Working in Tualatin for the week, and I remembered a decent Hawaiian grill was in the area. Stopped by and wasn't disappointed. I had their teriyaki chicken, which was decent, not the best I've had but hey it was $7. Came with a good amount of rice on the side as well as macaroni salad and was atop a bed of cabbage. Quick and tasty lunch, and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Will return for more.

Great prices, can easily fill up on food for under $8.00

We ordered take out from there and it was really good. We are old school Noho's fans and this hit the Hawaiian spot. The beef ribs were good and the macaroni salad was the bomb. My wife got the orange chicken and it had great flavor. Great flavors and good sized portions. We are definitely planning to try different items and experiment.

Recently my husband and I ate at this restaurant. We both ordered the orange chicken. We were NOT impressed! The orange chicken was so over done it broke our forks. When my husband went back to speak with the owner, she was very rude. We ended up spending $21.00 on a meal that we couldn't eat and the owner refused to give us a refund. I don't recommend eating at this restaurant. Horrible food and customer service!!!!!

The person tonight was not very "Aloha" minded. Felt like we were bothering them. We'll see how the food goes. Compares to all the other Hawaiian restaurant I've been to in OR, CA, NV, and HI this is not on the top of list. Just came here to get a rice plate because the other place was closed.

Went here the other day for some lunchtime Kahlua pig. Good food, with lots of sauces which was nice. Atmosphere isnt as nice as the other Hawaiian place on the lake but I'd say these guys have better food.

I love this place! The food is excellent! The orange chicken is one of my favorite and the macaroni salad is awesome. I was surprised to find it here and now I'm addicted.

I sadly wasn't impressed. The only reason I give this place the 3rd star is because the staff was actually Hawaiian and the service was nice! The food really needs more flavor and more portions for the price. I have to say when they are so close to Roxy's and there are food carts in the area like 808, you have to step up your game! The Shoyu Chicken was dried out and needed a lot more garlic and pepper. The spare ribs were bland, and the rice was overcooked. What islander overcooks the rice?! Maybe it was an off day, but really I won't come back unless I have no other options, I don't feel like cooking it myself, AND someone else is buying. :(

I've been coming here since I was little and this place still has the best chicken Katsu! It's perfectly breaded with Panko and golden brown. The Kailua pork sandwiches are great, and If you're in Tualatin, this place is a must!

I'm bias, yes I am! Well now that my favorite Maui Camp 3 Cafe is closed, I headed back to this place real fast! :) - My babe won't touch Spam Musubi with a 10-foot pole. hahaha GOOD!!! MORE FOR ME! :) I LOVE IT SO YUMMY, WARM & HAPPY! :) - I ordered the same old Aloha Beef -- VERY GOOD! - My babe ordered Kalua Pork - he was happy with it! :) Service --- as always === wonderful, friendly and adorable. Adorable? Yes!!! I said it! One of the staff came by to see if we like the food, I told him that my babe won't eat Spam. He walked closer to my babe, was sincerely concern and spoke softly "why not, it's so good, the whole island loves it." My babe of course had the look (to me) --- The "I'm going to beat your a**" look! hahaha

Before heading back to Eastern Oregon we decided to grab some grub. We happened to be heading back to I5 from Sherwood and I wanted something other than fast food. I spied this little hole in the wall when looking at the passing selection from the passenger window. Having eaten Hawaiian type pulled pork and such before, I felt this would be a decent option. It was practically empty when my boyfriend and I walked up to the counter to place our orders, so the orders came out swiftly. I asked for a small portion of the two sauce selections in to-go cups, and I was happily provided four - two of each. I ordered the pulled pork and it came with two small scoops of white rice and a side of macaroni salad. The pulled pork by itself is, well, rather bland. You almost have to add the teriyaki or homemade Katsu sauce (I am partial to the teriyaki). The rice was rice, a bit on the mushy side. The macaroni salad was surprisingly good, probably my favorite portion of the meal. My boyfriend ordered the teriyaki beef, and ate all of it so I'm guessing it was good - I wasn't in the mood for a bite this time. If you're looking for quick Hawaiian BBQ, this isn't a bad choice.

