My wife and I have been there a few times. Food and service were great. I had the "three little pigs" and enjoyed it very much. Their pulled pork was very good. Wife had pasta and it was very good (forget what it was). Place is Byob.

The service was very good! I'm not sure if our waiter was in training but it seems that we had two servers for the evening. They explained that everything is made fresh and nothing is ever frozen so that sounded like it would be very good. I had the risotto and it was very good, I like garlic so I didn't mind that I chewed into a couple very large pieces of garlic however some people may not have appreciated it has much! My husband was hoping to have the special they had posted on their website of fried catfish, however when we got there they said there was no specials that day so he had the seafood fried platter instead. It looked very good and it had a nice crunch to it but he was disappointed he couldn't have the special we had actually gone there for. The appetizer of homemade potato chips and dip was excellent. They told us they had bread service so we opted to get the bread, it looked good but when we tried to bite into the bread it was very very stale! I suggest to them to throw the bread in the toaster oven for five minutes and serve it at least tasting a bit more fresh! I would consider trying it again, but I won't claim that it would become one of my regular stops.

We were searching for a farm to table restaurant using local ingredients while traveling through Ohio and western without much success. Then we read about Heirloom and made a detour off 76 / 376 and are thrilled we did! Though we arrived mid afternoon, we were greeted warmly by the owner, Rich, and we had a terrific lunch. I had the build-your-own lunch size pasta (I chose penne for my pasta type, garlic olive oil for my sauce choice, and added roasted tomatoes, local mushrooms and 2 types of kale)- price was $10! Awesome. Pasta was cooked right- al dente- and veggies were fresh and delicious. My husband had the stuffed poblano pepper sandwich and beer cheese soup. The peppers, from the chefs garden, were super fresh, seasoning was unique and spot-on. Beer cheese soup was devoured seemingly in one big gulp! If you are anywhere nearby, we'd definitely recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. Clean, friendly and attentive service, quiet ambience, great, sustainable food at reasonable prices! In this area it's a rare gem! We didn't have time to spend in this charming town, but there were several intriguing gift shops and a kolache bakery that caught our eye. It would be a great "day trip" destination from Pittsburg and other surrounding communities.

Visiting the area from Northern Virginia and had the great pleasure to try this fine restaurant. Nestled in an older building but completely redone and modern on the inside, with a very warm and cozy atmosphere. We ordered the pork belly crostini and loaded fries as appetizers, both of which were excellent. The loaded fries are spiral cut whole potatoes and more than enough for four people. Chef Rich visited our table and asked us how we liked everything so far and upon returning to the kitchen sent out the Pork Sundae for us to try and it was Fantastic! The pulled pork was tender, slightly smoky, drizzled with the house barbecue sauce, sublime. The waitress brought us roasted garlic infused olive oil with balsamic reduction droplets in it and some bread to dip. We ordered the Mako steak, Chicken Romano, Chicken Marsala, and I had the Donn, which was penne with a fresh, spicy Italian sausage dish which was melt in your mouth good with just the right amount of heat and sweet/tartness from the tomato sauce. If you have chance I highly recommend Heirloom. This restaurant is on par with many, more expensive and exclusive restaurants and at a very reasonable price.

Well, I've already returned to Heirloom. My first experience was so good, I went back by myself today for lunch. After I ordered a cup of coffee & the crabcake app to start, I did what I always do, checked in with Yelp. Much to my surprise, there was a $25 gift certificate for $20 available through Yelp. I quickly purchased it and used it while there with my cell. Coffe was good, bonus, raw sugar. By my 1st refill on the joe, I had ordered my main course & received my appetizer. The crabcake featured an amazing remoulade with fried capers. Normally, capers are a turnoff for me, but when they're fried, they're totally different. Very tasty in the sauce. For my entree, I went with Gnocchi. A yummy homemade potato pasta in a roasted red pepper marscapone cream sauce. Top notch as well! I wish I hadn't been full because I really wanted to try the desert. It was a pumpkin creme brulee... I guess there's always next time... Bon Appetit

Very good I was impressed, stuffed banana peppers were excellent!! Balsamic glazed salmon very good, the mashed potatoes were out of this world. Guacamole was very good and the roasted red pepper sauce was very good. Definitely worth trying!!

