The biggest draw of this particular McDonalds is the indoor play area. Buy lunch and the kids get a free play session. I visited for lunch today and it was busy. In fact, it was so busy they were handing out pagers that would call you when your food was ready. Mickey D has pagers? Fast food is slowing down. My order came out wrong and the kids food was cold. I took it back to counter and the manager was dancing in circles trying to fill all the orders. He apologized and ordered another burger. I though he had forgotten about the kids food, but as soon as my burger came up he tossed the kids food and replaced it all with greasy food. What I thought was going to be a bad lunch turned out great. Thanks!

Several times going through the drive-through my order has been wrong. Either the wrong items or missing items. When I pointed out I was missing an item, I was told I did not pay for it, even though I had. She was rude and very unhelpful. Beware of missing items and be sure to get a receipt to prove what you paid for.

As a child I remember coming here and getting a cool little toy and eating some great tasting food. I'm not one to eat fast food very often but having recently trying the food again I can't believe the change. The taste has diminished and the price tag has tripled. Sorry guys but my childhood memories are the ones ill hang onto, not my new ones.

The kids' chicken mcnugget happy meal was as expected. Ordered a chocolate shake for myself and it might be my imagination, but it seems to have a faint mint flavor. We are really just here for the indoor play area, though. When it rains a lot (as is usual for Portland), it's nice to have the kids let off steam somewhere dry. This playplace has a toddler area with a tiny slide and play tunnel, and a larger structure with a tube slide for the bigger kids. We've been here about 25 minutes and a worker has come in twice - once to wipe down the tables and another time to sweep. The kids are happy and I am glad for a little break. :-)

Omg! This playplace is amazing! They have a toddler area, DDR, 2 computer game screens, and hoop area with balls! I have never seen such an awesome playplace! My 2yo loves it here! As for the food... It's standard McDonald food. Nothing special. Service was fine. Got our food pretty fast.

A friend of mine recommended I try out McDonalds restaurant, specifically for their Quarter Pound hamburger. I looked online to see if I could locate a McDonalds restaurant somewhere on the west side of town and as luck would have it, I found one just a few miles from my home. I try to keep an open mind when sampling something new, but I guess my expectations were a bit inflated given the rave review from my friend. As recommended, I tried the Quarter Pound hamburger but upgraded it to a cheeseburger, and though it wasn't bad, it just wasn't that earth-shattering either. I may try McDonalds restaurant again sometime if I'm desperate for a hamburger and happen to be in a town that has one, but I won't go too far out of my way.

Uses Old Oil ... Does not taste like other McDonalds The fries tasted like old oil as did the fish sandwich and fish poppers. Went back for breakfast and the hash browns had the same old sour oil taste. The Egg McMuffin had a scrambled egg on it rather than the poached egg on it. Also returned for one of the Premier Veggie Ranch Wraps and the sauce had a funny taste to it. The quality control at this McDonald's is not what I am use to. Training or Quality Control problem here. So 3 visits in 1 week, and all disappointing!!

Fun play area for kids. Food tastes like McDonald's should. Good customer service. Pretty clean. Kids love it. Good play date place.

I hate this McDonalds. They don't always participate in the national promotions so the prices are sometimes higher and their drive thru is terrible. Slow people that don't have a clue. This is a terrible McDonalds.

I stopped here to get a McCafe and went inside to use the restroom. I use a walking cane and my friend who lives here accompanied me and waited outside the restrooms. The handicap support bars in the toilet were at such a height and right under the tissue dispenser that it became impossible to stand up on my own. I called my friend from inside and he summoned the help of a manager. The two of them pulled me up and then I washed up and went out. I did not get anything there. I was exhausted from the physical effort.

The drive-thru window at this McDonald's is like the Bermuda Triangle... orders go in, but only SOME of your food comes out! I've been here a bunch of times, and most of the time, something is missing from my order: straws, napkins, the correct food item, sauce (when requested). C'mon! I will say that management was very receptive to my complaint. Hopefully, its gotten better since my last visit.

    1) I ONLY eat breakfast at McDonalds 2) My son LOVES their hash-browns which we get on the way to his school most days 3) They have little turnover, which shows me the management is fairly good, they are usually VERY fast and rarely mess up the order at all. Advice, the McMuffins (the muffin in particular) are usually freshest on Monday's and Fridays.

First of all: this is a McDonald's. It serves the same exact food as any other Mcdonald's. It didn't magically become a Nouveau American Fare Bistro. So go in expecting the kind of food you'd get at... Well, McDonald's. Now having said that, this particular location was remodeled in very recent years to resemble kind of an upscale deli (?) and is BY FAR the nicest McDonald's anywhere. It's clean, shiny, new, chic (dare I say?!), has ditched the old vinyl white, yellow and red color scheme on the walls, has palm trees and water features in the parking lot and along the drive thru and... OH YES, the reason for this review: AN INDOOR PLAY AREA. If on a classic Oregon, dreary, wet day one needs to take their kids somewhere to play for an hour-ish and throw some food at them and not have it cost $37, this is the place. There are lots of tables, free wi-fi, a host of things to satisfy the kids (and you, frankly) from the menu, regular clean up, a play structure, a toddler area, some balls and hoops, couple of interactive "video game" setups... do you really want more? There's no admission. It's free. And lots of parents go here, so you don't have to feel like a deadbeat, toting your kids to McD's. Occasionally, bigger, unsupervised kids make their way in and tick off everyone (especially after school), but it's generally loaded with the under 6 crowd and their Westside moms or dads in Nike pants and iPhones, hoping the kid will leave them alone for like. Two. Friggin. Seconds. If you live in the area and don't always feel like the usual kiddie hotspots, try this out in your rotation. And good luck - having kids is h-a-r-d.

  • Miwako T.

I second Brian. They got a nice play area with structures for kids and smaller climb-up structures (like those in the Washington Square Mall play area) for toddlers on the side. (and a basket ball net? or some kind of stuff there). Also they seem to have a free wifi and it worked well.

Its fast food what else can I say??

Food is the same as any other McDonalds. Indoor playland is great for the kiddos when the weather is nasty and being outside isn't optimal.

Love to drive through this place and get my Big Mac meal Supersized. Greasy wonderful keeps me sober for a long night of drinking with the big boyz.

McDonalds was McYuck until i discovered their McCafe... definitely a Mc-Do. yes, i am so lovin' it! the coffee is good, fresh, and friendly: it appeals to a wide range of people from the hardcore java addicts - who are able to make the distinction between robusta & arabica just from the aroma - to the starbucks ignorant that just want a regular sized coffee without having to decipher tall/grande/venti, latte vs. macchiato or cappuccino. i'm an avid coffee drinker and I do like to throw back the extra shot-no room for cream-americanos, but sometimes i just want coffee, and mc d's delivers just that without compromising quality. i suggest you check out their iced coffees, and if you really feel like going Mc-wild try their cappuccinos, lattes, or mochas ~ all excellent! this location is the only place i know of in the area that offers these "fancier" options.

  • Tim O.

I will not spend much time on this place. This past summer I got food poisoning from this particular McDonald's....basically I couldn't hold any food/water down for 24 hours. Also, to semi-borrow a line from family guy to complete my analogy to McD's: If you eat here..."they will make you do a Christmas movie with Tim Allen." I know, I said it, but I guess the underlying theme of this review is....find somewhere else to dine!