I'm sitting here, staring at this mess inside of my to-go container, wondering how they could make this taste the way it does. I hate to waste food, but I don't think I'd even give these leftovers to my dog. Service was non-existent. Everyone I encountered was terribly rude and bitter. I suppose I would have the same disposition if I had to eat/be around this smell all day. Save yourself the time and money. SERIOUSLY. I think I'll go brush my teeth now.

Great food, good serving sizes. Decor and seating are not so creative or comfortable, but the food so far had made this a spot for repeat visits! Teri chicken (we get it with all veggies, no rice) is always spot on; we have not gotten the deep fried options, just to avoid the calories, but they always look great and smell even better! Open Sundays, too! Recommended!

Perhaps this place is hit or miss. Perhaps I've always just gotten lucky. I've been here maybe 4 times, over 6 years or so. I see some reviewers complaining about dry meat, etc. but every time I've dined at the Aloha Grill, my meal has been outstanding. the Kalua Pig is always moist and tender, the Katsu is crispy and delicious. I like that they have bottles of their sauces available for you to doctor up your dishes just the way you like it. While Roxy's seems to be the trendy Hawaiian spot these days, I much prefer Aloha Grill. Also, the Roxy's in Tualatin doesn't have Spam Musubi, while Aloha grill has AWESOME Musubi, available every day. What self-respecting Hawaiian joint doesn't offer Musubi? I also like that this is a small family-run business, and the owners are always very nice and friendly. Aloha!

My initial heart-stopping excitement at finding well-established (they've been here nearly 10 years, apparently) Ono grinds deep in white bread SW was tempered by the limited menu, the small portions, and the---shall we say, tepid attitude of the wait staff which warmed noticeably upon receiving their tip. It is what it is. Some people simply won't give up genuine human warmth w/o the promise of immediate and lopsided compensation. So there ya go people, live it up. Mahalo!

This will be the last time eating Aloha Grill for me, first off I ordered over the phone for take-out, the gal who answered was the worst customer service I've seen in years. Answered and spoke in a way such as... Phone line ringing (Gal: What) I was blown away. They seemed to be upset I wanted to put money in their businesses pocket. Therefor I've given up on Aloha grill. Also the same gal threw out my change between her and I. Not too professional in my books. Look other places for a bite to eat. Ps: My Orange Chicken tasted as if a skunks odor was present... Awful

Started out as a good place but has gone downhill in my opinion even though I don't really like rice and meat it's a boring and bland dish. My wife really Liked them but does not eat there anymore in the last 4 months

First and foremost, I am ecstatic with how Aloha Grill actually has the Hawaiian Sun green tea with ginseng. Being one of my favorite drinks from Hawaii, I often find it hard to find. It is the best green tea. With that being said, Aloha Grill has excellent prices and a variety of fantastic Hawaiian food. My only gripe is that the spam musubi is $2.95, although even that is pretty cheap compared to Bamboo Grove's. I consider myself a huge fan of Hawaiian food and I condone Aloha Grill! Edit: bonus points for getting two scoops of rice and only one of mac salad.

Really, the only thing I like at this place is the manapua & even those are average. There are a few other places nearby that are better (Mama's & Roxy's).

Beware of their ISLAND BURGER! First off, my husband made the order at the restaurant. He took the food home. Upon opening the bag, he noticed that the burger we ordered was missing. The burger was for me. My husband called the restaurant and they apologized. It wasn't a big deal, since it was only 5 minutes away... and so we drove back to pick it up. When we arrived home, I got to enjoy the burger... Except, after an hour, I started experiencing stomach cramps and a few trips to the bathroom. I guess it wasn't worth driving back to get that missing burger after all! Lesson learned, no more burgers from this place!

