My parents and I came for lunch on a Friday. It was somewhat full but we were seated right away. They start you off with the tiniest salad that I've ever seen- five bites max- which is unfortunate because the peanut dressing is amazing! I ordered the vegetarian pad thai which was great, but I wish had a little bit of spice- just a wee smidge. My dad had the cashew chicken, which he could barely taste as it had so much spice- however, that's the way he likes it. He wasn't about to complain. I prefer not to sweat over my food. My mom had the drunken noodles and for such a tiny woman she sucked up every bite. The lunch portion was huge and well-priced. I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends and suggest it might be a great spot for a date night. Just don't order your dish spicy. Oh, and it's BYOB. Can't wait to go back!

Cute little place with excellent food and cheap prices. The drunken noodles and pad thai were each delicious.

Their pad Thai is amazing. They give you enough to eat for lunch dinner and a midnight snack. The restaurant itself is small but quaint. Nice atmosphere.

Wow -- what an amazing meal. A friend suggested I try it out, and i'm so glad I took her advice! It's a small place, more like a sushi diner on the inside, with ample seating and ambience for a pleasurable meal. The waitstaff is super friendly. I have celiac disease so I asked for consideration for gluten free, and they were happy to accomodate. I had the Tom Yum soup and the Holy Basil Duck dish. Both were excellent. The duck was perfectly cooked, and the Tom Yum was spicy and delicious. We also had the stick rice with coconut ice cream -- wow. I love sticky rice, and they do it perfectly. A fabulous meal, and we look forward to going back!

I ordered Gulf of Siam soup $7.99 and Seafood fried rice $14.99. Both were decent, but not spectacular. A bit pricey, but A-OK. I must say that I have a more critical taste than others as I'm from Southern CA with lots of good food.

I'm afraid I don't get the love people are showing for this spot. Pros: The place is lovely and very upscale looking, the staff super friendly, BYOB, the food ingredient quality is very, very high. Cons: The food prep/flavors are just okay. And pricey. Also, several components on both plates were ice cold. Not "sat too long and cooled down waiting" cold but "damn, I think this broccoli was just in the fridge and went straight to my plate," cold. One of the sauces was so reduced as to be the texture of paste. For some reason there's been an explosion of Thai places locally the past few years and I'm afraid these folks just don't stack up. Go to the Bay Leaf, The Cafe, or White Orchid if money is no object; Thai Thai II, Thai Thai House, Kow Thai, Bangkok if you want to be on the cheaper side. Life's too short to eat meh Thai food.

It's particularly good for being in a strip mall, but it always annoys me to see 5 stars for places like this... I mean it's good in multiple ways, but 5 stars, seriously? So it is in a strip mall but they did a great job with the place, the service was great but it was a Wednesday (still crowded), it's BYOB (plus a wine store is 3 doors down and beer place is 2 doors down), the food is above average but not great and prices are OK. So all in all definitely worth a try, especially for Allentown, but again, not 5 stars. Enjoy!

Really delicious food here. Very, very flavorful. Pad Thai with tofu so flavorful, as was the mango shrimp. Soups were exquisite too! Service was quite friendly. Lovely.

Best Thai food in ABE area (Lehigh Valley) but not WhiteOrchids in Promenade as they claim ! Food, Service, Prices, Quantity of food and Ambiance is pretty good than any other Thai places in ABE not a Full bar but BYOB. Must try ! I miss this food when I am at my hometown in NJ. I just wish I could take them back to New Jersey with me !!!

Ordered drunken noodles to go, absolutely delicious! A little expensive, but great portion size, and they are so good that it's totally worth it! Will definitely be back! Inside was nice and next time I'll stay instead of just doing take out.

Wow! This place was great. I had the red curry duck. The duck was crispy and boneless and the curry spicy and tasteful. We also tried the curry puffs which were good, the Tom yum soup and panang curry. It's a BYOB with a wine and liquor store next door so it's a nice setup!

Excellent Thai food, more authentically prepared than other local Thai! Excellent soups, curries, and stir-frys. The praram is one of our favorites. Respect for the spiciness labels is advised - it is spicier than typical Asian restaurants and they are not great at making spicy entrees mild. No worries though as everything is good and the mild entrees are excellent, with deep flavors.