If you appreciate fresh, local, organic, chef inspired food this is a must visit. We started with a butternut squash soup that my wife absolutely loved and I had a ceaser salad. Bread service was available and we elected. The bread was served with an awesome aged balsamic that my wife may have wanted to drink a bottle of. We had the shrimp risotto with scallops and pulled pork nachos that were heavenly. I encourage you, since your reading this review, you can not go wrong at this restaurant.

It was ok. Not bad, but nothing special. It was my second time there. The first time was really bad but I thought I'd give it another try because every place has a bad night now and then. This time was better than the first but I doubt that I'll be there a third time. We had the home made chips as an appetizer. They tasted fine but they were cold. I was surprised because I've always had home made chips that were hot, or at least warm when I order them at restaurants. When I asked about the temperature, I was told that they were made ahead and kept in a bin. It's how the owner/chef did them at PNC Park when he was the chef there, and that's how he does them at the restaurant. Ok, whatever, but they were cold and unappetizing. For my entree I ordered the crab and shrimp risotto. Once again, it was ok, but lacking in flavor, the shrimp were over cooked, I could hardly find any crab, and the rice was mushy. My wife had a chicken and pasta dish that wasn't any better. They chicken looked white with no color, very bland looking and no taste at all. The basket of rolls (my guess would be Breakworks) was nice with a very tasty olive oil that had some balsamic vinegar through it. I enjyed the bread with the olive oil a lot, but it would have been better if the bread wasn't cold. I'm not talking room temperature here, I'm saying out of the refrigerator cold. One other issue that doesn't have to do with the food is the chairs are SO uncomfortable. They are the same chairs that were there when it was Levante's. Maybe they kept them so people wouldn't stay too long. I was so uncomforatble that we opted to leave and have dessert somewhere else.

Service was sooooo slow and food was average. We are locals and love supporting local restaurants, but will not return. We used a living social groupon and our server told me that she suspected that we would be. I guess that explains why our table wasn't offered any fresh bread and our drinks weren't refilled until our food was served 45 mins after we ordered. With two small children, the wait was terrible. We had to eat very quickly and then request a check and to-go boxes. Total time in restaurant was almost 2 hours for a burger and some pasta. That's truly unacceptable.

Heirloom used to be Levanti's, which suffered its demise after Chef Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. This place is no longer a nightmare, but the carpet hails from those sordid times. First impressions are important, and this filthy carpet makes me want to clean my shoes before I get back in my car. The tables are painted with thick gloss, so the waitstaff can spray clean with disinfectant between customers, not fine dining, more diner technique. Our waitress, although sweet, was a bundle of nerves. I think she may never have eaten in a place this nice. The salmon crostini appetizer was devoid of flavor. Perfect for someone who doesn't eat seafood. (Our waitress did not, she told us.) (She was pleasant, but in need of training. The menu is very limited, and she didn't know it.) The buffalo chicken salad was more fried potato salad. The waitress forgot the dressing, "I didn't know your food came out." Uninspired. Now the Cioppino seafood stew was worth the price. Different fish all cooked together well with just the right amount of seasoning. Espresso creme brûlée was very good. This place is ok at best. It was pleasant.

My wife and I visited on New Year's Eve and now we love Heirloom! We enjoyed a wonderful crab cake to start followed by a bowl of butternut squash soup and caeser salad, then finished with the twin filets which were out of this world. Farm raised beef truly does have a unique and extraordinary flavor! I would certainly recommend Heirloom for a fine dining experience that is close to home.

