I'm a student at Haverford College and wanted to reward my committee for a well run event. We decided on Felicia's, to which I had never been but another member recommended. We called an hour ahead to make sure our four large pizzas would be ready and hot before our meeting. We couldn't find a menu so had to talk our way through; Tony, as many people have mentioned was opinionated and judgmental, but I appreciated his input and really didn't see a problem. We got there a few minutes before we had said we wanted to pick it up, leaving time to find the slightly out of the way store. Tony was talking with another customer and seemed very friendly, it gave the store a very homey air I appreciated. He commented that I was early and we laughed and talked about football, he made fun of my Jets and got our pizza together. It smelled wonderful and we drove to our meeting. We opened up our two cheese, one pepperoni and one pepper, mushroom, and tomato pies and got to work. I'm natively from the Bronx and hard to please when it comes to pizza, but it was really very good. Cheese was great and crust was crisp and delicious. I am a big fan and can't wait to try some of their specialty pies in the future.

Fantastic pizza. Made with love by basically one guy. A little slower than your average pizza place but all worth it. Very high quality ingredients and wood fired. What could be better.

I cannot speak to the quality of the food as I did not get a chance to try it. After searching Yelp for pizza places that deliver based on my zip code, I was excited to try Felicia's and ignored the prior comments about rude customer service. After spelling my street name multiple times, when I finally got around to saying what town I lived in, the man on the phone responded with "You got to be kidding me, we don't deliver there." I tried explaining that I live 8 minutes from the restaurant. Had the attitude been better, I would have simply volunteered to change my order to pick-up, but I was hung up on when trying to explain that I only lived 8 minutes away. There are plenty of other pizza places to choose from in this area that don't treat people so disrespectfully, so definitely avoid.

My second 5 star review on Yelp goes to the best pizza place in the greater Philadelphia region. The short story is that I live in Philadelphia, and travel past 50 pizza places to get pizza from Felicias. They are a little more expensive than the competition, but well worth it. The owner, who is celebrating the business' 20 year anniversary soon, is a great guy and hand makes each pizza. I've yet to have a negative experience with Felicias, and I recommend them to anyone who is searching for an authentic Italian pie.

Hey mangia, mangia italiano! Felicia's Pizza Kitchen, located in back of Party Land and Philly Sports Club on Lancaster Ave in Ardmore, delivers real wood fired brick oven pizza and you will be impressed. I am no pizza slouch. Programmed into my DNA is the ability to recognize and consume great pizza. Most of you who suffer from NBI syndrome (Not Born Italian) think you know great pizza but lack a key gene. This gene also causes loud arguments, eggshell emotions, crying when Sonny gets whacked on the causeway (even though you've seen the Godfather a hundred times), and the desire to drink red wine and embrace total strangers. Tony, the proprietor, complete with Italian accent, whips up a pie in about 15minutes to order. You can go with thin or thick crust and all the usual toppings plus the heretical ones like buffalo chicken, etc. Great cheese and sauce set Tony's pies apart from most others. The brick oven imparts an ever so slight wood smokiness that is sublime enough to enhance the overall taste without being notable. My only small complaint was his use of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust instead of my preferred semolina. I went with the thick crust and it had just the right level of chewiness. If you plan on eating in, be aware that the place is about 500sf, of which half is a ginormous brick oven. Consequently, it is almost a sauna. There are two rickety tables in there, but Tony will engage you in some pretty good banter and you'll be laughing and fighting the desire to croon Dean Martin songs. Have a thick skin and some good comebacks and you'll be a paisan in no time. As for the NBI problem? Have a few glasses of Chianti and listen to some Sinatra.

Really wanted to like the food based on some of the reviews but the quality of the pizza and disgusting Greek salad ("what do you want for this price?" quoting the owner when asked what was included in this salad) is enough to keep looking for an establishment that has acceptable food without a rude encounter -

I had a veggie pizza from here a while back. It was pretty good for American-style pizza, one of the better places in the area. It's tricky to find - hidden behind the main Router 30 in a car park. Took me a few minutes! I'm still looking for the perfect Italian-style pizza in the main line area and this isn't it, but it's still pretty good. Enjoy.

In this day and age, it's not normal for restaurant employees to remember the names of their customers. While dining in at Felicia's on a Friday night, Tony greeted the majority of his customers by name. Plus, the pizza was to die for. Probably the best I've had in the Ardmore area. I look forward to becoming one of the known regulars at Felicia's!

