Ordered from Misto, since the Yelp scores were pretty high. Yelp did not let me down. We received a fast delivery of piping hot food. With an assortment of eggrolls, spring rolls, wonton soup, garlic shrimp and chicken and broccoli. The pork fried rice was delicious and I was glad to see the brown rice availability. Everything was very good, and was one of the better chinese food I had in a while. The garlic shrimp was the perfect amount of spicy. Will order again. They were able to take credit card and tips over the phone for delivery so it was very easy to order from here

N.B.: Dynasty 3 has recently and puzzlingly been renamed "Misto Diner" (whatever that means), and Yelp hasn't caught wind of this. Look for a purple, barely legible sign that says "Misto Diner." Given the surrounding area, one can assume that nobody's coming here for an authentic, mind-blowing Chinese experience. That noted, Misto serves its purpose well. It functions as the go-to, neighborhood Americanized Chinese joint, with a very friendly staff. A cursory glance at the menu reveals all the classic American Chinese staples: Egg Foo Young, General Tso's Chicken, various meats in garlic sauce, and the like. All of these dishes are competently prepared with ingredients of a decent quality, though the cooks tend to oversalt things a bit. Despite some flaws I consider Misto's food the best Chinese in Bensalem. Misto also has some of the highest prices. Although the quality of the food is laudable and consistent, the prices are steep ($10-12 for a dinner combo). Grab lunch there if you can, as you pay $6-7 for a combo meal that's essentially a dinner portion. Misto Diner serves its purpose and caters to its market well. I've been eating here for years, which speaks equally to the decent food quality and convenient location. Stick to lunch specials to avoid heavy spending, though.

I think this is a nice local place. Not where you will get authentic dishes but they are tasty anyway. It is great service and nice people who own this establishment. I am a regular and I feel they meet all my needs. Also I love that it's very clean. All in all they have a great selection, flavorful food, above average service, nice atmosphere, good affordable prices and reliable service. I'd recommend it! Also lol I just ordered from them a few minutes ago! Yum yum I'm ready to eat!

Wow ohh wow was I shocked with what happened at lunch today. I ordered food for pickup and when I got home with it realized that it was not what I ordered I then called to let them know I didn't get the right order so they said we'll call you right back I got a phone call from them and got told off saying it was my fault I ordered the wrong food and talking to me like I have never seen a employee speak to a customer like this ever! I called back to speak to the owner and was told he's not here and was told the man that talked to me speaks to everyone like that then few seconds later I hear I'll get the owner real quick so they lied to cover up so the owner wouldn't find out! All in all the food I did get had shrimp the size of a dime not worth it!!

When you're down in Bensalem around Neshaminy Mall, finding a good Chinese/Sushi restaurant can be a challenge. The AMC 24 is a nice place to watch a movie, but the "dinner and" part of that is limited in the immediate vicinity unless you like highway-style fast/casual food. Then there is Misto Diner, which I found courtesy of Yelp. As other reviewers said, the location on this site is off by about a mile. It is further down Neshaminy Blvd after passing Bristol Road if coming from the rear of NM, in a small strip mall anchored by 7-11. Keep going. You will get there. It is worth the search, as the quality of the room and cuisine are considerably above the standard Chinese American shop. White table clothes and red cloth napkins are a nice touch suggesting a bit of quality control in the product. The owner family is present and in charge. They bring care and pride to the effort. Although I did not ask, our server seemed to be the father. He had a Jackie Chan appearance; friendly, engaged, and humorous. His bifocals tried to hide his bemused visage as we asked questions about the menu and the history of the joint. We settled on Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, and Shredded Pork Mei Fun. The soup was a rich, thick, spicy mix. We added a spoonful of Chili Oil to bring out more of the hot richness. It was a nice improvement to an already good bowl of soup. The Chicken dish was off menu as we asked for garlic sauce as opposed to the Hunan style base. The meat was tender and very tasty. The broccoli cut into small enough sprigs and excellently cooked. The mei fun was also good, but not at the same level as the other dishes. To be clear, Misto Diner is still a traditional Chinese American restaurant found in most suburban areas, but it is a very good one. It should not be mistaken for an authentic Chinese restaurant found in more heavily Chinese populated parts of the region. But, if you find yourself in this neck of the woods this is a very good choice. Too, they have no problem giving you an extra pot of tea if you want to wait there for your movie time.

The staff is very friendly. They seem like they appreciate their customers. There is a nice dining room with pleasant piped in music. The food I've gotten there is consistently good. The last order was shrimp egg foo young, a bento box type meal with spare ribs, breaded chicken & fried rice and Singapore mei fun. The egg foo young was very good. The sauce was light and a little spicy. It tasted of ginger, lime and had lots of yummy scallions. The egg was light and fluffy and was loaded with meat and onion. Both the white and fried rice were delicious. The mei fun was good...although I prefer the variations that aren't made with curry as this one was. The ribs could've been just a tad more tender and the breading on the chicken a little less. However, all of the meats tasted very fresh. The spring rolls..fresh, crispy deliciousness. They've earned one more repeat cusyomer

Ordered take out tonight for mom, dad and myself. Everything I ordered was delicious. From the big and moist on the inside eggrolls to the sweet and sour shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly battered. The vegetable fried rice was perfect as was the shredded Pork Mei Fun. The interior of the establishment looks really upscale. Must make a point to have a meal in there. Really this is a 41/2 restaurant.

The pin placement on Google maps is highly deceiving, but once I finally found the place, I was delighted with what was in store! I ordered hot and sour soup and a chicken w/ broccoli lunch special. The hot and sour soup was incredibly delicious! The sesame oil is an odd touch that threw me off when I opened the lid, but it tasted really good. I ate the whole thing and hardly had room for the meal. Chicken w/ broccoli was better than the norm, but pretty standard. Fried rice was very fresh and not greasy. Only had a bite of the spring roll but it was quite good. I will definitely add this place to my lunch rotation. Lunch special prices are practically criminal for the high quality you get. Plus, it's not served in styrofoam! Bonus points for that.

