Wow, great selection of beers (8 on tap and massive # of bottled) and great prices. I'd give it 5 stars, but the quality of the lettuce and tomatoes on the sandwiches could be better... it was a step above subway quality but I would've loved something a step up. But still, it was a tasty sandwich, and again the beer was great.

I've been a Fan for 4 years I think, I've seen lots of changes in the past 4 years, Staff is hit and miss, The food is nothing special. I keep going for the beer selection they seem to have something new to me all the time. They almost always have Caldera IPA 5+ stars for the beer selections 2-3 for the food and service .

A terrific selection of taps and even greater selection of bottles! Beer heaven. Also the sandwiches... oh my! Turkey club is always a winner! Slightly toasted with all the fixings! Best "hoagie" I have found yet out here in the PNW. I also am pleased with the staff, the guy with all the beer info is invaluable to me as a resource. He has totally "sold" me on their selections and seems oh so knowledgeable without being "above me". Kudos to Birra Deli! My go to place for growler fills, not the cheapest in PDX but really a large selection with the knowledge to back it up! 5 stars from me!

Amazing beer selection, absolutely insane. Huge sandwiches for decent prices. I liked my friend's Turkey Club the best. Pretty cool atmosphere for a bar, and good discounts on six-packs and beer to go. I can't wait to go back and try the mini sandwiches.

I hate to do this after hearing so many great things about this place. I mean what suburb in Oregon doesn't need more bottle shops with a killer beer selection, scheduled tastings and a friendly staff? Well I must have picked the wrong god damn night to come see it for myself! I came in on Fri after work at about 10pm and was greeted not by a hello but a lot of complaining. Looking at beer calms me so I ignored that mess to peruse their selection. Honestly I wasn't that impressed, probably because I am an avid enthusiast who researches a ton of products or maybe it was because I reviewed their online list and found a lot missing. I also ran into a few other pet peeves like the apparent dysfunction or shall I say lack of organization. Sure maybe I'm anal as hell but it looked like the beer was just thrown into any open space in each refrigerator. The Firestone Walker bombers were hanging out with 12oz Coronas and the Mexican beers looked like they were formulating an attack on the smaller 11.2 Belgium's. Oh and don't expect any signage, I don't even know how they would determine your navigation. Speaking of signage, as Jessika K. has pointed out what's up with the lack of pricing? If there's one thing I can tell you from my merchandising experience there's no better way to kill sales than not having an item price marked. Instead of accuracy they believe in infrequency as their pricing is scattered like someone threw darts at their favorite beers and said yeah let's go with that. It certainly made me hesitant to buy after having to ask the pissed off bartender three times about the different beers I selected. I was also told about their awesome rotating taps but this night all I had to choose from were Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, Bass and I believe a Pilsner which the bartender quoted as "not knowing about or giving a f*ck". Yeah it's almost St. Patrick's Day I get it and as an Irishman I'm in full support of some Irish cheer but why not support some local alternatives? Oh yes let's talk about our great customer service experience shall we. As someone with personality who's worked in the service industry I'm always touting how it effects your experience regardless of your love for a product. This night validates my case entirely! Because I tried to enjoy myself and company but was constantly reminded that someone didn't feel good, that all they wanted to do was leave and didn't care what anyone else thought. Ya know what, I'd rather you kick me out and shut the MF down than listen to you complain any more. Hell you offer 15% on beer to go, I'll happily leave, take my discounted beer and enjoy it in the comfort of my home. At least there I don't have to listen to your whining like nails down a chalkboard! Oh speaking of discounts, I checked in with my lovely Yelp app and was greeted to an additional 10% off their regular to go offer. Sadly I was also greeted to more complaining that she didn't think that offer was still valid. I promptly showed her my phone as I said "computers don't lie"! She did honor the offer but the beer I selected was warm from the heat soaked room and awesome placement on top of the vibrating refrigerator. She told me she'd chill it in the freezer for a few before I departed but oops -- forgot to close the door so instead I got to enjoy it lukewarm. Go you! She also felt compelled to interrupt my friend whenever he said something she didn't agree with. I really wanted to say excuse me miss but have you ever heard the customer is always right? Well .. believe me when I say you're being a bitch. Her disposition wasn't inspiring me to stay longer even if drinking another beer may have helped drown out her attitude. It's a shame too because I love beer, I love drinking it, talking about it and sharing my experience with others, something that isn't hard to do here in Portland. That and I spend a lot of F-ing $$$ on beer, much of what will probably be going to another venue. Maybe out here in Tualatin you can get away with this when all you have to do is compete with 7-Elevens and Safeway's. I'd really like to come back another time when someone else is working, maybe someone who does care or likes their job. However I'm less inspired because I've been to a few big box stores down the road that have better selections, service, and employees who don't deserve a slapping.