I absolutely LOVE pizza - it's my favorite food. I'm from New York, so my standards are high. I've been looking for good pizza on the Main Line ever since moving here 20 years ago, and I finally found it. Felicia's rates in my 'top 5' pizza places. Johns on Bleeker Street in New York is tops, followed closely by Marra's in South Philadelphia. Felicia's is right behind those two. It's REAL pizza, with stringly, genuine mozarella cheese, chunks of real tomato in the sauce, the crust is crispy on the bottom but still chewey. The balance of cheese vs. sauce is just right. The mushrooms are fresh, not canned, and the pieces of roasted pepper are big. If the crust had just a touch more salt, and if there were a few more pieces of roasted pepper, it would be an absolutely top contender, but that doesn't take away from it being the very best in the suburbs. Overall, it's an excellent pizza, by far the best on the Main Line, right up there with the best you'll find in South Philly - it's absolutely delicious, very satisfying in every way. As others have said, the place is very unpretentious. There are a couple of tables inside that perhaps 4 people could fit at, but the most fun is on the roof - literally. The view is only of Ardmore rooftops, but it's fun, and different from most other places. Tony is very friendly, as was the girl working as cashier/helper. I will definitely be stopping by Felicia's at least once a week for take out, and will bring a couple of cold beers the next time we eat in there.

If i could give zero star I would. The pizza should be referred to as bread. Bread covers half of the pizza. There is no cheese to speak of. Margarita have fake mozzarella and only pureed tomato. The pizza are burnt. Worst of all they're way overpriced and overrated.

  • Craig L.

Felicias is our favorite place for Pizza. I'd avoid the Margarita (No fresh Basil) , but other than that everything on the menu is fantastic. Remember to get a salad and bring a bottle of wine to the roofdeck. I can't believe I lived near Ardmore for three years before finding Felicias. Wonderful!

  • Miller W.

fast delivery. that is what they offer. i think the reason for this is their food is horrible. A margarita pizza should have ample sauce and fresh basil. What I received was a poorly cooked dough layered with an excessive amount of mozzarella and a few tomato chunks on top. No sauce. just a few random tomato chunks. It was basically white pizza with a few tomato slices.I guess there were basil pieces somewhere on there. I gave up after one piece and again lamented the scarcity of decent pizza places on the mainline. Would I order again? if desperate. really really desperate. i've been to pizzeria vetri, zavino, nomad, beddia.. this is worse than papa johns.

4.6 Stars. Hands down the best pizza in the Philadelphia suburbs. (Yes even better than Picca's and Alex;s). Owner Tony takes no shortcuts in the ingredients of this fine pizza. When ordering here, consider ordering a large pomadoro pizza. It has carmelized onions, proscuitto, and San Romano Tomatoes. The large amount of corn meal typically found on the bottom of these pizzas is used to help improve the texture of the crust and make it more "crackely". This pizza place is a true hidden diamond in the rough behind Lancaster ave. in the Party City Parking Lot, making it hard to find for newbies. Felicia's is a refreshing brick oven oasis found within a desert of mediorce main line pies.

I would travel 100mi to Ardmore for the sake of brick oven pizza! Just needed my GPS to find the SPO pie. (sausage, pepper and onion). I walked around aimlessly and dumfounded, saying to myself, "How the hell did this place close with all these great reviews?" My stomach was growling like a Wildcat for a Villanova win. My mind was set and now this was a quest to find Felicias Wood-Fired Pizza Kitchen. Because, I was not going to give in and let my hunger settle for a sandwich from a gas station. Finally, I went back to the trusty Yelpad and re-read Steve T's review and realized Felicia's was in the back. I ran down Cricket Street and started caughting the aroma of wood burning and knew I was on my way. I entered the parking lot to the right, but still no Felicia's. I started to panic, standing in the middle of a packed parking lot I began completing a 360 spin and there it was, squeezed in between two building. The joint is tiny with only two tables that are more setup for waiting than for dining. I received a friendly greeting from the counter girl and looked up at the menu which was a large blackboard. Seeing, I was having difficulties she offered a paper menu. The smell was to die for. I explained I was waiting for my nephew and asked if I could sit and crack open a Heineken Lt. She indicated, that was not a problem and I started to dig into the menu. I was dead set on the SPO pie and really breezed thought it and placed the order in anticipation my nephew would join me soon. After several minutes I walked outside with my cell and was able to talk him in. When we reentered, the pie was on the table piping hot and ready for consumption. It looked like a masterpiece. Large chunks of Italian Sausage, Green Pepper and Onion covered with a sizzling amount of Mozzetta. The crush was thin, crispy and lightly toasted with a hint of oak. I didn't have my trusty Yelpod and was unable the take pictures. Other menu items, Salads, Calzones, Strombolis, Quesadillas, Wraps, Sandwiches, Wings, Fries and Felicia's Oven Specials (Interesting names and ingredients) Food ***** WOW Service **** Owner is super friendly once he feels you out Atmosphere **** Cozy, TV, Clean, Brickoven Value **** Experience ***** Awesome pizza with an awesome owner! Support local dining!

Tony's pizza is really to die for. Fresh dough, true wood fired brick oven, oh my goodness good ingredients. When he makes it, his nutella pudding is amazing (call ahead day before and he'll whip you up a batch). Highly recommend this hidden gem in Ardmore. You won't regret it.