Very nice people, very good food. Super-convenient location right off PA Turnpike, Route 22 & Route 309. Not in the city at all & conveniently located less than a mile from Wegmans. Staff is very helpful, which is important since many people in this part of the country are still getting used to Thai food. It is not all spicy. The menu makes it clear what is spicy and what is not. Try the Cambodian coconut ice cream! It is different from any other coconut ice cream I have ever had. It is not as thick.

We have eaten here twice now and both times the food and service have been excellent. It is our new favorite Thai restaurant.

This is one of the best thai restaurants I've found since moving from NYC. Pad thai was great, penang was awesome, and chicken chili basil was pretty good. Spice level was great. Will definitely visit again.

I am here in Allentown on business, was looking for a quick dinner, saw the good reviews for this, and decided to check it out. First thing I noticed was the interesting atmosphere with dim lighting, dark-colored walls and furniture, and laid-back quiet background music, mostly latin jazz. I noticed that the chair I sat down on did not feel very sturdy, but it was comfortable enough. Though I wasn't drinking tonight, I noticed that this place is BYOB--definitely a plus. Menu was a bit pricier than I'm used to for Thai food, but upon experiencing the quality, it is worth it. I had the spicy thai wings as an appetizer. These were good, but not mind-blowing. Good spicy thai-style sauce with high heat and some sweet/tartness to it. Certainly wouldn't get these if you're a "wing snob", however. For dinner, I had the phed nor mai with tofu (#42). This entree consists of sauteed bamboo shoots, mixed vegetables and basil leaves in a spicy coconut-milk/curry-based sauce with jasmine rice. I asked them to make it with "maximum heat", and they did not disappoint. The entree was absolutely delicious, and hot enough to make me down 3-4 glasses of water while eating it. The tofu was very good, but if that's not your thing, one has the usual options of beef/chicken/pork/shrimp. Portions were generous, so in hindsight, appetizers are optional. In summary, my enjoyment of the food here exceeded my expectations, I would recommend it to anyone, and I will be back on future visits to the area! Since the most important characteristic I look for in a Thai restaurant is spiciness, and since Thai village delivers, I'm going with 5 stars.

We finally made our way here for lunch. Delightful! I had the duck salad, which was a bright flavor symphony. My husband had the stir-fried crispy chicken. Yum all around! I loved the decor, and the dinner menu is very intriguing. We are lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood!

I had holy duck basil and it was yummy but price is not so ymmmy. A bit on the high end. Still recommend to try once in a while.

I ate here for dinner, and found it to be pretty reasonable. The service was great, but for a small location you would expect it to be. I ordered the Pad Thai Tofu and a Thai Iced Tea, my standard order at any Thai place, I usually get it Thai Hot too. The portion was good, and the food tasted great, I could have handled more spice for Thai Hot, but it was respectable, and the noodles were a bit beyond al-dente. The Thai Iced tea was larger than I expected, which explains the larger price. Overall, a good experience, considering the location and diversity of other options in the area.

Kind of weird strip mall ambience, but nice inside. Service was pleasant and on point. The chicken satay was "the usual", and the dumplings were tasty, but minimal in portion for the cost- 4 dumplings for 7 dollars. The entrees were tasty- scallops, crispy chicken, and a chicken curry dish. Warning: Medium was nose-running hot. I liked that it was super saucy... yum! They subbed noodles for rice in the crispy chicken dish with no issue. The serving sizes were average- quality was good. Dessert was honey bananas with coconut ice cream. Quite good. Nothing stood out as a "gotta run back to have it again", but the overall experience was solid. We would definitely go back again to try some other dishes.

After being seduced by the aroma of a co-worker's reheated leftovers from a dinner she had eaten here and her enthusiastic recommendation of the restaurant, I just got some delicious take-out. I'm a Thai newbie, and the guy at the register helped me pick out a not-too-spicy curry. I plan to sample a lot more of their menu!

amazingly good. so hard to find good thai in the area, it's worth the trip. i had the drunken noodles, which were just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Service was prompt and friendly, we lingered over a table with no feeling of being rushed. I wish i could give it more stars.
