I'm from out of town and went here for dinner. I have to say, I was impressed! I have had a lot of Bun and Pho from many different places, and while I wouldn't say this place is the best, it was certainly way better than I expected from a smaller city. If you like pho (or bun!) you will be satisfied with this place, but it might not blow your socks off. Service was totally fine, everyone was kind and helpful. Everything is made fresh so the time-to-food was expected. I would imagine if it were busier the time would be longer. Decor was cute, nothing too notable.

The food is great. However they are S L O W. It takes at least 40 to45 minutes to get even one entree. I never go here on my lunch hour because I know I won't get my food in time. It's really a shame because the food is great, but it has caused me to stop going because I don't have the time to waste. Also, my favorite dish (chicken curry) isn't on the menu and is only a special on Fridays SOMETIMES. Sometimes they don't have it at all. So this combination of long waits and inconsistency means that I no longer go to Pho house.

Bland! The pho tasted like chicken broth that was overly salted, a clump of rice noodles, and over cooked meat. Avoid if you like pho.

We love Pho House and the owners. Every item we have tried on the menu is delicious. The spring rolls, beef pho and vietnamese coffee are like cat nip for people!

We had the egg rolls and spring rolls. The egg rolls were crisp and delicious and the spring rolls were also great. Some people may know this spring rolls as summer rolls. The type that isn't deep friend and the rice paper is transparent. I had the special pho with slices of beef and meatballs. They were all delicious. Had a desert that had some red and white beans, coconut shaving, coconut milk, nuts, palm sugar. When we arrived, one person was eating. After he left, only one other person walked in for take out. I hope more people will visit so that the place stays in business.

Great food, every time. Owners are awesome people as well. Will continue to eat here and support them!

This is as good as pho gets. Absolutely incredible, flavorful broth that you could put an old tennis shoe in and you would still rave about it. But, they go the more traditional route with sliced beef, vietnamese meat balls, etc., and the plate of sliced jalapenos, bean sprouts, basil and lime, with a big pile of silky noodles at the bottom of the bowl. The bbq pork bun dish was also fantastic. It will make your mouth water just thinking about how soon you can return. Flat out nice people and a big value for the amount of food you get. mmmmmmmm

Yum. Can't always rely on reviews but this is a keeper. Have eaten there twice in two weeks. Tofu Banh Mi once and Pho the other time. Next time I'm getting both at once!

I've eaten several meals at Pho House - this is the real deal, folks. Authentic Vietnamese food, with a Banh Mi sandwich (the Special) that is second to none. I wanted to order a second sandwich after I finished the first, but I thought better of it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The decor is minimal and clean (as a good Pho shop should be). I live in Prineville and make a point of visiting Pho House any time I am in Redmond because restaurants like this deserve a steady patronage. Highly recommended.

Food is amazing! Owner is a jerk. Soooooo.... We won't be back at least not for awhile. I either ordered incorrectly or got an incorrect order , either way I didn't eat it. I couldn't eat it. It had a horrible meaty taste and sent it back. He offered replacement. I assumed ( apparently wrongly) that he intended to replace it with what I had originally thought I ordered..... However, when my server came to ask me if I still wanted the replacement (it was taking for ever to get ) and he had planned on charging me for both dishes , I left. Interesting business move in my opinion. I left the money for the food I ate and ordered with a tip for the server and walked out. Sad because I LOVED his food. I have never experienced this before in ANY RESTAURANT. I was quite surprised.

Amazing Pho with generous portions and the perfect lunch spot.

I didn't have high expectations from probably the only Vietnamese pho restaurant in town, and I was right. The pho broth is bland, not fragrant. On the plus side, the meat was perfect and lots of noodles. My daughter had the teriyaki chicken, which tasted like unmarinated chicken tossed in a hot pan with soy sauce and chili. The chicken was also tough, almost rubber...couldn't cut it with a fork.

Vegetarian pho, are you serious? Yes, they are serious, and it's really good. Fresh veggies and delicious broth. And the owners are so sweet. Great place.

Pho'k yeah! To give this place a one star, somebody has to have a thorn up their butt. Been here at least 6-7 times, and while the service isn't the greatest, it's solid. The Pho is phoking good, and I actually prefer it to most of the places in Bend. Just be patient if they are busy, and be happy you can eat good ethnic food in Redmond that isn't chain/ fast food. Get the extra meat on "the special."

Was driving through the area and couldn't make up our mind on where to eat and drove by the sign. So we hit Yelp and quickly made out way back! My wife and I started off with the tofu spring rolls which were very good. I got the Beef Pho and she got the Veggie Pho. Both were great! Price is very fair and the bowls are HUGE. I'm a heavy eater and I was truly stuffed after eating my entire bowl. I'm from California but I hope to make it back here again sometime. Very friendly staff as well!

I don't know what Pho House you guys are going to, but it can't be the one I went to. Service was lousy, the pho is generic and bland with almost no meat in it, my wifes teriyaki was hugely expensive for basically a plate of rice and veggies with very little chicken, the kids pho was so hot my kid couldn't eat it without burning himself, and they were playing non-stop 60's and 70's greatest hits. In a Vietnamese restaurant. How about a little Run Through The Jungle and Fortunate Son while noshing on some bland Vietnamese. Also the egg rolls were too hot to handle, which is a great thing in an appetizer.