It was dad's turn to pick up dinner tonight and we were all in the mood for pizza so I asked him to head to Felicia's (thanks Steve T for the rec and directions!). He came back home (after getting lost, calling me, and finding his way thanks again to Steve T's directions on Yelp) with a small thin crust margherita (mozzarella slices, tomatoes, and a savory blend of herbs) with prosciutto and a small special (spinach, spinach, tomatoes, cheese blend with mozzarella and provolone - I think, and white sauce) on the thin crust. Both were delicious but I was a big fan of the special; the garlicky sauce was absolutely delicious and the crust was perfectly crispy and chewy. The crust reminds me a little of Emma's crust in Cambridge, and brough back fond memories of my beloved college pizza go-to and its paddles and wooden benches. I also loved the cheese blend (provolone is sharp but a small amount gives the pie a nice kick), which really boosted the flavor to another level. The margherita was also very good and almost rivals Taconelli's - for a much shorter wait time and easier ordering process (no dough reservations needed!). You can definitely tell that these pies are baked in a wood-burning brick oven since they have a slight smokey flavor that you can't really get from the more modern gas-powered ovens. Love it! Will definitely be getting more pizzas here in the future.

Feel free to ignore my review as I used to work here (I'm the Ben in 'Ben's Nuke'), but this place is a great lesser known pizza place around the suburban Main Line. Tony, the owner, is a really great guy... but might be hard to deal with if you'd rate yourself particularly shy or reserved. He's very outgoing and outspoken but having known him for several years, quite friendly as well. The pizza itself was always good, and sometimes great. The cheesesteaks were really tasty, and Tony made the fries himself. Recently redone and worth checking out.

It's hard to find. I walked to the address the first time, couldn't find the place and gave up. I asked around the second time, and found it. The entrance is not on Lancaster. Only access is from the parking lot in the back. The pizza is amazing, with really fresh ingredients. And the owner is super friendly. This is now my exclusive Ardmore pizza joint. If you like garlic, Felicia's Special is the one to order. Pomodoro Romano, also a top choice, has yummy, sweet caramelized onions.

Felicia's is the definition of a no muss/no fuss hidden treasure - and it's super cheap to boot! A lazy Saturday afternoon turned into "let's find a cheap BYO pizza place" and Yelp sent us to Felicia's. We circled around where we thought it was located, and then found in its back alley setting. Upon entering what looked like just a run-of-the-mill takeout joint, I was sure we had the directions wrong. We asked if this was the "BYO pizza place" and, sure enough, we were handed a wine opener and 2 styrofoam cups as we gave our order to the staff. "Feel free to sit up on the roof." So up the fire escape we went, wine in hand. I will admit, I wasn't sure what to expect up there. There wasn't much - a simple table and chairs! We opened the wine and waited for our meal. In no less than five or seven minutes, the helpful waitress brought us up a huge order of crab fries which set us back only $3 for a generous serving! Not long after that, our pizza. Oh, our pizza. We had the Felicia's special: spinach and tomatoes in a garlic sauce. Absolutely delicious. We also had the pesto pizza and the freshness of the basil was to die for. The crusts of both pies had the perfect crispness and just enough of a dusting of cornmeal for that homemade consistency. The meal was really fantastic! Even with our leftovers, we still ordered another pie to go because it was so delicious. $18 dollars later, we left full and happy and thrilled to find (and support!) such a great little spot.

One fated evening had the bf and me in Ardmore. The Yelp voices guided us to find Felicia's. And it was certainly a find. But first it requires some searching... The address lists as 18 W Lancaster Ave but for those of you not familiar with the area... Felicia's is not located on the main storefront street of Lancaster but rather in the rear of the buildings, facing the parking lot. Just call them if you are confused. Tony will be more than happy to guide you! Ambiance: This is more of a take-out joint. You are more than welcome to enjoy your meal in Tony's company at a counter or a small table for two. And if the weather is nice - you could ask if you can grab the patio seats upstairs. Service: While we waited for our pizza, Tony regaled us with his company which ranged from a discussion about our chauvinistic society to the merits of the iPad and Apple advertising. Friendly, neighborly and old-school. Gotta love it. Food: One of the best pizzas I've ever had. We split a Felicia's Special - fresh spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella with a homemade roasted garlic sauce. DAMN. I was worried at first as I prefer marinara sauce on my pizzas but this pizza made me wish that EVERY pizza came with this roasted garlic deliciousness. I can definitely see why this is his most popular pizza. I would recommend extra tomatoes if you like more of that red sauce/tomato element. The only minus I could think of is that while the dough is on point in it's texture (chewy but crispy and substantive) it could have a tad more flavor/salt. But honestly this was one of the best there ever was! Cool piece of information from Tony: Felicia's has one of two wood-burning brick ovens in Philadelphia. I think the other is Tacconelli's .. Thus attributing to it's authentic flavor. Due the environmental legislation that prevented the building of any new wood-burning ovens, all other "brick ovens" are gas powered. Drinks: Along with the usual soda suspects, Felicia's provides some homemade soda options. The root beer was the best in my opinion. This pizza is worthy of dealing with septa to get my arse out to Ardmore. That says alot. =)