Kalua pork, teri chicken and loco moco is the best! Always gonna come back and eat here for an Hawaiian taste!!

    (5)

Just discovered moco loco! I've tried lots of different Hawaiian places and usually get your basic terriyaki style chicken or beef, but never again. Hooked on moco loco.

  • Pavan S.

Great Spam musubi and love the option of adding egg I appreciate the combo plates since it's hard for me to pick just one dish. My wife is a huge fan of their Saimin noodle soups. I also like the array of sauces. Service is usually warm and friendly when the gal works at the counter. Only had the guy once and he was a little chilly. I have to call out Michael R's review with the ducks and the 2 pics. He's reviewing Roxy's Island Grill but somehow thought it was Aloha Grill. The picture even shows the Roxy logo clearly. I even pointed it out to Yelp, but they still keep it up.

A pleasant surprise. Was slightly discouraged when seeing 3.5 stars for an overall rating, but figured it was due to an overall lack of ratings. Great customer service, good pricing, and a flexible menu. Tried the Kalbi beef and kahlua pork. Beef was decent and pork as perfect. Mac salad was also very good. I'll definitely be back again.

Hawaiian food is generally characterized by having a widely diverse range of taste due to a rich native history mixed with the influence from many different foreign cuisines. It wasn't just Westerners that snuck in an ingredient here or there (before that the Polynesians), but also Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and so on. Each culture contributing something entirely unique. Ultimately by blending it all together you get meats with a deep and tender texture, juicy fruits meeting roasted vegetables, and sauces and spices that range from the colorfully sweet, to the creamy white, to the mouth-burning spicy. That may be one of the reasons that Hawaiian food is so universally enjoyed by so many different types of people. It is because of the reasons listed above and the adherence to those details that I rate Aloha Grill so highly. For the first time in a long while, I was honestly (and completely) taken back by the sheer quality and depth of flavor presented by what appeared to be your average eatery. Found in a rather bland shopping complex in a business district outside of Portland, this local establishment truly left me wanting to come back for more. So I did, as many times as I could while travelling for work. And while my attached pictures don't do the food justice, I'll try to quickly describe what made those two dishes (and this restaurant) special. Meal One: Shrimp, beef, and Ahi tuna poke. I'm pretty sure the combination of these things is where dreams come from. The battered shrimp was light on the crust and without the over-saturation of oils and grease. No common feat for a dish priced below twenty dollars. It was accompanied by seasoned beef, which was cooked with a light amount of soy and was minimal on the use of salt. To my surprise, it was very tender and perfectly peppered. Both the shrimp and beef were placed on a bed of shredded lettuce and were served with two scoops of white rice with sauce. But it's the ahi tuna that really stood out here. Sushi grade in it's freshness, it too was obviously marinated in some sort of light soy. This time though, you could taste the ever-so-slight addition of what I guessed was green onions and garlic. Being tossed with cabbage and lettuce, it balanced out so well that I had to resist the urge to inhale it sideways. The dinner plate itself, plus this "appetizer", came with mayonnaise-mac salad and tartar sauce. Meal Two: As delightful as my first dinner was, the second time around I decided to mix it up by trying the char-grilled short ribs with a side of spam musubi. Again taking me by surprise, the beef was spot on in terms of tenderness. Usually you'd find a plate like this to have a good level of gristle... but that was absolutely not the case from my experience. Whatever combination of sweet sauces and oils it was cooked with greatly amplified the natural flavor. The spam musubi? Amazing. Spam is one of those things that is easy to get wrong largely because it's such a processed and sodium drenched product. But when lightly grilled and wrapped with rice and nori dried seaweed, it can blow your mind. To sum it up, I'm far from being an expert on things/foods Hawaiian. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist or professional chef to realize that a lot of love went into the recipes at Aloha Grill. You might think me crazy, but the food offered here is something magical. Maybe the planets happened to be aligned during my visits, but regardless of the reasoning this place is an absolute must try. Don't sell yourself short and miss out on that.