My hubs and I have been here several times for a quick bite. I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't really appreciate all their beer offerings, but I know my husband is in love with the beer selection. I usually get the french dip sandwich, which is really tasty. It's a good place to go if you want a quick meal and really like beer. They also play sports games on their televisions, but thankfully the place does not have that "sports bar" dive-y feel to it.

Always something different on tap, endless variety of bottles, custom or special orders, beer tastings that are generous, informative, inexpensive and offer prizes, and delicious freaking chili? How can you say no?! It all started with a Groupon... And the rest is history for me.

Love the selection. Don't like that they occasionally have a tap hijacked by corporate faux-craft swill.

Great place to hang with buddies and sample a wide range of good beer. Initially I thought it was a corner store. But it's much more. Fairly good food but I go for the great beer selection! Four stars for beer. Three stars for food.

My wife and I both work from home. To get out we try and get here once a week for a quick and Fantastic beer selection, and I haven't had a sandwich I haven't liked.

If you love quality beer, this is your place! Jarred one of the bartender is super passionate about beer and is always willing to make awesome recommendations. After a while he'll even learn what type of beers you like, which is super helpful. This is great place to try out near beer, they have everything under the sun. The jukebox is a nice addition if you are hanging with friends and want to listen to some jams. the food is good, but it depends on who is working.

Frustrating that most of the beer have no prices. Haven't tried the food but it all looks pedestrian. Tap beers are very weird - frequently it looks like a tap list from middle America - not the Pacific NW. It IS nice to have a good selection of bottles in the 'burbs but it could be done sooooo much better. Here's hoping someone else steps up and dethrones the monopoly of Birra.

I bought a Sharing Spree that stated that it was good for beer to go as well as draft beer and food. I bought the Sharing Spree specifically for the bottled beer. When I stopped in to redeem my deal, Birra Deli told me it was a typo and that they would not honor it and that I would have to go back to Sharing Spree to get my money back. I'm not sure why they would not just honor the deal. I was a regular as the beer selection is really quite good but I'm really put off by the fact that they would not just suck it up and honor the Sharing Spree to keep me as a customer. I will not be returning.

After receiving correspondence from the owner we decided to return to give this place a second look. The first thing we noticed was that we were greeted by friendly employees ( one of which seemed to be the owner or manager)....a definite improvement over our first visit. Even though they were busy they patiently answered our questions and provided us with good service. We continue to be impressed by the selection of beer on tap and the one my husband chose was excellent and fairly priced. Some of the taps and bottled beers were slightly higher priced than a grocery store but you can't beat the selection. Our sandwiches were average, nothing to rave about. The last time we were here the only customer was one who was gambling so it hardly felt like a place you wanted to sit and drink specialty beer. This time the place was filled with people eating and drinking and the gambling was hardly noticeable. All and all, I'm glad we returned and gave this place a second chance.

First off: FIVE STARS FOR BEER. Period. FIVE DAMNED AWESOME STARS. Three stars for food. Decent food, nothing mind blowing but nothing awful either, small menu. But you don't go here for the food - you go for the beer! I wasn't sure what to expect from this joint, and I'll tell you, it's sort of an odd feel when you walk in. It FEELS like a convenience store with some high top tables and chairs, and a bar and a kitchen in the corner, and some lottery type offerings around (like a convenience store). Be ready for that. The cases, however, are filled with hundreds and hundreds of kinds of bottled beer from all over - with one cooler tucked back in what I refer to as the "corner of embarrassment" with some juices, other sodas, and things like Bud Light Lime (more on that in a minute). They also have 7 taps rotating - so we sat at the bar and ordered some food (I was hungry) and had some beer.. Holy. Shit. I'm not a girly-beer sort of girl - but I had a Creme Brulee Stout from Southern Tier brewery in NY - and I want to wear that stuff as perfume AND drink it! Again and again and again. Sadly, it's seasonal, so they won't have more until the fall sometime, but I'll be back hoping to find it on tap again. Their draught selection was pretty varied, too, something for everyone. I had a cheese steak (with just cheese, garilic, and onions) and there was NOTHING wrong with the sandwich at all. Tasty, filling - not the best cheese steak I've had in my life, but far from the worst and I ate the whole thing. :) The bf had a veggie sandwich and was pleasantly surprised - he also ate the whole thing. In general though I think if you want to sit at the bar, have some cold beer, and have some snacks, that's one thing, but the kitchen is pretty limited. The guy at the counter (who was also running the kitchen) could NOT have been nicer or more helpful. And he was patient - some douchebag in a green polo shirt with his collar popped asked if there was any Bud Light Lime in the store. I almost fell off my stool laughing at him - but the guy working there didn't bat an eye as he said, "Maybe over there in the corner?" PS- the moron then had to ask for 2 glasses because the 20oz Bud Light Lime was going to be "too much" for he and his girlfriend. The whole time the dude working there didn't laugh in his face, but when the dude walked away he looked at me and said, "I think he's in the wrong place." How diplomatic! :) It may be 10 minutes south of the city on I-5, but I will definitely hit this joint for exciting mixed six packs of tasty beers to go, and will definitely check their taps whenever I'm in!

