Denny's is always a good place for breakfast. I was on a trip to Seattle and needed a place to eat. This Denny's hit the spot. Their omlettes are always good.

My husband and I frequent Denny's quite often. We've been to Denny's up and down the West Coast. A few years ago, we stopped in a Denny's in Portland where we had the best nachos I've ever eaten. So this time, we stop in Salem where I order the same thing, with great anticipation. Now, I like to eat and rarely encounter anything that I honestly cannot eat. These nachos were DISGUSTING! They were so heavily laden with velveeta tasting cheese sauce and so much salty goopiness and sogginess that after finding a few chips that were still crunchy and suffering through the slop from sheer hunger, I gave up, leaving half my appetizer plate. Disgusting!!!

When you go, have to ask for Rochelle as your server! She is amazing & goes above & beyond for her customers. Don't go in the lounge section on Sunday morning - terrible service! Same bad waitress every week. Food is typical Denny's so really going for service!

Food was alright. Pancakes for my son were cold and sat on hot plate for awhile before it was delivered. Kids prices and portions are good but adult entrees are high priced for quality of food. 10 bucks for a turkey burger and a veggie? The kids milkshake was pretty much milk blended with Oreos. The place needs a face lift and the staff needs some time off. Run down is an understatement. Use to be my favorite place to go and now it makes me sad.

I don't think I will ever come back to this Denny's! Every time I come here they always sit my family and I all the way in the back, usually I don't mind but this time the back was full. The waitress was so busy she didn't even notice that we were there. Then the waitress took the order of the table next to us who came 10 minutes after we sat down. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, it was just busy in the back. There were a lot of booths and tables in the front but I guess my family and I are not good enough to sit in the front of the restaurant. I won't ever come back to this Denny's! They treated my family and I really bad!

Okay...it's Denny's...yes, I know...but as Denny's goes...this one has it down nicely. They work in conjunction with Best Western Hotel next door. Free breakfast for folks staying at the hotel, and 15% off dinner. This Denny's has really nice people working in it that obviously care about doing a good job. The food and service is a good as Denny's is ever going to get. If you're staying at the hotel next door, and you need a quick and convenient meal, venture on over...I thin you won't be disappointed.

I came in about 2:30 AM. The server was by herself with about 6 tables. She greeted us with a smile, and seated us right away! She was friendly and helpful. We asked for her suggestion on what was good, and she said the bourbon chicken skillet was the best! Thank you Kelcie! You are awesome! We have been here before, just a couple weeks ago. The server ignored us, and acted like we inconvenienced her. We will definitely be back now that we know you work Wednesday!

A mixed crowd is seen here. There are mostly white people above 50 and a few families, mostly hispanic, here today at 9:10 in the morning. It's clean and homely. French toast slam is what I ordered. 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and 2 pieces of bacon were the perfect combination coming with the 2 slices of french toast since I really do not like hash browns. There no complaints about any of it. The food was well prepared. This morning was quiet. There was no heavy traffic in the parking lot either.

Breakfast time is a busy time at this restaurant. I was offered coffee right away. I didn't have to wait too long for my order. You can count on consistent quality of their food no matter where you are. I had excellent service and a french slam, which arrived hot. I have no complaints and would stop here again if in the area. Did you know there is no sales tax in Oregon? My bill came to the items ordered and that's it!

I can't believe I am reviewing a Denny's but I had been driving for 4 hours and it was in the hotel parking lot. I sat in the lounge. Quiet, excellent service. Ordered a gin and tonic, salmon, Red potatoes-delicious! And no driving!

Okay I have went here like 3-4 tomes and each time I got sick the next day like really? Coincidence? I think not! 2 stars for customer service from waitress was good and the fact that the food was good but I think the chefs are shady or something..

Meh. Not impressed... Full of loud "young adults" with their kids running around everywhere.. We weren't only ones who didn't think this permissible mis-behavior was rude. The Manager should have taken that situation in hand.