Man this is probably the better Hawaiian food in the area. Fresh alternative to Roxys. They freshly cook your meal when you order it, and it comes quick. They give pretty nice size portions too. I always make sure to call in my order as it can be busy from time to time and they don't have a lot of staff. I get the combo and it's awesome every time down to the sauce and mac salad. Fairly priced and in a nice location near the new Cabelas. Try it out.

An attractive looking place. Smells are great when you walk in. Don't EVER order the kallbi rib plate. 3 TINY ribs and a lot of rice. I called and spoke to the manager and complained. He blamed it on the owner. I asked that the owner call me. Of course, she didn't. Will NEVER go back...and you should never go either!! Too bad...I like the food, just horribly tiny portions and the owner just doesn't care. That's the most disappointing part of the whole thing.

DISGUSTING. So greasy and just tasted like Chinese food with sugar added. If you've ever gone to Hawaii and you suddenly find yourself craving that sweet, authentic goodness that you remember from that trip, don't go here because you will leave heartbroken.

Way better than the Roxys grill on the lake. Great katsu and best Hawaiian food other than Bamboo Grove. Between this and Matshita's you can't go wrong.

This is my favorite Hawaiian restaurant! All I care about is the macaroni salad, I'm obsessed! Usually I just order the teri chicken, but everything I have had here is delicious!

  • Michelle S.

YUM!! Weird that some people have had a bad experience here. I loved it. The service was great and the food was awesome. If you love spam, they got it! I had the Spicy chicken. For those who posted it was too spicy, maybe you shouldn't order anything with the word spicy. There are also a couple islanders that work there that made me feel like being back on the island. Some people take that as "illiterate" I guess.

    (4)
  • Terry C.

Flavors are good as usual, they did not put teriyaki sauce in my takeout order even after directly asking for it. Booooooo.! We have always done pretty well here, I still need to try the spam, haven't had that since I was a kid.

I guess I should have gotten what is most popular. I was not impressed with the entrée I got. The macaroni was bland and average and I didn't finish my whole meal. I will stick to Roxy's for sure they are really good. The chicken barley had any sauce on it the rice was pretty good, Spam musabi bland as well. Just my opinion won't go again. Bleu

Meh. I have only been here once and was not impressed. Being from Hawaii, I expect a lot more from Hawaiian restaurants. Especially if the cooks/wait staff are clearly not from Hawaii. My boyfriend (Oregonian), however, found this place to be great. Will probably be back again since it is relatively close to my new place. I might have just not ordered the right thing or came at the right time. Idk.

I only come here for the Tuna Poke and the Kahlua pork. It is consistent and tastes amazing every time I have been there. I am hesitant to try them any where else because I feel like it just won't compare!

  • Joel W.

Well, they were quick, and the food was tolerable. I think they had an uphill battle to fight with me though, as I was engaged with Hawaiian food by Local Boyz in Corvallis, and had recently had some Roxy's. The mac salad was really bland, just mac, mayo, and something crunchy with no flavor. All the meats were really salty, which may be common, but is not what I'm used to - I like Hawaiian meats because they tend to be sweet, and have some flavor. For a quick lunch, it think was probably worth it, but I'd prefer one of the previously mentioned Hawaiian restaurants.

  • Kamie K.

This place gives you huge helpings so bring a friend! I've been there several times and my favorite is the Katsu and my husband loves the Loco Moco. Ask for a side of their delicious kimchee. One of the owners is Korean so it's the best!