This is my favorite pizza place, ever. For several months, I was coming here every other week (payday!) and I almost always ordered the portabello mushroom and roasted garlic pizza....ohmyyyygod. Invariably, I stuffed down the whole thing along with a bottle of house made lemon iced tea and, when available, I'd grab a chocolate mousse, too. The crust is delicious - chewy, crispy and I love that it's always just a tad different. The crust doesn't have much salt in it, but I like that because a salty crust plus salty toppings would just be too much. I've also had the Felicia's special, which is as delicious as the portabello mushroom pizza except with spinach instead of mushrooms. And then there was a caramelized onion and prosciutto pizza...no words to describe it. Almost too delicious. I also like to get the mozzarella sticks, but I'd recommend not ordering those for take out or delivery because they're not very good once they've cooled down. Definitely sit on the rooftop deck at least once in good weather. You'll be surprised how relaxing it is looking out over a parking lot. And be sure to have some fun with Tony - he's super friendly, very outgoing, and great for a laugh.

Felicia's is a place that makes very tasty pizza. but it is also an unexpected concert hall that shows some of the best all ages shows just outside the city. Wynne Records do a great job of maintaining the D.I.Y. aesthetic of concert promotion and put on at least one show a month in the kitchen's back room. when you think of the back room of a pizza kitchen you instantly think of a dingy room with lots of ovens, but this area is more like a comfortable living room complete with sofas and a good sized television. Since it's in Suburbia it showcases a lot of good bands from that area. but Philly bands like Red Rocket and The Hydrogen Jukebox have played shows here. and since it's all ages, it gives younger music audiences the chance to see bands that they otherwise wouldn't have easy access to. And the bands are more than happy to play for them.

I don't understand all these rave reviews. Felicia's is awful! We've ordered from them three times. Three strikes. They're off my list. Twice ordered cheesesteaks and plain steak. The first order was a cheesesteak. The insides were fine but the roll fell apart when I got it home. The second order was a pizza. I live less than 5 minutes away and it was cold by the time I got it home and the crust was BURNT. The third order was a plain steak with fried onions and a cheese steak with extra cheese. The fried onions were missing on the one and the steak wasn't chopped enough and it was crispy burnt. Gross... I'll never order there again. I only gave it any star at all because I was forced to.

This is our favorite pizza place in the area beyond a shadow of a doubt. Don't think the basic margarita is anything great but we don't care because the caramelized onion and goat's cheese pizza is absolutely to die for and a number of the other varieties we have tried are very good. Tony the owner is ever-present, friendly, and somehow manages to remember us every time, even though we order less than once a month.

Felicia's is pretty good. I was super excited to try it because I was staying on the Main Line and heard it was the best around. My first attempt to order was rebuffed. It was a Saturday night at 9 pm (prime pizza time, I thought,) and they wouldn't answer their phone. A drive-by, maybe 30 minutes later, confirmed that they were, inexplicably, closed. Their posted hours are until 11 pm, so I'm really not sure why they wouldn't make me a pizza. Anyway, a few days later, I tried again, with success. I ordered a Felicia's Special (sauteed spinach, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, provolone and romano on white garlic sauce) and found it to be okay. The most notable thing about the pizza, for me, was that its crust reminded me of Little Ceasars. Now, I haven't eaten LIttle Ceasars in a million years, but there is something so specific about the taste of their crust that I can't even articulate it. But I got it from Felicia's. So take that as you will. The ingredients in the pizza were fresh and I guess I was pretty satisfied. But if this is the best pizza on the Main Line, it's no wonder why the Main Line is not a pizza destination.

The BEST pizza. Thin crispy-chewy crust, great toppings (try the prosciutto!) and a wonderful owner. Not to be missed. Love this place. Would sit inside with the brick oven in 90 plus degree weather to eat this stuff. I say this because I have. It's that good.

Let's be up front about this: I've never actually tasted their pizza. The fact that I was never able to try them is the reason they get one star. OK, so you're head is spinning...here's the story: Me: Flying solo on a rainy evening, hungry, taking Yelper's advice on Felicia's Them (girl): Politely answering the phone, taking my order (which I made sure was over their delivery minimum), hanging up Them (some dude): Calling back 2 minutes later to bitch me out because I live in "Timbuktu", telling me I have to order MORE food, and asking me directions while constantly talking over me as I try to give them! Me: Not really digging their customer service, telling the guy he's being an asshole, and cancelling my order. True, the guy called back one minute later to apologize and offered to deliver to my house (which is maybe a 6-8 minute drive away), but by that point the damage was done. This just happened, and instead of finding another source of gastric comfort (aka dinner) I decided I had to Yelp about it. It's too bad, I heard they have good pizza.

