Great place to get breakfast. Waitress was very friendly and made sure coffee and water stayed full. Food was made perfect. I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was actually cooked medium rare, which as active knows didn't answers happen. Where were made over easy and perfect. My wife had biscuits and gravy and she said the biscuits are home made and the gravy and biscuits tasted again. My son ordered pancakes and bacon and he was happy. The service was very fast. Highly recommend this place.

Visited Riley's twice, once for lunch and then again for breakfast. The lunch visit was satisfactory....the place is more of a locals hangout rather than a tourist place.... Good fish and chips, for sure. Server was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Went back for breakfast yesterday and the place was pretty dirty. Service was still good but things were just....not clean. Food was adequate but nothing special. Scrambled eggs were just chopped up eggs that had been dumped on the griddle, no scrambling. My biggest complaint came after using the men's room. I was so grossed out I was ready to leave without eating. No paper towels, the mirror was almost unusable it was so dirty. The door handle was nasty...I used toilet paper to open it because of no paper towels. Sink and toilet was filthy, walls were stained and dirty, and the smell was nauseating. This had not just been ignored that day, this was obviously not cleaned for months. Now, you may say just don't use the bathroom.... But this is the same bathroom the two male cooks use. Do they not wash their hands in the same bathroom? We ate our food and left as soon as possible. While paying I mentioned it to the server who said she would pass it on. Being female I assumed she had not seen it first hand so I went in to a little bit of detail. It clearly wasn't appreciated as she more forcefully reiterated she would pass it on. I did not feel like my concern was taken seriously. Clearly, not going back.

Riley's melt was good and my son had a burger that he said was good. The fish and chips on the other hand weren't that great. The prices were a little in the high side for what you get. 40.00 for 3 for lunch.

Good food and great service. What else do you need? I got the pancake combo with a blueberry thing that tasted amazing on the side, it was freakin amazing. I'm not staying in seaside any longer but If I ever come back I'm coming here!

Perfect beach town breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but good old fashion food with very fast service. I think our meals came in under 8 minutes. (Denver omlettes, hashbrowns, toast) We were shocked. THey were delicious. Someone who doesn't care for onions might have been disappointed because it was LOADED with diced onions. Tastey though, I'd suggest a tad less onions and a tad more cheese. Hashbrowns were crisp and delicious. Interior feels like an old IHOP or something but the food is consistent and affordable.

After walking up and down the Pacific coast at dawn, and seeing all the strange things in tide pools, I worked up quite an appetite, but wasn't exactly in the mood for sea cucumber omelet or anything. I wanted a nice, normal eggs and potatoes breakfast, which I got here at Riley's-- though I almost forgot to take a picture before it was devoured. Every small town should have at least one breakfast spot like this. The waitress was really good, and brought one of those gold, plastic pots of coffee and left it on the table. That always makes me think of a line from a book-- "She brought me a whole pot of watery, Golden West coffee..."--though I'm not sure what book that is. I think it's Hunter S. Thompson.

First red flag...line out the door, but they are not taking names to determine order of arrival? We felt invisible in this place. Table of five. They brought two place settings!? No water, no menus, and one and a half cups (they ran out of coffee upon pouring other cup!) of coffee within 30 minutes of sitting in one of their booths. Were they busy? Sure. But, c'mon. If you can't handle having a full restaurant in a tourist town, you shouldn't be in the business. We left cash for the pathetic two cups of coffee (one that didn't even get filled all the way) and walked out of the restaurant after 40 minutes since no one had even been to our table to take our orders. That's the last time there.

Eating off the beaten path is quite worth it here. The halibut fish & chips is very good and if you order the taco salad, two can share! Top off your meal with a slice of pie or the amazing strawberry shortcake. The atmosphere is comparable to a Denny's or Shari's but the food is very good and you won't spend quite as much as in the main trafficked areas.

This restaurant doesn't look like much, and it's not very near the actual beach, but it really has great halibut fish & chips! Much better than the fancy places nearer to the beach, and they were only $10.95 for a large platter, which comes with salad or cole slaw and a huge pile of fries. I also got the fried oysters and they were good too. But the halibut was out of this world! I will definitely go back.

My first time in Seaside and was looking for a breakfast place. I'm a active yelper, so I immediately started looking at all the local places and came across Riley's Restaurant and Lounge. We were acknowledged immediately and didn't have to wait but a few minutes for our order to be taken. I highly suggest if ever in Seaside come on by and try this place out. The owners are very hospitable and the food is great.

This is our traditional "hair of the dog" spot, the bar service is friendly and full of awesome locals. The food that we tried was decent. I did not think it was special in anyway, but my party of six was not disappointed by any means. They are good for groups and the food came up quickly and hot! Just what you need after a night of indulgence. Very kid friendly in the restaurant and a little adult spot with Oregon Lottery in the small full bar.

We have always gone to pig n pancake while @ seaside but I always feel like that's one of those places where everyone is staring at you?? So this time I wanted to go somewhere else drove by Riley's a few times and decided to give it a shot. Customer Service excellent! Nice size portions Clam Chowder homemade and Yummy! Kids menu was good too.

I didn't eat here because they didn't serve breakfast till noon like they said. The wait staff said it was close enough to noon. If you say till noon then it should be noon. If it's 11.45 then advertise 11.45 not noon. Last time 4 me. Walked my family's ass off to get there in time.

We have always gone to Pig 'N Pancake when we come to Seaside but we will never make that mistake again. We spoke to a few locals that told us to come to Riley's for breakfast and any other meal. We left PNP after being treated so horrible and came to this sweet little restaurant. We were treated with smiles and a wonderful host and a darling waitress. Our food was absolutely delicious and served quickly. These sweet people went out of their way to make our experience wonderful! We will always visit this little restaurant over and again!!

Went here with my bestie after having not seen her for years and got the fish and chips. It was delicious! Slaw was a little on the heavy side but the fries were nice and crisp. Definitely a good little spot to get some good grub.
