Called ahead at 6pm on a saturday. Arrived and waited over 1 hour. Place was slammed. We got sat and waited 15 mins to be visited by waiter. Waited another 15 mins for beers & water. Waited another 20 mins for appetizer. I know it was busy... But it shouldnt be an 2 hour meal at a local Texas Roadhouse! Food was pipin hot and totally delish! Chicken was juicy wet and slathered in a mild bbq sauce. Steak was perfectly seasoned with a nice crust on it! baked potatoe was cold... The cheese on it didnt melt! The caesar salad was devine! So crunchy and lush and wet! We were pleased with the food ! Just didnt really care for the long wait ! We will be back! Check it out!

Great food. Reasonable prices. Tried Logan's, big disappointment. Only place I trust for a good steak cooked the way I ask.

Food was good, service was ok. Waitress didn't come back for 20 mins. Quality of the food is good for the price. But hate the theme song they play over & over... Would have much preferred to listen to actual country music (which I don't care too much.)

Our favorite restaurant by far! I go there with my husband once a month because every time we go there we eat till we drop... Literally! I love love love their baked potatoes. I always thought that you really can't go wrong with baked potatoes, but after trying it at Texas Roadhouse...... Oh my Gosh! I felt like all the baked potatoes I've had in my life were tasteless compared to these! It just MELTS in your mouth. And with the bacon and sour cream the flavor is twice as good. I'm not a steak fan so I've never tried their steaks. But the idea of being able to pick my own steak is very appealing and I just got to give it a try one day. I always order one of the chicken dishes. It's to die for! So moist and full of flavor. The bread that they serve with the honey-cinnamon butter is so sweet and tasty. We always make sure to order some to-go The peanuts are my husband's favorite thing about that place. He finishes the bucket within 2 minutes lol Prices: very reasonable and you will be thrilled to actually get all that you paid for and a little bit more. Service: quick even in the busiest days. Friendly staff and they will make the whole experience worth the 15-20 minutes waiting time worth it Tip: if you were on a diet to lose weight, stay away from this place. It will definitely ruin the whole thing cause you will eat too much. Also, wear sweat pants unless you wanna ruin your jeans lol

I really like it here. The food is always really good and the service is consistently great. We don't go at busy times and its much more enjoyable. It can get loud in there, so be forewarned. Tons of birthdays and yelling at times, but all is good fun. Great steaks and sides. The rolls and butter are to die for, plan on leaving stuffed.

We stop for late lunch on04/19/15.It is very cool place. Nice touch with the peanuts in the waiting area to snack on. Good food, good service, decent price, great atmosphere. My husband and I really enjoy this place.

Came here last night around 7 Pm on our way home from a day of four wheeling at Rausch Creek Trail riders. Lets just get rite to it here.. The rolls and cinnamon butter are off the hook! We waited for our waitress to come and take our drink order which seemed like forever and it took even longer once we placed those drink orders. I honestly think she kept forgetting about us. For appetizer we decided to split the blossom which was really good and not to greasy. Had a nice crunch to it with a delicious onion center. mm mmm good! For my entree I ordered the 8oz filet with a house salad and loaded sweet potato. My steak was cooked a little more than I normally like but all in all it was still good. My sweet potato was amazing though with melted marshmallows and caramel sauce, I would come back for just that alone. My boyfriend ordered the chicken critters which are just chicken fingers that came with 2 sides (ceaser salad and steak fries). He wasn't thrilled but who orders chicken fingers from a steak restaurant? The other two guys really enjoyed their meal, can't say I'd be back to this location being it is a bit to far away for me but ill check out another closer to home.

This place is like 5 miles from where I grew up so its really convenient when I'm visiting my family. I was really surprised with the food here. I ordered BBQ chicken a sweet potato and caesar salad. The chicken was really juicy and the potato was cooked well. The waitress was really friendly. It was a special occasion so the manager greeted us and gave us a free appetizer for our next visit. They handled a crowd really well, the restaurant was clean and our bill was under $35. There's a "critter chicken" salad menu item on the menu. I know the place is called "Texas Roadhouse" but not something I would advertise on the menu.

Texas roadhouse has a great menu but aside from that every single item we ordered was incredibly salty. Seriously bring your blood pressure monitor and watch it skyrocket. My steak was cooked okay but everything else was so salty, even the corn was salty. So many flavors to choose from and you choose to be salty. The onions, fries, corn, etc basically anything fried we ordered was heavily salted. The only thing I could say was good were the free peanuts, still salty and the price of everything was reasonable for the amount that we ordered. Please stop adding so much salt to the wound.

