Jee Whizz! The steak and cheese was AWSOME. Now I must say this was my first. I do a lot of traveling and hear about how awesome an authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich is. When I asked some locals about where to get a good cheese steak they mentioned a couple of places, when one of the individuals said its all about the cheese and meat you need to go to Armadore pizza. Once I sank my teeth into it, I must say the flavor was superb. The aroma emitting from the sack while driving back to hotel was mind blowing & mouth watering. Even in the elevator up to my room, people were commenting how good it smelled. Asking where did I get it from. The staff was super, very helpful. As this was my first cheese steak. the guy taking the order asks what do you want on it. Like I would know after all this was my first. He asked you like onion etc. Anyway he was polite helpful and sandwich was AWSOME, The fries were tasty. I was instructed to request the extra crispy fries. again this was new to me. i guess i will now order my fries extra crispy. There were a chit load of them in the bag.

This place is pretty run of the mill. They deliver all the time (well, whenever I want delivery including weeknights), so that's a perk. Their food is OK at best. I could walk a half mile in any direction and find much better pizza. I can also make better pizza at my house. But when I'm feeling super lazy, Ardmore Pizza it is.

Working in Ardmore, it was only natural that I'd come across Ardmore Pizza at some point when considering meal options, and I've been consistently surprised at their excellence. First of all, everything I've ordered from them has been damn good. I'm not big on pizza and their all-around variety is extensive enough to surprise me each time I look through the menu. Having an option to order online is also extremely convenient while I'm working, even more so because I'm a picky order and having a concrete list sent to the business ensures better accuracy with the order. Their delivery guys have always been prompt and courteous. I read on here that they have difficulty getting people's orders right. I personally don't think that sort of thing should be a surprise, sometimes a takeout place is going to get your order wrong. More importantly, it's what they do to fix it. On a few occasions my very specific order was improperly interpreted, so I sent them an e-mail. The manager promptly got back to me to apologize, offering for my next meal free. Both times following, my meal was free with absolutely no restrictions or irritations. Customer service like that is why I keep going back.

This place is the best!!! Food is fantastic. And the wraps, delicious. I normally purchase the buffalo chicken wrap or the cheese steak wrap. Awesome salads and pizza as well. I can not say enough about this place. If you try it once, you will be a customer for life, as I am.

Cheese Steaks Very friendly service, smiles and manners, nice shop and everything smelled very good. I had a cheese steak on garlic bread, prov with fried onions. The small is big and priced right! BF had a more ambitious steak with wiz, red sauce, mush, peppers and onions. He was 100% satisfied and the sauce was very tasty. The shop doesn't have seating so make sure you call in for pick up or delivery. Highly recommend!!

Look it takes 3 categories to get 5 Stars 1. first and foremost the food has to be not just great, but great every time. Check! 2. Price - on par with the competition and even a little higher if its really good. Check! 3. Service - be happy to see me & take my Order; if anything goes wrong or it takes longer then normal - come to me with real empathy and offer apologies and to fix what ever is a-rye. Wow, although really rare - they are experts at caring about you and your meal. Check! The icing on top of all of this - The Owner is there a lot of the time, the employees have been there for years and years and are happily working where you can watch them = more proof of excellent management - very little turnover, happy workers. If an eatery has great food and great service but the price is way over the top no one goes frequently. If you have great prices and great service, but the food sucks - no one goes more then once. Finally if you have great food and great prices but the people there are rude, nasty with poor service never fixing mistakes without an argument - no one goes back. All 3 categories must always be excellent to get 5 Stars So the secret to Ardmore Pizza is they are exemplary in all 3 categories all the time - very rare indeed. Wish they had a sit-down restaurant - oops but then they would need exemplary waiter/waitress staff and a floor manager, dishwashers and so forth - Maybe not, its fine that Ardmore Pizza is known as The 5 Star Takeout Pizza (and more) eatery of the Main Line. Favorite order for our family 1 Large Pizza with green pepper black olive 1 Large pizza regular 1 Medium size Greek Salad - request to replace the iceberg lettuce with all Romain, and get anchovies and Balsamic vinaigrette on the side. Wow, I just made myself hungry writing this review - gotta go...Yummm

We ordered a delivery online through eat street, Ardmore Pizza confirmed the order online, we received the confirmation email, but the food did not come. We called and they lied about receiving the order, and did nothing to help other than sounding defensive. We just drove 7 hours from our wedding, and we are very disappointed at their service. We will never order from them again.

