Wow! Kind surprised by the negative reviews. But everyone has their own expectations. We've been a fan of Jersey Mike's since we lived on the east coast and had a close one near our house. It was always our go-to-place for quick lunch or dinner. I was psyched to see one at Cascade Station. We frequent this one once a week and the staff literally knows exactly what our sammies are before we even step up to the counter. We've never had a bad sandwich here ever. Yeah the staff never engages in conversation but at least they remember us and stay focused on making the sandwich. I'm not sure what everyones gripe is about how long it takes to wait but hello, sandwiches do take a few minutes to make. ALL Jersey Mike's have lines during lunch hour. I can attest to that since I've been to a lot of them! The mini #7 on wheat is my fav and it's also my weekly comfort food. When the staff remembers you every time you walk in, to me I'm happy to throw on a dollar for a tip.

Well, I do not usually use social media to vent my feelings. Although this time I feel that it is warranted. Today my co-workers and I decided to order Jersey Mikes. Normally we have a very good experience and order there at least twice a week. Today I got the number 9 wrap Mikes way (my go to lunch) with chips. I also ordered a number 8 for a friend in the office with a list of changes and extra pickles and chips. We sent another co-worker down to pick up the order. It is about a 20 min drive from the office. 45 min round trip. We finally got our heavily awaited deliciousness and was immediately disappointed. My friends #8 was not made right and no extra pickles and no chips. I started eating my first half of my wrap and it tasted a little off but didn't really register for a minute. Then I looked closely. My roast beef was raw....literally bloody. There was blood all over my paper. It turned my turkey red and turned my stomach. My tortilla shell was mushy and red on the underside from the blood. The meat was redder than the tomatoes I don't mind some pink in my meat but this was rediculous. I called in and spoke the the manager she offered me a new wrap with free chips and drink. Very nice of her. I told her that we ordered chips and didn't get em. Also, we did not have another 45 min to spare coming back in. I asked for a refund. I was told the only way to get this is to come back in with my card. Again, did not have 45 min to waste for $15. Needless to say I was less than impressed. I work in customer service and sometimes you can't make someone happy no matter what you do. Maybe I was one of those today but dang it I was served RAW meat and do not feel as though anyone cared. I am going to try to upload a pic here just to show what I was served....ugh

The first time I ate here I was impressed. I had a cold cut sandwich and they sliced my meat for me on the spot! The workers were real friendly and almost cocky when talking about the sandwiches which I thought was pretty funny. The next time I came in I went for a hot sub and so did my partner. I think she got a chicken one and it pretty much tasted like barf. It was creamy and sour and they used a microwave to warm up the meat or melt the cheese. Using a microwave at restaurant is pretty depressing. We don't even use a microwave at home. So if you come here get the cold cut sandwiches because the hot ones are nasty.

If you like Slow Service, this is the place for you! As you walk up to the counter to order, you will be ignored until after the employees are finished talking about their boyfriends personal habits. When one does acknowledge your presence, they will keep talking until you so Rudely interrupt and place an order for a sandwich. I thought this may have been just my experience, but when 5 more people walked in and couldn't order in a timely fashion, it occurred that this place doesn't appreciate their customers. Finally a young man walked out from the back room with a load of bread and immediately started asking customers what they would like to order. This didn't have any effect on the two woman making the Slowest sandwiches in the World however. I think I'll find another sandwich shop. Too many great options in this city to waste time and money on service like this.

Let me start off by saying that I am a real fan of Jersey Mike's. I have given the Tualatin location a four star review and I have been there at least a dozen times. Today I went to the Cascade Station store for the first time for a late lunch (around 3:00). There were four employees doing various tasks like restocking potato chips. There was one employee making sandwiches, When I entered the store, there was one person ordering. I don't know what the problem was, but I waited over ten minutes and they still hadn't gotten to making their sandwich or taking my order. No one else jumped in to help. I got tired of waiting and went elsewhere. Maybe it was the time of day (between lunch and dinner), but whatever the reason, the service was totally unacceptable. I may give them another chance some day, but if this happens at this store again, it will be the last time for me.