Oh my lord! This place just delivered my family uncooked pork in the lomien. I call them up, they said sometimes we make mistakes. I say refund my money, they say we don't do that. I say I'm calling board of health department Monday morning. She says do what you want, we don't care. They are way higher priced then the others also. Eat at your own risk!

Do not eat here, I repeat do not eat here. My wife and I both got violently ill after eating here. Food was good however not worth the painful vomiting that ensured. Stay away! Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away

Love love love. I got takeout from this restaurant for the first time today (10/14/2012) and it was beyond my expectations. The shopping center it is in is really tiny, so I wasn't expecting much. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, pork fried rice and an egg roll and I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken tasted fresh, it was crispy and wasn't drowning in sauce. The rice was fluffy and the egg roll was crispy and flaky. Overall, my dinner was FAR beyond my expectations of this tiny restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend If you are looking for the restaurant, it is located next to the Ark registration office in the shopping center with the 7-11 and The Valley pizza restaurant.

Unfortunately, I think I'm done coming here after years of this being my local go-to restaurant for chinese food. The sushi is still good, but their preparation and quality of chinese food has gone down considerably. Last time I was there I went with two of the most basic Chinese-American dishes around - Moo shu pork and Sesame Chicken. The chicken lacked any flavor, the coating was a strange pale-yellow color, and the pieces were sloppily cut into chunks that varied from small bites to long chicken tender-sized pieces. The moo shu dishes have a growing proportion of vegetables to protein (a sign they are cutting corners to save money). Just an overall very poor meal. I have been a fan and regular customer for quite a while, but it's been over a year since I can say I've had consistently good food come out of this restaurant. So long Misto.

Misto Diner, we love you. This is a family-run business, and at the top is May--she and everyone else are so incredibly friendly. We were sketchy when we tried this place almost a year ago (there were no reviews then, and it's easy to drive past), but everything we've ever had has been amazing and fresh. Often, we order delivery--we're told it'll take the usual 30-45 minutes, but it always comes 10-15 minutes later (we live close, so this might vary). Even with this glorious speed, everything is so freshly made, perfectly cooked, and delicious. My husband and I want everyone to know that Misto Diner is where it's at. We've tried just about all of the other Chinese cuisine in the area, and we haven't found anything that comes near Misto's quality. (We haven't tried the sushi, but surely it's just as good.) Our favorites: the house special pan fried noodles, all of the various fried rices, boneless spare ribs, teriyaki beef sticks, the omelets, chicken with peanuts, pepper steak, fried shrimp... everything. I especially love their chicken dishes because they're cut into narrow strips, clean of fat and other nasty things, and perfectly cooked. This includes the chicken rice soup. To make sure I don't forget--get soup! It comes with home made crunchy rice noodles and they are ridonkulous. I would pay to have those for the rest of my life. This place is affordable, provides tons of food for the price, and just so, so good. Do yourself a favor and try it.

I'm only able to comment on takeout, but plan to eat in at some point. Pros: Looks clean, nice people, tasty food. Coins: A big pricier/smaller portions than other Japanese/Chinese places in the area. Still, super convenient because I live a few blocks away.

Holy crap. While spending $1.75 on an eggroll might seem expensive, I say it's worth it here. My co-workers order from this place constantly. The first time I ordered something, I got the lunch special. It was chicken fingers (made in the style of sweet n sour chicken), beef teriyaki and fried rice. It came with soup. Everything was delicious and not greasy at all. Very good. The second time they ordered from work, I almost got the same lunch item and a sushi roll, but I am trying to cut back on ordering out at work so I only got the eggroll. Well holy mother of God. That was the biggest, most oversized eggroll I've ever seen. And it was heaven on earth. VERY VERY good. This is a go to place, even if you don't work in the area.

It's the best chinese food in the area. I even think its the best in the entire philly area besides china town. The sesame chicken and general's is delicious. The prices are higher, but worth it for the food.

I go here all the time! This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant. They have the best vegetable fried rice. I've enjoyed everything I've tried off the menu. When people come to visit me, this is where I take them. The people are very friendly and the service is great. I tell everyone I know about this place.

Very good food and friendly service!! Highly recommend it if you like Chinese food! It's a bit difficult to find as the Yelp map has this near Bristol Rd but its much farther down Neshaminy Blvd next to a 7-eleven and Valley Pizza. Best Chinese I've had in the area!

i should have known better. a chinese restaurant that also serves sushi and bento boxes. with so many items available on their menu, i should have known corners were going to be cut. i tried to tip the scales in their favor and ordered an item from their "specialty" list and one from the regular side of the menu. the house crispy pan fried noodles are a oil soaked mess and far more soggy than crispy. the stir fry that came with it is in the same sauce as their ginger chicken with string beans. i think everything must come in that same gravy sauce. the chicken with green beans should be labeled green beans with a little chicken. $26 for two dishes that my very uncoordinated newborn son could cook better. this place is a complete rip off and serves up really bad chinese food. really bad. like panda express is gourmet compared to this stuff.

Stopped by for lunch here the other day. Its been awhile since I was last here. Lunch prices were reasonable. Food was good, though the piece of chicken wing still had some feathers on it. Just eat around that part lol. Place is clean, with a friendly staff. I have had the sushi before, but nothing special about it. Place was empty when I went. Had a few people order take out, but then again it was quite past lunch time and the dinner crowd was not yet ready. Go to Chinatown if you can, if not give this place a try just 1 time. Happy Eatings!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
