for the Chicken on the Barbie which is nothing more than a small piece of chicken with an equally small cup of BBQ sauce. The chicken itself was alright but the BBQ sauce lacked any flavor nor did it have any bite. The accompanying baked potato was also alright except for the skin being coated in too much salt. The other entree was the Twin Lobster Tails and they were also alright even though they were very small in size and the amount of butter given with them was laughable at best and stupid at worst. The service was very good considering how busy everything was. We didn't wait long at all for the food once the order was placed and drink refills were no problem at all. Overall it was a good meal even though this place is about as much of a steakhouse as a Texas Roadhouse or a Longhorn is. It should be thought of more as Outback "bland, boring, and cheesy chain restaurant that also happens to serve steak" Restaurant.

This place is close to home and has been my "go to" place for a meal when I didn't feel like cooking. The portions keep getting smaller and smaller and prices continue to go up. I ALWAYS order the Prime Rib and a beer ( don't need to see the menu). The beer was about the only thing that was good. I didn't wait long for my salad which was nice. But I got two bites of it and next thing I know, my steak is being pushed in front of me. The bartender apologized that it came out so soon , but then walked away. She never asked if I wanted it returned or held to be hot etc. The steak was 50% fat and I felt like I got half of a steak. I know Prime Rib can be fatty, but as a cook or Manager I would have never allowed that piece of meat to be served. I think it's time to find a new "go to"place since service is starting to go downhill and food quality is slipping. They had a ton of servers and they seemed to be just milling around the place and not tending to customers. It's a shame because this was once a great place to go to.

Have to say the food was very good, no complaints there. The service was terrible! They need a better wait staff! Slow moving waitresses and it wasn't that busy! Not returning anytime soon!

Before I begin my review, I want to say, I love Outback. Friday nights with my family consists of a stop in Outback. We usually go to a nearby Outback in NJ, but this time we stopped by here on our way to Hershey Park, Pa. The one thing I definitely loved about this specific Outback, at least for that one time we visited, was their seared ahi tuna. I've had this appetizer at all Outback that we've visited, but at this place, they had it cut thick and was well presented (as you can see from my posted photo here). And not to mention, their service was really great! The workers were very friendly that August 2012 night! We would definitely stop by this resto again if we ever visit Hershey Park in the future!

Great dinner at Outback! The $4 apps and drinks were amazing...Got the bloomin petals and coconut shrimp. Dinners were wonderful lobster and sirloins and crab stuffed shrooms! Donna was GREAT and proactive! Jamie runs a great organization! We will be back next week to taste another group of apps and dinners!

Lisa (General Manager) and her team do a very good job. The food is consistently good as is the service. Like all Outback's they do offer a Gluten Free menu which is important to a special lady in my life. I dine here often and recommend it even though I am not typically a chain kinda guy. They do offer a loyalty program (punch card) at is particular location. As your server or the bartender about it as there is no cost. My only complaint here is that they need to replace seat bottom cushions at tables and booths as they are very worn and quickly become uncomfortable.

We first went to Outback Friday evening without calling ahead...there was a 60 minute wait, the place seemed mobbed, we decided to come another day. Which leads me to today. I was REALLY looking forward to visiting an Outback as I fondly remember our visit maybe 10 years ago when I had an entree called Alice Springs Chicken. We arrived at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon. I was immediately surprised at the lack of a warm welcome. The very young hostess simply looked up at me and said"How many?' She said there is a 15 minute wait....and waited for my reply. I said we would wait at the bar. The bartender was polite we each ordered a beer and she asked if we were having dinner. I said yes and she brought us menus and a table set up. I said no we are waiting for our table. (this becomes relevant later). In around 20 min. the same hostess came to tell us our table was ready. My husband asked for our bar bill which by the way was only for our two beers. She gave it to us but then physically left the bar. We waited and waited..finally we picked up our beverage and the check and headed to the hostess who sent us back to the bar because "we cannot seat you until you pay for your drinks". I said "No problem but she's not there!". Response - Blank stare. By this time the lack of service or enthusiasm on ANYONES part was seriously getting on my nerves. Did the bartender know about the payment policy at her bar? If so why not give us our check immediately and inform us before leaving the bar area? At this point there were 5 people standing around the hostess station...No one could offer to take our payment to the bar so we could be seated? Even the young man who showed us to our table (finally) showed no interest or personality. I was TURNED OFF. So here comes Karen Anne, our server. Sigh of relief. She was warm friendly and when I told her we were off to a very bad start, she went out of her way to be sweet and accommodating. At one point she said someone was going to come and talk to us. Twice she asked throughout our dinner if anyone had come yet. We said no. She seemed embarrassed. I was embarrassed for her. As far as the meal, it was not what I remembered. My alice springs chicken was so small they served it on an appetizer plate! it was also missing the honey mustard sauce. When I told Karen she brought out a cup of cold salad dressing. All I could do was shake my head. When Karen brought the check she said we were not charged for our appetizer. Very nice but i never order anything I'm not prepared to pay for. I wanted to be heard and am still curious as to why the manager walked past my table no less than 5 times without saying anything. One last bit of advice. DO NOT forget your "to go" container. We got to the car and realized we had forgotten ours and my husband turned around and walked back in (this probably took less than 3-4 minutes)...they had already chucked it. After going through 3 different employees he was given a card for a free blooming onion with the purchase of an entree. We laughed. We don't usually dine at chain restaurants so I am not accustomed to being treating as though I don't matter. Free bloomin onion or not, I'd have to be very hungry and out of options to ever return.

Service is sometimes slow and a little less than half the time my steak is not done properly. When it is done right it's very good. One less star because of the unpredictability. Tonight my medium rare steak was medium well. Sent it back and got a rare one brought out. Sent it back again before they finally got it right. Waiter indicated there were some challenges in the kitchen tonight and saw other patrons send things back as well. Got a $5 gift card for next visit for my troubles.