While I had heard vastly differing critiques of Heirloom- from awesome to awful- after my first visit, I have to side with the latter. Granted, my experience may be unusual: the air conditioning at the restaurant had broken on the same day that their kitchen hoods had a meltdown. When we entered on a ridiculously muggy day, it was 10-15 degrees warmer than on the street. Even the hosts at the entrance were fanning themselves as they awaited new arrivals. The one ingratiating part was the friendly and patient male server, who apologized profusely for the situation and was very attentive throughout the meal. The house chips were average at best, and the sour cream and scallion dip was decent. The bacon crostini was delicious, but at $10 for a few slices of bacon and some cucumber, I would steer clear. I ordered an entrée special- fresh wahoo on ramen with lemongrass broth. Regardless of how 'fresh' the wahoo once was, it was was absurdly overdone, and remained unenticingly dry--even in a soup. The ramen was spot-on in texture, but lacked even a hint of lemongrass, and instead reminded me of watered down Swansons chicken broth. Prices are far too high for the mediocre quality. Any establishment looking for notoriety would have offered a dessert or app on the house, due to the unbearable lack of air conditioning. Instead, they overcharged us by billing a corkage fee to a guest who explicitly requested no glass. Maybe the location is cursed, but this quaint corner property in Beaver certainly has a knack for horrible food. Absolutely terrible in all regards. Two stars is a gift.

The Heirloom Restaurant location has had many names. My partner and I had dinner (1st time) and really enjoyed the restaurant. The salmon with strawberries was flaky and tender with a sweet/sour glaze. The BQ ribs were hot, nicely smoked and fell off the bones. Salads plentiful and unique. Rolls were cold, but with a delicious dipping oil. Peach bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream was a perfect ending. Our waiter Toby was efficient, knowledgeable and is a good representation of the restaurant. I agree with a previous reviewer; nice buildout of the space, but the carpet is pretty nasty. We will definitely return.

Enjoyed a nice quiet lunch. Buffalo burger sliders with homemade potato chips. Just enough for lunch. Pleasant greeter and waitress. Reasonably priced. Good iced tea as well.

We recently ate at Heirloom in Beaver. I typically do not think of going into Beaver to eat. We normally go the opposite direction towards Robinson. However, we had a gift certificate and did not want it to expire. We were pleasantly surprised. I felt like we received an upscale meal and the prices were not too outrageous. The waiter was very nice and efficient. While I could use the gift certificate for the meal and tip, the waiter could not give us the remaining amount in cash. Maybe that is typical but what was I going to do with $6 left on the certificate. I ended up just giving the waiter a super large tip!

Ate here on Saturday night a couple weeks ago after waiting and waiting to be seated at Mario's. Was so pleasantly surprised by the food and service. We explained to the waiter that we were in a hurry to get to the Beaver play (which was excellent, btw), and he made sure our food was rushed. I ordered the bison burger sliders, which came with sweet pickled banana peppers. So delicious, so not Beaver County. My son said the flatbread was very good, as good as anything at Mario's. The only drawback is the cheap Chef Ramsey decor. Maybe success will bring some upgrades?

We stopped in here with my in-laws while trying to find somewhere new to try. The atmosphere is pleasant and warm, very cozy! We ordered the soft pretzel sticks as an appetizer, and they were wonderful. Warm, soft, served with a spicy mustard and an amazing beer cheese. We were also given a large plate of dinner breads with a tasty oil and vinegar reduction for dipping. We ordered the grilled cheese and fries for my four year old, and they were quick to bring this out for him to keep him placated. Others ordered a short rib special with purple carrots and Yukon gold mashed potatoes, chicken parmesan over fettuccine, pulled pork with green beans and mashed potatoes. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. The food was absolutely amazing. My salad was full of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, juicy chicken, their amazing french fries, and cheddar cheese. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the meal. Everyone else also remarked on how delicious their food was. Portion sizes were so large that we had enough to bring home for a meal the next day. I will definitely be returning here, and I encourage you to give it a try!

