Stuck with no car near the Lehigh airport, nothing but Applebee's and "Primo Hoagies" within 2-3 miles. So happy that Hello delivered out to my hotel! I ordered the Thai burrito with mango salsa, mixed greens in place of tortilla, brown rice in place of white. Ingredients were simple - broccoli fresh and lightly cooked, carrots, some red peppers, a peanut sauce on the side. I'd give it the extra star if there was more spice and zest - I've had many a killer peanut sauce in my day, and this wasn't quite up to par. As it stood however, it was a great meal - simple, healthy, reasonably priced, and delivered a distance to gratitude.

So yummy ! The salad (I think it was the Asian or some variation of that, salad.) was so yummy and my boy ha a burrito and loved it! Also the soda is super cool and organic and tastes very fresh!

Tried the buffalo chicken quesadilla. I found it very lacking. I do like the chips or an apple... very panera bread'esk

I love this place. The fruit burrito with sweet cream cheese is my favorite!

This place has definitely grown on me. I think their soups are quite tasty and different (the pineapple soup is really good!). I found a favorite, too: the mango burrito bowl. The mango salsa is outtasight. Sweet, cilantro-d goodness. I usually get it with chicken and add hot sauce, but occasionally opt for the buffalo chicken, which is great as well. Not super spicy. Just enough to jazz it up. I like Hello Burrito. I feel like their options are healthy, homemade and low salt.

Nice place. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Varied menu. Basically you can get any type of burrito that exists here made fresh. Liked the locally made soda fountain as well.

We really wanted this place to be better but it was just so-so. A bland Southwest Burrito and flavorless Chicken Quesadilla were our unfortunate choices. Cool place with a cool vibe but the food just isn't that good. Bummer. We'll head to the new Chipotle next time we have a hankering for a burrito.

The cold options are, with all honesty, a lot better than the warm ones. Like, they actually have some taste to them!

Great little place. A tad overpriced, but the food is fresh and the menu is large. Be sure to try the desert wraps! Delicious.

Hello Burrito... where should I start? Well, I'm a college student so already this is up my stereotypical alley. They have a range of things to choose from in terms of salads, hot wraps, cold wraps, and other smaller orders. I've stuck closely to the Burrito side of the menu and for the most part I've always enjoyed what I got. They have two sizes; a regular and large. I've always gotten large and I've always been more than full afterward. Prices aren't too bad, as you get what you pay for in size. The staff has always been great to me and the woman who I always see is always as cute as she is helpful. I'd recommend this for lunch if you're around Historic Bethlehem.

Pretty good, fresh flavors & good sized portions. Bonus: they deliver!!!

I am a true fan of three things in life: Clean sheets, Radiohead, and the southwest burrito with tofu from Hello Burrito. It's quite a beast, but I'm willing to starve myself until I can make it over there to ensure I have enough room to see it through until the end. I mean, my boyfriend and I basically eat our meals there in complete silence because we're too focused on devouring our delicious meals to pay attention to each other. Kidding. Sort of. Their hot sauce selection is bizarre though -- I've sampled about six at this point and only one is actually spicy. The rest just kind of taste like a tangy, watered down Tabasco cocktail.

This place grew on me. The first time I went (when the place was new) my food was bland at best. But there are so many great-looking things on their menu, and they've just added more, that I had to go back. Reasons I'm now a loyal visitor: I'm impressed by how friendly the people are who work there. They are welcoming and answer any questions in person or over the phone. The owner is often there and is open to suggestions. The food is FRESH. For its area in Bethlehem, it's inexpensive. Also, they've just added smaller sizes of things to their menu that are slightly cheaper. This is a vegetarian or vegan's paradise. You can really have anything off the menu, and if you tell them they have dietary restrictions or preferences they are very open about what's in everything.

They just missed the mark. For a burrito place not to have a decent veg option, bland rice & flavorless salsa (which they charged extra for) is a total disappointment.

My office ordered from Hello Burrito today. It was delicious. The staff was great when it was reported that a drink and addition of chicken was missing. They ran over the drink right away along with a gift certificate to make up for the missing chicken. It was greatly appreciated. I'll deal with goofs all day (we're only human) if they are handled with the grace that this place handled it with. Thanks again and I look forward

Second trip to Hello. Service was very fast this time and staff is very friendly. I ordered the Mango Burrito with a cauliflower and carrot soup. The soup was really really good! Great flavor and not too salty at all. The burrito was also good. My only issue was the combination of mango and black beans is interesting, but I think just not for me. I'll certainly go back and try the Southwest next time!

