The food isn't bad. It's not the best either. I love that you can order a combo and get fries with a burrito! And the fries aren't those crappy shoestring variety that are always too crunchy, they're the thick, crinkle-cut kind! Not to mention, they're not over salted...and that's a good thing for fast food. The variety is pretty good too. They offer all sorts of mexican fare as well as burgers. Also, the employees were very friendly and got my order out fairly quickly. I think it's worth the price.

I like Mexican food...good Mexican food, but Rose is no fan of that spicy fare so I was a bit surprised when she suggested trying this place for a late snack. What she actually wanted, it turned out, was some cheese nachos like the ones she used to get when she was a telephone operator in Makati City, Philippines. The place wasn't very crowded so we went right up to the counter to order. Rose opted for the "Macho Nocho" since it looked pretty much like her favorite cheese and beef nachos from her operator days. I chose the taco salad just to try something different. Rose's nachos came topped with cheese and beef, alright, but also jalapeño peppers...a big minus for her since she does not like spicy heat in her food. She bravely and carefully removed the peppers, only to find that much of the "beef" was in fact refried beans, which she doesn't like much either. So this dish was a disappointment for her since much of it she didn't care to eat. My taco salad came in a nice edible "bowl", crispy, flaky, deep-fried and tasty. But the contents was mostly shredded lettuce and some cheese. The grilled chicken in it was very good, but also very sparse. I was still hungry when I finished, even though I ate most of Rose's refried beans too. To be fair, we noticed signs for shrimp and fish tacos, and I do like fish tacos. We may return to try them, if only because Del Taco is so convenient to our home. If they're good, I may have to bump up this rating by a star. "Rose's Cafe" #rosescafe1 rosescafe1.blogspot.com

I'm typing this while I'm ordering from this lady who must be new. It's taking 10+ mins to take an order. Not cool! Hopefully I get my food in the next hour. Update food came out fast but our order was wrong and my tacos were cold. Did not even bother to get it corrected as there was a very long line because the cashier was soooo slow. Will not come here again!!

Move over Taco Bell; take a number Taco Time. Del Taco is in town. This place is definitely worth checking out for a fast food joint. I had their .59 bean/cheese burrito and a crunchy taco supreme for .99. Both were very good. I will be ordering those items again. I was particularly impressed with their hot sauces. I like extremely spicy foods so I have a pretty high standard. Usually, I never get hot sauce that's very hot at all. However, their mild is spicier than most taco places hot sauce, and Del Taco's hot sauce is actually spicy for a fast food joint. I was impressed with that aspect of my meal. Bottom line is this, if you want a cheap fast food Mex-meal than forgo the other places (unless you're just craving a particular item) and hit Del Taco. A big bonus is the fact that they are a 24/7 place. So Cool!

Frankly, I'm a taco guy. That's why I have a bedroom in the back of the local Taco Bell. I stay there on weekends and eat the food that they make incorrectly.* I decided to give Del Taco a try, and they are actually pretty good, depending on what you get. The Macho Tacos are worth it, and I will be ordering them again sometime in the future. They had good flavor and the shell was satisfyingly crunchy, sort of like when a masked vigilante satisfyingly destroys the crunchy femur of a mugger in an alleyway. The nachos, however were disappointing. I rather would have made them at home. Interesting thing is, I've never seen a taco place that sells fries, but this one does. I don't know if it was a fluke or if this is normal, but the fries didn't have very much salt, if any at all. I didn't count that into my score because saltiness is a matter of personal preference. However, the food quality has been good so far, and I'm looking forward to trying their other items. If I find them to be awesome, I'll raise the score to four stars. However, I don't plan on moving out of Taco Bell anytime soon. I loves me some TBell. *Did you really believe I live at Taco Bell? Ha. Haha.

I haven't had Del Taco since I moved away from California 25 years ago, so I was jazzed to see it come to Roseburg. This place just opened up a day or so ago. It is open 24 hours/day and was a treat to get a burrito at 8am in the morning. The staff seemed friendly enough and the food tasted as good as I expected it to be

Was in a hurry and needed something fast and went to this Del Taco for some quick lunch (drive up). Got through the line quick, food was hot, tasty and served with a smile. Price was inexpensive for the quality being fast food (tasted like homemade on the burrito, taco and quesadilla. Not bad! Check the specials!

Went here a couple months back to try their food. Needless to say I am never going back! It is a complete waste of money. I felt like I had thrown my money away. For what I had ordered I expected tacos and burritos to contain meat in them. And instead I got very little to none, stale taco shells but they didn't forget to put the lettuce on there!

Del Shannon sang "Runaway" and that's good advice for dealing with Del Taco. There's a reason they disappeared from Eugene more than two decades ago. Bland is their middle name. But if Taco Bell is your idea of a satisfying Mexican restaurant, you're sure to rank Del Taco with five stars.
