Stopped in intending to just have a drink or two. I had never been there before. I started seeing all of the food coming out of the kitchen. It smelled so good I gave in to my cravings and ordered the Crab and Parmesan Dip. It was really good! So I figured why stop there? I didn't have anywhere to be, so to complete my evening I topped it off with the BBQ Mixed Grille. I was impressed. The staff could not have been nicer and all the other patrons looked to be enjoying themselves. It had a great atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere in the Center Valley one is not so good and it has a bad lay out. It's dark and the walls are wood. (No good) small portions for what you pay. I only go if friends want to meet at an in between place. I feel like your always being watched by a manager or owner.

SO previously, before the renovation I would have scored the Copperhead pretty low on food and bottom of the list for interior ambiance. However, this past Saturday my buddy Ballistic and I stopped by for lunch and were pretty happy. The newly renovated restaurant is really cool; it has the sports bar vibe but you would bring the in-laws and feel just as comfortable. The place has plenty of TVs, it's bright, great bar selection of draft beer and wine...the makeover works! Ballistic had the Cuban and was quite happy...the fries he had were really done well, thick 'steak' cut fries with a great amount of seasoning, crispy outside and creamy inside...truly well done. I had the Gyro, pleasantly surprised by how exceptionally fresh all the ingredients were. The flat bread was soft and chewy, the lamb was great...all around a sandwich I would get the next time I go. The Bartender (who was awesome in every respect) tried telling me the coleslaw was made on premise...if you are going to lie to me, say I'm good looking with a full head of hair...for the love of God! As with the previous Copperhead...we come to the wings. Ballistic and I can get ferocious with wings. The standard Hot Wings were the best by far and not nearly as hot as we were warned. As in the past, the wings are just breaded way too much...way too much. If they could straighten this out I would absolutely be a more regular regular.

There are 2 locations, 1 in Allentown and 1 in Coopersburg. The Allentown location is a restaurant. The Coopersburg location is more like a sports bar/pub. Me and a group of my friends have been eating lunch here, every Friday for 2 years now. You can't find a friendlier staff or owner any where in the Valley. I've made it my "go-to" spot for a great variety of well prepared food.

Always a good sports bar, usually crowded but worth the wait.

Just had lunch their and the beer selection was great . I had carriabean ahi tuna which was awsome with a Yards IPA , My girl friend had a blackened shrimp cesar salad which she said was good with a Stella Artois on tap

One of my favorite local places to go to. I've been here probably 8 times or so since moving to the area 5 months ago and it's never really been a let down. They have a great atmosphere, a staff that is friendly (and nice to look at lol), a large beer selection and good food. I honestly wasn't a fan of their burgers (especially with the Burgery right up the road), but their fajitas are amazing as well as their wings.

We went there as a group prior to an event. They did get us out on time. The food was mediocre, figured grilled salmon would be a safe bet... However it wasn't, definitely tasted like it was frozen and overcooked. Mashed potatoes were pureed like they are serving at a retirement home. And why do restaurants think that a handful of grated cheese is needed on a garden salad, yuk.

Passing through and stopped in to the Copperhead. Excellent BBQ menu. Packed house large seating area. Excellent variety of food. Very large selection. Excellent service and very friendly. Lots of specialty drinks and a great Happy Hiur on Fridays. I will be back again guaranteed. Ordered the baby back ribs with chicken and shrimp. It was awesome!!! :-). I give it a solid A.

Great food once again- this place does not disappoint! The wings are very tasty- I recommend the habanero or venom wing sauce- steak was cooked perfect- service was very attentive -drinks remained full and food arrived hot and as ordered. All in all great night out for not a bank breaking amount- will return!

Went there tonite (Friday) and was seated right away. The food was perfect just the way we wanted it. Servers were very friendly and if they didn't know the answer to something they found out. There was a little hiccup tonite, that I won't go into detail about because ti was rectified immediately. Lets face it, no one is perfect, the key is accepting responsibility and fixing the situation. Well done by the staff tonite!!

No complaints about food. Service was horrible. Sitting at the bar is like sitting in a beginning bartenders class. The trainers are worse than the trainees and the managers are the worst. I saw topping off Blue Moon with Miller Lite because the waitresses are so slow picking up drink orders. But how many times is Miller Lite garnished with an orange? Get ice cubes to hit bartenders in the head to get attention to get another beer.

We stop here often for the great food and caring service. Always a good experience. The owners and managers make a point of stopping by to be sure everything is OK. Love this place. Great appetizers. Really enjoy the crab dip and the Mediterranean appetizer. Salads are terrific. The crab cake entree is reasonably priced and tasty.