Felicias is the best on the Main Line and even Philly for that matter. Nice wholesome ingredients with a delicious brick oven flavor. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their pizzas are simply awesome. And their staff is super charming. This is by far the best pizza on the Main Line! The brick oven flavor is fabulous!

I can't say that I have had too much pizza since moving to Ardmore but when I do I'll go to Felicia's. I have eaten there and had take out a couple of times and it has always been great. Our favorite is the barbecue chicken pizza. Small chunks of chicken, with some tangy BBQ sauce and plenty of cheese. The wood oven really gives it a great flavor and crisp crust. Tony is also a character and great to hang out and talk with while waiting for your pizzas. Highly recommend!

Ahh- the best pizza by far on the mainline! My favorite is the grilled veggie with low-fat cheese- They sure know how to make a girl who only likes string beans love veggies! Tony the owner is the best, He always knows it's me when I call to order the grilled veggies with ricotta and hot peppers and makes it extra special. I can't help but get my favorite pizza every time but my boyfriend's family gets a variety of different pies and they never disapoint. I've had the boneless buffalo chicken tenders as well and they're great.

I've been a fan of Felicia's since way back. Tony's the best, there is an awesome selection of pies, he has a great brick oven and turns out a top quality pie. Now, I am not one of those folk who care for the grease oozing out, bready crusted pies passing for pizza in Ardmore (like ... uh, Ardmore Pizza). My one, sole complaint is that Tony needs to use more salt in his dough. The crust has a nice texture but is seriously tasteless. Otherwise great stuff!

YUM, YUM, YUM Felicia's rocks. Have ordered takeout on several occasions and delicious fare everytime. I tend to custom order stuff and they happily indulged my whims. The owner is hysterical and I just can't praise this establishment enough. A once in awhile treat is their creme fraiche, goat cheese with carmelized onions & prosciutto pizza. So heavenly..

I don't get it. This is the worst pizza I've had since moving to the burbs. The crust is bland and tasteless with way too much cornmeal stuck to the bottom. Traditional brick oven pizza crusts are supposed to be thin because of the high temperatures and quick cooking times. This was a bready, Domino's like crust. Terrible!

Fantastic pizza and I have been meaning to try the sandwiches. Brick oven pizza is the best, my fav is the Felicia's Special. Only reason this place doesn't get five stars is because its hard to find and lack of seating. Definitely worth the take out.

amazing pizza. felicia specialty pie with the garlic sauce is nuts. caramalized onions are sweet. just know that going in. The guy I met there was hilarious, personable and made fun of me in a good way. damon dont give one star to this place if you havent had their pizza!!! and just because the guy had one bad conversation with you you called him an a hole and then he still called back to apologize. oh my gosh dont take it out on a place if your grumpy. sorry for the preachyness but had to say something

Ignore any ratings below a 5 - this IS the tiny hole-in-the-wall, fantastic find that any Yelper should be thrilled to go to...Yes, there is no ambiance (you should order take-out), yes they probably have surly delivery drivers and yes, it takes a bit of patience to find the entrance (look around back) but if you're a foodie looking for pizza in the state of pennsylvania or frankly anywhere in the northeast (yes, it's that good), this is your place!

It's too bad, I heard they have good pizza.

amazing pizza. felicia specialty pie with the garlic sauce is nuts. caramalized onions are sweet. just know that going in.

Fantastic pizza and I have been meaning to try the sandwiches. Brick oven pizza is the best, my fav is the Felicia's Special. Only reason this place doesn't get five stars is because its hard to find and lack of seating. Definitely worth the take out.

Enjoy.

Being introduced to a restaurant that bears my name was a somewhat anxious experience. I take food very seriously, and this Felicia's was making Pizza. I was promised white clam pie from a wood-burning oven. The wood out back was described. It was all I hoped for and more.

Wonderful!

fast delivery. that is what they offer. i think the reason for this is their food is horrible.

Terrible!