Great food, not healthy but great. Large beer selection, for those that drink beer.

  • Chris O.

A great selection of hard to find beers along with some very good taps. It's the best option for craft beer in the south suburbs. Although the bottle selection is currently lower than normal, apparently they're making room for some exciting changes.

Search and find the best kept secret in Tualatin! Always finding delicious new brews either in tap or frequently re-stocked coolers! And Tastings! Don't miss out on the ruckus Thursday tastings!

Birra Deli gets 5 stars for several reasons. 1. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. 2. They offer a HUGE selection (growing everyday) of beer. 3. The owner/manager/whatever loves to chat, but will also let you sit for hours and won't bother. 4. They offer alternatives to beer, such as Woodchuck Apple Cider or various brand of pear and pomegranite cider. 5. They are usually willing to change the TV channel if you ask. All in all, this place has the makings of a great neighborhood bar. I was meeting with 2 friends on a weekly basis to eat, drink, discuss movies and books, and generally forget about work, etc. One caviat - they use a bit too much mayo on some of the sandwiches. Watch this if you don't like mayo. A friend had the "mediteranean" sandwich and did not like it. But those are the only issues I've ever heard.

Jenna V. brought this unassuming place to my attention. I have visited twice thus far, and had a devil of a time deciding which beer(s) to purchase. Their beer selection is MINDBOGGLING! I cannot speak to the food, because I have yet to actually eat here. But it easily deserves a five star rating for the beer. In a Tualatin strip mall... who'd a thunk it?

  • Colleen J.

Beer, beer, and more beer. The staff is nice, the sandwiches are good (but not special) and the salads are a waste of money but....BEER! BEER! BEER! You want a good beer for a great price, heres the place.

  • Alex K.

The food was ok, they did not have the selection of beers on tap I was hoping for. They have quite a few bottled beers but the selection is nothing compared to Johns market in Multnoma Village. Do yourself a favor and grab a sand which from a good sub place, and find a rare beer at Johns market, go home and save some cash.

  • Linda J.

It wasn't terrible but it didn't wow me either. They have a great selection of beer! Food was just okay. Sandwich was good but made with the end piece of the loaf and the Chinese chicken salad although delicious in taste was made with old lettuce that was starting to brown. I even picked out slimy lettuce from it. No need to return or try it unless you really want beer.

I've been here a few times but havent tried the food. Just been in to pick up a few beers. They have a nice selection of beers from the Pacific NW and beyond, actually their selection is quite good for the size of the place. Havent seen anybody eating here both times ive been in but I'd like to come and try some of their food sometime, looks like they have a few good beers on tap as well.

Birra Deli's name hides few surprises; they have traditional deli food and beer. They offer seven rotating taps and a few hundred bottles. When you buy six bottles to go, the price drops by twenty-five percent, or about five percent over average retail price. A few times a month, brewery tastings are offered for free! I came in last week to grab one beer and caught the whole Full Sail lineup! The food is good snack food, the selection is better than nearby grocery stores and the tastings are fun. I would feel dirty if I didn't shop here at least once a month to do my part to keep this shop open.

We tried the Mediterranean Albacore Tuna and Cheesesteak sandwiches. We had to ask for a side of mayo because the tuna was bone dry. The cheesesteak sandwich was nothing like I expected. Since there are a million different takes on the classic cheesesteak that's understandable, but the bottom line was that this one didn't have much flavor ... not enough meat, too many green peppers. Definitely go to the Birra Deli if you want to be dazzled by their amazing selection of beer, but I wouldn't recommend going for the food.

