I couldn't be happier with the service and the food. Donna has taken great care of Charlene and i enough times...always greatful for her professional decisions...she owns my late night food choices...and everything ive had here is top notch.

I moved to Bethlehem 8 months ago from the city and never expected to be so pleasantly surprised with a diner. This place has the best breakfast in the area and is consistent in quality and service, which is hard to come by.

I do real estate investing in PA and this is always a spot I go to for my lunch break. I was allow to leave my business cards on the counter. Waiters and waitresses are very nice so you know customer service is up there. Sometimes the food comes slow and sometimes they come quick, but I don't blame them. The food 99% of the time tastes great. 1% might be just an off day. No matter, I still come back. Their coffee is really good. unlimited refills! I'll probably update more next time.

I like it!!! I got 2 eggs toast hash browns and ham with coffee for 5.55. Service was excellent super fast very friendly waitress. The hostess was not the best...but I can sit myself. Hash browns which I asked for well done were perfect! Sunnyside eggs were delish. Coffee was not as strong as I would like...but very rarely coffee is. I would definitely come back for the price alone! My breakfast was a hit.

We had a horrible breakfast here. My husband asked the waitress if she would recommend the tomato and feta omelette. Her reply was she had never had one. He ordered the omelette anyway because he thought that the tomato feta combo sounded perfect. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. When our breakfast came out he had a spinach and feta omelette and I had scrambled eggs with no cheese. We sent both items back. His new omelette was burnt beyond eating and my eggs were cold with a cold piece of cheese on top. The waitress never checked on us, and didn't say a word about our non eaten items when she dropped off the check. We will not go back here. There are plenty of other diners to choose from an the area and we will keep exploring.

Worst diner experience I've had in the last 20 years!!!! My wife and I walk in the middle of the day and it wasn't even busy so I figured we would get good service and good food in a timely manner. The place was a quarter full and it took our server 15 min to come over and take our order. Not only did she take long but she was rude. It took 30 min for our food to come out and our food was cold. She came to our table once the whole time we ate. She was too busy joking and laughing with the other lazy servers. It's safe to say we will not be eating at this place again.

I've been here quite a few times. Not my first choice but the food is ok. I am currently here now and it is jam packed so my sister and I and her step son decided to sit at the "bar" to eat.. it was and little awkward because the bar isn't big to begin with and the servers and waitresses were slamming dishes and cups in front of where we were sitting and is that wasn't bad enough.. All the waitresses wear yoga pants and no underwear.. every time one bend over we got a face full of asscrack.. and let me tell you.. They all were not pretty asses to look at!!

"The best part of the trip so far has been this place." And we haven't even been served, yet.

Wow this was my favorite diner ! I came here every week at least once. Now I come back here with my fiancé and we get sat right away an get our drinks right away.... Then we sit.. Sit and sit and sit... While a waitress laughs with her boy you at the counter directly next to us.. It was almost as if no one even had the section or cared that we were sitting there, menus closed, drinks completely gone, waving our hands at all the servers and hosts.. Nothing happened so we left. When Lambros owned this place it was a good diner now it sucks

Took my mother there for breakfast. There were no spoons on our table, so when the waitress took our drink order we ask for some. She came with our coffees. Still no spoons, but she took our food order and we asked again. And we waited. Still nothing. Giving up, we used our knives to stir the coffee. The spoons came when our food was brought out. All my mother ordered was coffee, water and a bowl of oatmeal. In the oatmeal, she found a 1 inch metal coil. I assume it was from a pot scrubber, it might have been a spring. I asked for a manager. A male manager came around with attitude and I showed him the metal coil. He said "what do you want? Another oatmeal?" My mother said yes and he brought it. Paying the check as usual, the cashier asked if out meal was OK and I relayed the story of the metal in the oatmeal. She called up the manager again. I suggested the oatmeal be gratis and he said "Did you eat the oatmeal? Then you pay for oatmeal!" Most places would apologize for problems and even comp you for mix ups, especially one like a steel coil in your food. Not Top Diner. So good luck, watch your food. We will never go there again and I'm happy to have this forum to tell others to not go there also.

I am reluctant to post here because I've only been here once, for lunch, but here goes. At 1 p.m on a weekday, folks were eating what surely looked like breakfasts and they looked good. But I had already ordered. I ordered what I regard as the gold standard for evaluating diners: meatloaf. The meatloaf was OK, but that's about it. In fairness, the wild rice was a surprise, very good, and the cauliflower was, somehow, colossally overcooked yet still retaining it's shape. But overcooked veggies are to be expected in diner cuisine. My wife had burger, fries and slaw. The first two were fine, the slaw had too much something (spice), my wife didn't like it at all. I thought it was OK, but I got her point. But, to be fair, a lot of things (soups, maybe a chili (or maybe it was a thick soup), and as noted above the egg, etc. breakfast offerings looked pretty good. So I'd go back, but would walk around, see what folks are having, and use that in my decisions. Oh, one last thing. As others have noted, the service was very, very good. Hope that helps.

I've been here too many times to count. Fast seating, attentive servers, and the food is good at very decent prices. Nice and clean - typical diner food.

