Good country bar if that's what you're looking for. The music is loud and there are 2 bars to get your booze from. They also serve food here that I believe you can get most any time. It's you're regular selection of bar food. Some nights there is a mechanical bull that you can take a turn on for around $5. On the weekends it is very full. I went on a Thursday night and there were plenty of people but by no means was it packed. Overall it's a good place to get your country music and a drink on.

Okay so I'm not a huge country fan but I do love dancing and cheap drinks. I'm a fan of dukes because the drinks are cheap, the atmosphere is fun and they also play country... (Which is to say if you like country they probably don't play enough, if your not a fan, they play other dancing music too:) I like that the music is plenty loud, but you can still hear yourself and have a conversation. I have only been twice now but one thing I learned is if your going when it's gonna be busy bring cash. I started a tab but it got super busy and so I would add drinks to my tab but you have your own waitress and it's impossible to find her when it gets busy (after 10pm). You can start a tab but it seems like they get a little annoyed if you orders drink with a different server, even though it's impossible to find your server when you want your next drink. All that said the drinks are dirt cheap. I can't imagine how anyone could not have fun at dukes. They even have a fire pit outside when it's cold. It's in the middle of nowhere but it's more fun than the clubs downtown. I think there is no cover early in the evening but the cover would be worth it. Spending $10-20 on a cover charge for a club downtown+parking$$+transient begging vs. small cover+free parking+cheap drinks+less meat market touchy/gropefest (ex. aura/barracuda.) If you have not tried dukes, you should and bring your friends (and cash:)

This restaurant supports pain, stress and suffering on animals by hosting goldfish races. Please do not support this restaurant.

I will preface this by saying that I'm not HUGE on country music... But its more about the people, and I cannot relate to this crowd ha. Good people for the most part but it reminded me of a high school clique, Coors light and cut off t-shirts flow freely in this place. If that is your thing then this is your place. ayyeeee

Worth it for the bull and the line dancing --closest thing to a honky-tonk in town. The mechanical wrangler sure knows how to treat a greenhorn: nice & easy then a little trickier and then you fall. This is vastly preferable to the sort that views theirs as a sacred responsibility to safeguard any potential PBR audition's authenticity. That plus the line dancing lessons makes this a sufficiently-enthralling theme date. BUT... the food is mediocre... and the drinks are weak & mostly ice... and the seating for large groups is kinda inexcusably disorganized. Could easily be a lot better.

Fun place but cover charge for this quality of club is not warranted.

Suck an amazing place. Great atmosphere. Happy hour specials nightly. They also have great food! Try the cornbread! Line dance lessons nightly!

Beautiful Women, Mechanical Bull, Smoking Patio, Nice size Dance Floor, Pool Tables, Courtious and Gorgeous Staff! Takes a little while to get a drink on the busier nights so if you are going to drink order 2 rounds. I absolutely love this place. I have hit up a lot of Country Bars down the entire West Coast and this one takes the cake! The absolute best bar I have EVER Been to! Go check it out for yourself!

I just got the SW Ranch burger (delivered by Delivered Dish.com ) and OMG This is the second best burger I've evet had. The burger was amazing, great beef taste, the onion straws and other toppings are a simply winning combo. Order this burger. It won't disappoint!

Just as happy the 2nd time around. Though, new 1st night ever server stunk, her back up was superb.

Went there when my husband and I were in Portland. The music was good. The staff was friendly and the drinks were reasonable. Nice interior.