The guy that led us to our table was rude, but the women who served us after him was great. She was very happy and bubbly. The hashbrowns is why I went, but they weren't up to par. They were over done. Had a Santa Fe skillet which was good with scrambled eggs. Definitely made me full. My boyfriend had the new Philly chess steak alley he said was good, must of been since hr couldn't eat out fat enough. Free refills of hot cocoa! Yes please! The server mass the hot cocoa to rich it was delicious.

Normally I don't like Denny's. But the hotel we were staying at sent us over there for breakfast. The servers worked the butts off. Everything was good and they even let us trade the toast out for gluten free English muffins at no extra charge.

Typical Dennys food decent fare but no wow factor... Our waitress, however was fantastic... friendly, quick and effecient. If it was just based on the food, I would probably give it 3 stars; but her memorable service pushed it up the extra star.

What can I say..really. It's Denny's. But, it had decent food at a decent price, and I'm glad it was across the street from my hotel. Service was quick and reliable. This Denny's also has a full service bar attached if you so desire.

We stopped here last night on the way back from Hoodoo and playing in the snow on Christmas day. I know, I know...Denny's on Christmas? We were all hungry and there was this, or fast food. It was only moderately crowded. We were sat almost immediately. Two pluses already. After being seated we started perusing the menu. It's pretty large and can take some time to get through it all, having to discuss certain foods with the family. Our server kept coming back asking if we were ready, which really annoyed me considering that we all had our menu's open and were constantly looking through it. She stopped by four times in ten minutes to take our order. So my wife chooses orange cranberry pancakes, son's order gingerbread french toast, and I order biscuits and gravy and unlimited pancakes. Also, the kids get a couple of shakes to go with their meal. Hey...it's Christmas. The shakes arrive ten minutes later. They were extremely runny. Now...I don't mind that. I like my shakes a bit on the runny side. I hate trying to suck a shake so thick through a straw that my "outtie" becomes an "innie" after sucking so hard. But these shakes were almost milk-like. We stopped our server and asked if she could thicken them up a bit. She said "sorry...no, our ice cream is very melted tonight". What??? Our ice cream is melted? And yet you're still serving shakes and ice cream with it? So, just a bit later our food arrives. All together at the same time. This is a good thing. We all dig in. The boys didn't like the gingerbread pancakes. They just became a pile of mush after putting syrup on them. My wife liked her pancakes, as I did mine along with my B&G. That was the last time we saw my server though. Which sucked! She stops by constantly to take our order, then delivers our food, only to disappear for good afterwards. But wait a minute...I have unlimited pancakes. How is that supposed to work? Do I go and get the pancake maker myself and lay out my own on the griddle? I'm a chef, I know how to do such things. After waiting around for more pancakes, the manager comes by and clears our table of dirty dishes. My wife stops here and says that I'd like some more pancakes (my mouth was full of my son's hashbrowns). So she said she'd put in another order. She comes back about five minutes later saying that the kitchen is backed up and that she saw them finally putting them down on the griddle, and that my server will bring them to me as soon as they come up. Fine, I say. She was nice. My server brings them over a few minutes later. My son #1 tells her about how they didn't like the french toast of the gingerbread variety and she says "just so you know, next time, you can substitute regular french toast for those". Next time? What about this time? Didn't even apologize for anything (shakes, no pancake refills, and soggy french toast). Then she leaves the check and heads out. Doesn't even care if I want more pancakes. What's the reason for having unlimited pancakes if I can't get refills on my pancakes? I mean, if I wanted a short stack or regular stack of pancakes, I would've ordered that. But I'd worked up an appetite in the snow and wanted a veritable table full of pancakes. The boys left full but unhappy. I left hungry and unhappy. My wife left full but upset that we had bad service and sub-par food. I honestly don't think that I'll return to this particular Denny's again. I mean, why would I? I understand it was Christmas...but that's not something that's in my control within the confines of a restaurant. If they are going to be open for Christmas, be prepared or don't be open. That's all I have to say about that!
