Blue Mountain Summit restaurant is located where the Appalachian Trail crosses Route 309 in Andreas, PA. The food is terrific and the owner is friendly and welcoming. A perfect place to refuel with a burger & beer after hiking this section of the AT.

The atmosphere and music are both great, and the servers do a good job. The owner is very friendly, and comes around to talk to people at the tables. My only problem is the food pricing, most a bit high for what you get. The cajun shrimp were ok but had way too much spice on them, I had to scrape it off to eat them,. The stuffed mushroom appetizer only give you 4, for around $11. Maybe worth it if they were stuffed with crab, lobster, or shrimp, but not as they were. I'll keep coming back for the live music and drinks, but not for food.

We have eaten here many times because my hubby and likes the wings they have, which is the only reason I gave the 2nd star. On our last visit I ordered their chicken special which was advertised with all things I like. But what wasn't stated was that the chicken would be coated in balsamic vinegar of which I am not at all a fan. When I voiced my displeasure to the waitress the only thing she offered was a box for me to take the chicken home with me... As if taking it home and eating it as a leftover would make the balsamic vinegar go away. No remaking the dish without... So I had to pay $17 for the veggies that I actually did eat. Will not likely be returning anytime soon.

Great food and atmosphere. The Sunday evening bands are awesome. What a relaxing way to spend your evening. Kenny the owner is so wonderful and cares about his customers satisfaction.

Considering this is a bit remote area, the room is ok and large enough for both of us and the kids. Clean and confortable. The restaurant is ok and looks pretty popular in the area. Food is good, service was a bit long for the kids but the owner and the waitress are very friendly. Had some kinf of misunderstanding between prime ribs and rib eye steak. Tuna was a bit overcooked and dry also. The mash potatoes with the parmesan cheese was very good. We read some things about the owner not being so wellcoming. Well he was very nice to us but we are kind of surprise that breakfast has to be taken before 8:00am! Going to be early anyway!

We heard good things about this restaurant so we figured we'd give it a try. Salmon was delicious but the potatoes and veggies were a bit over-done. Waitress was very nice and service was good. The bar is right in the dining room area and it is a small area so it was hard to have a nice quiet dinner with my husband. The meals were a bit pricey considering the atmosphere.

Been to the summit many times but the new chef has really made a big difference in the food quality. Sunday late afternoon blues in the back yard during summer months on top of the mountain is a relaxing afternoon with great blues bands. Every Friday nite live music in bar mades for a great start to the weekend especially when Kenny the owner and bartender with his bongos from behind the bar become part of the entertainment. Check it out.

We stopped by here for lunch while on the LV wine trail. The Ahi Tuna sandwich (I had it Cajan style) was surprisingly good. Onion rings were a bit over done and very greasy but over all the meal was good. Service was fine, and our waitress knew what she was talking about. They have a small bar, and maybe 20 tables. Interior beams are exposed and there is a nice selection of maps on the wall. They also are a B&B, with rooms for hikers on the Appalachian trail.
