You can't go wrong. I get the naked burrito, same as the burrito just no tortilla. I load on the salsas and I'm good to go. The pico de gallo is amazing, corn salsa, and verde. They're nice as they let you put whatever sauce you want, except of course there are a few that are extra. Guacamole and queso make anything here extra good. They added the calorie count which is helpful, but sometimes I'd just rather not know. If you've been to Qdoba for lunch, have you been for breakfast? They have a great breakfast burrito that's worth trying. Switch it up and get one before 11am, you can always have it for lunch too.

Qdoba, how I love thee. The food is as good as every other Qdoba, tasty, fresh and worth stopping in if you need a quick lunch. I'm a nachos gal, and these were delicious, exactly as I expected them to be. I can't in good spirit give them a high rating because it's not a high rating kind of establishment, but as Qdobas go, and as fast food goes, you can't go wrong here.

It's exactly the same as Chipotle, but with cheese sauce and they aren't pretending to be healthy. My kind of joint!!

I love this place! My friends use to come here and I never wanted to try it because I already loved chipotle.. But once I finally went this place surpassed it! I always get the chicken burrito with white rice and queso sauce! The queso sauce is my favorite part! The customer service here is really good too! They get you through the like quickly as well. Only this is the parking lot is horribly busy during lunch time but that isn't there fault. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Quite some time ago I used to come here with my ex-coworkers, and I remember the food was very low quality food and din't taste good, I also remember each time I would order their steak tacos or steak burritos, the steak pieces would come in big chunks, they used to be very tough and almost impossible to cut with the knife or chew them, and they were always way too rare, almost raw. I used to come her only because it was close to my previous office, and because my ex co-workers would come here. That is why after I moved from that office, I never stopped by here any longer. But recently I was walking by with my aunt visiting form Colorado, and we decided to give it a try. I was surprised because things have changed a lot since then, they have improved. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we did not have to wait and the food was ready very fast, we did The food was very tasty, what an improvement, compared to what it used to be, We tried few different things, I love the fact that you can make your own combination of burrito, the ingredients were fresh, healthy. And the smothered burritos was really amazing, juicy inside and very tasty, I also liked the grilled quesadilla, light and very tasty. I am glad I found out about their great menu, so now, whenever I am in the area I can stop by!

The food is delicious and the staff a friendly and prompt. Love the queso! They have the best chips and their guacamole is delish too! I love that they have fresh lime for their drinks. I always get the Craft 2 and then I get 4 tacos.

It's a blessed day when a vendor brings us Qdoba for lunch! My only suggestion would be that they serve refried beans, versus the big reddish pink beans. I also prefer the white rice to the brown, but that's because the white has a fresh lime taste and the brown tastes....well, healthy. I can't explain that taste, but if I'm going to be bad, I want to be real bad and that means my food needs to taste rich. My favorite item is the naked burrito. Who needs a shell when you can use those calories on extra queso sauce?? The chicken and beef go on top of my rice. Then every sauce (pico de gayo, hot salso, sour cream and guac) they have to offer - except the green verde sauce. Ick. Not just theirs. In general that sauce just needs to go away. I hear complaints often about what true tex mex is, and whether Qdoba is authentic - but to be honest, I've been to Mexico numerous times and don't think the food I've had is actually any better. It's just different. To me, Qdoba is every bit as wonderful.

Went in for dinner 9:15 for my son (closes at 10)- half ingredients not available because they said they were closing- would not even open another bag of cheese so got minimal scrapings. You are either open till close or not!!! Terrible meal. Owner should know their employees are screwing up experience. From now on, no Qdoba for us, Chipotle all the way.

This is a great location! I am always greeted very warmly and provided with excellent, friendly service every single time I go. Love it! Last week, we ordered lunch boxes for a birthday party from this location. I went to pick them up yesterday morning and due to a miscommunication, 6 of the 10 burritos were made with the wrong ingredients. Without my asking and in seconds flat, the awesome staff quickly made 6 new burritos (seriously - they were FAST) for my order and I was at the party on time, no sweat. You can't ask for better service than that! This is a regular spot for me and will continue to be since the service and food quality are always top notch. There are other Qdobas in Portland, sure, but this one is my favorite.

After a long break from Qdoba I have been back more than a few times and it has always been great. Excellent service, great food, reasonable prices (they have $5 Sunday Burrito special currently). Love the Queso Burrito with veggies and chicken.

