My best friend and I used to come here when the wine bar was called Parallel 45. We loved it then and I love it even a little bit more now. While both owners are personable and take the time to get to know their guests, I prefer this new menu. For my belated birthday, my best friend and I met up for dinner and wine at the Lakeside Bistro. My amazing time was partially due to the fact that the owner's husband promised me that the Andouille Mac and Cheese would be the spiciest, cheesiest mac I ever had (and it was) and because he was such a great host. He gave us tastings of their Pinot Noir and their Tempranillo because I was unsure which red to order. I settled on the Tempranillo and was glad I did because it was full and rich, just like I like it. My friend got the crab dip, which looked amazing (and must have tasted as good as it looked because she gobbled it down and didn't offer me a bite). The location is superb as well. They have a parking lot in front and the back faces the man made lake and promenade. In the summer, they have outdoor seating so you can take in all the beauty up close and personal. Get a sitter, because this is that perfect place for an intimate dinner or classy night out!

Loved, Loved LOVED this quaint little Bistro! We had a bunch of tapas, shared wine and had a fabulous Friday. Owners were exceptionally nice, too. Love the VIP mobile club. Looking forward to spending many more evenings here!

Great wine list, good line of beers, but the food just missed the mark. I recently when to a food cart and order an antipasto platter and got Olive tapenade, Salami, spicy chickpeas, marinated cauliflower, fresh mozzarella with pesto and salad. Sometimes you will get a pate or rare meats and cheese. At Lakeside we got apples, grapes, strawberries, cheddar cheese, gouda, 2 kinds of meats and store bought crackers for $11. When I go out to eat I like to be wowed, I like foods that I won't make at home and I like it to be special. Nothing tasted bad, but there was nothing that was special. We have places like Olympic provisions that has great meats that would be awesome on this antipasto platter. The menu said it would come with olives and focaccia and it didn't. They have 2 kinds of tacos, fish or pulled pork. You get 2 tacos for $7. We asked for one of each and they said that would not be possible, we had to get 2 of the same. We got the fish, they were ok. You have a great location, a great audience, and a great space. Service was awesome, friendly and enjoyable. You have to wow the people. Apples, cheddar cheese and crackers for $11 just won't do it.

Sunday breakfast was a huge disappointment. Saw their OPEN sign and decided to try it and found the place empty at 9:30, AM which should have been our first hint. Modest menu of waffles and egg dishes so they should not have many challenges but they did not measure up in any way. MA had a plain waffle which resembled an Eggo and tasted slightly better for $8.00. I had bacon and eggs, etc, for about 10.00 and both were way overpriced, boring and forgettable. Coffee was $3.00 a cup since it was "special" and was terrible. Very nice lady serving us and when I told her of my disappointment, she said that no one had ever complained before. I looked around and the place was still empty and thought this is the way they complain, they don't come back. We go out almost every Sun AM for breakfast so have tried a lot of places. mostly on the East side, even tho we live on the West side, most of which we really like. Too bad about this place.

Lakeside Bistro was a huge disappointment. A wine bar needs flights of wine so patrons can sample a variety of wine. There needs to be more local wines especially with local wines so readily available and there needs to be food that isn't under seasoned or simply bad. It's too bad because this is a great spot for a wine bar. The previous restaurant proved that fact. Sadly, Lakeside Bistro just doesn't cut it. The bruschetta was just toasted baguette with Roma tomato and mozzarella. The "medallions" of skirt steak was bland and the pasta with house smoked salmon was boring. I really was excited to see a wine bar back in this spot. Now I'm realizing that the drive into Portland to visit wine bars that do it right is worth it.

Great service, surprisingly good (and filling) tapas. This place is Tualatin's best kept secret. It's tucks away on the lake at the Commons. No rush. We felt like we were back in Europe. Worth the drive!

This is a wonderful little wine bar. The food is delicious and great to enjoy it with a seat by the lake.

Really terrible food. I was honestly afraid that this place could be on "Kitchen Nightmares". The service was friendly, but every bit if food that came out was questionable and squishy. Yuck!

I went here for happy hour and wine after work with a friend. I had the Grenache Syrah, which was good for a happy hour wine I have to say! $5! We shared the mac n cheese and the fish tacos as well. I loved the fish tacos!!!They were a perfect small size and seasoned just right. I wasn't so hot on the mac n cheese, but that's ok. It was nice to sit outside next to the water too. Got to hang with the ducks. :) Betsy was really friendly there as well. My friend and I will definitely be going back! Selena