Promo night is awesome! Service is awesome! Beer is awesome! And I would really like to put an emphasis on how nice and helpful the service was. I'm glad I went, I can't wait to go back, and I recommend it to any and all beer lovers!

Sandwiches are pretty decent, vast beer selection, I like the place because it is an oasis in an otherwise uninspiring part of town-- tualatin. They apparently have some amazing beer tasting and food deal every third thursday which i unfortunately can never make it to. The owner is a really nice guy and loves talking about beer-- i learned a few things from my conversation with him.

You Only Get One Chance to Retain a Customer. Called several times (3) to place an order to go, rang and rang and rang, understand it was lunch time and they were busy, but maybe owner/management had too little staff on. Finally got trough, ordered. Showed up to get the 3 item order and had him check the bag to make sure everything was there. He said it everything was there. go back to the office, opened the salad and suprise no dressing (no time in my lunch hour to go back let alone the gas money spending doing it). The salad it's self looked as if they were trying to save a little money, 4 very small (tiny) strips of chicken on a bed of mostly shredded lettuce with a few nice pieces of mixed greens thrown on top. My guess was they were trying to save money by using the less expensive shredded to fill and top off with the mixed greens (which were wilty). Used a group on which worked to get me in there, but I won't be back. Better places to eat around this area. Ii called to let them know they forgot the dressing and he was very sorry and offered me a free salad when i came back. thought that was nice. If you like beer, however, they had a ton to pick from. (lunch hour, office kind of frowns on drinking on the job. :)

I love this place! My boyfriend and I have been here a handful of times so far and we are pretty much addicted now. Trying all of the new beers is enough to get us in, but the italian sandwich is seriously the best sandwich I have ever had! But for the sake of a review, my boyfriend has enjoyed every sandwich he's tried and recommends the Reuben.

  • Adam B.

I had a turkey salami sandwich that was pretty good, I have nothing negative to say about it at all, but it's hopefully it's pretty darn hard to mess up sandwich. Looked like they had a decent sandwich menu too. Let's get down to business though. With a name like Birra Deli, you're going there for the beer hopefully...? I will admit that they had a really good selection of bottled beer, micros and imports. I was disappointed that they don't have anything on draught though. Maybe it's just me, but the bottled beers I wanted to take home and try later. If they would have had some taps, I could hang out there and enjoy myself for a bit.

I bought a groupon for $7.00 which gave me a $15.00 credit. We went and ordered the german bratwurst and the all american bratwurst. Well it was pretty disappointing, the bratwurst was very salty and uneatable. We took it back and the manager said, Oh I just warm it up, ALERT, not fresh, probable microwaved, Hum!!! She did replace it with a Philly cheese sandwich and it was much better, however very small portions. No side dishes (chips, fries) unless you want to pay extra ($5.00 for sandwich only)! The beer was cold and very good but I can get a cold beer anywhere for less. Happy hour is from 2:00 to 4:00, WHAT, I get off of work at 4:00!!! . Bottom Line is STAY the HELL away!!!!

Went here recently and recommend everyone to stop by and try this place!! For the size of the place, they have a GREAT selection of beer (and good deal on to-go beer prices as well)!! All the bottled beers are grouped by style (stouts, porters, wheats, etc) and they have some draft selections as well. The sandwiches were tasty, they even have different sandwiches on special, depending on the day of week. The staff were very nice and friendly in helping to answer any questions. It's a nice, cool, and comfortable place to come check out during the warming summer months!

  • Todd M.

I went into this new pub/deli to check out their expansive beer selection and get a take out menu. The man behind the counter was very friendly and knew his beer. The following day, my wife and I got a couple of sandwiches to go. She had the Italian which she reported as okay and I the Turkey Club which for some reason was served cold. It was, however an above average sandwich. They do use high quality ingredients and it shows up in the flavor. I'd go back but I'd rather stay and have one of their unusual beers along with the meal. Oh...and don't plan on bringing your minor children...not allowed in at all.

    (3)
  • Scott L.

very interesting place... I'd go for the beer and avoid the foold - unless you have a coupon... The sandwiches were average... nothing special and a bit overpriced (thus the coupon suggestion).

  • Shaun M.

