Been awhile......had the Orange Chicken. Highly Reccmnd. No heavy thick breading, but balanced well. Will try Teriyaki next time. Siracha is free.....nice bonus.

Vinny, is an awesome guy. His wife works in the kitchen. Theyve been here forever, Vin took it over a few years ago, revamped the menu. BREAKFAST, try the denver omelette. very filling and tasty, small diner feel. LUNCH, im not too into salads, but it was alright. Try the Bulgogi, Chicken Fried Rice, all are very Tasty.

I've come here twice and been happy both times. Turkey avocado bacon was good. Burger good. Fair prices. The guy on the cashier is nice. Stop by for easy quick lunch.

Veggies are pretty fresh in salad bar! I like one of the salad that has tomato, cilantro and avocado, etc. I don't know what is the name, but I love it! Burger and fries are okay, too.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...*stretch*...*yawn*..num num num. I know I came here for something but for the life of me I don't think I found it. So here's the deal....decent salad bar...I will likely be back for the salad bar. The veg on the salad bar is cut really large though and I couldn't find a knife to save my life.....seriously, I could've choked, I could've died...this was an issue. The veg seems fresh though and a good selection of it. The price per weight isn't too awful either. The burger...for all that is holy do NOT come here for a burger. It was more like two pieces of Steak'ems stuck together and then drowned in 1000 Island dressing. I am not even certain you could really classify it as a burger minus that it arrived on a (very squished) hamburger bun. I will say though, the guy behind the counter was super nice and very helpful. It is a shame the food is a bit lack luster and boring. Maybe I'll try the turkey place across the road next time.

I end up here a lot when I'm running early for work and I just can't face an hour in the break room with Mr Incessant Babble and the Snooty Office Chicks. It's an office building deli with burgers. The burgers are okay, thin griddle fried patty but the veggies are fresh and the bun actually very good. The combo with a pop and crinkle cut fries (or tots) is $6.20. Not bad at all. They have sandwiches and stuff, too. I stick with the burger.

Really nice owners, love stopping in here to grab lunch whenever I get the chance. Also, free wifi! They serve breakfast, it's nice to be able to grab a bagel or a breakfast sandwich here in the mornings. Their orange chicken is as good as other reviewers have said it is, and I'd also recommend their turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and cream cheese -- the combination works surprisingly well. Haven't had their burgers yet, but planning to grab an order of tots the next time I'm there. They close early though, so make sure you've timed your visit for lunch, not dinner!

I work in the Columbia Square and visit Hope's Deli a few times a week :) I fell in love with the owners and their food! First of all, customer service is the best, they welcome you with a warm smile and wish you a good day every time :) The food is great, the owners are there from open to close, so they monitor and prep re the food :) It's a really nice place to grab breakfast or lunch :) Their prices are also very competitive, the best in town!

Not sure what you're in the mood for? Having trouble getting the office group to agree on a place for lunch? Try Hope's -- they have pretty much everything anyone could ever want for a quick lunch. Most of the food is pretty standard, but the real standout is the orange chicken. In the words of the friendly owner, "Japanese-style, not Chinese. You won't be disappointed." You can get a sandwich or bento at a lot of places in this area of downtown, but the almost over the top (yet very genuine) friendly service and wide menu variety that you get at Hope's is a rarity.

Well aren't we clever? Tim B and I were wandering out for lunch in the neighborhood we've both worked in for half a decade and thought, huh, why don't we ever go to that deli on Jefferson? So here's why: it's completely uninteresting to the point of being nearly invisible. The folks behind the counter are nice enough and the selection of possible foods is broad - bento, burgers, sandwiches, even breakfast if you're there before 10:30. But. Um... blah. We both opted for chicken teriyaki, which consisted of a dozen thinnish slices of grilled chicken breast on rice (brown or white) with a sad-looking heap of salad next to it. Our tabs were under $7 each, with a soft drink, which is good I guess since it comes with a big scoop of ennui. I thought of going back to check out the burger, but the ones the guys at the next table ordered didn't look any more hopeful than the teriyaki. It's a new age of Hope in America, but I don't think it's starting here.

Terrible sandwich. Two slices of bread were something one could get from a supermarket aisle, small, pre-sliced and square. Hardly any meat between them, which was heated to the texture of shoe leather, and unchewable. I didn't finish it. No dressing, which one expects on what I ordered. For $8, at a place calling itself a deli, one expects better quality food. Perhaps a side of fries would justify the cost. I won't be back.