The people who work here are Cool and very helpful. I had 2 sandwiches here, the Philly cheese steak and the meatball sandwich. I was so disappointed in both, it's doesn't taste fresh to me, taste like the sauces are made with no seasonings fresh garlic, onions spices. Not sure if the sauce is made there or contracted out. The Philly was better than the Meatball. I really wanted to like this place...dang

Ate at Jersey Mike's a while back and I cannot tell you what I even had (never a good sign) - I'm trying really hard to think, was it the cheese steak? I can recall the frozen, pre-made cheese steak I picked up from my local frozen food isle months ago, but I cannot remember Jersey Mike's? I do remember the cost didn't seem to justify the experience whatsoever. Along with the "no refills" in big bold sharpie on the drink fountain. And for being such a little hole in the wall set along the foot traffic in Cascade station, the tables were not wiped.

Unimpressive sandwhich, not bad but definitely not worth the price. Also the tables were dirty and the meat/cheese slicer looked like it hadn't been cleaned... won't be returning.

I've been coming to this location weekly first because I work near by but it's the staff that keeps bringing me back. I'm not a fan of overly processed minced meat (which is why I can't give five stars) - so I don't order most of their cold sandwiches - although there roast beef and sliced steak are in house and legit. The people here are very friendly and the food and price is great for a work lunch. It won't take long for them to remember you and your order- I like that. This place is great if your in the area and would like a good quick lunch. They have a point system you can save up and get free meals. I recommend if you get it "mikes way" to get it on the side if you don't want a soggy sandwich. Their wraps are pretty good too. P.s I think they have free birthday meals. Give me a try and see what you think. My experiences have always been good.

I was super excited to try this place, heard a lot of hype. I got the Jersey Shore's Favorite, and loved that the meat and cheese was paper thin and the bread was soft. I ordered it Mike's Way, which sounded amazing, but then I got home and realized that Mike apparently didn't love mayo like I do.Mike's Way doesn't include mayo. Bummer. It was a good sandwich, but nothing stood out over other sandwich places. The staff were really friendly and helpful, since it was my first time. The place was clean and bright, with lots of parking. I might try it again - with mayo this time - and see if it makes a difference.

Reminds me of our old Sub shop. We first found this place in Washington and got super excited when they opened in Portland. Fresh and yummy every time. When we are in the mood for a good sandwich we drive 20 minutes just for Jersey Mike's. I have to say today's guy seemed very new and did not know what was going on.

Unimpressed. Sandwiches where ok, Philly steak and cheese. employees where NOT friendly. They ask for a tip before we even get our food. Tip a fast food place? I get the feeling we are supposed to be impressed.. yea, ok. I'll stick with subway. I like them much better. If this is what Jersey subs are like, they can keep them...

I have been a fan of Jersey MIke's for many, many years. It had been 2 years since I had been able to enjoy their wonderful sandwiches, that is, until last week. This region needed someone to come in and introduce The Pacific Northwest how to make proper East Coast sub. They are absolutely Delicious. This is one of the few places I dont have to ask for extra meat on my Italian Subs (the #13). I still ask for extra meat on the Cheesesteak (the #17) but thats for personal reasons. It's one of my favorite franchise Cheesesteaks!! A Solid Meatball Sub (The #15), ask for extra sauce!! The Club (The #8) Is Excellent. This location has a amazing crew, friendly service. Highly recommended. especially for flying out of the airport. You know.....That carry-on sub that everyone is jealous of you about because they didn't think of it before their flight. You can be "that" person. Just make sure you make the right selections so you don't suffer from soggy sub syndrome... unless your into that sort of thing. Open till 9pm 7days a week Several Locations will be opening up around the Portland Area over the next few months. Mandatory Stop for sandwich junkies!! And...... to all you fussy "Anti-franchise" Portlanders, its a fresh, high-quality USA made product. Look beyond your snubbery and give this place a try.

I had a BOGO coupon for Jersey Mike's and decided to check out this store. The subs were awesome (Turkey Breast/Provolone and a Steak Philly) but the guy serving me was an absolute trainwreck. I can usually make my way through the requisite three to four minutes of small talk involved while your sub is made, but I left the store wanting to shoot myself in the head. Probably a few rounds to the chest, too, for good measure. I will be staying far, far away from this store for fear of ever having to discuss my Zodiac compatibility with this employee again, or hearing about the party he went to and his friend's lesbian relationship.

Wow. First visit today, 10-06-14 around 2:00pm. Two girls working the counter. No smiles. No welcoming attitude. Basically "Whachu want?" and slap it together. Oops...can we change the drink? You might've thought I asked her to turn water into wine. Tried easy going smile and attitude but theirs remained frigid and irritable. Until they got back to chatting with each other and then they were warm and friendly. The sandwich was roast beef and it was as tasteless and cold as the service. Don't get oil and vinegar unless you want your bread to be soggier than a baby's diaper after a full bottle. The music was modern and the place was clean. There, I like to try to end things on a positive.