I just had a great southwestern burrito with chicken today! It was fresh & delicious. Big hit with the kids too!

  • Robert S.

The burritos are large and ingredients seem to be fresh and of good quality. But you would expect that from a $8 burrito. The place is clean and roomy, even if it always seems to be empty. The food tastes pretty bland. They need to get different salsa or some other sauce that is actually hot and spicy. Even seasonings on the meat would help. I'm not sure that the Valley will ever get a Chipotle during my lifetime (why the heck not?) but Hello Burrito is better than nothing I suppose.

My brother and I eat here often after our morning workouts. The soups are amazing an always made fresh. Foo is always great and can be vegetarian or not. Very fresh and so worth it!

The burritos were very good but not the best. I LOVE the fact they deliver and the dessert (quesadilla?) was very good.

I love Hello Burrito! It's a great place to grab lunch or dinner on my work breaks, and everything, unless otherwise marked, is vegetarian friendly! (there's even the option to ad tofu!) The staff is great and the local art work on the dining tables is eye-catching. My only complaint is that it is pricey-- especially for a lunch option. However, with the amount of food that you get for your money, there's definitely room for left-overs! :)

This is my favorite place to go while I'm at school in bethlehem. They have so many options and the workers there are very friendly, not to mention the food is delicious!

Here's my opinion of a good burrito place; fresh ingredients, quick, and cheap pricing. Well done, Hello Burrito. I happened to walk by Hello Burrito today and walked on in...and it was opening day! I've worked in restaurants on opening day, and it's almost always a complete mess of people trying to figure things out. This place already had it down pat. The staff was super friendly and on top of things, chatted with me as I waited for my food and so on. They were obviously really excited about their new place, and it made me more excited to try it out. Food-wise...I mean you really can't expect better. I got a mango burrito with tofu and a basic chicken burrito for my neighbor. Everything was so fresh and delicious...and HUGE! Holy goodness. AND it came with a side of either chips or a drink! ALSO awesome, they have brown rice and wheat tortillas for no extra cost. Plus, behind the counter someone was cutting up fresh veggies and using a food processor, and I love when places cook in front of you, because then you KNOW your food is fresh, and that they're adhering to healthy/sanitary food service standards. Price-wise, also awesome. It was $6.50 for a basic burrito, and $1.00 extra if you want a protein (chicken, steak, tofu and...something else, maybe pork? I can't remember). $7.50 for a delicious burrito too large to actually finish is hard to beat. They have quite a few burrito options and they're all the same price, so if you want a fancier burrito you're not paying more. If they can pull off the fresh/cheap/quick/delicious thing consistently, they'll have my business for a long time to come.

I thought this would be good place but I was greatly disappointed. I went on a Saturday. The place has a weird atmosphere and an echo to it. I did not like the set up, its has a very cold feeling to it. Doesn't seem like a place you would like to eat in, I was uncomfortable. Walking in there was a weird smell coming in that was uninviteful. I got the chicken quesadilla which was average at best. The chicken had zero flavor and there was just a little cheese on it which was mostly contained on the one end. I got the salsa which was just plain diced tomatoes, it was not real salsa. They have no fountain soda so I got a lemonade which was basically tap water with some lemon juice squirted in. It was watered down and tasted more like water than lemon flavor. They also don't take American Express. I know alot of people are saying this place is cheap however I would not say cheap, just average. I would be surprised if this place is still in business next time this year. On weekends parking can be a problem.

For my friends in St Louis, the experience here gave me the impression that Hello Burrito is to the crowded burrito space, as Sauce on the Side is to calzones [albeit calzone space is not crowded, and they don't have the favor of a bevy of establishments such as Chipotle, Q'doba, Baja Fresh, etc]. Has a cool, college-town vibe. Cane soda fountain drinks, even with the same kind of small-ish, clear plastic cups. Similar hip music in the background. Open spacing. Wood floors. Chalkboard menus. No t-shirts, though. So, on my first visit, I'm liking this place. If I wander back into downtown Bethlehem, I'll keep this on the short list, and look forward to exploring the eclectic menu. My experience - interesting and good flavors, but subtle. The corn, cream chili was tasty, with warmth but not overpoweringly so. Then went with the standard burrito bowl and had chicken added. Simple. Ample. Fresh. Mellow. Good service. Prices are reasonable. Probably could've gotten out for under $10, but only poked into the $12 range because of my curiosity.