Went at noon during the week only 2 other tables there took 40 min for appetizer to come out and it was burnt told our waiter didn't even take off bill had the Reuben not the best at all the chips that were served with it tasted just like grease no other taste very disappointed took so long for the food and was not worth the price

My husband and I ate here on a Friday night. We liked the atmosphere. I ordered heirloom pasta, our server suggested adding bacon, a modest $1 up charge. The food took a long time coming out, about 45 min to an hour. The pasta was not bad (not very flavorful) but the bacon was missing, so I mentioned it. I had not one, but TWO people tell me I must be mistaken, and BOTH of them visually inspected my dish to check for said bacon. I went from mildly disappointed to very insulted. No plans to return.

My husband and I went to Heirloom this evening for dinner. We both had the Wedge Salad.his had blu cheese crumbles and dressing. Mine was with the ranch dressing. The bacon pieces add a nice flavor to the salad. I had the Chicken Parm with penne pasta. Very tastey and the sauce was excellent . My husband had the Fried Cod with fries. One of his favorite dinners on their menu. No dessert for us tonight as we were both too full. I would have to say this is the best place in Beaver to eat.

This place is fantastic. It is BYOB so bring your favorite bottle of wine or better yet, get a wine locker like I did and keep it there! Creative menu and wonderful owners who truly care about your experience. Great attention to detail. Nice atmosphere! Try it!

The food is excellent. We were here for New Year's Eve, and they seemed to have been a little ambitious with their menu. The kitchen was considerably behind, and the server was stressed but very nice. That being said, the for was FANTASTIC. The mini cornbreads were slightly different from the usual, extremely tasty and soft. Pretzels and beer cheese were tasty. The salads were good and fresh. But the star was the entree course. It took 2 hours to get our entrees, but they were served hot. The braised short ribs were tender, cooked perfectly, and quite tasty. The lobster tail was awesome, and even was served fluffed in the shell. I'm not usually a fan of chicken, but the champagne and butter chicken may have been my favorite dish of the night. I hope next major holiday they pare down the menu to a slightly less ambitious one, because they have a lot of talent in the kitchen.

Great place in the town of Beaver. We started with the cheese board with the wine we brought. I had the salmon special which was great. Other people had pasta, crab cakes all was good. Food is good, service is good. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

