Agree with many others that Volare has the best pizza in Ambler. I stopped in about two weeks ago to find that they are under renovations. I hope they open back up soon!

Easily one of the best pizza places in Montco. Consistently good pies with tremendously delicious crusts -- the make-or-break part of any pizza -- and I particularly recommend the white pizza with spinach and ricotta. So damn good! Quick and very friendly service, good prices especially considering the quality of ingredients. Haven't tried any of their other menu items but I've heard the sandwiches & calzones are top-notch. Will have to try 'em. Meanwhile, this is definitely the go-to pizza joint in the area (Corropolese is still tops for tomato pie but for all else it's Volare).

Great place to stop in for a quick slice on your way to or from the train station. It's owned by a couple who have been turning out good quality pizza and hoagies for years. They usually have a pretty good variety of specialty slices and their plain pie is one of the best in the area.

Are they closed or just remodeling? I have gone by a few times in the last couple of weeks and the shop is empty and here are no signs on the window. Just discovered how good they are so its disappointing.

One of my favorite places to grab pizza in town. They're very inexpensive, the staff is friendly, and their Sicilian pizza is one of the best in Ambler! I generally only stick with pizza and appetizers here. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing pizza! Seriously, don't even bother with anywhere else in Ambler. The pizza is always delicious, and they do it well regardless of what you get. Buffalo, Big Texas (BBQ), taco, white, pepperoni, bacon cheese-fry, it's all good! I've also had their sandwiches and, while not as amazing as the pizza, usually pretty good. Go for the chicken cutlet hoagie if you're in a sandwich mood. It's a bit divey, but great for take out. They have a solid selection of slices at lunch time, and often have some great specials going on. If you order a whole pizza, there's a 50/50 shot they'll throw in a free soda. It's run by an old couple that are constantly joking with the customers, and know their regulars well. They have a tiny parking lot, but finding parking doesn't seem to be an issue.

Love love love the Sicilian pie. The thick crust is meaty, the toppings plentiful and sauce is outstanding. Very friendly owners family operated. It takes 4 of us adults to finish 2/3 of a pie. You can't beat that value with a stick. It is a local fav.

Volare gives you the consistency and great food that you're looking for in a neighborhood pizza joint. The offer the basics and they do them just right. The pizza is ALWAYS good and cooked perfectly each time. The cheese is melty and gooey and the crust has a delicious thin crunch without being too "crusty". In Ambler there is really no other option.

We moved into this area after having lived in north Jersey for 5 years. The pizza up there is really good so we were nervous that we wouldn't find a good pizza place around here. No need to worry...we found Volare. Pizza is excellent. Hands down best in the area. We've become regulars and we've never been disappointed. Keep up the great work!

I'm still shocked that this very average pizza place gets rated pretty well. I went for pizza and its ok at best, its really nothing special. There's better pizza all around. The place is kind of a dive too not that that factors into my opinion of the food.

This is now our go-to place for pizza...their sicilian is the best we've ever had - big, thick and heavy and feeds an army...the other pies are masterful too. We love the owners and the italian soccer always on TV.

We've only gotten two things from this pizzeria - cheese steaks and chicken parm sandwiches. Always with fries of course. They have these two items nailed down. Never tried anything else since we always opt for our favorites.

What a great family spot! I eat here everyday for lunch and I wouldn't have it any other way. The dough is the best and the pizza rocks. It's the BEST in the area! I recently started a diet and they were happy to make suggestiopns to keep me happy. Give them a try. You won't be dissappointed!

We're regulars for the chicken parm sandwich. Always tender, with a hearty sauce and ample cheese. Accompanied by well cooked steak fries, it was a fast favorite.