I bought a Groupon here a long time ago and didn't quite realize what it was, so as a non beer drinker, I'm just basing it on the deli part of the experience. The interior was cool, but something about the vibe didn't quite mesh with me. The food was mediocre at best, the sandwich I got was small and the chicken tasted completely dried out. The service was ok, not outgoing and not warm but nothing rude either. Seemed like a few patrons knew the employee working but everything felt very cold. For a smaller dining area, would have expected something more friendly.

    (2)
  • Melissa W.

If you can't find it on tap they have bottles you can buy to drink there or to being home with you. A great selection to choose from. Customer service is just ok.

  • Misty W.

The variety is amazing and the sandwiches rock, too! I actually stumbled in because I thought it was a Mexican hole in the wall that sold goat tacos. Huh. Who knew that the word for 'goat' in Spanish was so similar to 'beer' in Italian. Thanks for being my favorite language mistake!

Mrs. BDB scored a couple of Groupon deals for this place, $15 worth of grub for $7, so off we went on Memorial Day, for a nosh after some shopping and prior to a home grilling session. Birra Deli serves "American style" deli sandwiches and sells beer, on and off-site. I have to say, we're not much for "sub-type" sandwiches to being with - (or heroes, grinders, hoagies), but we knew that's what we were in for at Birra Deli, and we were hungry! I went with the traditional Italian (pictured below) (Salami, pepperoni, provolone), but sans the vegetables. The Mrs. had the traditional club. Both were served on white rolls (our request) tho other breads and add-ons are available. Birra Deli also has a little condiment station which is fun, featuring house made mustards and a variety of pickled vegetables. I'm sure we'll be back; in addition to the Groupon deal, Birra Deli frequently has offerings in Coupon Clipper, but even at full price, it's good grub and a good value.

Ita all about the amazing beer selection. Outside of that the food is horrible, I ordered a BLT and they served me a microwaved ham and cheese; WTF. Eat before you arrive or after, however come for an amazing a stellar beer selection.

  • Shannon G.

Such a good beer selection! They have something for everybody and reasonable prices. The good is good too. We tend to order chips for the group when here. This place is also really good in the summer. You can sit outside and enjoy your beer in the sun.

  • Cory M.

Ok, but small environment. But their beer prices are pretty ridiculous. Charging over 20$ for a growler fill of something that costs 12$ at almost every other fill station. They're truly crazy charging that much for something I can grab a six pack of, which contains more beer than a fill, for 8.99 at Fred Meyer? Give me a break. Won't ever go to this establishment again.

Smoking tables right to the side of the entrance, non-smoking in front of the entrance. I don't understand it, I don't know how it's legal

I have been here a handful of times. Good selection of beers in refrigerators, decent food. It's a deli with beer on tap and some TVs. You can buy single beers, but many are missing prices. Tonight, I got 12 beers on 25% discount for $40, 3 were larger bottles, the rest were regular size. I'm not sure what cost what, but now I have a variety of beer to take home. 3 stars means A-ok and that sums up how I feel about this place.

  • Joanne M.

Such a cool place to hang out. Great healthy sandwiches, salads and soup. Friendly staff and such a large selection of beer. Amazing! Discount on beers to go. Can't beat their prices! Great keg prices and service on kegs.

This place is great if you are on a quest for beer obscurity. They do indeed have a wide selection of brews that are well organized. So suffice to say the gotta the "Birra" down. The Deli part needs some work though. I've been in here for sandwiches several times. They are overpriced and under meat-ed. Seriously, they majorly skimp on the meat. A regular lunch-goer was getting lunch at the same time that we were and made a comment about how they keep going lean on the sandwich stuffing and they just laughed him off. I don't think we will be back for food anytime soon. Deli fail.

Alright Birra Deli. I always appreciate a business that listens to what their customers have to say. I had a great response to my last review and I could tell some improvements were made on my last visit. Kudos to your management and your tap list. Big fan. A 20 oz beer for something like $4? Don't mind if I do. We went back recently and I could see!!! The bat cave was gone! Let there be light! The bf and I debated, he thought 50% of the merch was now tagged, I thought it was more like 90%, so we agreed on 70%. It seemed like it was mostly the seasonals that weren't tagged yet. Plus the employees are happy to check a price for you. Very friendly service. And now that I can actually comment on the prices I would say they are on par with other bottle shops in town but what really makes it a deal is the 15% discount on the to-go bottles. I didn't find any super rare white whales there, but I did see a lot of bottles around that I don't see at every shop in town, it's a really solid selection. They have a lovely assortment of cider too! I enjoyed the French Dip which did the horseradish just right and my guy had the pastrami and corned beef hash. Both were great and I'd order either one of them on a return visit. Happy Hour was also running from 7-10 that night. Insanity I tell you. It's a decent place to watch a game be it football or basketball as they have two screens, so they diplomatically showed both on our last visit. I was more than a little into the football game as evidenced by the patron who asked my bf if I was from Salem or out in public for the first time. (If you have watched football with me before you know it's not pretty, my neighbors loathe football season for this reason). Don't worry, we bought lots of beer to go to make up for my apparent lack of self control. Thanks Birra Deli for listening to your customers and also for letting me embarrass myself in public in your establishment.