Good location, Cascade Station, next to airport. Staff was friendly both times we went. Although service (with no one else in line) both visits was extremely SLOW. it takes them forever to make anything. In any case, I love their veggie sub. My sis loves their hot subs. My hubby loves their subs in a tub (no carb). Their Giant subs are actually GIANT. So you get what you pay for (at over $10 a pop).

Man I love this place, a good honest jersey style sand!! You cant go wrong here hot or cold sands are awesome. Super fresh produce, fresh cut meats, "the juice", get it mikes way and enjoy the awesome service.

I'm from New Jersey and this is the place to go for a sub... especially if you are a transplant like myself. Try the number 13 and get it Mike's Way. My kids were in heaven!!! The customer service was beyond awesome. We felt welcome the minute we stepped through the door. Of course, we're standing there staring at the menu like it was an egyptian science exhibit because there were so many amazing choices. The owner stepped up and started explaining all of the options and pointed us in the right direction. The staff behind the counter sliced all of our meat fresh as we made our order. He even gave us samples of the Capicola (Hot Ham) to try. He also explained that they get all fo their meat from the same guy to keep the quality up to their standards. I like that. When you find something you like, you stick with it. Nice. The portions are generous and you won't go hungry. They also use good quality paper to wrap your sub which is especially important if you get it Mike's Way. We had no problem with vinegar/olive oil leaking through the paper. The restaurant is clean, open and lots of seating. I can't wait to go back! I might even get a sub to take on the plane with me on my next trip.

I went for lunch because I was staying in a hotel nearby. I used to live in Cincinnati and would get Jersey Mike's for lunch. 15 years later I still miss their tuna salad sub. It was as good as I remember, but they kind of skimp on the amount of tuna salad. The employees here made this a great visit. Any quick order place would be lucky to have this group!

Highly recommend the sandwiches here however I don't highly recommend the staff. Most of them are not focused on getting the sandwiches out in a timely manner and instead engage in conversation among themselves distracting each other. Went in on a Wednesday night and it took them 25 minutes to make 4 sandwiches for the person ahead of me. When I finally got my order in the man behind the counter told me that he was sorry the sandwiches took so long but it was because his coworker was slow. I said that wasn't a very nice thing to say about his coworker then he told me and his coworker that "he offended me" and started laughing. He didn't offend me he just annoyed me. Again, yummy sandwiches if you are willing to deal with a so so staff who aren't customer service oriented.

The Reuben was mediocre at best. Pastrami is shredded and overcooked... its almost prepared like a Philly. Sandwiches are over priced for what what you get ( quality). There's not much worth eating at Cascade station.

I'm from south jersey, the cheese steak is as close to legit as you are gonna get in Portland it was delicious, its up to you not to screw it up... you need steak, cheese, and grilled onions with optional mushrooms/peppers everything else is a mistake. Why is chicken even an option on a steak and cheese?

Be sure to bring your appetite. The smallest sub would have been plenty for me and I am a big eater. My husband got the largest one and he had left overs. Next time we will get the largest one and just share it. The meats are very flavorful and they slice them per order. No meat sitting around in piles waiting to be used. The veggies were the freshest I have seen in a sub shop. They pile the sandwich high with fresh shredded lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I asked for pickles and banana peppers on mine as well. They put plenty of oil and vinegar and top it off with salt, pepper and oregano. The bread is very springy and dense at the same time. The only down side to my experience here were the dirty tables. All of them had some sort of mess on them. I did go ask for a rag so I would be able to wipe one of the tables down and the manager apologized to me and immediately went out and started wiping down the tables. I will go back because of the great tasting sandwiches and the friendly staff. Oh and BONUS we each got a free cookie with our order.

I had the #4, Mike's way, and it was very tasty. The meat and cheese are sliced for each sandwich ordered and the veggies (lettuce, tomatoes and onions) are very fresh. I'll definitely return and I'd recommend their subs to anyone wanting a quick, easy and very tasty alternative to "regular fast food."

Finally a good chain to get a decent Italian sandwich. Try the #13 "Mikey's Style". I've eaten here half a dozen times and have yet to be disappointed.

  • Katherine K.