I found out about Heirloom only yesterday after trying to uncover new eateries in this part of Pennsylvania when I knew that Kay and I would be in the area over the weekend. Craving barbeque, we were disappointed to find that our first choice, New Brighton's Pigs-2-Peaches, was closed temporarily (according to a sign, the owners are still on vacation), but when I saw pork belly and other such porcine offerings on Heirloom's internet menu, a quick decision was made to head to Beaver for what we hoped would be a satisfying dinner. While not at a utter failure, much of our meal was simply lacking in culinary verve. I left feeling cheated, especially after having studied the bill of fare closely that I basically knew what I wanted to order before we arrived. The restaurant's name, Heirloom, conjures an opulently gourmet sense of tradition yet features fare that is squarely New American with an Italian influence despite the restaurant's claim that their cuisine is "Modern European." Here, crabcakes, burgers, and tacos co-exist with Chicken Marsala, linguine, and penne. The tapas were so intriguing and reasonably priced (along with everything else on the card) that we ordered 2 of them: Crab Tostadas and the Kitchen Chips. The tostadas (there are 3 per order) were only acceptably appetizing and consisted of disc-shaped tortilla chips that were topped with lump crab meat, avocado slices, lime, cilantro, and diced tomato. Poorly constructed, an initial chomp resulted in the bulk of one chip ending up on the carpet. Fortunately, the crabmeat and avocado landed on my plate and were scooped up with a potato chip. Nonetheless, I kept pining for Old Bay, a citrus, or some other such essence to make the dish friskier (riskier?). Even the cilantro was a timid bystander. The potato chips, called Kitchen Chips by Heirloom, were the surprising highpoint of the meal. Served in a titanic portion fit for a bar full of Steelers fans during an important game (only $5!), the thick (another surprise), cast iron-crisp tater slivers themselves were dusted with an interesting mystery seasoning that included perhaps celery salt (?) and onion powder (so swears the lady), but even this small plate had a downside in the roasted shallot sour cream dip. As a chip 'n dip addict since boyhood, I can candidly say that I've had much better dips that were storebought and originated from local dairies. The roasted shallots added some mild sweetness, but aside from that, all flavor was absent. Even the sour cream itself was without a single twanging note. I'm curious to know if the sour cream Heirloom uses is made in-house or purchased elsewhere, because what we were served was almost dead. Just a pinch of kosher salt or a splash of lime juice might've helped. My "3 Little Pigs" entree was a letdown as soon as plate touched table. On the menu, it states that a portion includes pork belly along with baby back ribs and pulled pork, but I was given strips of bacon instead of pork belly with no explanation! Now, the bacon was very good as were the properly fragile ribs, which got better as I munched along, revealing ample smoke ring and fatty flavor, yet despite the promise that the pork was smoked on the premises, I tasted almost none of that in any of the proteins, including the pulled pork, which while assertively seasoned, was a bit watery, as if it had been sitting in a crock pot for a bit prior to service. A rich, molasses-sweet, and pomegranate-tangy barbeque sauce was drizzled artfully over the ribs and pulled pork. A golden mound of close to perfect mashed potatoes was the lone side dish, and that brings me to another gripe I have: There was no vegetable to accompany my meal! A small house salad was all I needed. I s'pose I shoulda shelled out $4 for another good menu read (everything pretty much read better than it tasted) in the wedge salad. Dessert for me was a peculiar twist on German Chocolate Cake. Longing for a hefty wedge of fudgy excess, I was instead given something that was more like a small loaf of zucchini or banana nut bread infused with coconut shavings and cocoa powder and frosted with that trademark yellow pecan-pebbled glaze (it would go well with pancakes). While somewhat dry, this would not be an entirely unwelcome ending to a light brunch, but if you're looking for a spectacular finale to your supper, move along. The service was admissible, even if it took our server a while to get around to boxing up our leftovers. To boot, the soft drinks were watery and weren't properly effervescent. Furthermore, for a restaurant that prides itself on being contemporary, the dim lighting and the sparse brown decor gave the place a vaguely eerie vibe, like attending a funeral wake on Halloween after midnight. Heirloom needs to turn the volume up if it wants my repeat business. I.E. Season that food, brighten up the interiors, and use some culinary wit. P.S. Heirloom used to be Levanti's.

Went again tonight with group of friends. We all tried something different, even appetizers and desserts. It was excellent. Everyone was very pleased. We were impressed that the quality was not only consistent, but the desserts actually improved. And says a lot as they were excellent before. This spot is a bit out of the way, but easy to find on the Main Street in Beaver. Worth trying for certain.

Good dinner. I ordered the crabcakes which came with their daily starch and vegetables (mashed potatoes and broccoli). Crab cakes were decent. Smelled a big "seafoody" but the sauce made it. This restaurant uses local ingredients which is hard to find in Pittsburgh. I'd return.

Where do you start?! Literally. I could order everything on the menu, every visit....TWICE. All the appetizers are amazing. My bf and I will sometimes just go and order three or four apps as our meals... It's BYOB...awesome. Soups are great. Love the wedge salad. Twin Filets never let you down. The pastas are always done to perfection...and the desserts???? Awesome. Can't say anything bad and wish I could say more good. Definitely worth the visit. Also, portion sizes are pefect. I don't need a pound of pasta for $25 so I can take home the leftovers and let them go bad in the frig. A regular, perfect, portion for $15-$20 is much better! And I love that everything is clean and locally sourced. Fresh, local, and made with love. This is how real modern day restaurants are. Congrats Heirloom for helping bring Beaver County up to speed. *Side note: after reading another review on here calling the place "awful" because the air conditioner was broken and grill hoods were down? Shame on you. You give better reviews to places I wouldn't feed my dog from, and then can't be understanding of something out of their control for a place with delicious local food? Blah. Go review another crappy pizza place and leave the local mom and pop places alone.