I recalled writing a past review, but I'm glad I didn't read it before I decided to post an update - I'm sticking with the 3 stars and despite giving Ardmore Pizza the benefit of the doubt several times over the years, the service has yet to impress. The food is very good for a pizza place (one of few in the local area) with reasonable prices, but their service doesn't do them any favors - awkwardly pushy employees who aren't paying much attention to the order...clearly, see below. Missing side dishes or added toppings are forgivable, but now I'm starting to think they're out to get me based on a 3-star review. Every. single. time. I have visited, I've returned home giggling at how my orders are continuously messed up! I order pretty simple things, but wouldn't you expect to have marinara sauce with your mozzarella sticks? Shame on me - I should have learned my lesson to just check before I pay, but I kept wanting them to be a 4 star joint :\

This is the only place I will eat a cheesesteak in the neighborhood. I've never had a bad one from here (same with the pizza steak). Also have had mozz sticks and onion rings - both great. Hours are great & never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for my order. Can't wait to come back :)

I'm giving Ardmore Pizza 4 Stars not because their pizza is my favorite, but because the service we received when we went in was so exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was kind and friendly, and even though we didn't call ahead, they put our order right in and we only waited 8-10 minutes for our pizza, while browsing a magazine at their one table. Ardmore Pizza is not someplace I'd sit down and eat (there's no tables), but I'd get their take out. If the level of service we got in the shop was any indication, their delivery guys are probably awesome, too. The pizza we got was fresh and hot, with tons of cheese and a crispy crust. The sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but I could dig it. I'd be curious to try other types of pizza, since I had gotten the BBQ chicken, and thought that may have influenced the sweet flavor in the tomato sauce a bit. I've also heard their cheesesteaks are killer. More to try! Thanks for the great service, Ardmore Pizza!

All the food is great. Honey BBQ wings are a huge hit and so is the pizza. Very flavorful and the delivery is scary fast. I wish i had them in Philly where i live now.

The pizza is always good. The salads are huge. Service is fast. I would stay away from there Italian food like spaghetti. They over cook the noodles so much that it so mushy. Didn't care for that at all. All in all great pizza

Their eggplant parm is terrible. Eggplant wasn't cooked right so it was chewy disgusting. Greek Caesar salad looked great except lettuce all wilted cause they didn't refrigerate. Too many other places to go before revisiting

We ordered Ardmore pizza one night as an afterthought because it was the only local delivery place open after 9 pm. Seriously. We were pleasantly surprised that it was also the best pizza we had had in this part of the Philly 'burbs. The toppings are generous, particularly meat, so you really feel like you are getting your money's worth. We have tried the buffalo chicken and the cheese steak pizzas. Both were delicious. If you are a pizza snob, you may not love it, but then you would know better than to order pizza from the PA suburbs. For us, it is a great find.

Love it there! The best Italian grinder I have ever had, but more than anything.........I love the new small sized sub. It's the perfect size for an older guy like me. The large is just so big and filling. I'm even happier that they now make a small size sub. Always fresh great food. If I'm in ardmore, I'm heading there.

First off, this is not the place to go if you want a more upscale and/or healthy pizza. This is better-than-average, local pizza parlor pizza. Like another reviewer said, it's a good place to go when you don't want to cook. I've ordered pizza here MANY times and they've always gotten it right. The quality, as I said, is better than average and consistent. And the staff couldn't be more pleasant. I enjoy giving this place my business. Just don't go into it expecting anything gourmet, for that I recommend Jules on Lancaster Avenue. Other reviewers mentioned Felicia's, which I think is awful and in fact wrote a review of my experience.

My coworkers always order from here; we've eaten pizza at least 3 times from here in the past week and a half. The people seem nice enough, even the guy who delivered to us in the pouring rain the other day was still super courteous even though both he and the pizza box were drenched. The pizza is better than the stromboli; I'm not sure why. Portions are great as well; a 'small' stromboli will be good for at least 3 meals for me, which brings me to the overall quality. The pizza is probably average at best, but still good if you happen to be nearby.

While housesitting for my mom, I recently revisited one of the top pizza places of my childhood. One of our favorite things was the hulking, pizza box filling, cheesesteak stromboli. One large stromboli could readily feed my family of five. Memories did not dissappoint, the cheesesteak ingredients folded within pizza dough was perfect, crisp dough on top, moist meat inside, and a greasy bottom toeing the line of guilty pleasure. Their cheesesteaks are equally excellent, but the pizza can be disappointing, nothing really bad about it, just that there are better pizzas nearby. They have excellent wings, and for those who want to avoid the mess they also have "wing dings", fried breaded wings with hot sauce on the side. It's probably a good thing I'm not commuting from Ardmore station, because if I was I'd be eating here weekly.