Sometimes less is indeed more. And in this case, it is the most. As in the most delicious sub I've eaten in quite some time. So what do I mean by less? Less options for toppings. Sometimes, you don't need a lot of veggies or saucy condiments. Sometimes, you just need a really good roll, hand-sliced meat, fresh lettuce and tomato (and if you're like me and 4 months pregnant, a slew of dill pickles). Splash on some vinegar and oil, some herbs and voila! Insert in face. I had a regular turkey and provolone here today, and was blown away by the friendly service and the quality of the sandwich. If you go during lunchtime, know that there will be a line...and wait in it. Trust me.

I went to Jersey Mike's for the first time on Saturday. Not bad at all. I would go back. It is more expensive than Subway but then again, it is fresh and tastes a lot better too. Thank you for the delicious tuna sub!

My goto lunch spot when at work! Staff is EXCELLENT! Always super fast and very courteous never moody or off their game. They cut the meat for you right there, fresh bread, fresh veggies, what more can you ask for! Always have to order it Mike's way.

Honestly, the subs were good, very good; but how many ways can you make your sub sandwich stand-out from the competition? Well Jersey Mike's has figured out one way. When we walked in the door we were greeted by a sincere sounding "welcome"! Nice touch. Being first time visitors, the staff smiled continuously, as they patiently explained the menu options. My wife has a special diet plan (carbs are a big no-no) and they offered to go in back and make a lettuce wrap for here even though it is not on the menu. Nice! All the ingredients were very fresh looking and tasting. The tomato's were red, lettuce crisp, and apparently they roast their own beef on site rather than bring it in pre-packaged. It was quite good. The shop is new so one would expect it to be clean, and it was. We received a hearty "thank you" when we left. All-in-all we had a pleasant experience at Jersey Mike's. Also liked that they had prepaid postage survey cards (with pens!) on every table. That says to me, "we want your feed-back." So... three stars for the sandwich which was A-OK. An additional star for customer service, and an additional star because, frankly, it is one of the best sub shop I've been to in their market.

Along with being a pizza snob I'm also a deli sandwich snob. When I heard of Jersey Mike's I had to look it up and found out that it is a franchise nationwide but they have a different concept then Jimmy John's or other places they actually slice the meet in front of you and build the sandwich the old-fashioned way. This was a very appealing to me and I needed to go check this out so one afternoon on my way back from clackamas I swung by there and got their Italian version sandwich. Let the mayhem begin it was amazing they are artists. As I stood watching the lady that did the assembling of the sandwich she had the flare of a bartender with the oil and vinegar bottles and made it entertaining to watch. The staff is friendly the store was clean their very busy on average start to finish about five minutes per sandwich but well worth the wait. Their smaller sandwich I guess it was an 8 inch sandwich was definitely enough for two people but I managed to shove it all in. A little on the pricey side for a sub soda and chips but still a good value considering all the alternatives. I will definitely recommend and take people there for lunch if I happen to be in the area. We need one in Vancouver by the way to compete with Jimmy John's and Subway which subway is not my favorite Jimmy John's is okay it's a whole different type of sandwich from you guys so please bring one to the couve.

I am a huge sucker for a good simple sub, and I have been on a quest to find a good spot in Portland since Macs deli on glisan closed. Well I am finally satisfied, this is my new favorite by far. Good soft bread, hand sliced meat and everything piled HIGH. I hope they continue to open more of these all over Portland. EDIT: It is now my second favorite after taste tickler by a narrow margin

Staff and food is just amazing here. They are always very friendly. I work in the mall area and am known as a regular. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a truly "Fresh Sub". The meat is cut on the spot, not pre-cut, which makes it taste so much better! The bread is fresh daily. Real Bacon if you like bacon.. You just cant go wrong going here. Go early if you want wheat, they always sell out about before 3pm. This is my #1 food place in Cascade station.

Today was my first time in this sandwich shop. The employees were very friendly and gave suggestions when my sister asked for recommendations. The meat and cheese were sliced right in front of us. Our sandwiches were all good: cheesesteak, buffalo wrap, and kid's turkey & cheese. We beat the lunch rush, but it arrived as we were eating. The line got a little long, but the owner came out and started asking each customer if they were planning to order a hot sub so they could get them cooking while people were still in line. I thought that was great customer service, especially for those on a limited lunch break. We will definitely go back to try the other sandwiches on the menu because they all looked great.

I used to love eating jersey mikes on the east coast but they don't really have them out on the west. I was super excited when I saw one up here. Just as good as I remember it being:) the philly cheese steak is the way to go!

