I'm almost never dissatisfied with Muchas Gracias! I like the quick service and good food. The customer service today was amazing! The man helping us was very friendly! I'd never been inside this particular one yet, and it was a pleasant visit!

Muchas Gracias opened in Stayton about a month ago and I had been meaning to give them a try. I have been pleased with their other locations so I was hoping the new Stayton location would live up to their reputation. I was not disappointed. As I approached the door I was greeted by a large sign suggesting that I try their authentic tamales. I immediately decided that was what I wanted. (great marketing ploy). I looked at their picture menu but couldn't find the tamales. I asked and they said they hadn't updated their menu yet, but the tamales were available! Score! I ordered the combo pack and munched on some of their spicy complimentary carrot slices while I waited for my meal. When it arrived it was hot, and tasty. The tamales were made well and held up nicely. The combo included some mexican rice and refried beans. Both of which were tasty but a little on the plain side. The meal was inexpensive, only $6.50 for the platter. I didn't order any beverage though. A nice feature about this location is that they are a smoothie bar as well. You can go get a very tasty smoothie without ordering any meals. Since Stayton lost Aiberto's we had been lacking a decent fast food mexican place. Welcome Muchas Gracias! I hope you can last in this little town.

We brought in the soccer team, they worked quick and got our meals out in a timely manner. Food was hot and delicious. The best churros I've ever had, those were the hit!

I visited Muchas Gracias to access the Internet because the public library was not yet open. The WiFi link worked well and it was a fairly quiet and pleasant place to work, although a little cool. I had a chicken taco which was prepared to order and good. The restroom was clean and warm.

Hate to give it such a low rating but they need to learn consistency. I love this place and the owner, he makes the best food, but some of the other guys that run it when he is away make the food bad. I love the cheese enchiladas, the owner makes them superb, the other staff I can tell microwave it before they give it to me because the bottom of my food becomes one with the Styrofoam. Yuck! Bean and cheese burrito with extra sour cream! Put red sauce on it and youre In heaven! Churros take you to cloud 9! There rice is amazing too! I keep telling the owner he should bring back the strawberry lemonade with real strawberries! That was like an aphrodisiac in the hot summer Sun back in the day!

We love Mexican food and eat it often. After several trips to this muchos location out experience has not been very good. Prices continue to increase while portions and quality of food continue to decrease. Burritos are all tortilla with very little meat. We have experienced this multiple times.

This is a great place to eat, the churros are my absolute favorite! The staff is also extremely friendly.

Poor service. I asked if they had a certain type of burrito, and what was in it. I asked that a few items be left out, then asked again if a certain item was in it (I didnt memerize what she had said) She responded as though I had annoyed her, like I should have known, so I cancelled my order; and drove away.

Not sure what's happened, maybe they stopped caring... Prices and gone up, quality has gone down. I'm not expecting fine dining, but I do expect there to be an adequate amount of meat in my taco. I've given them too many second chances...

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Muchas Gracias
