McDonald's always get a bad rap; which is not fair. We don't have kids, so we only go when we are looking for a quick lunch or needing a soda (all sizes, $1). The staff here were polite; even through they were very busy. The location has been remodeled over the last few years, and offer several alternatives in seating; which we appreciate. They have a flat-screen TV with sports on; not a bad touch. We'll be back when in a hurry and in town.

Without a doubt the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The drive through is badly designed and cars often stretch across the parking lot in different directions thinking they are in line but mostly just blocking traffic. Service is very slow... I just waited at the window for eight minutes for two regular hamburgers. That's it, just two regular hamburgers. Nothing special, no tricky order, no holding the onions, no counting the sesame seeds on the bun, no checking to see how special the special sauce is. Just two hamburgers. People are friendly... But I don't know if it's poorly managed or understaffed or both, but no wonder McDonald's in general is in a negative slide. So, if it's this bad I bet you are wondering why I keep coming back. An excellent question. Because, simply, they are the only drive through burger joint in town, especially a drive through that serves breakfast! So, much like many of the other poor to marginal restaurants in town that survive by relying on tourists to maintain their existence despite sub standard food and service, this McDonald's just keeps plugging along. However, I, for one, am not loving it.

Went here last night for a cheap fast burger and frys. Young man taking the order gets 5 stars for politeness and efficiently. Young lady giving the order was good too. I never went here before mainly because of negative reviews but it's McDonald's, you know what it's going to taste like. Did you know there are 17 ingredients in their frys and potatoes is one of them.

We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 mcchicken, a #1 meal and 2 sides of fries. This is what she rung us up for (notice that the 2 sides of fries are not present). When we got our food, we had 2 mcchickens, 1 cheeseburger, and 0 fries. Then she rung us up on a separate transaction for a fry because she realized that she forgot to ring in the fries but our Big Mac meal came with a fry. So when all the food came out, we literally had nothing that we had paid for. Seeing it was McDonald's, we didn't make much of an effort to ask for the right things, but I did think a review was necessary. What a fucking joke.

Stopped in for a quick bite before fishing. When we sat down to eat we overheard 2 employees both talking about how sick they are and sharing the details of their symptoms. I realize everyone gets a cold but when your serving food it's unacceptable. Stay home, wear a mask, but don't create a pandemic.

Worst McDonald's EVER !!! I have to say most employees are sub par, a select few are excellent and the management is horrible. You DON'T throw money at customers in the drive thru especially if your the manager on duty. I feel this company needs to take a long hard look at Bethany Altig and teach her how to be a manager not a PUNK !!! I have been going here for the past 7 years but after this NEVER AGAIN. McDonald's you really need to get your crap together and take a hard look at your employees because on top of the crappy attitudes the order is wrong 99% of the time.

We have been frequent visitors to the drive thru for beverages during a girls beach weekend, and everyone in our group has commented about how upbeat and courteous the employees are. An extra star for tidiness.

Usually don't post to Yelp for fast food resturants but this Mcdonalds really impressed me. Greeted with smiling faces and great service. Visiting this week from Georgia and rarely receive this type of service from a McDonald's.

Restaurant manager needs to be fired ! When I complained about order accuracy , I was told I was a l was a lier and that was what I ordered ! Burger builds are substandard and sloppy ! This is the worst ran Mcdonald's I have ever seen ! Nice Decor though with Redbox outside ! Needed a place to stop for a quick restroom break and snack. The restrooms were clean and they offer free wifi. The staff didn't speak much English so it was difficult to order something a little different off the menu (its fast food though so I guess I shouldn't be too picky), but It did take three people to find me a plastic knife. The food was hot and fresh and the speed was constant with all other McDonald's. The decor could use some updating but it is blue like the sea :)

It is very obvious that this location is a part of the same franchise that owns and operates the Astoria, OR location as well. The Astoria location is a terrible example of how a franchise should be operated. We popped in here to grab a tea and a quick snack after seeing a theatre performance, so being that it was after 10 PM on the Oregon Coast, options were few and far between and we didn't have to deviate from our route at all to go to this very dull and lackluster Golden Arches. Upon arrival at the counter, we saw quite a few unhappy folks standing about waiting, though the staff ratio seemed to be normal, sans the one gentleman taking a break in the parking lot with his Pep Boys tricked out to the max, "El Gigante" personalized automobile complete with sound system for our enjoyment. Gracias!!! Had an off duty / former / if I ran it would be former employee standing in front of me handing money to a manager to "give it to her brother". When Senior El Gigante came in she was very hostile to him we could feel the love between them. I was then greeted by an exasperated and very pregnant employee who looked ready to go postal at any moment. Not friendly at all even when I attempted to relax her a bit with some humour. Obvious dysfunction and bad management all around. The employees (manager and pregnant lass) were bad mouthing a district manager named "Rick" and were very unprofessional. Whining about how they had to arrange the chairs in the dining room. Complaining about a manager who threw away all of the maternity uniforms. (YES, CUSTOMERS DO LISTEN AND HEAR... TOO BAD OWNERS DON'T) The dining area was filthy with many dirty tables with un-dumped trays and food on them. The food left on the floor could feed a family of three for a week. Plenty of time to stand around and whine, but no time to clean the restaurant. The manager (middle aged lady with a speech impediment similar to one who is deaf) was barking orders at staff who just rolled their eyes and moved at a snail's pace. Her directives were mixed with her many negative comments about this "Rick". For a newly remodeled location, this current set of employees were ensuring that it will be trashed and looking like a third world dump in the near future. The new colour scheme and wall graphics are a putrid brown with some funky designs that look like magnified microscope slides of bodily secretions. Very odd choice and not very inviting. If the staff isn't repellant enough, the decor will get ya!! Prices are shockingly high as well. Quality is dropping significantly. McDonald's needs to scale back and just do a few things properly rather than having such an expansive menu and failing.

Proof that not all McDonald's are the same. I value McDonald's for consistency of the menu and the food. We take the kids occasionally and they each get a 4-piece chicken nuggets. It's a sane serving size and a nice treat. This McDonald's declined to sell us the 4 nuggets unless we also ordered a fries, small drink, and happy meal toy. No longer a rational serving, and do I really need that much excess waste. Let's face it, the toys are junk and the happy meal bag and extra food are environmentally unfriendly. We left and won't be back. I encourage you to do the same.
