This place is a gem in Bedford. Delicious food, reasonably priced, a locally owned and operated non chain. I enjoyed the burritos. Atmosphere is what you would expect of a fast casual ethnic restaurant and the service and value was extraordinary great place for a quick business lunch or feeding the office staff!!!

Stopped here on the way out to Donegal, PA. They had good reviews, and with good reason! It's in a little strip plaza, larger than it looks from the outside. The place was dead on a Friday at lunch. There was complimentary chips and salsa for the table. I added some hot sauce to it, as it wasn't as spicy as I like. I ordered the chicken fajita lunch and my boyfriend had the chimichanga lunch I believe. The fajitas were so well seasoned, came out hot with veggies, beans, this rice that went down like butter, a little guac, sour cream and lettuce. YUM. The service was good, and not overbearing. The woman I believed to be the owner even stepped in at one point while our server was in the back because she'd noticed that my boyfriend was finished with his meal.

We have a lot of "cute" restaurants in Bedford--kitchy, clean, modestly decorated establishments with equally humble employees. This is absolutely one of them. The place was made to make you feel like you're in Mexico with fake walls and roofs. Overdone? Possibly. Let's get to the food--it's your average northern U.S. Mexican food. Maybe there is some ungodly good authentic Mexican food somewhere north of Texas but Bowling For Soup hasn't found it and neither have I. The chips and salsa are fine, although the salsa tastes like store brand salsa and you have to pour it yourself from a (sanity, albeit) jar covered in saran wrap. The portions are enormous--my veggie fajitas included a pan of freshly cooked veggies; a plate of refried beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo; and two little tortillas. TWO? I would like to see how anyone could fit half of that in two tortillas, much less all of it. BYOB is nice, especially since they offer margaritas that you can add your own liquor to, but it seems to ruin the fun of ordering margaritas, especially when you can go to Salsa's for that. It's not a bad choice, but it's not outstanding, either. A-OK, indeed.

Stopped here with the boyfriend last night for dinner. Service was wonderful. Meal was pretty good, but nothing special. My fajita was sort of greasy. Salsa was super sweet. Overall, just fine. Have definitely had much better Mexican food in my life!

I cannot believe this place has not been reviewed on Yelp yet!! My co-workers and I came here on a Thursday night in search of a new dining option in the Bedford area. This place is a little way away from the area where the hotels are in Bedford and also outside of the downtown, but I think it was worth the short drive. This place was not busy at all (once again, another locally owned restaurant that I think people in the area should support) and we had no trouble getting a table for our party of six. Ok - pause here for one key thing I need to remember to mention: This restaurant is BYOB so don't forget to pick up some corona on the way!! Although it is in a strip mall, I thought it had great atmosphere and was tastefully decorated. Is it fancy - definitely not, but after walking in here I wasn't scared to eat (which I have heard the same can't be said for another Mexican restaurant in the area). While we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, the brought over lots of chips, salsa and a beef/cheese mixture which was delicious (I almost ate so much of the free starter that I didn't have room for my meal). I ordered the fajita quesadilla (chicken quesadilla) and it was delicious. I was also quite envious of the fajitas one of my co workers ordered so I think I will be getting those on my next trip to Aztecas. And, to top it all off, the bill was so cheap!! This is definitely somewhere I will be back to when in Bedford.

As far as Mexican restaurants go this place is not to shabby. The portions are giant, and the food quality is really good as well. I had the Pork Carnitas on my visit, and found the pork to be delicious, and full of flavor. Another great menu choice would have to be the Guadalajara Special which has a little bit of everything, and for just under 10 bucks serves as about two meals. Overall a good Mexican joint on the historic Lincoln highway.

My man loves Mexican food. And this place did not disappoint. I had chicken fajitas he had a burrito. Both of the dishes were extremely flavorful. The complimentary chips and salsa were good also. And. You can BYOB which is a nice option. The service was stellar also.

Disappointed in this place especially after reading several good reviews. This is your typical quick service, low food quality restaurant. Enchiladas, tacos, burritos, etc all "meh." Not awful, but not fresh or tasty. Service was very good and restaurant atmosphere is decent.

I went here for the first time last week when I was visiting my parents for the weekend. The staff was very courteous and the food was delicious. When we asked them to make the food spicy, they knew exactly what we wanted. They added extra spice to it, without losing the taste. I definitely recommend the Chicken Fajitas and the Chicken Burritos. The meat is cooked perfectly and very juicy. Remember to bring your own beer, as it is a BYOB. Definitely a must if you're in the area.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
