Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Came In here on a Sunday around 11:30am and there playing 80's n 90's pop/rock music (some other reviewer said they were playing crazy techno) Cashier is friendly and there quick to help other customers. I didn't order anything that was pre-made I ordered some schmezzy bread and a 12 piece scwhings one six with bbq an the other with thai peanut sauce. Received food in less then 15 minutes. Bread is cheesy an garlicky goodness but the marinara is a little runny for me. The wings meat is good and I perfer the bbq over the thai peanut which I think lacks some flavor. This is my first pizza schmizza experience :)

I went here last weekend, they apparently were short staffed because they quoted me 25 minutes on my order so I showed up 30 minutes later for my pick up and I waited an additional 15 minutes! I got a veggie pizza and a meat pizza and they were both ok, but the crust is limp and after you have had it in the box for a few minutes its soggy...like cant eat without a fork status. I would have thought they would have at least offered me a soda for waiting, but no such gesture. If I didn't have a coupon for buy 1 get 1 pizza free I would have gone somewhere else because the cost for 2 large pizzas and a salad is outrageous! I paid 30.98 for my order and if I didn't have that coupon it would have been $55 for sogginess.

I'm a fan of Pizza Schmizza. I've been coming here on and off for a few years now, although this is the first time in some time. It seems like the slices have shrunk, but they are still pretty decent sized. The prices are a little higher than i think they should be, so you are paying for the decor or the atmosphere, which in my mind isn't worth the money. Dominos has a medium pizza for $5 which is a lot more food and probably just as quick, so if I don't want leftovers, I'm going to Schmizza but for 8 bucks for two slices and a drink, I'm more often than not gonna hit up Dominos and have some leftovers for a couple days.

Very attentive and friendly staff greeted me with a good attitude! Cesar salad is the best, Pizza tastes great and fresh too! I got order very quickly with no problem at all. I am a happy, satisfied customer.

Very disappointed today. Placed my order for 2 slices of pizza, and waited. Then waited some more. After 25 minutes went to counter and asked if there was a problem. Turns out they forgot the slices in the oven, were burnt up. So then she slams 2 cold slices in front of me. I take them back to be heated and finally get my pizza, 20 minutes after I had already finished my drink. Poor poor service.

One of out favorite lunch spots in Wilsonville for sure! Something for everyone here, quick simple fresh and price is totally fair. Staff is awesome and on top of it, always friendly, happy return customer here :) Pastas are amazing and don't forget to try the large salads, it isn't just pizza but when you are in mood for Pizza that is delicious too. Topping variety is very good and the specialty pizzas are yummy too.

Pizza was good. They have gluten-free crust that also does not have egg or dairy in it. It was a little pricey though. We will be back.

My family has been coming to this Schmizza for years. The last few times that we have eaten there has just been a terrible eating environment. The food is same thing, good quality and everyone can find something to eat. That is why we eat here at least 3 times a month. But tonight is the last time. Take tonight for example, there are 4 families eating in the restaurant, none have a child over 10 years of age and the radio songs are terrible. The music is what I would expect if I entered into a rave club. Extreme techno music. Ouch I have a headache just trying to write this review. Sorry guys you have lost my business.

Great pizza and they have a really nice, thin, gluten free crust for me. My family member is a vegan and we bring Daiya vegan cheese to them and they are fine with baking that on his pizza. This is a really nice touch and we're both happy. Maybe they will start carrying Daiya themselves. It melts well, like real cheese. We only get take out since I don't want to listen to the little screamers that one of the other yelpers complained about. I don't think you should knock stars off a restaurant because parents can't keep their kids under control. It is a pizza place so it is family friendly!! Get take out!

Good pizza, polite staff, and a nice facility. Their pineapples come in full rings instead of dices, and they use big pepperoni slices instead of traditional small peps. Still some good pizza though.

We love Schmizza!!! We have been eating here for years and their pizza is amazing. We are now gluten free and they have one of the best gluten free crusts we have eaten out.

Slices are alright I prefer to pick up a whole pizza and take it home for friends to share. Call me old fashioned but I usually order the Combo Classico, or Pepperoni and a cheese pizza for the kids. We enjoy it so much there aren't left over slices to eat the next day.

It's Pizza Schmizza. The store is clean and you know what to expect with the Pizza. They have a good check in deal through Yelp too.

***SERVICE*** the team has a great attitude from walking through the doors, to the order (if your a snob they can make a whole pizza and each slice being different flavors?!? Like I said only a picky snob would do that. I'm surprised that they would do that for you?) all the way down to the cashier. Wide selection of sodas and beers. Also variety of hot sauces. I got 1/2 Margherita and 1/2 Genoa Combo.

Just moved to Wilsonville and ordered here twice. The first time our order was made wrong. This time they tell me they threw out the order and it was never made. No sorry. No free anything. Just a shrug and an excuse" It's been a bad day". There won't be a third time.

I normally like Pizza Schmizza a lot. Good pizza, salads, and beer. This store seems to be sliding downhill. The booths and tables seem to get irregular cleaning attention and the place was not busy but we waited long enough for our pizza that the kids had finished their drinks. The sauce rack had only Mexican hot only. It was all lackluster and not at all worth the 20 for three slices and drinks.

  • Jennifer A.

I love the pizza!! I've tried a lot of other places but come back to this place. They are always friendly and fast when I'm in. The slices are big enough to eat one and bring the other home for later. The #3 is an awesome deal two slices and a refillable drink for $8.99. They also have a great ranch dip for those who like to dip your crust!

  • Bill D.

Went in here today and the pizza was as I remember the last time I ate at a Pizza Schmizza- SUPER! I had the #3 with two pieces of pizza and a soda. My business lunch had a #2 which consisted of a salad, piece of pizza and a soda. We both completed our meals and both thought it was good. The service was good and there was alot of people coming in and out during our hour there (they must be doing something right). Would I go back and would I suggest this place? Yep!

While I'm a big fan of the potent pizzas No Kiss Tonight (a lovely garlicy, oniony chicken pizza with an alfredo base) and the Green Chicken (awesome pesto chicken pizza with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and bacon), whenever I come to this specific location, I settle for a chicken caesar salad and dipsticks. Now, I love me some salad. And these salads have delivered each time I've ordered one. They give you lots and lots of lettuce, a good amount of chicken, and plenty of parmesan. They even automatically put the dressing in a side container, so you can use as little or as much as you'd like. I will also randomly get cravings for the dipsticks, even though they're nothing to shout about. If you like their pizza crusts, that's exactly what these are...pieces of hot bread topped with their cheesy seasoning stuff. The service is pretty slow...they always seem to be short-staffed, slow-moving, or out of something. However, I like their decor (which is always different themed depending on the store)...surf themed...and their booths are always comfy.

Go to Costco for pizza in the same complex. They have larger slices and a whole lot cheaper AND a whole lot better!!! and their slices don't have to be reheated.
