WHY OH WHY WASN'T THIS A DUTCH BROS?! Ugh. I was so excited to see a drive thru coffee joint being built on this corner. Perfect location for grabbing a coffee on my way before heading south on I5, and I am so disappointed. Have tried it several times and it is just barely mediocre. The girls were nice but seemed immature and giggly both times, like they had just finished gossiping? The menu is confusing and every drink I have ordered was bland. Doesn't hold a candle to dutch bros. Hope this place goes out of business and DB takes over.

got a sugar free vanilla iced coffee here this afternoon. wasn't too sweet, or bitter. it was pretty much the most on point iced coffee I've had In a while. good until the cup was left with only ice. stoked to go back, and try other drinks. thanks for the killer coffee to drive me through the rest of my work day.

I can't believe it has taken this long for Wilsonville to get it's first drive-thru coffee stand. The Human Bean opened a few months ago and is close to the Elligsen exit (286) off of I-5. I would say conveniently located, but it is like taking a driver's training obstacle course to get to the stand. It is tucked in the corner next to the Chevron gas station and Carl's Jr. so be prepared to bob and weave. There is one drive-thru line and some patio seating if you want to order at the walk-up counter and sip on site. They have a punch card system so if you buy 10, you get the 11th free, as well as a recharge card if you want to pay in advance. The Human Bean has all the basic coffee drinks covered, plus Steven Smith teas, Italian sodas and fruit smoothies. I like that they offer a small (8 oz.) size of their coffee drinks and finish them with a coffee bean topper. They have always been bright and cheery in the morning and move the drive-thru line pretty quickly.

Great service, fast, friendly, great price. I typically order snowy mocha's with coconut milk, they always get it right, fast. Why would I start my day without driving by the Human Bean? I wouldn't

Ordered 2 plain lattes. One 16oz triple and one 12oz double. Girl repeated order twice and they were both wrong!! We were traveling so could not go back. Really?!!!! How hard are those two drinks. Nothing special.

Had a java chip and it was glorious! So much cheaper than Starbucks and so much tastier! And they gave me a punch card that gives me my 11th drink free!! Can't beat that!

Expresso tasted like hot water with cheap powder. Messed up my order and over-charged with no regret expressed. Sorry, good messaging of world community efforts up the drive-through does not substitute for ordinary beans and lack of human touch. Sadly, you lost me as customer for life.

I love the Canby Human Bean. However, I do not love this one. I have stopped by this location quite a few times, and they can never manage to remember my order even after repeating it back to me. I only order one or two drinks at a time. The quality of the drinks is not on the same par as the Canby location. I will be stopping by here any more.

Great service but the coffee is terrible. I normally do not leave reviews, but the espresso tastes like dirt on most drinks. All the other locations have consistent taste and quality, but this one is really bad. I've thrown away 6/8 of my last drinks. They must be using a different type of product or equipment, or the water is not filtered. Today was my last time I will not be going back.

Everyone is always very friendly every time I go there and the coffee has the potential to taste amazing. The coffee actually does taste amazing when my order is right. There is also plenty of workers there but I feel like I'm always waiting longer than I should for a coffee, even when it's just me in line. It's nice having a coffee shop so close to home that is NOT Starbucks but 8/10 times I come here, my order is wrong and the coffee tastes horrible. Either it be too sweet, not sweet enough, only 5 ice cubes in my snowy iced americano, or espresso grounds in my drink, hot instead of iced.. It never seems to be right. As much as I try to like The Human Bean, I may have to search for a new place to get my coffee.

All around good experience. My coffee was made with cows milk by accident and thankfully the barista caught the mistake! This would have been an entirely different review.. I do not like the chocolate coffee bean given to you with your drink. ONLY because their germy hands contaminate the delicious treat making it inedible, and a chocolate tease that taunts me from my empty cup holder.

I really wanted to be a fan of this place. After several months, and several dozen trips to this stand, I've lost faith. Although I still find myself giving these guys chance after chance because I do like the taste of their drinks a lot better than Starbucks. But the truth is the service is pretty damn bad here. The girls are really nice but frequently make the wrong drinks. Don't bother going if there is a long line or if there are multiple drinks in your order, the more busy they are the more likely it is that they'll mess it up. They seem to not have a system for actually writing down your drink order, they just seem to rely on their memorization, and more often than not, they memorize it wrong. I have gone back a couple times when they give me the wrong drink, and they're always apologetic and make a new one for free, but it's getting old quick. I don't want to spend 20 minutes ordering a drink, paying for my drink, driving away from my drink, just to get to work and realize I arrived with a completely wrong drink, so I need to go back and get the right one. My advice to this particular human bean is to actually have a system for recording drink orders. Also, why is this is it that my same drink I get every time is always a different price? I always get a 20z hazlenut latte, sometimes it's $2.95, sometimes it's $3.50, sometimes it's $4.95, sometimes it $5.70...? The whole operation just seems super chaotic and unorganized. The only time I can stand to go anymore is when there is absolutely no one in line, and no one else with me. They can handle one drink order at a time, and that's about as far as the competency goes. Let's be honest, I'll probably still continue going here, because there isn't a Peet's closeby, but I really hope they step it up and find a way to stay organized.

Tried this place again, multiple times, thinking something might change. They can't ever remember my order, and have to ask me again (sometimes more than once) what I wanted. Plus, the Spanish Inquisition at the window gets old. PLEASE people find a happy medium.. Friendly, but not too inquisitive. And write shit down or something.

The girls are nice but every time I have been here they mess up my order. Wrong size wrong milk always something different. I love the location I just hope they can be a bit more organized.

I come here weekly and never have been disappointed; great coffee, rich taste, and has a quick drive-through!

Really good coffee, friendly staff, fast service. The coffee isn't over roasted like Starbucks. It has become my go to spot for coffee.

Good coffee, but don't go unless you have 30 minutes to wait in line, wait at the window, wait for your coffee and probably wait even more! They just opened a few months ago, but they do not have an efficient system down for getting your order and completing it quickly.

I really enjoy this coffee shop. The baristas are always friendly and the coffee is always good. The only thing I don't like about The Human Bean is they always hand me my coffee with a chocolate candy coated coffee bean which melts and gets all over the lid by the time the coffee cools enough so I can drink it. My fault as I need to remember to tell them to hold the coffee bean as I won't eat it.

My Husband and I went here on our way home and we were not impressed. He had iced coffee and I had a latte. It basically tasted like coffee flavored milk. Thankfully my Husband had cold brew in the fridge and I ended up coming home and adding an espresso shot in mine. Service was good and we loved the chocolate covered coffee bean they give you, but won't be returning any time soon. I shouldn't have to come home and add coffee to my coffee.