Unfortunately ... We were not impressed at all with the fried pickles, the burger and the chicken. The food was just not good, just no flavor. The pickles only tasted like bad grease that needed to be cleaned. This was a Sunday afternoon and they were were busy but it crazy busy. The servers were very good though. We will not return .

This is the Texas Roadhouse that compelled my family to become fans ... sadly, their sister franchises in St Charles County [Missouri], where we now reside, fall far short. Yeah, last week, our server was new or just not very good. That is atypical for the dozen of so other times that we visited here, before moving to Missouri. Good food options. Not fancy. Not bad. Good family environment. Okay to be a little noisy. Decent size, and while the place is always full, the line has usually been manageable.

Came here for my birthday and now I'm in LOVE!!!! This place is GREAT!!! I love everything and the price is just right. The only complaint I have is while, the ribs are indeed "fall off the bone" the sauce is missing something. It's a little on the bland side. Can't quite put my finger on what it's missing. However, my favorite is the sirloin steak with sautéed mushrooms. YUM!!! Huge portions for a great price. I've been here more times than I can count and haven't had a bad meal yet.

Best steak and margarita! First visit here while staying nearby. Definitely plan on returning again. Staff were excellent and friendly. Love the option of picking out your own steak.

Love this restaurant and skippy is our favorite waiter ever. We always request to be in his section. He never fails to make our dinner out fun in addition to being delicious.

Well I contacted the number that I was given by the person who saw this review and works for the company. The lady on the phone assured me that she would have the manager from trexlertown roadhouse contact me. Well go figure, the manager never did!! This place is a zoo run by horrible management!!!

We went for dinner on Monday 6/29/15 to celebrate my fiancee's and my birthday. It was relatively busy. When we walked in, there is a computer to sign up for emails, etc, for a free app. I decided to do it, why not? Didn't work and once I got all the information entered, it shut down. No big deal, but if you are going to have something like this, make sure it works. The girls at the desk to seat you, seemed more interesting in gabbing than greeting customers, but we were seated relatively quickly. Our waitress could have been a robot. No personality whatsoever, and seemed less than thrilled to be asking us anything. If it wasn't for her poor attitude, I would have given it a 5. Food was good and brought quickly. I love the house salad, always fresh, crisp and the perfect start. Steak was done as asked, sweet potato is my favorite, plain with butter - don't need the gagillion calories of the loaded. We had a nice dinner for our birthdays.

Awesome pulled pork and sweet potato with brown sugar and cinnamon. Was so good that I couldn't even finish it all. Served on a delicious roll.

I can honestly say I have never been to a bad Texas roadhouse. Once again I am not disappointed. I got the combination ribs and sirloin platter, and the food was absolutely delicious. I got the raspberry margarita with the extra shot of Petrone tequila. Okay actually got two of those drinks and they were delicious. We got there early enough that we didn't have to wait which was a bonus as most of the time there is a pretty good wait in line. Our waiter whose name was Skippy was friendly and attentive.

Tired and hungry, my family and I were looking for a nice sit down dinner on the way home from a dance competition being held nearby. We were greeted by the hostess and picked our steaks as we were seated. We then proceeded to order our meals along with fried pickles and boneless wings for appetizers. Once the appetizers were served, my daughter observed a hair fried into the batter covering the boneless wings. The hair was not on the outside of the food, but actually engrained in the fried batter! The waitress was very apologetic, but the female manager not so much. While she did offer to take this off of our meal and provide another appetizer in its place, I was disappointed that she did not offer anything more. My family and I at this point we're so turned off by the hair we had found, we could not even finish another bite without analyzing the remaining food. Needless to say, our stomachs had been turned and we decided to walk out. On the way out we mentioned to the manager that we could not eat another bite and were leaving. Again, being unapologetic, she said that we needed to pay for the food we had consumed and the kitchen started cooking only to have her rescind a minute later. Based upon this experience, we will never return to this location and will probably never eat at another Texas Roadhouse.

I have been here many times and the food never disappoints. I had steak which was tender and juicy. My girlfriend had country fried chicken and we both had enough from our entrees to have a second meal for lunch the following day. It can be a little annoying when its someone's birthday near your table because the whole staff comes out to cheer. But things could be worse. Its very clean and friendly. Will be back again.

