Bravo is definitely on my list for lunch in the area. After going here about a dozen times in the past 12 months, the service and the people who work there have always been very pleasant and friendly. The food is a solid good with a wide range of overstuffed pizza options available every day. My hands down favorite though is an Italian torta sandwich with chicken that is a special and not always available. Again the service has always been very friendly and appreciative of my business. It's a nice touch that there always seems to be plates of zepoli sitting on the counter for customers to sample and I'd be lying if I said anything but that I have them both before and after lunch.

Great selection of pizza by the slice. My very large meat lovers slice was heated quickly and brought to my table. Toppings were great. The dough was too 'bready' for me, not a true crust in my opinion, but still very good.

Great pizzas by the slice if you like deep dish. Always super-friendly service even when busy. For those that the crust it too "bready" you need to try some of their regular pizzas, they're delicious!!

The presentation and variety of items on display is impressive. It all looks beautiful so A+ on presentation. Each time I have seen it I find myself wondering how much food must get wasted at the end of the day to sustain this but how they run the business does not figure into my rating. I have had the pizza on a few occasions and its not bad but it is just not great either. It is difficult to be specific about what constitutes a great pizza but you know it when you taste it. For me this isn't it. I also tried the garlic knots on my most recent visit and those were really not good at all. They were very light, fluffy and brushed with a garlic oil. It tasted more like eating an oily roll than what I think of as a traditional garlic knot.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! First time AND LAST TIME customer. IT IS JUST AWFUL!!! We ordered early Friday night (about 4:45pm). Order was ready as quoted at 5:15 pm, but the food was almost inedible. The takeout service was ridiculous. There were boxes all over the kitchen - NOT MARKED. They left boxes of hot food out on the counter while looking - so long - I know they got cold. They finally found all of our boxes. We ordered Eggplant Parm Dinner (with salad and garlic knot) for $10. Eggplant was good. Spaghetti was tough - sauce was bland, acidic, sour and thick, like pure uncooked tomato paste - and otherwise tasteless. The cheese on the top was hardly mozzarella or provolone - it was definitely imitation cheese - hard and tasteless. The side salad was a joke - four little pieces of lettuce, one olive, half a cucumber slice. Ordered 48 BBQ wings for $24. BBQ sauce was good - chicken was mostly old and reused - some newly deep fried chicken mixed among the literal "garbage". 3 "small" pizzas FOR EIGHT DOLLARS $8 EACH - when I looked at them - they were the tiniest little things - and I complained - and the guy said - "well, they're personal pizza"..... for EIGHT DOLLARS. IT DOESN'T SAY "PERSONAL PIZZA"..... IT SAYS "SMALL" PIZZA. I could have gone next door to the Acme and bought Tostino's Frozen Pizzas for A DOLLAR and they would have been bigger and WOULD HAVE TASTED BETTER!!!!!! RUN FORREST RUN!!! RUN AWAY!!! Don't look back!!

Ugh! The good reviews on here must be friends with the owner. Pizza sits out for long periods of time and is not edible. Noticed a steady decline over the past 6 months and the Avondale Bravo is officially cross off my list. Don't order the Zeppoli's unless you like sugar coated dough that tastes like onions!

Stopped by quickly to pickup a slice of pizza and a Stromboli. The pizza was awful and had no flavor whatsoever. The Stromboli was pre-made and must have been purchased as a frozen product from another vendor. If you are looking for a good ole fashion pizza parlor, this is not the place. We gave it chance and now we know it's not for us. I hope this helps.

This was my first and probably last time here. I found everything about this pizza to be kinda plain. The dough while fresh was kinda just under cooked. Toppings were all canned or frozen. Nothing fresh. Where they stand out is variety. They offer a ton of combination's for your pizza. As you walk in the door you will see a row of pizza's on your left under the glass counter. Look a little closer and you'll see 3 tiers of pizzas back there, all ready to be sold 'by the slice'. I saw everything from a plain pepperoni to brushetta to buffalo chicken. Lots of choices never hurts, unless you can't decide at all. :) So not bad, not great either. Middle of the road utility pizza is where this one falls.

A classic case of where I need a half star, but I'll lean towards four here. Bravo has a tremendous selection of slices and other prepared Italian staples. After many visits though, I really enjoy stopping in here with the family. Service is always great, and on the last visit ..I opened my kids eyes to Sicilian pizza...just like how I grew up on it. As another reviewer wrote, lots of bready crust..but it works perfect on the Sicilian. Slices are always generous and plenty to choose from.

This is a high quality pizza shop. They offer plenty of pizzas for anyone's and everyone's desires. They also offer spaghetti. The service is also amazing. They care about your meal and make it so that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal.

If you want a good experience, go to the Bravo Pizza in OXFORD, PA instead. Here? Terrible food with terrible service. First of all, the dishes are left out for hours, uncovered and unprotected from flies and airborne debris. The cheese had hardened on the pizzas, and the meat was predictably hazardous. A party member ordered a salad, which was riddled with decaying lettuce and even insect holes. NOTHING is fresh. To make it worse, the service was horrendous. No one greeted us when we came in. We had to ask for service despite it clearly being a slow day and there being available workers (which appeared to be doing nothing but trundling around behind the counter). The workers looked absolutely miserable, like they loathed each other, their jobs, and possibly pizza itself. I saw not a single smile the entire 30-45 minutes I was there, despite making frequent eye contact with the workers myself. Very awkward. Not a lot of people would mind that, but they were flat-out rude, and very obviously bothered and apathetic towards our patronage. One of them even made a face when asked for a vegetarian version of a pizza, which practically made my jaw drop. Unsurprisingly, the single polite request was denied. This is a terrible establishment and thus will only produce terrible experiences. Go to the one in Oxford instead.

Surprisingly bad - even for this place. Ordered a slice. Came quicker than expected so should have known not well heated. Cheese not even soft, forget about melted. Cold, but somehow at point of almost burnt! Self serve soda machine coke so little syrup looked like iced tea & tasted horrible. Giving up on this place.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