There is a wealth of wonderful South American restaurants in the Bethlehem-Allentown area, so I was quite reluctant to come here. However a friend loves this place and was treating a few people once, so I tagged along. Verdict: The food is simply bland. Yeah, I am sure this place has their fans. For my taste buds that are primed for more flavor and meat, not a place I would come back to. Having exotic sounding burritos and wraps like "mango chicken, asian sesame, and meditteranean" does not make it good. I tried these three from my friends who ordered them. I ordered a plain burrito. Every one of them were bland and forgettable. If someone is in the mood for some really good burritos, go to Mexico Lindo on main street or Francisco El Salvederno further down the street. Hello Burrito is as forgettable as the random stranger you once wished hello on the busy streets of NYC. Thank you.

Don't let the name fool you, you will be tricked into eating a "wrap" (the suckiest manifestation of food ever imagined) at this place. I can't stand places like this that pretend to be health food, peddling gross smelling factory farmed meat up an down their menu. The couple vegan options were completely lame (obviously thought up by someone who wasn't veg), and were also a far cry from anything that could be described as a burrito. I hate to say it, but the poopy I made in their bathroom smelled better than all the gross boiling chicken parts that filled the air with stench from their kitchen.

I dont usually review and most definitely hate to complain, but the 51 reviews are so different from my experience at this restaurant, that i cant believe they weren't put there by some marketing agency. The food was just tasteless No salt, no spice, no nothing. The place was nice, the servers helpful, polite and efficient, the menu imaginative. But the food just had no taste, as all four in my party agreed. Not old or bad -just tasteless not even the salsa

Not the type of place I usually go to, but it is very good. Everything is well made and they have something for everyone. Vegan Friendly. Definitely stop in and check it out.

Mercifully I'm not a hipster and I don't play one on TV just like mercifully I'm not vegetarian and I cast sort of a beady eye towards those amongst us who are but at the lovely wife's suggestion we recently gave HB a shot anyway even though this place seems like a haven for both of the aforementioned groups. Now I personally have never given this place much thought even though we live very close and they have been here for quite a few years. Why you ask? Well, because looking at their menu on line it seemed rather small, unimaginative and dull and unfortunately that kind of played out during our visit. We both were in the mood for soup and that idea died a quick death upon seeing that they had some sort of garlic asparagus and a curried cauliflower for choices. We both opted for the mango chicken burrito and as a few other Yelpers have mentioned, you might say that we were a bit ummmm, underwhelmed by the flavor. I used the word flavor but that's kind of a misnomer because that would imply that there was some but in reality it tasted like a big block of sour cream & beans in a limp tortilla. The lovely wife had a slightly more forgiving opinion than I did about things but the key word there would be slight. I saw one, yes that would be one, piece of mango overall and the chicken when eaten by itself had a.....boiled blandness/consistency to it like it been sitting in some water or watery solution all day ala hospital cafeteria food. I also said all day because we came in around 6pm and aside of one other person the place was deserted. The Boylan soda is certainly a nice change from other places but it obviously can't make up for food that is simply not very good. I like to buy local as much if not more than the next person but at the end of day if the item or food in question is bad then you would be an idiot to continue to support it. I guess maybe we ordered "the wrong thing" and maybe other menu items are better but as of now I really find it hard to want to spend more money on crap food that I could get at Moe's or Qdoba for similar prices that taste a hundred times better.

Hello burrito, goodbye appetite. I got a chicken & cheese quesadilla that didn't taste like anything. Put some guac on it only to find out that tasted like straight up pureed onions. The soda tastes gross and I left overall pissed that we even gave them $18 for crappy food.

We LOVE this place and generally eat there at least once a week. My favorites are their daily specials and their soups--ALWAYS good no matter which one I try. All their ingredients are very healthy. Nothing is ever heavy or greasy. Really good, delicious food. A bonus are the Boylan sodas on tap (no HFCS here!) and the cookies from Back Door Bake Shop. Looking forward to the next time I go there. My daughter and my boyfriend love it too!

Nice selection, good portion and free delivery. I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Have only had the burritos so I can't comment on the other menu items. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that they have been a little inconsistent from time to time.