I can't quite figure out why I don't like this place more. It is locally owned, food choices are more interesting than the typical chains in the burbs, and they have cute Hawaiian themed decor (mural of the islands, bamboo, etc.), but somehow nothing makes me excited to return. It is missing that indefinable "wow" factor. Every time I go there I also think it is too pricey for the average lunch spot, so I go on weekends when I have a special craving for something on the menu. Usually it is when I'm feeling a little under the weather and want the comfort of their Saimin noodle soup. Nice chunks of chicken in a savory broth with noodles. I've also had their Spicy Teri Chicken and Aloha Chicken and they are good but not pound on the table fantastic. For the sides, I usually choose the veggies over the macaroni salad. I prefer the Hawaiian dishes at Bamboo Grove and the cheap teriyaki at Mashita's across town.

Save a special kid from the Ukraine overcooking some chicken, and using canned pineapple to prepare a "tropical" dinner for his family.... this Is without question THE WORST Hawaiian food around... The lady at the counter is extremely unfriendly, and she acted like getting an extra scoop of the mac salad (which was mayo, and ya' know.. macaroni) was like performing open heart surgery. I would write more but I'm currently contemplating purging all I've just eaten from them... Save your money and your time and just go up the street to Roxxy's Hawaiian on the lake, which is not open on Sunday, hence the vial crap I just ate...

I have recently been thrust into the world of Hawaiian food by two friends of mine, thus I have been to Bamboo Grove and Noho. Some people are born unto Hawaiian food and others have it thrust upon them. I pass this place often, usually on the way to Taco Bell and often often wondered about it. The reviews are were okay enough so while on my way to Taco Bell I made an unexpected turn of the wheel and decided to try something new. I am madly impetuous like that you know. I walked in and the place was hopping, which made me feel better. The nice lady at the front counter was very patient with me as I scanned the menu for an idea of what I wanted. Kalua pork or teriyaki chicken? wait, what is this? Combination plates! What? I would like the combo called "Maui Girl". Sigh. My plate arrived at my table (bonus) and I was at first a little surprised by the small scoops of rice but just then the aroma of the Kalua pork hit my olfactory senses. I decided to try a little of everything first. The macaroni salad was first and it was quite excellent, maybe even better than Bamboo Grove. The teriyaki chicken was excellent, tender and a good light flavor not too sweet or overwhelming. The rice was nice and sticky, I added a touch of soy sauce to it. Now the Kalua pork.... oh my goodness. I heard angels sing, a shaft of heavenly light shown down upon me and a small tear formed in my left eye. I saw there were people squirting a sauce on their pork and it said BBQ on it. I couldn't fathom using BBQ sauce on this wonderful shredded pork, but like usual curiosity got the better of me and I grabbed a bottle. It was not your typical tomato laden sauce, it added a even more smokey hint to the meat. While it didn't need it I was glad I tried it anyway, it made it different, but not better. By the end of the meal I was full and glad there was not heaping mounds of rice on the plate. I sat for a minute and pondered the $9.80 I had just spent on lunch. Was it worth that much? I guess in today's world you have to factor that lunch can cost $10 on average unless you fall into the clutches of McKing-Bell in the Box. So yes, I will be back for special occasions but probably not as a three day a week habit. But that pork....

  • Sung L.

Had the Saimin Noodles with beef. Not very good ... very bland. Noodles tasted like it came from a box and the meat was a little chewy. The Kalua pork was actually pretty good ... nice smokey flavor. Mac salad was fine. The rice had an odd taste ... they added something to it, but I'm not sure why you'd flavor white rice.

It's good. It's definetly not the worst Hawaiian food I have had but I have definetly have had better. The service/ young lady was friendly and she brought my plate and food to me. Overall a great place to grab a bite to eat.

I tried their saimin noodles. Bare noodles w/ some green onion with a lot of soup for $4. The owner(? person that was working) said she made it extra hot by microwaving it. That surely warmed me up. :)

Standard Hawaiian food served on mainland. I go here because the lady behind the counter is super nice and friendly. Always has a great attitude and isn't afraid to strike up a conversation. I usually get the Aloha Teri plate...and I love the sauce they make in the Sri Racha bottle (just sour cream and sri racha, I believe). And I can't get enough of the macaroni salad. Decently priced for an occasional stop. Not something I'd do too often though.