The food is good, but this is the second time in a week that the cashier didn't give me my change. The first time I thought it was a fluke and walked away without it since they were busy. This time he did it again and turned away to help someone else. I wonder how much money they have collected from other people?

  • Tanner B.

This shouldn't even be called Mexican. First thing she pulls a tortilla out of an obviously pre packaged bag, I asked for refried beans so didn't even know that all they serve is whole or black beans. I had to tell her which beans to put on it. Then all their sauces are chunky and lack flavor. Their metal tables were ice cubes. The bathroom was nasty. The burrito was chewy and cold. Their soda dispensers carbonation was off. I'm not coming back ever. But I gave it 2 stars because at least I don't have a bad taste in my mouth after words and I didn't waste all my food..

All in all the experience here is pretty average, the food and amenities look better in the buffet than they do on the plate. They say that the guacamole and sour cream are free but the general prices are higher than one would expect, it's true what they say you never get something for nothing. The food was okay the onions and bell peppers were undercooked and had a little bit of a strange taste.

Maybe Saturday night is a bad time for this Qdoba, but they were out of most of their sodas, had no straws, the garbage cans were overflowing and the kid's booster seat was disgustingly sticky. I still like Qdoba's food but won't return to this particular location.

    (2)
  • Valerie W.

Qdoba is typical 'higher quality than fast food, but still kinda fast food'. I still like it a lot better than Chipotle. Boo Chipotle. I enjoy the fact they have their Craft 2 menu that allows you to get smaller versions of some choice items all while watching your calories. PROS: They now offer brown rice and have been offering wheat tortillas They have general calorie counts on their menu The BBQ burrito is on point. Salsas are pretty fresh and all rather tasty Their queso is delish Good menu items, all around good food Craft your meal to your liking CONS: Prices are so-so Not super 'healthy' all in all NOTES: They do catering This particular location has the 100 soda machine Outdoor seating

This is not where you come for authentic Mexican food. I am not saying anything that is news to anyone here, am I? No, you come here because you like it better than Chipotle. It is the "Mexican" equivalent to Subway or Quiznos. You know what you are getting, and that is a fast food burrito product. Having said that, I tend to prefer Qdoba over Chipotle. That is just me, and I know that others will argue both sides. But let's put that aside for now and focus on this establishment for now. This place is crazy busy between noon and 1pm, so I would suggest against coming here during that time. However, if you come by right after the 1pm rush, the tables may not have been cleaned yet, and the bottles of tobasco and chuhula will be located throughout the store. So I would suggest coming here either after 2pm or before 11:30am. The people here are friendly and somewhat efficient. They get my order right, they don't skimp on ingredients (and will add extra when lightly prodded), and it's rightly priced. The soda machine is one of those 1 dispenser for 10000 different Coke drink combos (might be of interest if you like vanilla or cherry coke). If you are in a hurry and don't mind slamming down 1000 calories for a meal, this place does its job well.

Wish I had tried Qdoba sooner. I love it!! My favorite thing is the nachos w/ground beef. The cheese is yummy-licious!! I would say it's a high version of Chipotle.

Love this place, always served fast and accurate by polite w orkers. The only thing that keeps me from reading it a 5 star is the fact they seem to make you pay extra for too many things

Nothing wrong with Qdoba, it's just that every time i eat here I find myself wishing I had gone to Chipotle, or Baja fresh instead. I don't have a favorite item on the menu, and I find that usually the service here is pretty slow. They have done some catering for out company that was buffet style, and that has always been excellent, however when I go into the actual restaurant I usually leave a little disappointed.

Qdoba is amazing quality for the price you pay. I am an avid fan of the Naked Steak Queso Burrito and the Steak Quesadilla. Add some Chips and queso as well and it is probably my favorite away-from-home meal. And if you get there for breakfast, the chorizo is amazing!

  • John L.

Mexican semi-fast food.... need I say more. Didn't expect much going in. Was pleasantly surprised. I prefer this much more than Baja Fresh. The taco salad was really good. 4 stars. The quesadilla was decent 3.5 stars. It was clean and the food came out pretty quickly.

Ugh....where do I start. Not a lot of options at Qdoba for vegetarians/vegans other than a vegetable burrito. When will restaurants understand and acknowledge that some of their customers are non-meat eaters and offer 'meat-free' options, such as tofu? Overall, I was disappointed with the food received for the $6.00 price for a veggie burrito. They also charge extra for guacamole...... Never again......

