The worst calzone ever! We haven't eaten here in years......now I remember why.

Better than most thin-crust pizza in New Jersey. Very crispy crunchy slice without being overcooked. Had a slice of margherita and was pleasantly surprised that the slices of garlic were roasted. Plenty of fresh basil, rich tomato sauce that wasnt sweet both pluses. The mozzarella was a little on the bland side so 4 stars. The place itself was spotless; the staff super nice.

Got a couple slices on our way through Sisters as we headed toward Bend. Nice little place with a few beers on tap, 4 different pizzas to select slices from, salads, calzones etc. The pizza was really good and the staff was very friendly. We liked it so much on our way into Bend that we stopped here again on our way back.

Gluten-free pizza crust was great, but they really skimped on the sauce and cheese, resulting in a very dry pizza. Also, the cheese was not sprinkled on top of the other toppings, so all the toppings, which had dried out in the oven because of so little sauce and cheese, fell off the pizza as soon as a bite was taken. :( Sad because for so little extra they could have made an excellent pizza. I just felt like they were skimping.

Well. It was slow as really really wet laundry drying in a tub of water. SLOW. I don't know about the pizza cuz we haven't cotton it yet. Hopefully this gets better. WAY BETTER.

38.00 bucks for a pizza and two beers! Wow! The toppings were ok but the crust was like some kinda shortbread /cracker / biscuit thing, it broke off where you bent it . Not that nice crunch then stretch that makes a great pizza dough. Reminded me of a chewy pop tart crust or something.

Great slices and salads. Great for a quick post mountain bike ride lunch. Offers GF personal pizzas as well.

We came in upon a spontaneous visit. I personally was intrigued by the smell! It's smells so irresistible when walking by! We got a slice & it was ok. It definitely wasn't bad but I feel as though I've had better. The people are friendly & is clean. Not a fan of the $4 minimum charge to use a card. It's a good way to get more money for them!

The toppings were good but the crust was absolutely horrible! It was worse than a crappy microwave pizza to be honest. On top of that, it took about 45 minutes for them to cook our pizza! I'm amazed that this restaurant is rated so highly. This place will forever stand out in my mind as one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to.

The people who work there are nice, but the pizza...not so much. We went here because of the rating (4 stars), plus we read some of the reviews that were really positive. You don't get a choice of crusts, pan, thin etc... They make it the way they make it, which is very thin, with very little flavor. The sauce was just ok. It is comparable to Little Caesars, in my opinion. They have a very small dining area, so if you don't like small spaces, I'd recommend ordering it to go. We were disappointed, and won't be back. If you're ever in Eugene, or Creswell, Roaring Rapids in Eugene and My Boys Pizza, in Creswell, serve much, better pizzas.

You'd be better off picking up the most freezer-burned, frozen pizza you can find at the grocery store up the street. It will certainly be less expensive. Sauce covered cardboard. The flavor is not existent. So disgusting. We ordered several different variations. All were inedible. I guess when you're the only gig in town, you can get away with murder. How do you screw up pizza THIS bad and that's all you make? Shame on your restaurant. Revolting and a rip off.

  • Christopher E.

Though the dough and toppings were tasty, the prices were a trick. $3.50 for a slice and a $4 charge if total does not meet $4 forces you to buy another slice... It smells better than it tastes

  • Erin A.

Customer service is seriously lacking. Wait time is ridiculous; if you're really hungry go elsewhere. Prices are NOT current on the menus, they're a few dollars higher. Calzones are not worth the money or the extra wait time. Pizza sauce is from a can and has zero personality. We should have read the reviews before we spent money here. Avoid this place if you value your time and money!

Delicious pizza! We had the pepperoni, cheese and the meat combo. Great flat pizza. Even the pizza by the slice was nice and fresh!! It had a nice atmosphere and outdoor seating! They also have beer and wine! We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I drove through sisters on our way from Portland to bend and found this place. They were so nice and welcoming. The pizza we got was delicious! As we were eating our slices the manager even brought us over an extra slice on the house. Great place, we will be coming back on our next trip!