Finally another worthy choice in Beaver! The inside hasn't changed much in appearance, but what a huge difference on what shows up on your plate! The small, appetizer plates were rather large and very delicious. We had the home-made potato chips and dip, the artisanal cheese plate (pretty good size...a def plus for you wine drinkers out there...that would be about 90% of Beaver!), and the pork belly crostini. The server took her time in describing the menu, the specials, as well as giving is time to talk while we ate the appetizers (I HATE when they bring the entree 30 seconds after bringing your appetizers). I had the special, Three Little Pigs, which was pulled pork, 1/3 rack of ribs, and pork belly all with a mashed potato side. Very, very good...the meat was smoked to perfection. Our friends had the Jerked Chicken Breast with coconut/pineapple rice (not overpowering), and the Manciata (sp?) penne pasta with crushed red peppers, smoked bacon and pancetta, and garlic confit. My bride had the Braised Short Rib and mashed. She said it was delicious! Desserts included a Pumpkin Creme Brûlée, but we were too stuffed to try it there was that much food. Nicholette, the owner, said that they have plans to make the outside windows much bigger, which we have said for years would make a huge difference. To make 5 stars they need to cozy up the interior a bit as it seems too impersonal, and open up the windows to the outside...all easily fixable, but no doubt costly. The food is fantastic and we invite all of Beaver and the surrounds to come on down and try our newest restaurant...you won't be disappointed.

Purchased a living social to try this restaurant and was very pleased with our dining experience there. My husband is pretty picky about crab cakes so we ordered the appetizer size to try them. That was a definite thumbs up; very crabby and moist served with fried capers and a mild remoulade sauce. Great start to the meal. I had the heirloom tomatoe watermelon salad an appetizer of crab tostadoes with cream cilantro. Both dishes were fresh and delicious. Hubby had the ribeye steak(a bit to rare for him) accompanied with mashed potatoes and nicely crisp broccoli. He thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. We topped it off with Tiramisu; just enough to finish the meal. The service was good for a young woman who was newer to the restaurant. Beaver is a dry town so BYOB if you'd like something with your dinner. I bought another living social offer so we can go back for another visit. There is a nice selection of shops to wander through if you're early for your reservation

First time here but I promise I will be back! I love Reuben's and I kid u not when I say this one does not disappoint. The fries are just amazing. They have a good variety of food from eclectic stuffed banana peppers to pasta dishes. Try it out! You will not regret it...

Went last night with 3 couples all from Cranberry, where there are many restaurants to choose from. We are so glad we made the trip to Heirloom in Beaver. The extensive menu impressed us all. We started with a huge cheese platter that satisfied all of us with left overs to boot! Our entrees were plentiful and scrumptious. Service was attentive, but also relaxed enough for us to socialize, take our time to enjoy your BYOB. At the end of our meal the chef/ owner came to our table to top the evening and make it a wonderful night. We will be back. They take reservations and have small rooms that can accommodate larger parties. We will be back with even more friends to share this special place.

My husband and I went here for New Years eve dinner. We had reservations for 6:30, but we never got served our entree until 9:15. Our server was in tears because of the major delay. People all around us were complaining about the wait. We understand that things happen but this was extreme!! For a fairly new and rather unheard of resturaunt I feel this was a very bad impression. That being said, the food was great!! Perfect in every way. Our server was frazzled but great as well.I do hope this problem will be resolved because Iwould hate for a place with so much potential get a bad name for a slow,( very slow)kitchen.

Amazing! Went during a slow lunch time, but the service and atmosphere was great. I got chicken tortilla soup which I normally don't care for and it was to die for! Their wedge salad is also amazingly fresh and the combinations of all the ingredients is fabulous. I'm so excited to see what is to come for their spring menu! Finally a wonderful new change to Beaver County's dining. It definitely was lower priced for the quality of the food. As an appetizer, I highly recommend the hummus. I'm already looking forward to going for dinner soon because it was so delicious. If you like higher quality food in a more casual atmosphere, this is the place to go.
