Always good food and good service. Sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the sun. I highly recommend this place.
What a gem! I didn't expect to find really good Chinese food in a little suburb, but the food was great. I highly recommend the won ton soup and the hot and spicy eggplant. The staff are very friendly as well.
I used to not like this place as a kid because I never liked Asian vegetables. When I grew up I learned I can ask for customization. Ever since I really enjoy coming here. The food is pretty good and the staff is great! I love developing relationships with people and this place is great for that. The owners know me and my history which really makes this place feel special.

Reviews:
Food is fantastic, not too bad of a price for great food. But one of the flaws would be that trying to get a hold of them takes a lot of patience and about 31 phone calls give or take. I would recommend getting more than one phone due to the amount of orders they get. Foods great, ordering on the phone isn't.
I went here yesterday and the poor restaurant had been broken into the night before! How terrible. They weren't planning to open until 12:30 but took me in at 12:00pm when I showed up. The young girl at the front desk was so kind. I ordered two of the chicken teriyaki lunch specials and a chicken yakisoba for coworkers and myself to go. Even with the early start, the wait was short and the food was delicious. I've had trouble finding a teriyaki place where the chicken is moist and feels like it was just cooked. The chicken was amazing. Loved the sauce. It's thicker which was a pleasant surprise. So good. I will definitely be back again!!
Service was great! Food was good (I didn't care much for the spring roll) Inexpensive price for this area.

Subway

Reviews:
Wow, Subway! I don't know what it is about this place, but I really like their subs. I know it isn't the best of quality, but when you are in a hurry and in West Linn your choices are Jack in the Box (I'd rather starve), McDonalds (again, I'd rather starve), or Subway where there are at least 7 subs for $5 (and they are not deep-fried). I try not to eat fast food at all, but I get cravings for Subway and the W. Linn location is usually the one I visit. The employees are nice and fast, many times I have ventured into this joint with a line extending past the door, and they still manage to get my order in under ten minutes; very efficient staff. What I like about Subway is all of the veggies you can add to your meal, very few places offer spinach instead of lettuce, also they have jalapenos and shredded carrots which I love on a sandwich. Though I must admit they are skimpy on the cheese (Grrrrrr ..oh well).
I visited this subway (open 24 hours at this location) for the first time on November 8, 2011 around 5:30 a.m. The dude was so NOT FRIENDLY, NOT HELPFUL, I HAD TO ASK HIM TO BE HELPFUL but I got over it and I'm still a fan because I just love Subway! :) That morning, I ordered Ham & Eggs breakfast thingy, it wasn't that good (I didn't even take a photo of it and I normally take tons). My Favorite sandwich at Subway is actually a (boring) cold-cut with vinaigrette (on the side). I plan to stick with the cold-cut during the day or night! NOTE: I have tried the meat-balls, tuna and other sandwiches they were pretty good, too. :)
Well, it's a Subway - what can you say? If you've ever been to a Subway anywhere ever, you'll have a really good idea of what this place is like. No surprises. It's right off the freeway, so it's a decent place to stop if you need to grab a quick meal when driving from Salem to Seattle. And it's open 24 hours, so you can pop in any time of day. Yay!

I often come in after the dinner hours if I want a late sandwich. Never had a complaint about either food or service. You know what you are going to get at any Subway, including this one. 4 stars for representing the Subway brand well.

Good food. Bad service. They deliver, but will act entirely inconvenienced every time. One young man delivered and told me at the door it was a bad time to order and to order earlier (ordered at 6pm). I used to frequent this place often, both dine in, take out and delivery but they clearly do not want the business if not on their terms. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
The best avocado curry in the world. Had with scallops last time. Let me tell you this, you don't have to search for the avocado or the scallops, you just have to figure out how you will be able to eat every bite of this glorious meal.
Delicious food and awesome atmosphere. I used to get delivery when we lived in west linn. The sweetest people worked there and still do. Sometimes I expect a decrease in quality over time but this place seemed even better after a few years. My two kids were comfortable and loved the pad Thai and the creamy chicken salad.

Burgerville

18350 Willamette Dr
West Linn, 97068
Reviews:
Great bugers and fries and shakes and i just moved in the area so when i took my first bite it was my favorite restaurant.
Ok, so there's a huge children's party in the downstairs area which isn't the problem, but they were very busy. It was also the cheeseburger/fry weekend deal so people were coming in left and right, which isn't the problem. The problem is that no one received their food inside the restaurant (besides the birthday party) yet the drive-thru line just continued to cycle through as if their food was already ready. And to top it all off, Burgerville continued to take everyone's money inside, leaving the amount of food to be cooked and delivered to paying customers stacking up even more! Quit prioritizing the lazy people who didn't get out of their car (and who ordered behind everyone else inside the restaurant) and serve the food to people who ordered ahead of them and are patiently waiting inside. 45+ minutes and still no food = asking for your money back, unless you're in the drive thru line, in which case you would have received your food 30 minutes beforehand and have already eaten it! The manager "politely" apologized but didn't seem to be able to do anything to resolve the situation besides giving our money back. Hire competent staff and less prioritizing the drive thru line, take care of your paying customers inside! We will not be back to this Burgerville again, stay away!
I love this location. The little park adjacent to it is quite nice as well. It's an interesting set up also. Kind of a two story building. I've never seen another Burgerville quite like it. It's usually my stop for a snack after visiting the dentist (I know doesn't make any sense) but it's close by and usually a twice a year event so there you have it. I like the specialty items they normally come up with. This is not an inexpensive fast food place but I find it's better tasting than most quick stops. I'll be back again.