I've mentioned on numerous occasions that I grew up near the mean streets of Ardmore (or, as I discovered by reading a plaque nearby The Town Formerly known as Athensville). I don't live too far away these days but I still rarely get out this way, so when the opportunity presents itself, I take it. The last time was Tired Hands, which was actually my main reason for coming on this occasion but with my childhood friend in tow, we decided to literally take a stroll down memory lane. Felicia's was a place I was turned in to by a Yelp Pizza thread and I was anxious to try it. Felicia's is located in the strip of stores that previously housed; the Ardmore Movie Theater, Plastic Fantastic and West Coast Video, all gone but all required stops on our frequent bike rides into Ardmore. Walking down Lancaster, I was beginning to think the Yelp app led me wrong as Felicia's was nowhere to be seen. Luckily, I checked out the back of the stores facing the parking lot which was exactly where it was. Felicia's is pretty much no frills in terms of decor. Just a few tables, a soda cooler and a counter. A man who I believe to be the owner was behind said counter and directed us to look at the menu posted on the wall. Already, my friend noticed the cherry wood piled up near the brick oven and remarked that he was doing it right. We placed our order for a large pie with sausage, roasted peppers and prosciutto and were told it would take 20 minutes. The process of making a wood fired pizza is amazing. I'm not sure I even want to deal with regular pizza anymore. In no time, the pizza was done and we each chose a black cherry soda (total cost 1lg 3topping and 2 sodas $24) and headed for the table on the roof overlooking the parking lot. Seems like an anticlimactic view but the area brings back great memories for me so it was great. We were instructed not to dig in to the pizza too quickly, to let it cool and solidify. Good advice but difficult for a fat ass such as myself, who had starved himself leading up to the event. I'm sure this advice is only given to eating in as bringing it home would allow sufficient time to cool. The verdict: not the best wood fired pizza (I liked Anthony's better) but still an amazing pie that's better than most pizza you can get. If I lived closer, it would definitely knock my previous Ardmore favorite Bella Italia out of the top spot. Simply put, it's pizza done right. Back in the day, traversing the town on my Huffy, hitting all the good spots, Kiddie City, Sam Goody, The Hobby Shop, if Felicia's were around Id definitely put it in the rotation, although only after raiding my parents wallet. I think it's appropriate to end this review by saying, "Well Done"

Tony was very charismatic and funny while making our pizza, which in turn was quality and taste to the max. We really enjoyed this meal. The only thing I didn't like was the eat in area - though this little place isn't built to prioritize eating in, the two tables they have are hot as hell as they are right near the pizza oven, and not very comfortable seating.

By far the best pizza we've had on the Main Line. We are definitely pizza snobs, preferring true Italian style pizza and Felicias is as close as it gets in the area - starting with the wood fired oven. Tony is all business and cares about his pizza. His menu is vast which options for everyone and it extends beyond the zza. Sandwiches, calzones and salads. Pricing is comparable to other gourmet style pizzas. They have a few tables on the roof top with limited service. From our perspective its's really take-out only. Note it is tucked away, so you'll have to look but will love this discovery!

Amazing! Simply amazing. This is the best pizza on the Mainline. Maybe top three in all of Philadelphia area. I recommend the Margherita and a Pesto Stromboli. Owner is wonderful, the dough is insane and if you enjoy a BYOB with a small outdoor deck, this is the place for you. Also very efficient delivery. As a fan of great food, something very difficult to find on the Mainline, Felicia's is a lifesaver.

Moved here 9 months ago. Alternate this place with another when I get lazy or my son isn't around to pick up the pie. The brick oven is awesome. The mix of sauce-perfect. Owner gregarious. Even delivery is good! The margarita has perfect mix of cheese and spices with wood fired crust. Otherwise the "usual" pepperoni is terrific. Hard to choose. Point is a variety of flavors, textures. Try it . Owner Tony a good guy. Buy local.

We finally found great PIZZA! I am somewhat of a pizza snob. I come from a small town with 9 old school Italian pizza places within 1/2 a mile of each other. Felicia's reminds me of home. I got the portobello mushroom and roasted garlic pizza. It was fantastic! The crust was perfect, everything was fresh and there was just the right amount of roasted garlic. My husband got the steak wrap and really enjoyed it. The place is very small with only 2 tables to eat in and the same amount outside. Pizza is usually take out anyway. The owner is very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. We will definitely be back!

A real Jewell of Ardmore. Pizza begins with crust and this place has a complex, crispy wood oven base that makes the toppings shine. The veggie special pie is so rich and yummy. A step up from typical pizza places, but still with great prices. The owner is super friendly. Keep it real. Keep it local. Keep it Ardmore.

GREAT PIZZA!!!...Tony makes some of the best wood fire pizza available (without the ride to Brooklyn). The crust is crunchy, not burnt. Not oily or greasy. The ingredients are excellent. The results, a dynamite pie. Nothing better around here!

I'm originally from Chicago, so, believe me, it's hard for me to find pizza that I like on the East Coast. However, Tony at Felicia's makes great, authentic Sicilian pizza in his brick oven (and makes for great conversation as well). The crust isn't paper thin like New York's (a plus in my book), and the pizza is consistently very good. The toppings are always fresh and aren't just available to doctor bad pizza. Try the Felicia's Special: spinach, garlic, olive oil, and tomatoes. And the calzones are great, too. Trust me, once you try it once, you'll be ordering from Felicia's again before you know it.