I would like to update my review because my opinion has made a complete turn around. I used to think that the food was not worth the high prices, but after giving it a second chance I have fallen in love. I must've just had a bad experience before that turned me off because I now come here all the time and am never disappointed. As always, the service is wonderful. I love the steak fajitas and always end up getting them, however everything on this menu is delicious. Something else that is neat is that they always have new specials going on, for instance today they had a gyro, jambalaya, and a carnitas burrito. My friend tried the pork burrito and loved it! I also come here often for the half priced apps Monday through Thursday all the time. All the appetizers are so delicious and it's so fun going out late with friends for a cheap snack. I can't wait to come here once I am back on break from school again!

The good: The service, food choice, and food selections here are great. This place can become busy during on peak hours (dinner and weekend) so it does fill up fast then. It is a sports bar with lots of TV's in the bar / pub area. It also offers seating outside of the bar area and away from TV's. I have not had a bad meal here yet - and I do frequent here quite a bit when home. The bad: It can become crowded and a little noisy between TV's and music going in the bar room area. The seats in the bar room area restaurant are dated and not the most comfortable.

  • Laura V.

Not my favorite place to go. Used to come here when I was attending DeSales as it is right down the street. I've had three different dishes from them and all of them were average at best, especially the Buffaloes chicken wrap. During happy hour you have to sit at certain high tops or the bar to get the specials which is a bit frustrating, especially if it's busy because there aren't many places to sit. The take out wings we got were also not very good. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

I was told by family members that this was the place to go for great cheesesteaks so we thought we would give it a shot. First the place was crowded which is usually a good sign but definitely louder than I would prefer. I like to have conversation when I'm at dinner but it was difficult. The food is good and the atmosphere is enjoyable. If you don't mind the noise go for it or pick an off night.

The food here is good but as far as the service goes it is mediocre. I've been here plenty of times and the hostesses are usually always rude and act as if they don't even want to work. The waitresses are sweet and have always been more than accommodating.

Some friends and I went out to PA for New Years Eve to hit up the Sands Bethlehem. We got the stay and play package at the nearby Staybridge Suites. We arrived early and had no intention of eating at the casino due to long wait times. The ,hotel recommended Copperheads so we went with it. We called from the hotel to make a reservation (probably around 7) and they said 30 mins. The hotel gave us a ride over (definitely walkable if its not subzero conditions outside). We still had to wait about 15 mins to be seated, but staff was very nice and was able to bring drinks over from the bar when while we waited. The interior could use an upgrade - once you leave the bar area it is an open floorplan with a ton of booths. It was a little old and dated. There are also TVs along the wall with the booths facing the TVs. I would think it would be a good to watch a game. If you remove the TV s and bar it reminded me of the inside of an IHOP or Dennys. Judging from the ambiance, we weren't expecting much at this point. The server came over quickly and brought us our beers, and kept the beers coming throughout the night. He recommended that we start with the mozzarella sticks and told us that they were homemade. We got two orders and THEY WERE MINDBLOWING. The breading was fantastic with alot of different flavors, cheese was amazing (not like frozen sticks) and the marinara was to die for. Hands down the best mozzarella sticks I ever had. The entire table agreed. We also had a plate of nachos that we wrecked. It was so much food for the 5 of us that we should have stopped there. For dinner we ordered a variety of items, some had steak, others had fajitas or burgers, I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was great. Everyone was also fully satisfied with their dishes, but there was so much food we couldn't finish and needed to bring the leftovers back to the hotel. Overall, service and food was amazing. Decor could use work, judging from the cover, I was really not expecting all of the goodness that this place had to offer. Also, VERY AFFORDABLE and great beer selection (and you can order various sizes beers). Unfortunately I don't live nearby so I won't be coming back, but if I did I would definitely be there to watch some games.

We took my son back to Lehigh and stopped here for lunch. The food was excellent, possibly the best burger I've ever eaten. The nachos were also great, as it came with chunks of brisket.

Nice sports bar. Pretty good selection on the menu. Wings are good. Potato skins were way too smothered with cheese. Burger was okay. Nice selection of beers. Biggest complaint was a lack of specials during the March madness tournament.

Returned here after about a year and had another excellent experience. Dinner was excellent. I ordered the filet medium rare with crab meat and it was cooked perfectly The meal was enormous and at an excellent value. If you're looking for a huge appetizer the fried mozzarella is huge! The service was excellent, the venue was extremely crowded and our table was frequently checked by our waitress. She was courteous and pleasant during our visit. The venue is amazing for a sports bar. There are televisions everywhere in the establishment, and it would be a great place to watch any sporting event. it can get loud, as you'd expect at a sports bar, and screaming kids compound the noise. however, this did not distract from our overall dining experience. Still an excellent venue and value.