Kahlua Pork Loco Moco. That is all.

  • Margo G.

They were very accomodating when I asked for extra veggies instead of rice. I know I know! How can I have kahlua pork without rice? Well don't hate but I just wasn't in the mood for rice that day. It was still good and had great flavor with just veggies. The macaroni salad was good and I wanted to put the orange sauce on everything. I love hot sauce and this creamy version hit the spot. Price was a bit more than I expected for a lunch spot. Service was friendly and fast. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Pretty good loco moko and damn good spam musubi. Plenty of rice and the mac salad was the best I've had on the mainland. I'll be back to try the Kahlua pork.

I enjoyed a visit to the Aloha Grill with friends. I was confused at the overhead menu as I usually am. It seems that when I have to look up all the blood runs out of my head and I have difficulty making a decision. I ordered what seems to be their (or a standard in Hawaii) pulled pork. It was nice that it wasn't drenched in sauce. It was tender, well pulled, and had an awesome flavor. What I later found out was that it was drenched in pork fat. It was yummy but I paid for it later. I was privy to a taste of the spicy chicken. It was delectable and I'll be returning for that dish. The dinning room was café style, get your own fixin's and ware, and had an awesome walk painting of the islands. I am not sure this will be my main watering hole but I won't steer anyone away.

This place is always a hit for me. My wife and I had the Aloha Kalbi Ribs. They were seasoned perfectly. Super yummy. The Fried Shrimp were crisp and cooked just right. Just got back from Hawaii, but missing the Kalua Pork here. The portions are always generous. This place is extremely clean, which tells me that the owners care and take pride in their business.

My wife and I just had this place for the 1st time. I was really disappointed with the portion size for the money. I got the orange chicken. It was good flavor but the price was almost 8 bucks for a really small portion size. I would have been happy to $5 for it on a lunch special, but as a dinner? You have to be kidding me! We will not be going back. Oh and on the side was 2 big scoops of rice,(good but cheep to make) and a small small portion of Macaroni salad(cheep to make as well). The profit margin at 8 bucks must be like 90%.

Tried this place for the first time today. Had the Kahlua Pork and Teriyaki beef. My wife had the same except her plate had the chicken. I was very impressed with the flavors and the quality of the beef. No gristle!! Macaroni salad was great and their teriyaki sauce is some of the best. Haven't had it Island style since I was in Kauai! It's a great find and we will be back!

Disbelief, shock, and awe at all the people who rank this above Bamboo Grove. For the price it certainly has it beat. One thing to be thankful for is that Aloha grill, like BG, has a consistent level of quality. This summer I had to make regular trips to clackamas and would stop in for all things Hawaiian from a real Ohana bunch. *puts on Nit-Picky hat* --- It's just, well the chicken. I expect chicken thighs to not be that good. Slop any seasoned chicken thigh on my plate with some chili sauce and I'll down it. When the menu says "chicken breast" my expectation soars. You know what I'm talking about? Those restaurants where the chicken is all smooth and doesn't really seem like real breast. (real boobs!) When you see a real one they just stand out. The quality is there when you have real sliced chicken breast. In fact, if you're still not with me try Ohana on Sandy blvd. For their BBQ Chicken and Teriyaki they will sometimes whole breast without slicing it. Breasts aside, we just can't get off this topic, Aloha is a great lunch spot for its region and offers a unique meal for the price. I'll definitely be going back again and again on my drives out to Oregon City/Clackamas. Well worth the diversion for some tasty Hawaiian grinds.

Finally stopped in at this place after passing it multiple times. The lady there was very kind and helpful on my meal selection since I had NO clue where to start. I ended up trying a little bit of most everything. Some flavors were good, others quite bland. Lots of sauces to choose from. They also have small tables for outdoor seating if you'd like. Overall it was an interesting experience but I haven't been particularly compelled to run back and try it.