I, my wife, and another couple stopped in last evening (2/22/15). Our food was very good but we felt that the service was rushed. We ordered our salads and entrees at the same time. We didn't have our salads for 5 minutes when, to our surprise, our entrees arrived. I said that we were not ready for the entrees and I asked to have them sent back, which they did. When the service manager stopped by our table I told her the same thing. Later on, during our meal, I felt our server was trying to move us along when she began collecting empty dishes from the other three and I was still eating. I felt she was hanging around our table waiting for me to finish. I purposely stopped eating to indicate that I was not going to rush myself while she stood there. All in all, food was good but the service, in this case, was too hurried.

Conveniently located near Dorney Park amusement park in Allentown, PA. This is my second visit to the franchise "Texas Roadhouse". Our first visit took two hours wait during peak dinner times around 7pm. This time, we learned from our mistake and decided to have a late lunch and early dinner. "Lunner" you would say! So, we were at the spot, 3pm. No wait. No lines on a Saturday afternoon. Our usual order is the Ribs that just slides right off the bone. Yummy! Another favorite is the Ribeye steak cooked perfectly medium. Awesome! After all the free peanuts, we were stuffed without room for dessert. Oh well, next time. Wait staff was cordial and helpful.

Probably my favorite place in the area. Great bang for your buck. They give you a ton of great food for a cheap price. The filet medallions can feed 2 people easily for $25. It's also probably the freshest sit-down franchise I've come across so far in the lehigh valley (the outback in the area falls very short as well as other steakhouses in the area). They don't usually mess anything up here I would say the waitresses are pretty experienced. Skippy is really nice, request him.

The pulled pork was delicious. The ribs were burnt and dry, but they offered to replace them. Line dancing waitresses and armadillo drinking beer were cute :)

We went to Texas Roadhouse in trexlertown for our anniversary. We have been to Texas Roadhouses before so we were expecting a good time for our night out but ended up highly disappointed. After being seated we were left for about ten minutes before being asked what we wanted to drink. She left quickly without asking if we wish to order an appetizer. Our drinks were delivered by someone else who wasnt our waitress sans straw. A few minutes later we were asked if we would like to order. We placed an order for an appetizer and our meals. After about twenty minutes we finished our drinks and started to wait for refills while we were waiting, the employees played a song and danced literally right next to us. This felt weird and mocking but I've been to Texas Roadhouse before and knew this was an expecting thing but while they were dancing a busser tried to squeeze by knocking over an advertisement off the wall hitting my wife in her head. He acknowledge it fell and saw it hit her but did nothing besides hurry along. Another employee fixed it a few minutes later but laughed and shrugged it off when I told him what happened. After about forty minutes of waiting our meals arrived with wrong sides. I brought up to the waitress that we never got our appetizer (the wife's favorite treat from Texas Roadhouse) and she just said she forgot to put it in. The meal was alright but we were rushed out once we asked for boxes. I called the manager (I believe his name was billy) once I got home to voice my complaints. I told him everything that happened and all he said was I should have corrected the waitress which I did all night and explained for a ~$80 meal I shouldn't have to manage his staff. He told me he would get back to me to help fix the problem. I waited to write this review but five days later still nothing. I enjoy Texas Roadhouses food but if you can go to another one in the area. I never had any issues with the Royersford location.

Let me begin by saying I am not a country western theme fan by any means. However, I gave this place a try and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. Hand cut steaks, home made sides, fresh salads. I had prime rib, baked sweet potato and a salad. The dressing for the salad was made in-house. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. The only down-side for me was the country music, country theme, occasional yee-haw called out for someone's birthday which was horrifying and I even saw some servers line dancing. Food was really good but the atmosphere was definitely not appealing to me. I'd still go back for the food and try to get past atmosphere.

As much as I love to rip on chain restaurant food as being bland, boring, and soulless with crap service every now and again you go somewhere that surprises you and this Texas Roadhouse truly surprised me. First and foremost was the excellent service that we received from "A" while we were there. She was being run ragged by having to take care of a lot of tables that were spread out over the restaurant but we never had an unnecessarily long wait for anything and we definitely gratuitized her extra at the end. The food itself was solid with the bacon cheeseburger being cooked to order, although the 1000 Island they offered to put on it never happened, and the chicken fried steak was well......chicken fried steak. The only real miscue was ordering the new boneless wings as an appetizer. While the BBQ sauce was good the size was pathetic. They looked like nine little rabbit turds in BBQ sauce. Overall the meal was good and at 5pm on the day before Labor Day we walked in and were seated with no wait so everything flowed. At some point, I don't know when since TR coupons don't exist, we will be back to try things here again as we were pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the food and by the excellent service.