I was a frequent customer of this location. Unfortunately the long lines at lunch time forced me to start ordering online. At first the online ordering system saved me plenty of time however after the first or second order they started incorrectly making my sandwiches. Was I being punished for circumventing the line? Eventually I sent an email inquiry to straighten the matter out (and a few other things) and never received a reply. A few months later I decided to give them another shot. I sent off a second inquiry and again am left to believe they don't care as I never received a response. Whether their in-store incompetence or their lack of concern for unsatisfied customers I do not recommend this restaurant (chain or specific location).

It's real easy to dismiss this franchised chain surrounded by big box stores, but the subs are THE BOMB. They slice the meat and cheese to order, pile the sandos high with shredded lettuce, and do a classic oil, vinegar, and italian seasoning topper. I recommend adding mayo if you're serious about sandwiches. The turkey and provolone was the best sub I've had since moving here from Philly.

They're been open for two days, and I've already been there twice! So happy to have found a place for great sammies close to home and work. This is not a gourmet deli/sub shop by any means, but Jersey Mike's blows subway outta the water. Their bread is so good and their meats and cheeses are actually sliced fresh in front of you, instead of the little processed triangles of cheese you get at Subway. Reasonably priced, too--a "regular" is pretty big and most were under $5.00. Fewer options for veggies than Subway, but i really didn't miss anything. Plus, this chain is so philanthropic--charitable giving to local community programs and services is kinda their "thing". Really friendly staff, too. Bonus for vegetarians--their cheese and veggies aren't sliced with the same meat-tainted equipment, and before i could even ask, the guy making my veggie sub asked me if i wanted him to change his gloves. That never happens! I'll probably never go to Subway again...

Way overpriced for the quality of food. The service was horrible. Two people working, one of which was a trainee, took ten minutes to even realize customers were waiting to place their order. Ordered two sandwiches. The cheese steak was undercooked and cold! The buffalo chicken wrap was so soggy you couldn't pick it up. The bread is very chewy and tastes old. Really all the ingredients tasted cheap. This place is not worth it!

I love this place. I get the number 5 made Mike's way, add a little mayo and my boyfriend gets the number 43 no green peppers add extra onion. His is the best Philly cheesesteak like sandwich I have ever had. The melty cheese and chipotle sauce take it to a whole new level of deliciousness. The number 5 is a fantastic classic sub with an Italian type flair. They are always so fresh (though the bread can sometimes be a bit hard on the ends, probably due to the constant line of people ordering sandwiches and the bread door being opened and closed) and made very well. The only problem I have had with this particular JM's is that they have messed up every single phone order I have ever made, and It is never done when they say it will be. This is definitely a place you need to go in to watch them make your sandwich. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for that. If you like sandwiches this is a wonderful place to try!

Theymake a cheesesteak that's meh. And it corporation crazy. I asked the cook to add extra onions and to place the roll over everything so that it melts the cheese and warms the roll and was told that they are not allowed to deviate from their training. Really?? Really?

For a sub shop that has slowly expanded across the US, they have still kept to their Jersey roots. And their subs, no matter where I've eaten them, are consistently great. I've been to a few here in town, in Texas and the #1 store in Point Pleasant, NJ and the subs are always done right, fresh ingredients, hot pepper relish and my request of vinegar on the top bun. The roast beef (done in-house) is still my favorite. I will admit that I have never been entirely crazy for the hot subs, but I've never had a bad cold one. I've pretty much had the entire cold menu plus specials and at least a wrap or two. As always, the staff was friendly and the manager on duty was on his way out to the #1 store in New Jersey for some training in a few weeks. He did my sandwich justice. It was gone very fast. Jersey Mike's is a chain that got it right and hasn't sacrificed on quality and provides the customer with a great product. Enjoy.

I really want this to be a 5-star review. I don't often go midddle-of-the-road; if you look at my other reviews, you'll see I almost grade on a pass-fail basis. I come here because of the fresh-cut meat and the vegetables that don't smell like whatever preservatives that a certain national sub sandwich franchise seems to coat all of theirs with (seriously, do they paint the walls with it, too? How do they all smell the same inside!?). I've almost always gone in around 6:30 or 7 pm on weekdays, and I order three large sandwiches on wheat bread... And there's the problem. There is almost never enough wheat bread for my whole order, and what is left has consistently been stale. C'mon, guys, the bread makes or breaks the sandwich, and this just isn't cool when you're spending $50 after tips on three sandwiches. Help me out, here. I have no complaints about service. The staff has always been friendly and approachable. The prices are higher than the other place for sure, but in theory, you're getting more, and of better quality. It's almost there, but you've GOT to fix the bread situation!