My girlfriend accompanied me on one of my overnight business trips to the Allentown area. It was a Monday night, and by the time we checked into our hotel, it was getting kind of late. If I was traveling solo, I would have grabbed a quick bite at the hotel bar and called it a night. We were hungry, but were told by the hotel front desk that not many of the restaurants in downtown Bethlehem were open on Monday nights. We had spotted this restaurant on the drive in, and made our way back to it. We were greeted by two girls and one guy at the hostess stand. They all seemed rather disinterested in their jobs, and actually carried on a conversation amongst themselves for a solid 15 seconds after we showed up in front of them. One of them finally led us to a table right next to a rather lively bunch of frat looking boys watching a basketball game on TV. The place was hardly packed, so we were surprised that she would select this table. We asked if we could have a quieter table next to one of the walls. She agreed, but we got a rush of 'tude from her as she huffed her way to the table and literally threw our menus down. On the bright side, our waitress was very friendly and took the time to answer some of our menu questions. She made a couple of suggestions, too. The food was average bar fare. It was not terrible, but not memorable either. The recommended chili was okay, until I bit into a nasty piece of gristle. The decor can best be described as sparse. It tries to be a sports bar and grill, but feels like someone converted a plain open meeting space without much effort or thought put into it. I would hardly go out of my way to visit it when back in the area again. The same gaggle of hostesses were there when we left, and could not even be bothered to look up and say goodbye. Not a good first or last impression to an otherwise forgettable place.

Service is always mediocre: this time we weren't even waited on after 20 minutes, never even approached! Food isn't the greatest, 3rd time giving it a try, never again

I will say, customer service here is great for the Lehigh Valley or anywhere for that matter. My husband and I sat at the bar on a Saturday night. Our bartender Kristen was excellent. She was sweet, attentive, and very friendly. Beer selection was surprisingly good. We had wings and coconut shrimp. Both good. I saw a lot of food come out of the kitchen that looked very good. I would go back to test the food out. As far as atmosphere, eh. Yes, there are a ton of tv's. That is really all that makes it a sports bar. They could do so much to improve it but I guess why would they? They seem to attract a big crowd the way they are. The biggest downfall other than the lack of atmosphere was hearing screaming children in the dining area while sitting at the bar. I'm not a fan of the "family" sports bar but if you are then this place is perfect for you. So overall, I would go here again to try the food. This place is good for what it is, a local family bar. I would recommend it to others because of the bar staff and the nice beer selection.

Excellent place for lunch or dinner! Had a blue cheese burger that was incredibly moist and flavorful. The service was great and all of the TVs made it perfect for World Cup watching!

So after being critical of the Copperhead and hearing from others who urged me to retry it and some who just told me I was an $/#%%{! I returned I believe there may be new management or ownership but it was good. Very attentive service and really good food and beer selection. I stand corrected and when I'm back in that area in a few weeks I would not hesitate to go back. Thanks to those who took the time to re-educate me.

Was in area for basketball tournament at Desales. This was the closest restaurant. I was super impressed. Loved the menu. Decor is a 3 service a 5 and food a 5. We had nachos for and appetizer. Huge and tasty. I had steakhouse salad that was so good and flavorful. Tried cucumber wasabi dressing and house vinaigrette which were both really good. Son had pulled pork. Definitely needed extra BBQ sauce but many with the sauce it was soooo good. Hubby had wings and he liked them very much. Service was great. Always refilling our drinks without asking.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. My boyfriend's family and I are at Copperhead in Bethlehem almost every single week. It's 5 minutes from my house, has incredible food, and is very affordable. The mozzarella sticks and caesar salads are the best I've ever had and I like to switch it up between the veggie and chicken fajita or a burger (also amazing) for an entree. The staff is always smiling and they strive to build relationships with their customers. If you're ever in the Lehigh Valley and want good food in a friendly environment, visit Copperhead!

I am biased towards this place because I live so close, I come very often. Really like their avgolemono soup. It is very tasty and veery filling so if you order a bowl, don't order too much more. I am not a big fan of their burgers. The steak is good and better than that is their sides: the sweet potato mash is super yummy as well as the grilled asparagus, and, if you want a small dessert that won't leave you too guilty, order a side of baked apples. These are basically a small portion of apple crisp kinda. My husband loves their no-bean chilli and their boneless bufalo strips.

In my opinion, it depends what youre going for here. It can either be really good or mediocre. Ive never had anything too bad though. As ive read in other reviews that were correct, for what you get its a little bit over priced fr an average sports bar atmosphere. You can go to a place like dave and busters or revolutions for around the same price with alot more options of things to do.