Came through Sisters on my way to camping out in John Day River Territory. Stopped to use the public restroom and then realized I was hungry. Right across the street was Martolli's and I decided to get a slice of pizza. Got a mushroom and goat cheese slice and a beer. The pizza was delicious: really thin slice, lots of flavor, good chewy crust. Pretty soon, we were engaged in conversation with the whole staff. We were the only ones in there and were curious about some of the goings-on in the area. They were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed talking to them. I especially liked that they served alcohol as a beer settles my tummy on road trips. The restroom was roomy and clean to. Martolli's was the perfect pit stop. I'll definitely be back for more pizza!

My wife and I were traveling from Portland, OR to Sunriver, OR with our two children. We left Portland late and didn't get to Sisters until about 8:10. The kids love pizza so we pulled over and headed for the door. The "PIZZA" light was out but it did say "Open". We walked in and everyone there was ready to leave for the evening. There were two slices available and because of the late hour we thought that was going to do it. Instead we were encouraged to order a pizza, sit down and watch the Blazer game with the staff of Martolli's. Not only was the pizza unbelievably good (the Margherita pizza had delicious garlic slices!) but the warm reception and genuinely friendly staff really made this a "must stop" if you are in or near Sisters. We will stop EVERY time we pass Martolli's, everyone should do the same. Thank you Martolli's!!

This place used to be really good, but it's gone downhill over the last several years. The last time I was here it was just for a quick lunch so were planning on grabbing a couple slices. Big mistake. The pizzas had been sitting out for what looked like hours and seemed entirely unappetizing. That being said, I opted for a caesar salad. Bad choice. It was like the lettuce was completely wet when they tossed it with way too much dressing, so it resulted in a big, gross mess. After a couple bites I just completely lost my appetite. The others in my group ate their slices but said they weren't very good. I'll be skipping it next time I'm in town.

The best pie I've had since moving back west from NY! Thin, crispy crust. Sold by the slice...makes everyone happy.

Hand Tossed pizza is cool. And watching the guys in the back spin that dough really raised my hopes of actually getting a decent calzone. But once again I am left wanting...will I ever find a true authentic, rich in flavor calzone as those I have had in the past back on the east coast. First of all, the menu stated that the calzones come standard with cheese, sauce, and ricotta as well as the choice of two toppings and additional charges for more toppings. My calzone had NO ricotta in it. And very very little of the toppings I paid extra for. It was nothing more than a pizza rolled up into a pie....not a calzone. The dough, while hand tossed, was not very flavorful at all. Just plain and bland. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything to write home about either. And the service was mediocre as well. Our food was brought to us outside....without any silverware...which we then had to get up and go inside to get. Really, guys and gals, a little bit of effort goes a long way with people. May I also suggest letting people pay at the end of their meal so they can tip for good service, instead of charging up front with the option to tip. I am not tipping for service I have yet to receive...and obviously, judging by this experience, would not have received anyway. BTW, it's funny how the people who work here are reviewing the place and calling it the best pizza. lol. Get out of Sister's kids and experience the world a little.

Drove into town hungry and found this great pizza place. Friendly help, tasty thin crust pizza, great salad. Sat outside and enjoyed the town. Great for the kids because we ordered by the slice. No worries about what type of pizza to order.

I'm going to agree with a couple of the prior reviewers. Probably the best pizza option in Sisters, however getting a slice isn't necessarily the best way to experience Martolli's. Although they do have a nice slice, salad and soda deal. The indoor space is pretty cramped, but they do have some nice tables out front on Cascade Avenue. Fountain drinks are Pepsi products, but they have Coke and other beverage options in stock as well. Four options by the slice and I enjoyed The Milano, but it isn't up there with my favorite pizza ever. There are so many other good dining options in Sisters, that pizza is never terribly high on my list. I've never ordered a full pizza or tried the take-n-bake option, so rely on other reviewers for their opinions. As an aside, there is a Martolli's Pizza in Ashland, but I don't know if the two are related. My experiences in Ashland have been better.

This is my favorite pizza in town. Their large is perfect for our family of 5 and they have a great selection of specialized pizza to choose from, you can always change it up. The pizza and salads are super yummy we've never once had a problem when we come in. I love this I can go in at lunch and buy pizza by the slice (always 4 options) or for dinner a big ole pizza for the whole family. My personal favorite pizza is the Marchetti (garlic sauce, spinach, Italian sausage and candied walnuts) I know walnuts on a pizza, but somehow it works! They are not overly crunchy and like I said it all just goes together so well. Every time we bring family and friends there from out of town they are willing to try it and love it! Not a HUGE fan of the crust, but I like a fluffy crust and these aren't. Not enough for me to not eat there though obviously.

