Just opened and already looking forward to coming back! Beautiful interior, varying selecting of food, cocktails, wine and beer. Great for a big party or a party of 1.

My boyfriend brought me here last night and we had a great time. The building was beautiful, the space was large and open but still intimate. The food and drinks were creative and delicious. The service was friendly and thorough; several people stopped in to make sure we were completely satisfied. Small growing pains that are part of a new establishment but I feel confident my next visit will be a 5 star. I'm super excited for this area of Allentown and plan to support it's growth as much as possible.

Wife and I had dinner here. Service, ambience, staff were all great. Food was even better. Steak cooked perfectly, wife had tuna that she said was also great. General manager stopped by table to see how everything was, nice to see that level of attention. Will definitely be going back!

Loved the ambiance and decor. Service was great. Lots of great menu options it was hard for me to decide what I wanted for dinner. My meal was fantastic and my boyfriend's was pretty tasty too. Instead of bread they give you popovers and cornbread...both extremely delicious and adds to rustic feel of the restaurant decor. A great addition to Lehigh Valley restaurants. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I visited with another couple on a Thursday night and was very impressed! The outdoor patio was fun and the band was great! Drinks were creative and different than the typical bar. The mojito was not too sweet which I like! We went inside for dinner and started with a flatbread and the wild boar. Both were enjoyed by all at the table. The bread was also not your standard fare and included pop overs and cornbread which was nice. Dinner ranged from $20-$50 each but the rack of lamb was definitely worth it. The baked potato was also very creative. My wife had the scallops and the portion was large enough that she had lunch for the next day. We passed on dessert but thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would definitely go back!

Excellent Easter Dinner. Four adults and two children. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were exceptional. I had a heffiewiesen on tap that was perfect. I wish I knew the brand. Having valet service was the best! We traveled from Scranton and Philadelphia and met at the Hamilton.....for sure we will be doing this again.

I too liked the atmosphere and came in for drinks and an appetizer. Great service at the bar. We ordered the tuna tartar. It looked beautiful but was just a bit too bland for my tastes. I will be back though to try some other things on the menu.

Went there the the day before vday.... Had an amazing time. The ambience was romantic the food was superb and the service was excellent. So glad we went there. The best time in a long time. The best part is that it is right across the street from Ppl center cause we had tickets to a hockey game. Great place all in all

Food is just OK, it's overpriced for the quality you receive. Service was good but getting drinks was very slow. Rack of lamb was ordered med-rare but was a little overcooked. Place was doing a good business but I was not impressed and will not rush back. Sticking with the Bayleaf and Grill 3501

Good social outlet....but food is not up to my standards....over priced and not that special...sorry guys...I think you could have done better! While having dumped a lot of money into the atmosphere you should have also considered the menu too.

If great cuisine, good service and response to customer input are a recipe for success, then the Hamilton Kitchen and Bar is bound to succeed. There was a bumpy start: navigating the city construction, finding parking, and locating the entrance on a rainy afternoon...( although listed as being on Hamilton, the Lunch Entrance is on 7th Street). Kelly, our wait staff, was most attentive to our needs and responded to our concerns. She was a delight. Management came to our table to discuss difficulties encountered on our travel to their establishment. They did all they could to make the rest of our stay most delightful. There were four of us; we ordered an array of items from the menu. Everything ordered from starters to desserts were top quality and well presented. I look forward to visiting this new addition to Allentown soon.

This place is a sleek and sexy addition to the downtown area. I was very impressed with the ambience and decor. Great lighting, inviting bar area and comfortable booths. The food and service did not disappoint either. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our party of three ordered appetizers and dinners. The calamari was excellent. My entree was the Gnocci with Ragu sauce and it was amazing. We can't wait to return. A must try.

I love this place. I have been here several times for dinner and my experience has always been great. The waiters are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance is fantastic and so is the food. The only slight issue is parking, but that is not their fault. There is valet and some street parking. Overall I will be going back here many more times!!