Start with barely-warm tortillas, add tepid meat product & luke-warm beans/rice, then add COLD lettuce & salsa. THIS IS HOT, FRESH FOOD?!?! Frozen Tacos is more like it, AND with no flavor. Gimmea a break, ... where do you get GOOD, HOT, TASTY & AUTHENTIC MExican food in this state?

I bought some Qdoba card from the school kids that were canvassing our neighborhood a couple months ago. Before that I hadn't really even heard of Qdoba. Glad I know of them now. I've saved a bunch of money with the card plus their food is real good, think Subway but with Mexican food. Everything looks real fresh, they are fast and friendly. The one I go to is right next to Bridgeport Village, and I think I will be going there again today.

It's cafeteria style where you go through the line and tell the lady what you want while she puts it all together.I like how all the ingredients are fresh and it's pretty quick to go through the line and get your food. They don't skimp on the cheese and the grilled veggies are a healthy addition to whatever you want to order. My kids are not fans of spicy food and won't try anything but a quesadilla even though I promise that's it's not spicy at all. We come here a couple times a month. The burritos are huge and the nachos are fantastic.

I want to preface my comments with the fact that I am getting tired of the trend of restraunts going to a help yourself modle. If I want to go to a cafateria I would go back to colledge. Hmm come to think of it colledge had better food. On the plus side the outside seating is nice on a sunny day and the Iced tea was fresh and brewed rather than fountian syrup concentrate (there is a differance). The mexican gumbo I was hoping would be something like a Menudo and be harty and thick. Did not stack up. The bottom line. If you want a quick better than average cafateria style mexican meal in a nice setting then this is your place.

Breakfast burrito hit the spot. A small Choriza burrito is a good call for a quick breakfast that they serve til 11AM. I didnt like that thay charged a extra buck to add 3 slices of green peppers, but it still hit the spot when I was jonesing for a breakfast burrito this AM.

So the hubs is the big time fan of this place, & I am all for it, when I'm not jones-in for Nachos from Baja Fresh. The place is clean, food is tasty..........& plentiful, & the staff is very friendly. Their queso cheese sauce is pretty terrific, & the grilled veggies are pretty darn good too.

I love Qdoba. However, since I live on the other side of the city, it's not always easy to get. I was in the area tonight with my other half, and when every sit down restaurant in the area had a minimum hour wait, we decided on Qdoba. I ordered the naked steak queso burrito, my other half had a non naked, and both were good. The meat was seasoned, the whole thing was warm (minus the guacamole and the sour cream), and we ate until we couldn't eat any more. The folks behind the counter were friendly, and the guy running the register even told us since it was Blazers night, if we had Blazers clothing on, we'd get a buy one, get one free deal. We didn't, but he was still very nice, and laughed at my other half's wisecracks. The only reason I'm taking 1 star off is because of the speed of service. It was faster than waiting on a table anywhere else, but we were still in line for 10 or 15 minutes. Granted, they were busy, but I'm used to a Qdoba in Denver, where they get people through the line really quickly. Maybe next time it will be faster, and there won't be a line of 10 people.

First off, Jose and his staff are to be recommended for feeding our Varsity Soccer Team today! We had the Naked Burrito Bar and was perfect for our boys, even the finicky of eaters were loving the food. The food was on time and packaged to the "T" -directions for set up, plates, condiments, chips, tortillas...all was terrific. Thanks for your cooperation and would recommend for any group, especially a hungry group of boys!

I really like this Qdoba, despite still being confused about how to say the name. When this restaurant moved in down the street from my work a few years ago I was there on opening day to try it out. I love Mexican food and am always curious how the new fast mex shop is going to put their own flavor on the style. Qdoba does well by bringing freshly prepared ingredients and fresh combinations to the table. I love their 3 cheese queso, it is great on a burrito or on the nachos. That cheese is probably single handedly keeping me coming back for more. Check them out if you want to try a new twist on your favorites, or just want a quick snack while out shopping or a tasty work lunch.