First time at Felicia's, I had the margherita pizza. I like to start with a basic pie, as it tells you allot about the dough and the ingredients. Upon entering, owner greeted me, and well, he's awesome! You can tell immediately a few things, he's hardworking, and super passionate about what he's doing. Dough was great, nice crisp, and lots of flavor. The buffalo mozzarella was perfect, and just enough herbs. I'll be back, as it's not your ordinary pizza joint, it's real brick oven, that's wood fired. Yum! A real hidden gem!!

Last night was my visit time visiting Felicia's Pizza. The shop was just about to close but Tony waved us in and took our order. He even gave us some suggestions and pointed out the most popular pizzas. After we ordered he began to make our pizzas and the wait wasn't more than 10mins. During the whole time he talked with us about Ardmore and his renovations. Soon there will be rooftop seating above the pizza shop to accommodate more people. Price: I thought the prices were very fair. $6 avg for a small individual pie which is more than enough. Around $10-11 for a medium and about $17-19 for a large pie. If you are with a group of people it's definitely worth getting a couple of different small pies and sharing. Taste: I am not a pizza fanatic and I also do not care for thin crust pizzas. But I will say that this is a good exception. The ingredients tasted fresh and the sauce was just right. I would recommend Felicia's to anyone. The only tips I can remember are 1. not expect to find seating (just yet) and 2. be aware of the hours as they close pretty earl (reason they lost a star).

Giving a four star review here because I simply do not dish out five start reviews all willy-nilly. The only possible improvement this place could make is its location. Not the easiest to find but when you do, boy is it worth it! Fantastic pizza! Best in the area hands down and I've tried everywhere and I mean everywhere. True Italian style, cooked in a brick oven over a wood fire. The aroma in the restaurant is my favorite part. Tony is the cook and is hilarious.. Great establishment!

I've been here probably a hundred times in the last two years, and I absolutely love their food. Everyone raves about the pizza, which is fantastic, but I've never ordered anything from Felicia's that hasn't been top notch and kept me coming back for more. However, the owner, Tony, may be one of the most difficult to handle business owners I've ever met. He's friendly and talkative, to be sure, but once you ask for something he doesn't like, you'd get a warmer reception from the Soup Nazi. At first I just ordered pizza. No problem. Then I moved into some of the other menu items. Want extra dressing with your salad? Prepare to get chewed out. Want to make a substitution on your sandwich? Not without a side of grief. Order the same thing multiple times? Steel yourself for criticism. I'm no pushover, so I can handle the occasional chaffing, particularly when the food is that good, but then the difficult moved into the bizarre and finally a refusal to make food. I work close by and order my food around the same time. Several times I got my order in too late, when the grill had been turned off for the night. No problem, I'll just call it in sooner. Then I was making the order too far in advance. Okay, so I'll ask for it closer to when I'm going to pick it up. Finally, he flat out refused to use the grill, eventually explaining that it was too hot in the summer. I don't think I'm being unreasonable by stating that's the worst excuse for refusing to serve a customer I've ever heard. It's a brick-oven pizza place, and the *grill* is too hot? On five consecutive occasions, he refused my order. Imagine that. Calling a pizza place FIVE TIMES over the course of three weeks and having them say "Sorry, we're not making that today." I will miss their food greatly, but I'm finished with the abuse.

Felicia's is a great choice for no frills, authentic brick oven pizza--in Ardmore no less. The place is tiny and is best for takeout. That said, there are a couple of tables at eat at. I've never ordered anything but the pizza from Felicia's and I never will. You can smell the fire's aroma from blocks away and that's enough to keep me focused on the pies. I suspect the only reason they offer other food is to not turn-off first time customers. But if your considering ordering from Felicia's do yourself a favor and stick to pizza If you're not in the mood for a conversation, you best call ahead because the owner (and head pizza maker) loves to chat. Whether is be politics, religion, local zoning issues, whatever, this guy is down to talk. But at $6 and change for an 8 inch personal pizza, I'm a happy camper. Try to the Felicia special: garlic sauce base, spinach, roasted tomatoes--straight up delicious.

I really enjoyed Felicia's! The crust is very crispy, towards the end of the pizza but ooey-gooey in the middle where all of the cheese congregates. We got the Pomodora Romano which was incredibly sweet.. so much so that we couldn't eat more than one slice. I really wanted to like this pizza, but the sweetness of the carmelized onions was overpowering and there wasn't enough prosciutto to give balance as a sweet/salty dish. The Portobello & Roasted Garlic pizza was delicious! Tons of garlic flavor, tomotoes and portobello's. I will definitely go back again and try a few other selections.

Best caramelized onions period. I love the Pomodoro Romano without Prosciutto. The owner now recognizes my household by this usual order. However, it is not good for getting any sides, and it does not deliver for lunch. I was also disappointed by the Caesar salad. Also, fair warning, if you don't like cornmeal on the bottom of the dough of your pizza, do not order any pizza from here.

