Won't answer their phone for an order and service is painfully slow making ordering and waiting not worth it. Sad because the place is within walking distance and I like their food. Just not worth the hassle for me anymore - I'll hop in the car and head down the street. Management needs a change up, place has gone downhill in the last 12 months.

I hate to pile on, but the reviews should have been taken into consideration before I drove out there this morning. I ordered a pork roll sandwich on a bagel from this place, and they put one piece of pork roll on it. ONE! I could barely even taste the meat. What a disappointment. Where I'm from, you get way more than that. I won't be patronizing this place anymore. The pursuit of a good bagel place continues.

Strangely, there are not a lot of places near Wayne to get a decent bagel. This is really it. Are they the world's best? No. Will they quench the need? Certainly. I'm sure this is some kind of franchise chain, but when you need a fix, this works. Also has bagel-based sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. The Berwyn location is nicer than the one in Wayne if you are looking to eat in.

First time! My cashier was really nice. The older redheaded lady was a bit rough. I should have checked my bagel before I left but I thought it's a salted bagel toasted with cream cheese. So I got in my car and drove 2.5 miles to Barnes and Noble. When I unwrapped my bagel and bit into it it was extremely chewy and hard to eat. I looked at the ticket because I am thinking I know I told her toasted. Sure enough I did and the redheaded lady who screamed number 38 so loud and like 4 times like I didn't hear her screwed my bagel up. It WAS supposed to be toasted and it's not and this bagel sucks! I M pissed and stuck with this shitty u toasted bagel! Yay!

Why such poor reviews? Eesh. Order a dozen Everythings and GTFO. Make your sandwich at home. This is the most New Jersey-ish bagel you can find on the mainline. Dense, chewy, fantastic.

My experience today almost rated 1-star, but I've been there before for a decent meal, so I bumped it up to 2. I ordered a bagel with sausage-egg-and-cheese and received a pretty small circle piece of sausage that conservatively took up 60% of the bagel. Not thrilled that the egg was a fried egg over hard, but everyone seems to be cheating that way, instead of scrambling the eggs up into a consistent yellow. Rosemary Olive Oil bagel was pretty good though. The other bagel I had was an onion bagel with cream cheese and and I'd say it was either very stale/chewy and/or overly dense. Small thing, but was annoying when they charged me a 25cent cup fee for water, most places just give you the little clear cup for water for free, but I got a full cup for the price. Small disconnect on whether my order was for here or to go when served up, but thats a minor thing.

I went this morning for a few bagels and a breakfast sandwich - this was my second visit to this location after going to the one in Wayne once. Ordered the sandwich and when it wasn't done almost 10 mins later I went to the counter and asked the cashier to check on it. As she walked to the back where they make the egg sandwiches I could see 5 of them done and just sitting there unwrapped. I finally got mine and when I went to eat it in the car found that it was lukewarm. There were at least 5-6 employees there and someone had to cook the breakfast sandwiches...maybe the person in charge of wrapping them up and delivering them wasn't there? I don't know but I won't be going back to find out of it happens again. The bagels are pretty good but there are other options...

My boyfriend and I have been frequenting this establishment about twice a month for 7 months. Unfortunately we will no longer be patronizing there anymore as of today. I placed an order over the phone for pick-up at 11:30. My boyfriend went to pick-up the order around 11:50. The order was not ready until 12:15. Keep in mind we ordered 2 bagel sandwiches and 2 orders of their potatoes. He arrived home and we opened the foil on our bagels. His bagel sandwich was completely cold and my poppy seed bagel was completely raw. It looked like a flat, greasy soaked sponge. I wrapped it back up so I could return it but as I was just about to leave my boyfriend showed me a dark hair that was in his potatoes. I thought it seriously could not have gotten any worse at this point but it did.... I went back to the Bagel Factory and asked to speak with the manager. I explained the situation and showed her the bagel. Her eyes just got real wide. She and the cashier were beyond gracious and accommodating. However, the owner could not have been more disrespectful or unprofessional. As the manger was telling me that she would remake the sandwich for me if I wished, which I agreed the "owner" rushed out from the back and rudely said, "what bagel do you want!?" I said, "Excuse me?" and she just rushed back into the room. The cashier, manager and I just stood there for a second silent. The cashier then told the manager that she should not allow the "owner" to speak to her like that. I just looked at the manager and said, "Is that the owner?" and she replied, "Yes". So, I just asked for a refund, which the manager provided me with (a full one, too). Before I left I apologized to the cashier and manager for having to work with someone who was so miserable, disrespectful and unprofessional. They graciously smiled and said, "thank you". We will not be returning there ever again because of that owner. Also, you could tell the entire basket of poppy seed bagels were raw. They were all flat, discolored and sponge-like but the owner still chose to keep them out even after she saw mine.... very poor ownership and management.

Not bad. It's your typical Bagel Factory with decent breakfast bagel sandwiches. My bacon, egg, and cheese on asaigo was solid and service was friendly. Seating was also clean and not as cramped as at the Wayne location. It's on a side road off of Lancaster Ave so you might miss it if you're not actually looking for it, though.

The service is seriously AWFUL. I have been here 10+ times, and unless you're just getting a dozen bagels, plan on waiting at least 20 min for just a bagel w CC or egg and cheese.

Stopped by for an egg and cheese bagel sandwich on an everything bagel. Made myself a coffee with milk and sugar. Unfortunately, the milk had curdled and the coffee was dumped. The coffee station seemed a bit messier than most. The bagel sandwich was OK.

The bagels are good (especially their cinnamon-raisin bagel) but when you order food, always double check it. Every time we order lunch from there they forget something. And yet when we check it before we leave, they get defensive. Poor service, but when you need a bagel, you need a bagel.