Tucked in next to a pizza delivery place in a small strip mall on the east side of 97. Stopped during dinner time and only three other tables were taken. Had the beef pho which was served in a bowl large enough to feed two people and Included a plate of fixings to add to the pho. Decent Vietnamese coffee and good Thai tea too. Reasonably fast service, and beats every pho place in Bend. Will certainly be going back.

This place is wonderful. Hard to mess up Pho, but this one was extremely delicious. I also tasted the vegetable spring rolls, and they were excellent! They were served with a scrumptious peanut sauce. Also available at the table was a soy based sauce that tasted kind of like BBQ sauce. It was a nice complement to the egg rolls as well. The server was very friendly and everything tasted FRESH. The restaurant itself left much to be desired. Just a hole in the wall place with tables and chairs, but that was all I needed. The food was excellent and prices were very reasonable!

Very friendly and so authentic you'll have to ask them to hold the tripe. Uggch! I must confess I don't know much about Vietnamese food but this is fantastic. I really liked the cluster of fresh basil and jalapenos they set on the table for garnish.

Pho was okay. It had good flavor but a little too salty for my pallet. Service was great tho.

Daughter adored teriyaki chicken dinner! Believe me show knows good Asian grubs! I had a tofu noodle dish. Tofu was cooked to perfection.

I was in town on business. The Pho House was close to the motel I was staying at. The pho was good. The broth seemed a little bit salty. I didn't put any salt in it, so I'm not sure how that happened. The egg rolls were hot and crispy. The service was good. If I make it to Redmond again, I would probably stop at the Pho House again.

Not many options, I myself went for pho but my fiance and little brother wanted something else. Due to the lack of options my fiance ended up with pho as well and my brother had some teriyaki something or other. Nice people working and pretty good food. Not as good as what I'm used to in California but seeing as how the options are limited in central Oregon it was good. I will be going back

I live in Bend and have given the pho places there many chances and they always disappoint me. This one-on the south end of Redmond-did not disappoint. I have also come to accept that I will have to watch sports TV and listen to bad Asian music in a Vietnamese restaurant - not the case here. No TV in sight and decent lunch music was playing. I'll be back.

It takes alot to leave a review for a restaurant where in portland there are hundreds, but this lil spot has a great atmosphere, good food, and excellent customer service, I wouldn't hesitate to make this a stop for lunch or early dinner. I do like that they server Pad Thai here, and its very good. Great place!

Okay, Redmondites, let's try to keep this place in business! Yeah yeah, driving to Bend for Pho isn't THAT far, but isn't it nice to get a steaming hot bowl of pho right here in our town? Once realizing this place is now open, (and has been for a couple months), I stopped in and treated myself to some beef pho. I may be Asian but I'm not a very good one, and have only had Pho from three different places. This includes the wonderful Pho at Pho Vietcafe and a place in Eugene that was so bland and tasteless I would've rather had a can of Progresso. Pho House's Pho is just as good as Vietcafe, and in fact, tastes very similar though I didn't have a side by side comparison. Pretty utilitarian decor and not much seating, but comfortable enough. The owner is very nice and I mentioned Savara's review and we talked about Frank. Frank has "gone viral." Frank, if you're out there: I''ve never met you but I feel like I've known you my whole life. Appetizers of spring rolls and egg rolls were wonderful. Only comes with two but they are BIG. And my glass of red wine for 4.00 was HUGE. Maybe not the best quality, but when you have that much it all tastes pretty good by the end.

Delicious Pho. Super friendly staff. Even my 3-year old loves this place.

This is the only Pho place in Redmond and it is awesome. There is a guy, I think he called himself Frank, who eats here everyday. Frank says since the opening of Pho House, on Dec. 17th, he has only missed 2 days. That is impressive. My fiance and I want to join Frank's campaign to keep Pho House open. We shared the fresh spring roll for an appetizer and I must say they are some of the best I have ever had. Maybe even the best. They fried the tofu and wrapped them fresh! The tofu Pho really was delicious. The flavor of the broth did not disappoint. Their menu is small but this place is worth checking out. Frank says that the chicken Pho has kept him healthy and full of energy all winter long. :)

I lived in Seattle for 10 years, but moved back to Prineville a year ago. I was so spoiled over there with a pho place on every corner, I forgot what a wasteland Central Oregon used to be with its lack of good asian restaurants. Pho House makes me miss Seattle a little less because it's authentic, delicious, and my vegan pho is still piping hot by the time I get my to-go bag back to Prineville. Definitely try the tofu spring rolls and veggie pho. So good, so comforting.....and now I want to drive the 20 miles and get some more!

We eat a lot of pho (all over Portland and Salem area) and I have to say this was very good. We ordered sandwiches, spring rolls and the Special Pho. Everything was good. They took the ham & pate sandwich off the menu so if u want that, it's not available.

  • Matt R.

Hands down the best pho I've had in Central Oregon. Yes. If I lived in Bend I'd drive here to eat it. Spring rolls were made fresh to order.

My husband and I get pho several times a week. Some places can be a bit dingy, but Pho House was clean and bright, the basil and bean sprouts were perfectly fresh, and the soup was delicious.

Great pho and banh mi sandwiches too! A family owned restaurant serving ma's delicious recipes. Very friendly service and great prices. Delicious café sua da/ iced coffee. Compares favorably to pho restaurants in Portland, San Jose and Little Saigon/Orange County. I'll be back on a regular basis.