Saprona Sushi

1721 Willamette Falls Dr
West Linn, 97068
Reviews:
I just moved here from Los Angeles so I may be a bit spoiled, but reading all these 4-5 stars reviews makes me think that patrons have never had quality sushi? This was a very very poor representation of a beautiful Japanese delicacy. It's a shame. In a beautiful place like this in such a great town there should be at least ONE good sushi joint? We first ordered water. Which was clearly tap water. Ewwww. Then we ordered a dragon roll. Below average. I had asked for scallops but he replied"what?" Is the chef Japanese??? Yes scallops!! He replied. "I don't have". Um ok? Anyway, we then ordered green mussels. Which aren't listed as green muscles ... " he don't have" those either. So we ordered the Tuna Tar Tar which they made up their own rediculouse name for, like most of their so called Japanese items. I'm telling you, a true Sushi Chef would laugh at this poor attempt to be eclectic! Then the Unagi!! I ordered it saying it just like this: " one order of Unagi please". He said " what??? Eel?" Seriously ? Yes. eel. Do you not know your own language? Ugh Anyway. The menus had tons of gunk on them. Make that lazy waiter clean them!!!! Yuck! And bad soap operas were playing at 3pm. Someone needs to come in and take that place over. It's a great location that needs a huge makeover and a new chef!!! And the sushi was horribly displayed. Guess I need to drive to Portland and pay for the quality I want.
I normally go to Sinju sushi or Sushi Land, but I recently discovered Saprona which has become my new go-to sushi haven. Saprona has quick service, and a quaint and cozy atmosphere. The sushi is wonderfully textured and can be warm or cold and has so many great flavors I cannot even begin to explain. Everything on the menu is worth sampling...which makes for a fun and exciting experience. Tonight my partner and I had the sushi bomb, the Las Vegas, the crazy roll, a couple other rolls and lastly a sea weed salad. The portions are decent...we were just starving...don't mind us haha.
Saprona has the typical fare like dragon and spider rolls, along with some decently fresh raw fish. The place also offers green, red and orange dragon rolls, as well. My wife enjoys the Thai side of the menu, which is a relief because she isn't big on putting raw anything into her mouth, which is too bad if you ask me. She's kind of a germaphobe even when the item in question is certifiably fresh and germ-free. But, hey, we can't all be adventurous, I guess. Like they say in Japan: "Eating in the raw is not for the timid." So mixing Thai and Japanese is less than authentic, but in terms of the practicality, it's a welcome choice when one lives in West Linn. Let's face it, we don't have a huge amount of restaurants to choose from here. When you can go to the same place and get your dose of sush -n-saki while the missus sips on her standard bowl of Tom Kar soup . . . well, that's A-Okay. Kids like the big menu, too. Plenty to choose from.

Went for happy hour. They have very good food and drinks. Loved the basil lime gimlet. However their service needs a bit of improvement. I was told I needed to move from where I was sitting and the logical place for me was to move to a seat which had something on it that I felt I needed to wipe off before I sat down. At the very least the server should have offered to wipe the seat and given me a new napkin which did not happen. I consider this a high end restaurant and even though I was ordering off the happy hour menu I think there were some basic service issues that were lacking.
We love this place for happy hour.
We enjoy dinners at this restaurant. They consistently have good food and recently they opened for lunch. One of our favorite restaurants in the Portland Metro Area. If you are looking for good Italian food this is the place.

Linn City Pub

Okay, so this is my neighborhood pub, and I am a regular. But the bar food is great, especially the halibut fish and chips, and the burgers probably have crack in them they are so addictive. If enchiladas are ever the special, you owe it to yourself to try them. Yeah, sometimes the place is so full there are no spots at the bar, or you wait for a table or the servers are swamped, but all in all, this is a great watering hole with good food.
What is there to say, get the Chili Burger and a beer.
In a day when "the customer" is an afterthought, attention to detail is an inconvenience and the bottom line is what it's all about, there is no greater savior to what a dining experience is supposed to be all about than the Linn City Pub and all of the amazing folks who work there. It would be easy to drive right by this unassuming spot along Highway 43 in West Linn, doing so would be your loss. Yes, it IS the perfect spot to grab a cold beer, a serving of Cajun tots and catch up on the game but take a second look at the menu and you'll find a Caesar salad, perfectly dressed and for a nominal fee, topped with a generous amount of Dungeness crab. Delicious sandwiches, hefty burgers, enticing appetizers but most important in this day, wait staff and managers who are genuinely happy to see you, welcoming and delighted to go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I could go on but I'm hungry so I'm headed to Linn City for a burger, and so should you.