We had such high hopes. In town for a poker tournament at Sands, Googled this joint and got myself way too excited. Granted it was brunch hours on a Sunday, but the place was deserted. First red flag. Two employees, another huge "run!" clue. Being vegan was thrilled to see a vegan burrito chalked onto daily special board so I ordered that and added tofu for a dollar. My husband ordered a chicken burrito bowl. It took at least 15 minutes for us to get our food being the only customers at that point, we were on a tight schedule. The cook apologized and explained he had to make fresh guacamole... The food arrives. My mouth dropped a little looking at my husands plate. Plain over cooked rice. Where was all the chicken? It was shredded and also blah looking hiding a little under way too much of that horrid rice as well as near non existent. Plain black beans beside that accompanied by a little pico beside that. It was presented just as I knew it would taste. Boring. Soon confirmed by a frustrated, hungry husband. Here is why this review gets two stars in addition to the charming LOOK of the place with its vintage arcade games, Sriracha on hand, artistic topped tables and few beautiful birch booths. As well as a cool soda machine which has tasty cream soda, blackcherry, ginger ale etc. A nice change of pace from Pepsi or Coke we are usually smothered with. My burrito; the only flavor that came through was the vegan cheese which was nice and the guacamole. It's a good thing I love Sriracha, I used a ton of it. The refried beans, the rice, the pico, the tofu.. all blown potential. A real shame. Had we not had to wait so long and been so disappointed I would have gone back and cleared our dishes and put the sauces back to the bins I spotted walking out but we simply had to go with food still on our plates and unsatisfied hunger in our bellies. Perhaps the biggest annoyance was that we wasted one of our out of town eats on such a dud, I'm sure Bethlehem has much more to offer. A little tip to the woman working the register, taste your food! Don't shout to my husband asking how he enjoyed his meal when you actually have a couple customers at this point, because as you found out, he will tell you just as loud that he didn't like it. I regretted not asking where the flavor was. Hopefully they read these reviews, I like rooting for the underdog seeing little mom and pop joints thrive but for now I think we will stick to Chipotle for our burrito fix where there is flavor to be had and quicker service.

Like others have said, without hot sauce these burritos just don't cut it. Because they are local and a small business I have tried them about five times and never been impressed. Other family members enjoy the mango and southwest burritos but I just don't get enough flavor from their stuff. The place is huge, they must pay a fortune in rent since it looks like it takes up two store fronts. The food prep area is poorly lit and they seem to have lots of wasted space. I don't know how they stay in business.

    (2)
  • Tim O.

The place has a hipster vibe. The wait time was negligible. The prices are reasonable, but I thought that the burrito was sloppily constructed and lacked the "Wow!" factor. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. Looking forward to giving it another shot this fall.

  • Joe M.

How did this place get an overall 4-stars? Perhaps those who have reviewed have never tasted a burrito. I gave this place a try in 2012: I left disappointed by I applauded them for trying. I tried again in 2013; yuck - what a bad burrito, I was thinking that I just had an unusual experience. Because I like independent businesses, I gave them one last shot (March 2014), and wow, this place just has proven that they do not make a good burrito. Like other reviewers mentioned, you'll be better off getting a flavorful burrito from a fast good chain (chipotle, Qdoba). You'll also spend less and get more. The Curry Chicken Burrito Bowl is what I ordered today. What I got was mostly soggy over-cooked broccoli with a mild and oily curry sauce that basically made the vegetable sit in a puddle. The rice was straight rice, no seasoning. The chicken was straight chicken, no seasoning. The chicken was chewy and dry. I am kicking myself for not going down the street and just getting a Thai lunch which would have been freshly made with a variety of vegetables for about the same price: $8.25. You also won't get all of those fun, fresh and tasty extras that you'd get at Qdoba, like fresh salsas, pico, cheese, lettuce, beans, etc. While this place is called Hello Burrito, most of their items don't even seem to have a resemblance to a burrito, and lack the basic components. So please, don't go here thinking that you'll be getting a half-decent burrito, you'll be receiving a sloppy and bland dish. I'm sorry, but it's Good-Bye Burrito forever!

Just ok, the rice was good, very little tofu I only remember having about 4 small pieces.

Delicious, clean, excellent music, friendly staff. They always have a new variety of soups that are made fresh and there is definitely a focus on healthy vegetarian options if that is what you are looking for.

Omg! Past by the place several times.... Never went in. Was in a 5k yesterday that they catered. Yummy! They served wraps that were delish! Started thinking about those wraps again today after I did my run/walk. Got several for some friends to try. The hummus, portobello, and mozzarella wraps are excellent. I got my son a mango burrito that he will eat later (but looks wonderful). Highly recommend.