We stumbled upon Sisters as we left Bend and had to stop because it was so cute. Dropped into this random pizza joint on the main drag and was stunned at how good the pizza was! Crunchy crust and good toppings.

Stumbled upon this randomly. Very healthy pizza, had the white veggie. Thin crust and really fresh veggies. Worth the bucks

Great pizza, beer and service. Wish my dad didn't live on the outskirt's of Sisters, because I'd pay them extra if they'd deliver a pizza to McKenzie Canyon down the road to my dad :)

Great family place. Good pizza, friendly service and a small town mom and pop atmosphere. Great if your stopping through!

As someone who has lived in New Jersey, these guys make a pretty great pie. I try not to order ahead when getting take out so I have a chance to grab a beer and BS with the guys working there - who are always fun to talk to. Best pizza in town and likely all of Central Oregon (though haven't tried all the places in Bend yet).

Our family has a vacation house in Black Butte and were very surprised to find pizza this good in a small tourist town. We got the Outlaw (pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushrooms, olives, and red onion). We picked it up for take out and chose the "half-baked" option, as a 20 minute drive back to the house would have cooled a fully baked pizza too much. Five minutes in a 450* oven and it was perfect. Thin, crispy crust, high quality toppings. If you're from the Seattle area, think Pagliacci. Best pizza I've had in years and we'll definitely make a visit to Martolli's a regular part of our Black Butte trips.

This is the best pizza in Central Oregon. Really. I love, love, love this pizza... and I'm one serious pizza critic. I have worked at all the major pizza joints (while I kid, but regardless I know what I'm talking about). You can eat anything at this place and be happy. I have tried most of the different pizzas here... and also the salad is good. You can also grab a beer or glass of wine here for a pretty good price. If you like pizza, this is a place that cannot be missed. YUM! Okay, I gotta go eat some pizza now...

Fabulouse pizza served by the friendly people you expect in Sisters. You can even get it "half-baked" to finish at home.

Pizza and service just fabulous! I appreciate specifically when I have ordered near closing and they've waited after hours for me to pick it up! That's customer service! It's not often you find a joint you can call near closing and not feel like a burden! Thank you Martolli's!

Great pizza. Atmosphere is so so, but they have a tv, and a few beers on tap.

Excellent pizza. New York style thin crust. Huge slices. I would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Hand's down LOCALS favorite, thin crust "Authentic" Pie! Freshest ingredients daily. Great rotating micro brews on tap. Service & smiles are #1. You will always find sports on the TV as well as sweet, Vibe music in the background. Try it...you will LOVE it! Cheers! K

I haven't visited enough Bend pizzerias to proclaim this the best in Central Oregon, but this is my favorite Sisters pizzeria! Don't trust the Yelp map, though... it is located along the main drag (Highway 20).

Great quick bite for lunch in Sisters. Lunch special (slice, salad and soda for $6.25) is a great value. I would gladly return.

Great pizza place with huge slices. Stop in and grab a slice or call in an order. If you can and like ask for the olive oil garlic on the pizza instead of regular tomato sauce. It's fantastic. The new family that runs it is great. Family friendly too. Martolli's salad is yummy, with the candied walnuts.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Bend. Super friendly guy behind the counter and pretty decent pizza. I had a slice of carmelized onion, walnut, tomato slice and goat cheese white pizza. My husband got 2 slices of pepperoni. The crust was yummy too. Filled us up for the rest of the day too. But it was SUPER greasy and not really warmed up enough when we bought it by the slice. I bet if you got a whole pie that was really fresh and hot it would rate a solid 4 stars.

Love this pizza. For me... it's all about the crust and this place does it up! I think it is the best pizza in central oregon.

I went here with my family and thought it was very good for a pizza place. We had this really great pizza (veggie something) with musrooms, sun dried tomatoes and chevre. It was very good. The are about 20 different types of pizza there. A lot to choose from. Also tried a salad there. It was pretty good as well.