I ordered the Margherita pizza, and have to admit I was slightly disappointed. The crust was quite delicious. It was perfectly crispy with the rich taste and toothsome texture that comes from letting the dough go through a long fermentation process. But the toppings were subpar. Their menu advertises fresh mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. But my pizza had aged mozzarella, canned tomatoes, and a very few lackluster bits of basil that did not have basil's characteristic fragrant, vegetal aroma. I might go back and try one of their other pizzas, though, especially based on the great reviews folks have left here. I would definitely recommend getting takeout or delivery here. There are a few small tables but the place is in general fairly small and cramped. Without google maps, it will be hard to find this restaurant the first time you check it out. If you drive up to 18 W Lancaster Ave, right now it's actually an empty building. You need to drive around the block of stores on Lancaster and walk behind them. Felicias is *behind* 18 W Lancaster, facing the parking lot.

We usually go to Ardmore Pizza, but thought we'd try Felicia's for something different. Big mistake. We ordered a large pizza, half sausage, half pepperoni. When we picked it up, the woman at the counter went in the back to get it. She opened the lid to check if it was the right order and saw that it was half sausage, half cheese, not what we ordered. She told the man making the pizzas, who seemed to be the owner, of his mistake and he just looked at us, shrugged his shoulders, laughed, and said "It's old age, what can I tell you?" No offer to compensate us, no nothing. We couldn't believe it. Not up to making a fuss, we just took the pizza as is. When we got it home, and opened the box we saw that about a third of the pizza was burnt around the edge but decided to taste it anyway. Even the unburnt parts were dry and chewy, and generally not very tasty. I hate to throw food away, but this was inedible. Into the trash it went. Awful pizza, awful customer service. Back to Ardmore Pizza we go where the customer service is excellent. I'm sure, had they made the same mistake, we'd have been compensated somehow.

After all the glowing review, I have to say I'm disappointed. Food: my pizza is a little bit undercooked. So, 2* there. Though the taste is excellent. Customer Service: It is probably one of the worst around. I asked the owner (the pizza maker) several questions and he didn't want to answer. Not a very friendly guy. 0*

This place is a hidden gem. Although, it is right off Lancaster ave, Its not visible from Lancaster Avenue so not everyone knows about it. Very easy to locate though. Literally less than 50 feet off Lancaster Avenue. By far the best pizza in the lower main line. Its not greasy at all, toppings are fresh and delicious. Did I mention that it is cooked in a brick wood burning oven? This gives the dough and crust a great flavor. The crust is light and crispy, while also retaining its unique brick oven wood fired taste. Overall incredible pizza. The owner is also extremely nice and very helpful. Ask about coupons and you can get $2.00 off a large pie and some other deals as well. Seating is limited inside but they have an awesome roof top porch, where you can eat in. The roof is gorgeous if its not too hot. They also only deliver Thursday through Sunday. I've truthfully never gotten delivery, but its worth knowing that its limited.

Pow! Best pizza in town, no doubt. Tony is the man...seriously. The guy loves meeting new townsfolk like myself - I moved into Ardmore 9 months ago and I definitely know him on a much more personal level than any other shopkeeper in town. I can see why there are a few reviews scattered about here and there that go on & on about him being rude and that's why they never bothered to eat there and blah blah. But trust me on this, it's because those people are douche bags, and Tony wasn't afraid to let them know, and could care less if they come on here and shed their little yelp tears all over their yelp pillows. The place is great. Tony is great. The food is top notch. I'm gonna go ahead and recommend a big fat pepperoni & roasted rep pepper pizza and my wife would tell you to try the caeser salad. Enjoy!

I'm of the camp that even bad pizza is good pizza. Luckily, Felicia's has nothing but solidly, solidly good pizza. The amount of toppings is just right, the crust is on the thin side but a great balance of chew and crunch, and the quality of the ingredients is good enough that even my relatively unimpressive palate can tell. I've never had the sandwiches but the choices seem fun (there are several sandwiches featuring mozzarella sticks IN the sandwich. Yum!) and I'd like to try one in the future. There's also a fridge with the standard beverage selection and some nice, fancier glass bottle sodas. Tony, the owner and primary pizza maker, is friendly and nice to have a chat with. Prices aren't at all bad. The seating is v. limited so take-out is the best bet. Parking (metered on the M-Sat) is ample because while the place is on Lancaster Ave, it's tucked BEHIND the main stretch of stores on the road. Felicia's is behind the Party City visible and if you're coming from the direction of Bryn Mawr or further up, it's a right at the intersection of Lancaster and Melodies Cafe across from Primavera. It's a left if you're coming from the other direction.

My favorite pizza shop in the world!!! excellent brick oven pies, a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Enjoy!