Well, it looks like this is one of the times where I'm not in the Yelp majority of opinion. After all, it was all of the positive reviews that drove me to pop in here for some mid-afternoon grub, so maybe my expectations were skewed. I decided to get a burrito bowl with chicken, which sounded wonderful. Well, it actually wasn't a bowl, but rather, all served on a plate with refried beans and rice. Whatever. It was fresh, filling and good, but probably a bit too bland for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Boylan fountain drink options and certainly enjoyed a rare cream soda with a free refill. The service was prompt and the restaurant is much bigger than I assumed. I'd come back to HB again, but would probably try something different to see where all these other five stars are coming from.

We walked by this place and I checked it out on my Yelp app, desperate to eat somewhere other than the hotel restaurant. It had good reviews, so my family and I headed over. It's a clean and inviting place with ample seating and a MS. PACMAN!! Love it The menu was vegetarian AWESOMENESS with so many options that it was hard to choose. The meat eaters were also well served. I would call this a wrap place, though there are some Mexican type "burritos" available. I decided to go with the swiss and avocado, which also came with greens and ranch on a tomato basil wrap. It was fresh and really good! I wish it had more avocado. The ranch was a little peppery so it had a bit of a spice to it. They have a soda fountain machine with local sodas instead of Coke or Pepsi products, which I thought was cool. I didn't partake as I try to stay away from soda. Their soups sounded really good, and my father in law really liked his. Our food came out pretty quickly, but in our group of 6, there was a big gap between the first and last person getting theirs. Not a huge deal. I WISH they had one of these where I live... I'd probably eat my way through the menu!

Fantastic little burrito place nestled in gorgeous downtown bethlehem ! Very nice and clean restaurant! The food was good, husband had the southwest burrito which was really flavorful! He was starved when we got here and the large filled him comfortably! I got the traditional beef burrito and it was okay , kind of bland but dr it up with some hot sauce. Was very happy to see they offer Boylans fountain sodas! Very nice change from the ordinary coke or Pepsi! Price was a little high, we paid $20 for 2 burritos and 2 sodas! Will come back again!

Recently had a mango/beef burrito and a fancy rootbeer (or birch) (from their soda fountain) here. Everything was a-ok/fine and priced similar to chipotle, and similar in quality, but I wish they had some additional choices of salsas and/or hot sauces. I spiced mine up with tabasco, but if the managers are reading these reviews...get some additional salsa choices and get a variety of bottled hot sauces and fill up a wall or counter for people to try on their burritos.

Hello, delicious! I was in Bethlehem (for the first time) for one afternoon and stopped in at Hello Burrito because of its high rating on Yelp. My burrito had fresh chunks of mango, tofu, black beans, jack cheese, brown rice, sour cream... all in a whole wheat wrap. It was so tasty, and just the right serving size. They guys behind the counter were super friendly, the service was quick, the prices were fair, and the food was yummy. Not being familiar with Bethlehem, I was nervous about being able to find a place with vegetarian options - Hello Burrito was perfect for a quick lunch!

My office recently moved to downtown Bethlehem...and I'm so excited that hello burrito is right across the street. I'm looking forward to continuing to eat there for lunch throughout the coming years. I'm hoping that they get some additional salsas - I love me some Pico de Gallo, but time to spice it up folks!

This would have been a five if it wasn't for the mushy rice. $7.50 for a burrito with meat sounds like a lot, but when you see the size, it's really understandable. Mine was bigger than the average one I have at Chipotle, and these folks don't have the volume of a chain to reduce their costs. I went with the plain ole burrito, sans beans, and added chicken. The chicken had good flavor and was juicy, the salsa fresh (though could have used some zing...hot sauce helped), but the rice was just so sad. Mushy mushy mush. I brought my other half home, made some fresh rice, and scooped the toppings into a fresh shell. Much better. My husband had the Asian sesame wrap with chicken...more flavorful than mine with a nice richness from the sesame. Big ups for the freshness and value, but the rice needs some work to make it a five.

  • Chris G.

Me and my wife decided to give it a try and probably will never go again. She had a mango burrito and I had the southwest. Just blah.....rice was flavorless, meat was bland like its been sitting in water boiling for a month and the salsa was just a few diced tomatoes wouldn't recommend it I'd rather go to moes on shoenersville by the airport and get something with actual flavor there and the have chips with free salsa.

I've been here a couple of times so far. I intend to keep coming back. Big, fat, tasty burritos. Prices are good. Service is friendly. The accommodations are spacious. Julia loved the soup. Oh! And Boylan fountain drinks. Great idea!