Very good food... I love the MOCO LOCO.. I tend not to get the Teriyaki to go because they are stingy about letting you put more sauce on it. So I stopped purchasing anything I wanted to add Teryaki to. The first two times I went there the lady made rude comments when I was adding sauce to my togo container.

Even though it is out of the way for me to go here in Tualatin, this place has yummy food, friendly service, and a cute atmosphere. I think this place blows Bamboo Grove and Noho's out of the water. I have eaten the loco moco here and it was one of the best I've had, and I was born and raised on Oahu. The gravy was flavorful and meat was well-seasoned. The traditional Hawaiian fixins (lau lau, kalua pork, etc.) were also good.

I've been eying this place for months. I had to give it try yesterday. It is the best Chicken Teriyaki I have had in the area, and I think I have tried them all. I will eventually try everything on the menu. I am a little scarred of the MOCO LOCO though. The lady who took my order was very friendly and attentive. The place is very clean with a nice atmosphere. It's a little spendy but worth it, IMO. I'll be back soon.

I grew up next door to a Hawaiian family and this place brings back all those great memories. From the Kahlua pork to the sticky white rice. this place is heaven. the chicken katsu is also very good. The owners are friendly and helpful in picking out what I should at when I can't make up my mind.

I've been to this place only a few times so far, but I like it quite a bit. I haven't tried a lot of their stuff, but their katsu chicken is amazing. The prices are pretty reasonable, maybe a bit too high, but not by much. I also love the macaroni salad that comes with the meals, good stuff. Just stay away from their orange chicken, I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard nothing but bad things about it from my friends.

I only come here for the Tuna Poke and the Kahlua pork. It is consistent and tastes amazing every time I have been there. I am hesitant to try them any where else because I feel like it just won't compare!

Kalua pork, teri chicken and loco moco is the best! Always gonna come back and eat here for an Hawaiian taste!!

    (1)

Way better than the Roxys grill on the lake. Great katsu and best Hawaiian food other than Bamboo Grove. Between this and Matshita's you can't go wrong.

  • Terry C.

Flavors are good as usual, they did not put teriyaki sauce in my takeout order even after directly asking for it. Booooooo.! We have always done pretty well here, I still need to try the spam, haven't had that since I was a kid.

Really, the only thing I like at this place is the manapua & even those are average. There are a few other places nearby that are better (Mama's & Roxy's).

This place gives you huge helpings so bring a friend! I've been there several times and my favorite is the Katsu and my husband loves the Loco Moco. Ask for a side of their delicious kimchee. One of the owners is Korean so it's the best!

  • Bryan F.

Aloha!

Bleu

Bleu

I've been coming here since I was little and this place still has the best chicken Katsu! It's perfectly breaded with Panko and golden brown. The Kailua pork sandwiches are great, and If you're in Tualatin, this place is a must!

This place gives you huge helpings so bring a friend! I've been there several times and my favorite is the Katsu and my husband loves the Loco Moco. Ask for a side of their delicious kimchee. One of the owners is Korean so it's the best!

I only come here for the Tuna Poke and the Kahlua pork. It is consistent and tastes amazing every time I have been there. I am hesitant to try them any where else because I feel like it just won't compare!

    (3)
  • Dale H.

    (4)

    (3)

Pretty good loco moko and damn good spam musubi. Plenty of rice and the mac salad was the best I've had on the mainland. I'll be back to try the Kahlua pork.

Try it out.

He walked closer to my babe, was sincerely concern and spoke softly "why not, it's so good, the whole island loves it." My babe of course had the look (to me) --- The "I'm going to beat your a**" look! hahaha

Aloha!

We ordered take out from there and it was really good. We are old school Noho's fans and this hit the Hawaiian spot. The beef ribs were good and the macaroni salad was the bomb.

Just discovered moco loco! I've tried lots of different Hawaiian places and usually get your basic terriyaki style chicken or beef, but never again. Hooked on moco loco.
