For some reason, I thought this place was open late. It would have been nice to have this place as an option for beers after our night on the town (we ended up driving around). During the day this is a decent place to get your basic provisions, and it is conveniently located to a few hotels.

Oh sweet Georgia! I needed a proper beer to accompany my Thai street food. Mirror Pond Pale Ale for a buck seventy nine. Boo ya.

It is fairly obvious that Georgia's Grocery Store excels at what it has set out to do. The store has inexpensive snacks, beverages and pantry products. Their medium size location under the Georgia Hotel in the Pearl District is particularly swell. It can bring a smile to any face. My excursion to the Pearl once landed me here. A tin of Pringles and a can of RC Cola was $2.24. They don't let you charge a purchase that's less than $2 to your credit card. I thought that the value was outstanding. Bottles of soda are at below par level in terms of price. They have lots of little things such as boxed Brasilia spaghetti. This is all just so convenient.

Very heavy cigarette smell inside the store, some items (candies) we purchased were over two month past expiration date: beware and make sure you check exp date on everything you buy from them. Not really grocery but more like small convenience store..

I really like Georgia's. It's convenient, and the store hasn't changed a bit for as long as I've been going. Perfect if you like familiarity, kind of like your great-aunt's house. The lady (Georgia I presume) that works there has a super husky smokers voice, and she's a little older. They sell Mountain Bars (Yes!!!!), and all of the basics you would expect. The prices aren't as high as some other mini-marts around town. It closes at 9 PM unfortunately. The only real downside that comes to mind.

Bo-de-ga. You know what I mean. I thought this place was one of those for years and years. Then I finally went inside now that I work nearby. It's fairly big with a decent selection, including lots of overpriced sundries. The counter people are friendly, too.