I don't know how truly Mexican the food here is, but it's definitely fresh and delicious! It reminds me of places I've eaten in California, so I suppose that's one reason I enjoy it so much... plus, it's different than the normal eateries I see in Bethlehem. Their avocado & swiss wraps are yummy... and surprisingly filling for something that doesn't have meat in it. I get it with the seasoned tofu, and it's delish! The prices are great, too... I had the artichoke soup recently, and it was a little too much garlic for me, as I work with the public and don't want to gross anyone out with fire-breath. But it tasted good! I like that they don't have regular sodas here... their soda fountain has the best flavors of soda! Fruity, bubbly and refreshing! YUM. The interior is clean, if a bit cool. I love the tables! Their a lot of fun to check out... very artistic. If you're in the area and don't want anything greasy, or don't feel like pasta or burgers, then check out Hello Burrito! It's totally worth the $7.50!!

I LOVE Hello Burrito. Don't let the name fool you though, there are only a few actual burritos offered on their menu. Instead there are many different wraps, salads, and quesadillas. I've tried a few different options such as the Mediterranean, Southwest salad and such, though once I tried the California wrap I haven't been able to try anything else, I love it so much! Recently a friend of mine tried the Mediterranean wrap and was disappointed by the lack of vegetables inside of it. Because hers had such fewer veggies than mine had months earlier I guessed that their wraps may vary slightly based off of what fresh produce they have available. If this is true than once can expect inconsistency. Personally, I don't mind it if it means that they work around fresh produce and not flash frozen, full of preservative junk that many fast food places have. Another thing that I love about this place is their soda selection. Off of the top of my head I can't remember my brand name but it's a natural line of sodas that come in delicious, classic flavors such as cola, black cherry, red birch beer, etc. The staff is kind and does the job well. It's slightly pricier, one person can expect to spend around $10 for a burrito/wrap and a beverage I think.

Just had the Southwest wrap with Chicken. It was very good, would have been great if i could have thrown some hot sauce on it. The size of the burrito is well priced.

After driving past Hello Burrito numerous times, I finally had an urge to go there, especially after looking at their menu. Everything sounded delicious and the prices were right. However, the quality of the burrito wasn't what I had expected. The beef was flavorless, overcooked, greasy and to be honest, didn't taste too much like meat. The portions are huge, their hot sauce selection is phenomenal, but the food was just "eh". I would like to give this place another shot in the near future.

I have been craving a cheap local burrito joint ever since I stopped working near Neato Burrito in Harrisburg. (oh how I miss that place!) Enter Hello Burrito. This is a neat little place with a funky vibe and decor run by the same people who own a similar restaurant in Kutztown. I had heard good things, so I made a beeline there as quickly as possible only days after it had opened. Boy was I glad! The food is made to order, fresh and delicious. Service is friendly. Nice selection (although half of the menu was eliminated bc I don't eat beans - always get rice as a substitute instead - weird I know.) NEway I had the buffalo chicken quesadillos which were really yummy. Not really hot like I was expecting but very tasty. Hubs was happy with his avacado infused wrap. We left wondering when we could make an excuse to come again. GO!

Had the Mango Burrito with Buffalo Chicken - wow - it was amazing. The mango pieces were so fresh and perfectly ripe, the chicken was flavorful and tender and just the right amount spicy. Service is friendly and engaged, decor is clean, modern, open but still welcoming. The menu might seem very limited to you at first - but remember that you can add from a choice of about 6 proteins to any of the burritos - so it's actually pretty varied. Prices are very reasonable considering the fresh ingredients and compared to what you pay for a meal at a chain lunch joint. Saw a guy walking by with a subway bag and just couldn't believe someone would walk by Hello Burrito to buy subway. There is a very large dining room - making this a good place to take a larger group. Oh - and they have a Boylan soda fountain!

I was just walking around Bethlehem when visiting my son and happened upon it. I'm a sucker for Mexican food, but was pleasantly surprised that the menu included a lot of vegetarian choices. Def right up my alley. I ordered the Avocado Wrap.....MMMMMMMM. very tasty, a nice blend of fresh veggies, avocado and light drizzle of dressing on a tomato wrap. A great bonus was a choice of chips or apple for a side. The staff was friendly, the place was clean & bright. Loved the artsy tables. Very cool. Will go there whenever I'm in town....oh I read a bunch of other reviews that said the food was bland. I would disagree. I like to actually taste the fresh ingredients and dont need a bunch of salty msg inspired gunk to add "flavor" to my food. I thought thee blend of ingredients lent their own infusion of flavor!

The food was generally bland. One quote from our table was "the yelp reviews must have been from people who've never had Chiptole." On the other hand, this was probably (?) healthier.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