My favorite hometown diner hands down. Always happy when I leave, mostly from the yumi soups. The menu is huge and I've been there enough to say most of its good. Servers are friendly and efficient.

On a recent visit I was especially impressed by service at the Top Diner. Not only was our waitress attentive, but even the bus boy didn't shy away from coffee refills when things became exceptionally busy. All done with a smile! Our food was okay, the atmosphere busy, but the service was wonderful! Read my review at valleybreakfast.com/2009… .

For a cheap little diner...this place has a place in my heart. My boy and I always go here for a quick drink or a low price date night. Honestly..we spend as much as we would for fast food but I'd much rather go to Top Diner =)

The food is good, I had breakfast for dinner. On a Friday night more people are out drinking and the atmosphere seems geared towards the drinking crowd, since there is a bar in the back of the diner.

Top Diner is what a claims to be, a diner. A dinner with a full bar that is. Though I can't comment on the quality of the ingredients (probably no cage free eggs or locally farmed produce) I can say that most everything I have encountered here is what you would expect at a diner and most all is quite tasty. Large three egg omelets with a mound of greasy, but crisp home fires. Open faced sandwiches with a trio of turkey, ham and roast beef cooked fresh on the premises (no slimy lunch meat on that sandwich). Fresh made home-style chicken soup. Unexpected finds have been crab stuffed mushroom caps, chicken paprikash and a Greek style lemon chicken orzo soup. Staff is attentive. Restaurant seem clean, given its 24 hour operation. Parking is ample. Oh, and as I have mentioned they has a full bar. Drinks can be ordered right from the diner booth. Cheesy mid-80s style funk cover bands occasionally play in the actual bar, but I have never had the (mis)fortune to have witnessed the awkward dance party that most likely ensues in a bar, in a diner.

Now, I'm not here to write about their food (which I'll give it a 3 1/2 star, nothing special), I'm here to write about the bad customer service. Please READ it ~ I went in on a very cold night and ordered "HOT WATER" as my drink. In the end, I was CHARGED and it was listed as "HOT TEA" on my bill. I asked the waitress why I was charged HOT TEA when I had HOT WATER and her response was, "I was told by management that I always charge HOT WATER as HOT TEA! If you have problem, bring it up to the cashier and see if they can take it off." - STRIKE ONE! After I said the same thing to the cashier, he answered, "Yeah, manager told us to do that. I can't do anything about it, can't take it off of your bill." Didn't even try to reach the management for me. - STRIKE TWO!! After I PAID and stepped outside to the parking lot, I saw the manager and confronted him about it, he said, "That's not right, they shouldn't have done that. You're right, you shouldn't be charged. Nice to meet you, good bye." NO REIMBURSEMENT? ANYTHING? NOPE, NOTHING! - STRIKE THREE!!! I'm a returned customer and I was disappointed on how they handle the whole situation from top to bottom and I would not return again.

This is the 2nd place that my hubby & I go to whenever we can't figure out where else to go or what we're in the mood for food-wise &/or atmosphere-wise (are we too underdressed/broke/hungover/other?). They had a fire awhile back, so the dining area has been renovated into vibrant, but earthy, tones of royal blue/purple and tan/burnt sienna. There is a long counter, many booths, & larger tables to accomodate all shapes & sizes of people & parties. It's not usually very quiet, but the constant flow of people is a standard of a good place to eat. Family/couple/loner-friendly. Ok for hangovers, but a bit noisy. Wallet-friendly. Breakfast is the meal we go to TD for the most. I am HOOKED on their Country Scramble (I order mine w/ egg whites). I douse it w/ hot sauce (Top Diner's pick is Cholula hot sz, possible the BEST hot sz to put on eggs! Used all the time in the Mex eateries in LA.) Their blueberry pancakes also kick butt, especially during the fresh blueberry season. My hubby usually gets their House Omelet which comes w/ Swiss & American chz, mushrooms & ham. Yum! Another bonus is that they serve BOOZE. That's right, there's a bar in the back (which did NOT get renovated like the dining area, but should be), but they'll serve you drinks just the same in the dining area. Inexpensive diner food & drinks all in one convenient spot. It doesn't get any better than Top Diner.

This place used to be kind of crummy inside, but they got a rehaul a few years ago and it's gorgeous. The food is great (I highly recommend the eggs Benedict), the wait tresses are almost always attentive and if they get a little busy the owners and busboys bring drinks! A little pricey for some things, but the food and attentive service makes up for it.

I ususally go to Izzy's but I wanted to try something else on Union Blvd's Diner Row. The food was really tasty, but I found the people who managed the place to be colder than what one should expect at a diner. The host that I gave the bill to didn't say one word to me. I feel like a Thanks could have been in order. That was enough to keep me from returning.

I usually used to go here just to hang out because it was always open and we could just drink coffee. But their food really isn't half bad. It's acutally very tasty. And I applaud them for adopting a somewhat more healthy menu. They usally have different bands in the back part of the diner which is nice. I personally don't go to that part of the diner, but I have heard nothing but good things about it.

Been here many times for a weekend breakfast/brunch. It's typical Greek diner fare. The food is reasonably priced and good...only complaint was that their rice pudding wasn't very good.

Top diner, no place finer! Great place for late night diner food. Venture into the lounge if you want to step back in time.