Mediocre food. Asked for brunch omelet to be on the undercooked side. Came overcooked. Potatoes not as good as diner homefries & cold within minutes. First cup of coffee cold. Not impressed. Won't go back. I like good food.

My fiance and I were very excited to check this place out. I am happy to see Allentown building up, however, I think I would've been happier at Chickie and Petes. The ambiance was fantastic, our waiter was great, but everything else was mediocre. I think my favorite thing I had was the deviled egg... We are foodies and expected great flavors and on time service, but they were slacking. The menu is ecclectic, but the simplicity of the presentation for the price, subpar. Also, the kitchen was so backed up it took 5 minutes for our appetizers and 1.5 hours for our actual food. Even the bar was backed up - with only one bartender. I have seen a lot of good reviews for brunch, which I may give it a go, but I would not be coming back for dinner.

My husband and I ate hear Wednesday for our anniversary. It's a beautiful restaurant with great service, however, you can not hear yourself think in here. The bar plays loud music on top of the restaurant noise, and it's obnoxious. The food is pricey and good, but not fantastic. The homemade ice cream and sorbet is fantastic, I'd go just to take that out. The bar menu is awesome. If you are planning on a romantic dinner and a nice conversation, this is not your place. Not worth $104.00 for two people. If you don't want to serve only bar flies, we suggest you turn on some soft, relaxing music, noise proof the bar from the restaurant, and this place would be great.

I have given this place a few chances and unfortunately the service has been disappointing. The first time we went the service was slow but the food was great! The last time we went, they overcharged us on our drinks. They gave me a glass of wine in a plastic cup and they overcharged my husbands beer. Their was a special for the beer my husband ordered but the bartender over charged us and honestly what bothered me the most was the plastic cup. We probably won't go back.

Outside bar and patio, atmosphere were great. Took out party inside for dinner. Atmosphere and ambiance were nice; although I thought that the waitstaff attire absolutely did not fit to the atmosphere. Looked like they should be taking burger orders. Found the menu to be very limited. Upscale pricing with mediocre food. Ordered the oysters with mignonette sauce. Mignonette tasted straight up like red wine vinegar. Very disappointing, although the oysters were good. Waited way too long for dinner to come out -- almost 45 minutes for a restaurant with maybe 10 customers at the time. Ordered the duck breast medium rare which I'm glad I did. It came out medium at best and was nothing to write home about. Presentation was nice, but I'm not paying those prices for presentation. I would go back but probably would spend my time at the bar and order outside instead.

I brought my sister and nieces from New York and was very pleased with the whole experience. Parking was not a problem at a meter just down the street and the building is beautiful inside. The food was good (We all got different sandwiches and passed them around!) I had the shrimp po' boy and it was very yummy! Also enjoyed the homemade chips. Afterward, my sister and I were able to show my nieces around the Hamilton Mall, since we are from Allentown but they haven't lived here. Definitely looking forward to coming back with my husband for brunch or dinner!!

The food was fantastic, drinks were great and service was exceptional. I had dinner here with my dad after a long day scuba diving and this food hit the spot!! Our waitress, Tisha, was great and our food came out quickly and hot! The atmosphere is great, modern decor with oversized booths and retro lighting fixtures. The experience was topped off with fantastic live music, both indoor and out. If your in the area definitely give this place a shot!

I love this place. I've been there a few times for lunch. On one occasion I had a bacon salad with fried poached egg and another occasion I had their shrimp po boy--excellent excellent food. The other MUST have is their cheese curd appetizer. It is amazing! I think the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the excellent service. I would give 5 stars but not until I try them for dinner.

My wife and I had brunch at THK. It's a great food experience with a superb bar. Our waitress Colleen was excellent. Has a few new place hiccups. I'm confident they will be better. Go enjoy downtown Allentown and the PPL Center.