It's the average type of neighbor pizza place that has better than average neighborhood pizza. It's not great, like some of the upscale pizza places here in the city - but for the burbs, and 8 hungry guys during our weekly poker game night it does the job just fine. And it's not that greasy. The Greek and the Hawaiian are some of our favorites. The delivery is always very prompt.

I can't believe I ordered from them again and once more I regret. Will keep it super short this time. Ordered two pizzas one plain one white with onions. I've got two pain instead - one with onion. They did get Part of it right!!! GREASE!!!!!!!!!!!!GREASE!!!!!!!!!!!GREASE!!!!!!!!!Â!!! AND HELL LOTS OF SALT!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!! Even if that was the last pizza on planet !

Unimpressive overly-Americanized greasy pizza that resembles national chain pizza such as Pizza Hut. The place's most redeeming quality other than late convenient hours is that it is better than Marrones up the street (a one star pizza). You're much better off going to Felicia's brick oven pizza a few doors down in the Party City parking Lot and paying the extra $2 for much better quality authentic pizza made by a real Italian. (or $5 more for the pomodoro, their #1)

I grew up around the corner from this place and I have to say, the delivery guys knew our address by heart. I am not a huge fan of their style of pizza, but its greasy and its good. Where they deliver (pun intended) is their cheese steaks. In fact, this last Christmas, I took a road trip to Michigan to visit family who had been from Philly. Ardmore style went above and beyond packing up steaks seperately for the long road trip. They survived and the fam was happy for the tasty philly treat. I think they have platters on their menu that come with fries and a salad...its been awhile since i got that, but I remember the salad being tasty. You don't exactly go to a pizza place for the salad, so that says a lot. I think they are open really late on weekends too! Ardmore style has a special place is my family's heart...I hope it never closes!

This is my go-to place for delivery. Their online ordering system is terrific - fast, easy, intuitive and not at all clunky like some others. You receive an email when your order is received, in process - and out the door and on its way to you! You can customize your order, to indicate lite to extra on numerous items, from the amount of cheese on your pizza to the amount of pickles or condiments on a sandwich. Love the pizza, sandwiches, salads and fries!

My review of Ardmore Pizza is very mixed. On one hand, I order from here frequently which would say that I like it a lot.... on the other hand, they have mediocre pizza and have botched 2 of my 3 delivery orders in the past two months.... My rating is simple enough. Ardmore gets 3 stars because they have really good hoagies. Not pizza, hoagies. If you want a good slice, go around the corner to Bella Italia. If you want a good hoagie, this is the place.

I like the pizza here, they are my go-to delivery pizza. Decent crust, sauce isn't too sweet as I find at Dakota, and they are generous with cheese and toppings. They are sometimes inconsistant, I think it just comes down to who is on shift. Delivery is always fast and good, though, and they have the cane sugar coke in glass bottles. Yum!

Ardmore Pizza is a great local pizza joint... It has great pizza plus really good Philly cheese steaks. Ardmore Pizza offers a classic Philly pizza and some other great dishes. Inexpensive and good tasting. And they deliver. When in Ardmore, make sure you stop by. It is definitely worth the trip.

For all these years, I never had a cheese steak. Decide to finally get one. My family in Ardmore suggested this establishment. Their recommendation was SPOT ON! The cheese steak was AWESOME. It even held well as I made the trek back to Silver Spring. From here on out, every time I come to Ardmore, I will come here to get my fix. Forget Pat's or Geno's. Forget fast food. This is the place!

Caveat: College student's prospective I was up late hanging out and watching some basketball with my friends when we all wanted to grab some food. Ardmore Pizza was open late, delivered, and had killer wraps. None of us ordered the pizza, but I think we were all very satisfied. I had the Buffalo Wrap and my two friends grabbed club sandwiches. My wrap came with a big wrap, a small bag of chips, and some coleslaw or something like that. I ate the wrap and the chips. Wrap was great. Absolutely flavorful and the chicken was not dry. When compounded with the fact that it was cheap, they are now my go to place for my late night hunger cravings.

Pizza is Greek-style, so a bit more like a flatbread crust. Have ordered from them several times, pizza is consistently solid and delivery is on-time. Overall, the pizza is ok, not great.