We have been going to this Qdoba for several years. Our last few visit have been less than stellar. The food is cold by the time we get it because we had to stand in line for the cashier. Maybe they should slow down on the food prep and let the cashier get caught up. Additionally, the eating area/tables were all filthy. Today both trash cans were over flowing. We didn't even try to shove our garbage in, we just left it on top. There were so many metal food holders stacked on top, it was very obvious the eating area hadn't been cleaned for a while. I even mentioned it to the cashier as we were walking out of the restaurant. We decided that we wouldn't be going back and would be visiting the nearby Baja Fresh instead.

Mediocre is as good as I can rate Q'doba. Their meat is cooked well, but unspiced and flavorless. The beans appear to be straight out of the can. The only flavor comes from their salsa which is good but not good enough to make up for the lack of flavor in the rest of their food. If you like bland mexican food, then Q'doba is the place for you. It's a definite 3 stars.

My husband has been trying to take me here for a month or so, and we finally made it today. I wish I'd gone sooner - clean, bright, open, well-organized interior (there are no bad seats, except the outside ones if it is raining). The view of the roads/parking lot is not inspiring but it's not unattractive either, and the amount of daylight (especially with the metal furniture) is very attractive. Everything is clean, well-spaced, and the arc of the interior spreads the tables in a big arc rather than glommed in a rectangle. The staff were friendly without being obtrusive or annoying; we were greeted well, served well, and when we left they called thanks for our having been there. At the same time, they didn't try to make conversation beyond that unless someone spoke to them, so it wasn't intrusive, just welcoming. As for the food, my husband and I both had burritos - he had the pork with just about everything, I had the chicken with nothing but the rice and beans. Very tasty (both of them: I tried a bit of his, and I'll get the corn salsa next time, yum!). I don't know about anything else, but for the burritos, it's a bit like a Mexican Subway - you get to pick what you want. And those are NOT small burritos. They end up the size of a good burger or larger, I think larger. (I also saw they had a vegetarian burrito option, though we didn't order it today. I may try it another day.) My husband did complain that they didn't mix up the ingredients in his, so in the middle he got some bites that were missing one thing or another, he said. When I tried his burrito, nearer an edge, I didn't experience that. Mine had no problems, but I didn't get as much stuff on it. It did appear that she had a little trouble with the meat on his as he got a big chunk of pork that didn't want to shred (only in a burrito would that be a problem!), so it may not be common, or he may just need to ask them to mix a little more next time he orders. Also, this is near Bridgeport, but not IN Bridgeport (across the street from it), so you don't have to deal with the Bridgeport parking - the strip mall Qdoba is in has its own, very nice, parking area. I will happily go back again, after today's experience.

Working so close to Qdoba has turned me into a Qdobaholic. It is SO delicious! I love that they have outside seating as well as seating inside, just in case that big yellow thing in the sky decides to come out long enough for us to enjoy some lunch outside! I give props to the people behind the counter. They are always fast, efficient, and CLEAN! Which is a major plus. It gets pretty packed around lunch time (noonish) from all the HS kids, but it is well worth the extra wait.

Qdoba~! don't know what that means, but I'm a fan because it's fast, fresh, and as good as it gets for fast + fresh mexican food. everyday from 3-6 they have a $3 happy menu that includes a variety of choices from chicken taco salad to tostada soup. $3?! that's as good as it gets. it's regular sized portions, too. we got the chicken salad + chicken burrito and it was pretty good. It's similiar to chipotle, but less heavy. this location is situated at the bridgeport outdoor mall by REI. clean interior and friendly/fast service.

Fast food done fab. This doesn't taste like fast food, but it is created right in front of you and in a hurry. This is a plus to me on weekdays, when I want to spend as much time as possible refreshing my Twitter feed on my phone and dashing over to Whole Foods for dinner stuff, not waiting in line for lunch. Everything I've ordered has been satisfying, from the warm and spicy chicken tortilla soup (the slightly charred bits of chicken really elevate this away from the yucky fake meat-tasting soups you get other places) to the mission-style burritos. They even do breakfast, and how! A mean breakfast burrito stuffed with fried potatoes, eggs, chicken or chorizo plus all the salsa, queso, sour cream and cheese you can stomach that early. Pair it with a drink for less than $5. Super-filling 7:45 a.m. score. The employees with little exception have always been nice, and as mentioned, don't waste any time getting you and your yummy viddles together in sweet harmony. Also, the Diet Coke fountain with lemons AND limes!? Bliss!! The patio is the perfect Bridgeport spot on a nice day. All around, a great value for the price and a bargain for your time budget.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
