I love Cold Stone Creamery in general, but the people that run this place are miserable all the time. Poor customer service by the Remaly family. Also, I once saw an employee sneeze into the toppings and she thought nobody was watching. I brought it to her attention and was told it was none of my business. Yucch!

Your standard, upscale ice cream parlor. If your nearby, stop in. But don't go out of your way.

Love the Coffee Lovers Only. Same ice cream as other Cold Stones but the staff is better at this location than the cedar crest location. Very respectful, extra polite and patient if you take too long to decide what you want. Mill Creek seems to handle the crowded times smoother than the cedar crest. The mixers/makers are consistent here where as at CC, it all depends on who you get.

Ice cream is always good here, just a little pricey. I go back on occasions, but not often.

Bottomline they left us without a cake for my 6 year old's Birthday. If you want the ugly details read on. The owner must be a very unhappy person & lead a sad existence. I encourage you to boycott this store as well as their other location on Cedar Crest. I called Cold Stone Creamery on Saturday Dec 27th to find a cake for my daughter's 6th birthday. The website showed a signature cake (NOT custom.) made from Peanut Butter. I called both Lehigh Valley locations to see if they had it. Neither did. Both had a different peanut butter cake. Trexlertown offered to make it but I couldn't have until Tuesday. I wasn't sure so I drove over to the Cedar Crest Location to check out the Peanut Butter Cake they had. I decided since I was spending $30 why not get exactly what I want. I called Trexlertown and I ordered for Tuesday. Next day (Sunday) I get a voicemail from the owner, Roseanne, stating they didn't need to make the cake because that was a Christmas special. (It was still on their website), but they would make it, but I had to pick up at Cedar Crest and not until after 5pm on Tuesday. IF I still wanted it, I need to call Trexlertown. I called Trexlertown and confirmed I wanted it, but also say, "This is really annoying I don't understand all the fuss. It's completely inconvenient to drive over to Cedar Crest." The girl told me if it were up to her she's make it, but the owner wouldn't let her. MONDAY NIGHT at 8:51pm, I get another voicemail from Roseanne saying verbatim the following, "This is Roseanne. We are not making a cake for you simply because of how you spoke to the shift leader and the manager. Good bye." WOOOOWWWWW. Business must be really good at Cold Stone that they can treat customers badly. On top of that why would you call someone at 9pm at night. The joke is that I read the bad reviews and thought, "This is a bad sign, but hey...there was probably a misunderstanding.!" No misunderstanding. The owner is not customer service oriented. You can walk into the Cedar Crest Store and a sign on the cake case says, "We do not have to write on the cakes. If the cake decorator is here they can be written on, but otherwise we will not write on cakes." This franchisee needs customer service training. It's ICE CREAM. For crying out loud at least say, "Hey, we'd love to accommodate you, but unless the cake maker is here, we can't do the excellent job we want to do so we don't write on cakes."