You haters are missing the boat here. I have eaten subs in New Jersey and this is the real deal. You don't realize what a gem we finally have here in Portland. I have been to Jersey Mikes in Beaverton once, Tualatin twice, and Cascade Station about four times. Never have I seen dirty tables. People, this is a buss your own table place, and if you saw a messy table, it is because some schmuck (the same one who cuts you off in traffic) couldn't bring themselves to put their paper wrapper and drink cup in the garbage right by the door they are walking out of, and the staff hasn't noticed it yet. They do come out and clean the tables and sweep the floor regularly when the line dies down. I have also never had to wait. I would like to see them add potato and mac salad instead of just chips for sides, but kudos for not serving Reesers! Now for the sandwiches. If you go into a Jersey sub shop, order a Jersey sub not a "Portlandia sub". If you want an organic, gluten free, vegan, free range tofurky sandwich with spinach and sprouts, go to the health food store. Here, ask for an original #13, Mikes way with mayo. Soft freshly baked Italian hoagie loaf, Provolone, ham, prosciuttni, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. Mike's way is shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, sweet onions, wine vinegar ,olive oil, and oregano. Healthy no, traditional and delicious yes. So good, you'll want to start talking "Guido" ( You wanna tawk to me, you come ovva heeah). I can't stop ordering the original, but I've heard that the meatball, and the Philly are also good choices. I will try to break away and order them soon. I am juiced to see that a Jersey Mike's will be opening soon on Sunnyside in the old Home Town Hero spot. What does that tell you? Good riddance. And don't even get me started on Sub Way! They should just lock their doors in shame now that a REAL sub shop has hit town. Jimmy John's? Not impressed. Good bread, but skimpy on the meat & cheese, heavy on the lettuce.

We've been to this location better than a half of a dozen times now and each time the sandwiches were fresh and delicious! We live in Vancouver and the trip across the bridge is well worth it. The employees have been Constantly friendly.

There are a couple of things that are absolutely unacceptable at a sandwich place. The first is processed, chewed-and-glued meat. The other is pasteurized processed cheese 'product'. Jersey Mike's uses both, and it's disgusting. I ordered a ham and cheese child sandwich for my toddler and when I saw the guy pick up a rectangle of pressed ham, I stopped him. This is the lowest quality ham that has ever existed. Strings of something were dangling from this pink log. I asked to see that turkey, and it was the same crap, but in a circle. I opted for the salami because at least that's how salami is supposed to be. And the cheese. Totally unforgivable. I had a cheese steak and after the first bite my mouth was glued shut. This plastic cheese stuck to my fingers and then the napkin did too. Fucking gross. Let's address a couple other problems with the place: When we walked in every table was dirty. There were two other customers, maybe, and plenty of staff around. Price: The 'giant' is huge, yes, but it's also $12.99. It's not as if you're getting a deal by paying a substantial price for a big sandwich. Especially when that sandwich sucks. Add chips and a drink and you're well over $15. The slicer: They keep this thing running and slice each meat and cheese to order. Considering that tables are too hard for them to clean, I have to wonder how often that thing is getting cleaned. And mixing meats and cheeses? How do vegetarians feel about that? There is no way, ever, in a million years, that I would eat here again.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my sandwich here. The service was a little slow but that's in part due to the fact that they cut your meat fresh for each sam. I personally have a deep love for Italian style subs, you know the kind that taste like an antipasta salad on bread. They have a few here that fit that bill, I personally like the #5 which has provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo (the later two are like the cheaper cousins of the real stuff but they were fine). Anyway I'd for sure go here before most other sandwich chains, way tastier.

I feel obligated to review this place just so nobody makes the same mistake my wife and I did and give this place two chances. I have been to Jersey Mikes before when I lived in North Carolina and remember it being delicious. This is not the case here. The slicer that is used to cut the meats and cheeses is disgusting. It's clearly not cleaned after every use, so there is a strange meaty/cheesy blend left on it that I'm sure would not be appreciated by the health department. I spent five years in the Infantry and even I think that's gross. The tables have been filthy both times I've been there, so much so that it makes me want to take my "here" order "to-go". Between the filthy slicer, the dirty establishment and the unprofessional "bros" who work there, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... Especially for the price.