Awesome selection of beers in the store as well as 19 beers on tap that rotate weekly. Also one of the best chicken quesadillas I have had.

BEST AU JUS IN THE WORLD. Their mini sandwiches (2"? 3"?) are so so so good and they've got a lot of unusual beers in coolers. They also have 5-10 pours on tap. Sports on the TV, small storefront. I am a fan, indeed. It's too bad it's all the way out in Tualatin. But I love this place from top to bottom.

We love this place. They have awesome beer, tons of it and their rotating taps change often. The staff is great and always really helpful. They're always happy to pour a sample. Birra Deli rocks!

From looking at this place online, I thought I was going to be able to come here to watch some baseball playoffs with a nice sandwich and beer. They had a bunch of different beer options and some good food options as well. I was quite pleased with my food and beer. The environment was fine, nothing magical, but that wasn't really what I was expecting or shooting for. The thing that kind of got me was that the sports action was on, but it was muted so the workers could watch CNN and get some slanted political news for the presidential election. I don't go to places like this to have a beer and sandwich and talk politics and get all fired up, as the workers were over the topics being covered. I pay for the food and beer to relax and get away from everything that's normally stressful in life. This place didn't really do the trick for me because of this. I still give it 3 stars though because of the food and beer options. I may come back here to maybe pick up another sandwich later on, but it will definitely be a to go order if I do.

My husband and I went here on a Groupon ($7 for $14). This place doesn't have a lot of seating, it's causual and has a large beer selection! We went during lunch and it wasn't too crowded. They get the food out fast. I had a 6" BLT and it had tons of bacon, lettuce and avocado in it! My husband had the Tuna Salad sandwich which was stuffed with tuna. Everything tasted good and again did I mention the beer selection?!! We will definately be returning:)

Very good beer selection, but bad (or not so great food). If you are going to this place, go for their beer selection: huge. I have only tried one new beer: Winterfish Ale, which was on tap and was great. As we were hungry, we ordered food: Chicken kabob skewers (was bad, the chicken & even the veggies were stale), the Asian Chicken Wrap (was decent). Service is good. Could have gone with 2 stars, becuase of the food, but this joint is more for the booze.

Rotating taps and a large selection of bottled beers for purchase. Reminds me of John's Market in Multnomah village except they have a deli..... also it's much cleaner.... We ordered a club sandwich, cup of chili and side ceasar salad. The food and beer were both pretty good. They have video poker and a few TV's. We will definitely be back to try the rotating beers and have lunch, probably wouldn't watch a whole game here though... the beer would get pricey.

Good sandwiches, great beer, and the beer tastings are the most fun you can possibly have for $5. Try the Banana bread beer. It's kinda ridiculous

I've been a regular customer here since I first moved to Tualatin six months ago. I think this is really a 4-star place if you're reviewing the sandwiches alone - I always get the Italian sub with a few modifications. But it gets the coveted fifth star for their beer selection. They have six rotating draft selections which are always tasty. You're not going to find Bud, Miller, and Coors on tap here. I had Southern Tier's Unearthly IPA with my lunch today. In addition to the sandwiches and good tap selection, they also have about 200 different bottles in their shop. Every time I have been in they have offered a 10% discount on any six bottle purchase to go. Also a plus. But the cool thing is: if the draft selection isn't doing it for you, you can grab a bottled beer out of one of their coolers and have them open and serve it for a nominal $1 fee. They also host a great event every third Thursday of the month where they feature a different brewery. They charge $5 for entry, but that gets you a flight of beers from the featured brewery as well as unlimited cold sandwiches that they keep serving on platters throughout the event. Very good deal if you ask me. I've only made it out for one of those events when Heater Allen was pouring, but it was fun and informative.

The selection of beers is sometimes overwhelming to choose from. The tap list is always changing so you never know what you will find. This week I found an excellent Porter.