I stayed in Kutztown recently and in venturing to find baby formula I saw Texas Roadhouse on the GPS.. No Way!!! I say no way because this whole area looked so boring and empty. Well Allentown seems to be where the entire population is. and Texas Roadhouse is just as busy as I've seen it back home in California..with a line out the door and peanuts all over the floor. So yes if you have a peanut allergy this is your nightmare, also if you hate a country feel or steak. Definitely dont come here. But if you love all those things then get your butt and your wallet and go here for dinner! Do call ahead seating if you're eating after 7pm and especially if you've got more than 4 people in your group. I enjoyed my caesar salad but was sad that our steaks arrived so dang quick I wasn't even half way through :( The staff bent over backwards to be accommodating for myself my two friends and my son. We all enjoyed our dinner and the service and would definitely come back... if we ever find ourselves in the area again ;)

Stopped by on our way home on the July 4th holiday. We have always wanted to eat at this chain, but the waiting lines were so long. Well now we know why! Great steaks, cooked to perfection - I liked that the waitress asked us to check our steaks to make sure they were done to what we ordered. The service was great, the sides were good. All around, we will be back

  • Bradley S.

Great food, low prices. The quality of the meat they use is extremely high. We just wish there was a peanut-free area so my brother, who has a peanut allergy could come with. He loves their food and we always bring something back for him when we go.

  • Benni A.

Service was nothing to complain about; servers are generally friendly and attentive enough. The wait was longer than I would've liked, but that's to be expected at a Texas Roadhouse. My main complaint was the food. Not the worst meal by any stretch, but it definitely felt like young, inexperienced line cooks were just cranking out meals without any understanding regarding how to prepare food. Just as an example, the BBQ ribs and chicken depended too much on the BBQ sauce. Will probably not visit again unless a guest insists on this place.

Good steakhouse away from the busy shopping centers. Excellent steaks, mashed potatoes, homemade salad dressings. Pretty good ribs that fall off the bone (but too heavy on the cumin). Attentive service. Avoid if you have any nut allergies!

Steaks, tender and seasoned to perfection. Ribs, very good. Caesar dressing, not a fan. Service, excellent!! And the beer is super cold!

Was in town for the holidays and decided to find a place to have a nice steak dinner and it was my dad's birthday! So we decided to go to Texas Road House. We called in before we arrived to be put on the list , why they don't take regular reservations is beyond me. We had to wait about 5 minutes, not a bad wait, you can eat some peanuts (although everyone else is also eating from the same bucket) and look over the steak selection in the open cases, which I really liked. Once we were seated, again there was a bucket of peanuts on the table (who knows how long they were there or how many other people dipped their fingers into the bucket). They brought to the table this delicious warm bread that was slightly sweet- it was amazing!!! I ordered a margarita which was also good, I didn't have high hopes considering we were at a steakhouse, it was served in a an extra large and was pretty strong all for less than $8.00! Our server was great, explain all the different cuts and was very friendly and had some great suggestions! Our meals cam out promptly and the steaks were cooked perfectly! Finally once the meal was over, they brought out what seemed to be the whole team along with saddle and had my dad (who is in his 60's) ride the bull sort to speak. Nice touch! Id would go back next time I'm in town, especially for those big bowl margaritas!

This is steakhouse chain, actually located in Trexlertown. It has a western theme. Once in a while the wait staff will perform a line dance to a song playing, though they did this more frequently when they first opened than as of late. Buckets of peanuts are at each table, with a second bucket to collect the peanut shells. The menu here is always the same and never changes. You are offered to select a steak near the from door, if you wish. You will not find much that is healthy on this menu. Depending on the night (as many are quite busy) and the wait staff, you will get from basic service to above average service. The food is not the best, though better than most diners in the area. They do have a full bar and few TVs near the bar. If it is your birthday, a saddled saw horse is brought out. They have you climb upon it while they have the entire restaurant gives you a cheering "Yee Haw!!" to celebrate your special day. The dessert menu really needs some changing, as there is not much on it to consider. If you want an amazing steak, this is probably not your best bet, but if you are into that country western taste, this might do.

Awesome food and service. Best Ribs around. Best sweet rolls fresh baked with cinnamon butter. Best steaks. Best value out there. Call ahead seating available.

Wouldn't say its my favorite steak house by any means but it was a tasty diner. Fried pickles are overly salty and sucked. Every steak othered at our table looked and smelled great. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was a total sweet heart. I was in a terrible mood and she cracked some jokes which really cheered me up. That alone earns an extra star.

Too noisy. Asked for medium rare steak and so did my hub got well done. Should have sent them back. Will not go back
