This is a very nice spot. It's clean and and modern and has good food. I had the farmers omelet, which was excellent. Service was good, too.

Kristi and Greg have it figured out! I just ate a fantastic Reuben, and the hospitality was cordial and inviting. It was my first time here, but it won't be my last! Do yourself a favor and swing in (and no, I am not a friend or relative) GREAT FOOD!

Thank you for the referral... Was working on the other side of the river and a local recommended this burger joint. One thing he did warn us about is, "If they say it's hot. It's too hot." Went in and asked the waitress what the best burger on the menu was. She said that she always gets the turkey club... No! I ordered a Pastrami Burger with homemade potato chips. The burger was very unusual and very good. Chips were also well done. Most places don't make homemade chips very well but these were an exception to the rule. A friend of mine ordered a Firehouse Burger which was pile with sliced, grilled jalapeños. These were not thinly sliced my friends. He had a steady sweat and liked his burger. His fries looked good also. Rufus exit, head south then turn left. I never would've stopped here without the recommendation but will definitely stop here again. The good outweighed the bad by far.

I have French Bulldogs and English Bulldogs so clearly when I came upon this little gem, I had to eat here. Clean, fully air conditioned, well staffed. The staff was friendly and greeted us as we entered. I ordered a Sprite* to start off with and quench my thirst after being in this 95+ degree weather (more about this Sprite below). Lunch consisted of a Southwest Chicken Salad and a vanilla shake. The salad was what you'd expect in a diner, the salsa dressing was spicy and good and the vanilla shake was OK. Proportions were big, I wasn't able to finish the salad or the shake. My husband had a hamburger with fries, both were good. *Upon taking a drink of my Sprite, which came in a bottle, I immediately knew this was bottled somewhere other than the USA. Anyone that has traveled to another country and ordered a soda, knows that they can be very different tasting than what we are used to here in the states. Although the Sprite "bottle" is cool looking and unique and we don't see them around much, I am not a fan of the taste of soda bottled elsewhere, in this case, Mexico. Other than the Sprite issue, this was a great lunch place and I'm glad we stumbled upon it.

Showed up and it was empty, pretty little place in the middle of nowhere. Ordered a milkshake, which tasted fantastic. Our server was nice and was clearly overworked when the place filled up for lunch. The food took a very long time to come out. Waitress was nice and apologized for the wait. we got our food, and were sadly disappointed. Both of our plates had hash browns, however one was perfectly done and the other flavorless, salt less, greaseless, and tasted like barely cooked potato skin. my omelet had all the right ingredients to be delicious but I found it very lacking. not sure what went wrong here but we probably won't return. on a side note- the bathrooms were nicer than some 5 star restaurants I have been to.

Being a kid from the big city. The bulldog diner looks kinda small and skeptical from the outside. But once you walk in the door. There is a clean, friendly, home cooked meal aroma type of atmosphere. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and too my surprise... It freaking tasted like someone made it at at BBQ on a hot 4th of July day... It was utterly fantastic....

Fantastic food! Easy to find (right off I-84). Biggest burger I have ever had. Perfectly cooked. The beef is seasoned and not greasy. Cinnamon rolls are outstanding also. My family had a great time and the owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. Oh, they also have fresh ground premium coffee. For a small town that puts them in a category of awesomeness that surpasses anywhere within 20 miles. Milkshakes and deserts looked good too. I will save that for next time.

Do not miss this place!! Brand new but owners said they had a different place nearby for 4 years. I can't remember the last time I had a truly great cheeseburger and fries and the ones here were fabulous! Service great. Staff friendly and attentive. Prices more than reasonable. And it is right off the freeway so a quick off and on if you need it! I run the Hwy 84 corridor several times a year and I stop here every time from now on!

Amazing tasting food and large portions. Pancakes taste like mom made them and one of the best German pancakes(Dutch babies) we've ever tried. Very clean and friendly staff. Easy to find and one of our new favorite stops on the I-84 corridor.

Nice newly remodeled cafe with very good food. Had the eggs Benedict. Hash browns were cooked perfectly, not greasy and not overcooked. The Benny was delicious. Fresh squeezed OJ compliments the meal. If ever in the area again, this will be a regular stop.

Nobody there when we arrived. Three others came while we were there. They can not fry eggs well done, yolk broke nothing runny first time. Have to eat rest of food while they try again. Succeeded second time but waiter wasn't sure if they had. Hate having to eat half the food while waiting for eggs. Average portions. Kind of spendy for amount of food. Gravy was good. Went out of way to eat here based on other reviews. I'd eat here again if I had to but would not make it a point to.