My wife, son & I went to the Copperhead for lunch today & they really wowed us! Let me start by saying, we have eaten here several times over the past few years & while it was always decent, it never totally wowed us, until today. I don't know if they have revamped the menu, hired a new chef but what ever they changed, they got it right. We started with a 10 piece wing order with garlic habanero sauce. The wings were crunchy on the outside, moist & juicy on the inside and the sauce was exceptional. It has a garlic flavor that is strong but not too strong & a hint of habanero flavor with the heat creeping up on you about a minute after you finish a wing. I am a huge fan of gyros and will try a gyro at any restaurant that serves them at least once. I have never seen a gyro on their menu, so that was my choice and what a great choice it was. It had the perfect balance of meat, veggies & tazaski sauce. What really set it apart from all the gyros was the feta cheese loaded on the top front & center - not only a beautiful presentation, a taste explosion. Many times gyros are overwhelming with the raw onions but they use a sweet purple onion that adds taste but doesn't over power everything else. I also paid the extra charge for the favorite fries, basically loaded fries with cheese, bacon & a dipping sauce - again excellent. I can honestly say this may have been the best gyro I have ever had, it was that good. My wife ordered a shrimp po boy sandwich which looked great & she totally enjoyed it, I didn't taste it but if my wife liked it as much as she said, I know it was great. Our son had a chicken meatball parmesan sub. Again, it looked magnificent and I didn't taste it but my son loved it. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive & made sure our beverages were always full. As we entered & left the restaurant any worker I made eye contact with smiled & said hello or thanked us for coming in. I truly felt they appreciated our business. The manager or owner stopped by our table as well making sure all was well. The service & food we received today is why some restaurants are extremely successful & others fail. The Copperhead did everything perfect today & we look forward to our next visit, which I am sure will be sooner than later.

Very good service, the employees are extremely friendly and they cater to anything you need in a timely manor. On the other hand, the food is WAY over priced and their menu has very little selection. The menu is confusing and not put together well. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant. There are way better options in our area!

I went in to this restaurant with a group and gotta tell ya, the waiter was on point, orders were correct when it came out. The ice tea glass was never empty and the food was great. The restaurant has a sports bar feel with lots of games and sports shows playing. Nice place I'll be back.

What can I say, this place is FIRST rate. A mistake in an order ended up with EXCELLENT customer service-going above and beyond. From the wait staff to management...exemplary customer satisfaction. The food is really good too and the place is spotlessly clean. We finally signed up for the membership. I really don't know why it took so long since we have been here at least 50 times in the past several years. (Yea, we really like it here!) Kuddos to you, Copperhead.

Going to school just right around the corner I go here at least once a month not if more. My friends and I love grabbing a bite here to eat dinner every once in awhile. The staff is very friendly and I am always brought to my table quite quickly with no wait. Their buffalo chicken sandwiches are amazing I must say. Having multiple different types of hot sauce to put on them. It is a great and hardy meal for about $10. Also, their appetizers are amazing the mozzarella sticks are good and so is the crab dip. Besides having great food it is also a great place to watch a game. Definitely recommend this place to eat.

I've driven past this restaurant many times and noted that the parking lot always seems full, so decided to give it a try. Good choice! Most of the patrons appeared to be locals - not college students, ever though it is close to several colleges. This bar food is as good as it gets (sauces are really good - both the hot sauce on the wings and the barbeque sauce on the ribs). The floor plan is open - nice contrast to many other crowded sports bars. Atmosphere is lively but not too noisy - lots of giant screen TVs showing a variety of sporting events. Good draft beer selection. Service is attentive but not intrusive. We'll be back!

Yum!!!! BEST wings around! Fajitas, burgers, pretty much everything on their menu is delicious!! From the friendly hosts/hostesses, to the professional servers, to the attentive managers who visit your table on every visit, the staff at the Copperhead is always superb! Lots of TV's keep the kids busy while the adults sit and chat in the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. Don't miss out on this dining experience if you live in the Lehigh Valley or are just passing through. You'll be happy you stopped by, and will be certain to return!!

The Copperhead serves pretty standard sandwiches and burgers. I go pretty frequently so I've been able to figure out what they make well and what they don't. There are a couple salads (spinach, motz, and tomato salad, and the cobb salad) and sandwiches (cuban, chicken ranchero) I stick with to be on the safe side. Their fajitas are filling and well seasoned. They have a okay selection of beers on tap and make a lot of mixed drinks as well. There are many televisions to easily watch sports. They hostesses and waiters are friendly. The bar service, when sitting at the bar, could be better. Since I'm pretty laid back and usually just relaxing I'm okay waiting for a drink even if they are not busy. They do a nice job with take out food also.

Came in from out of town to watch a Flyers playoff game, It is a pretty standard sports bar but it has everything that a good sports bar needs. Good staff and the food was pretty good. Plus flyers won so that may have jaded me but really enjoyed it.
