Ok I mean it's got it's originality from the rest of the Denny's I've been to, Great customer service.

We've been to this Denny's a couple times while we stayed on Hayden Island. The food is ok, but with a hankering for spaghetti one night we stopped in to order up some pasta and meatballs. The waitress took our order then came back to tell us they were out of spaghetti! Seriously: how do you run out of basic food like that? OK, we settled for something else for dinner which was marginal. It's kind of a depressing place and I don't think we'll be stopping back there any time soon, thanks.

This Denny's we used to frequent when we were younger but once you mature and actually see the place for what it is..... well, we don't go to THIS Denny's any longer.

Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I have had. I made my friends go because I wanted a strawberry topped waffle, which it turned out they didn't have (I thought all Dennys had that?). When we got there, it was extremely crowded due to old Vancouverians coming to breakfast. We waited about 35-45 minutes only to have some trailer trash types who had just entered pretend that they were our party in order to take our booth. We objected to the hostess and she sighed and continued to sit them, and asked us to just wait for another one while the trash grinned and pretended it was all a crazy mixup (but still took our booth). We waited a long time for our waiter to come. He came over finally and leaned on the table, sweating profusely, and took our order. We then waited, and waited, and waited. It came, but then it turned out it was actually a different table's order. When our actual order came, it came with waiter finger mixed in with the sausages on one of the plates! My friend had to ask for new silverware because his was dirty and the waiter then promptly forgot about it. I got eggs and sausage, one of the eggs had a hard yoke that did not run or separate when I cut it with the knife (I did not eat it). The other egg had one of the sausages on top of it because they had obviously thrown it all on there sloppily. When I found a hair, I put down my fork and gave up. All the dishes arrived cold.

Worst guest service ever. I've been treated better at fast food joints than I was here. Skip entirely if possibly

I don't think one can find a better deal than their $2 $4 $6 $8 deals! You can get lunch or breakfast 24/7! Also, this Denny's is still pretty new. Everything inside is up to date!

You get what you pay for, but go at a decent hour or your wait will definitely ruin your experience. The Grand slam is always a good choice!

Ok just hear me out on this one. Denny's is straight trash first off. Then to go along with that we waiting 35 minutes just to order. Then the waitress has the audacity to serve me jam when I clearly ordered Chicken fried steak. Like the fuck? Then she asked if I was homeless and started clowning on me. This woman had jokes clearly and didn't want these fades one time. But luckily I had my boys to hold me back (flames emoji)! Alright I'm done writing about this trash ass place. Deuces.

If I could give this place a negative star rating I would! We went 4/6/15 at 11:15am for my moms birthday brunch...it something her and my dad used to do every year. This is the first time she has been out to eat since my dad passed away two years ago. We were seatee pretty quick. Our order was taken in 10 minutes however we sat, and sat, and sat. I sat there and watch 2 other tables get there food. We were seated way before them. By that time I'm really hungry and look at the line. I see a tray that looked like our tables order. That tray sat there for 15 more minutes. Guess who's it was? Food was lukewarm and scramble eggs looks like rubber. Needless to say I was pissed! The waitress asked if we wanted it remade...hell no I've seen "waiting" lol took off and I made my mom biscuits and gravy! Happy birthday mom! I know it wasn't what you wanted but we tried! Love you!

The service was bad. Smells of pee when you enter the restaurant. The food was okay but have been to other Denny's restaurants that were much better. The servers talk a lot and are loud when they gossip. I would drive a bit farther to go to a good restaurant like the one in clakamas.

Service has been crummy the last several months. On my last two visits, I was asked if I wanted tabasco or Cholula for my meal. Both times, I requested Tabasco, but it never came. On today's visit, the appetizer we ordered went MIA*, It took at least 15 minutes for our order to be taken, after ordering drinks and the appetizer, and I had to request the check at the register because even after getting a to-go box (from the manager) we were left to stare at our dirty dishes for 15 to 20 minutes. It's Denny's, so my expectations aren't very high, but for $15/person I expect to at least receive everything I order and not have my time wasted. I did appreciate the fact that my 'crispy' hashed browns were actually not raw, as tends to be the case at far too many restaurants. *The appetizer never came to the table, but at least it wasn't on the bill.

The food was awesome I got the chicken and sausage quesadilla and a large bowl of chili, both were very tasty my quesdilla was packed full of goodies, and my chili was nice and thick. My husband got the all you can eat pancakes and those were super fluffy!!!! Our server was awesome my husband cracked a joke because I ordered chili and the server had to turn around to contain his laughter lol, after we ate we went into the video lottery and plugged a couple bucks I lost mine but my husband played hot shots on $5 and won $300 so that was awesome!! We found our waiter and my husband gave him a $20 tip:-) it's Christmas..... so why not?:-)

Tried to eat here on friday September 26th at 3:30am but was turned away saying their grills were off for 30mins because the fire marshal was suppose to show up... really at 3am??? I've worked in the restaurant business for 10yrs and never has the fire Marshall ever come so early in the morning or request that their grills be turned off before they got there... I wasn't impressed at all ended up going to Shari's at delta park instead of the island... why bother going somewhere where they don't want to serve their customer's? I won't be back and it's a shame because I pass by the island everyday on my way to and from work.

Food was fine, service was ... being sat in the back of a not busy establishment, is a bit too 1950s segregation for my taste. Was brought past tons of tables with light skinned customers to be placed behind a partition near the kitchen. Would of been mad but couldn't get over laughing at the fact a "Denny's" felt the need to do it..

Same as it ever was. There will be no suprises here. There are probably a lot of people under 30 that have never been to a Dennys. Not to worry, ordinary is the watch word here. In my opinion, if you are not having breakfast you might want to move along. Its not that it is bad. It is the food of geezers. While I have never had a bad meal or experience, I must say that it would be a fine place to take your Stepford Wife. I have probably been in 40 Dennys and if you dont like suprises, you are in the right place. Cookie cutter corporate, anyone?

Ate here July 19th. This place was packed. When did Dennys (anywhere) install booths for 3 butts on opposite ends? Oh, I know. I haven't been to any Dennys since 2005 or before. Thank God for a Free Birthday Breakfast & $2 Meals, offered. Ugh!

Worst service thus far. I was hopeful with them moving into the new building, but the service has gone steeply down hill. Our waiter was slow, there was a hair in my milk shake, and the soup that came out was cold. I am definitely boycotting this facility.

We ate here during Easter weekend. Staying at a local hotel in the area. They referred us to Denny's as a good place to eat. We arrived here at 7 pm on a Friday, Easter weekend. It was packed and we waited about 10 minutes for a table. We were kept informed of wait times frequently. After being seated by a friendly waiter, water was given immediately . Don't drink the city water! The menu has the old Denny's originals as well as a lot of new menu items. Can't remember all we ordered but I do know it was great, hot, plentiful and delicious. The coffee was hot, fresh and flavorful. The waiter was coming around often all though he was plenty busy. We did notice there were armed security all around the restaurant and parking lot. Upon returning to the hotel I asked the night manager about it. I was told this was a very high rated crime area. Nice hotels, stores and restaurants all around. If that doesn't bother you, it's a very nice place to stay and eat. There are many " nice restaurants" in the area. This fits right in. In a new building, new everything. Very clean. Armed security! What else could you ask for!!!

I've been to this Denny's a couple of times now since they built the new place. The place is awful. It was busy at 9am on a Saturday when I got there so I sat at the bar rather than take up a whole booth for just me. The waiter was prompt and I can't fault him. He was hopping. But the food took forever to come up and when I got it the hash browns were just barely even warm. Again, I don't think it was my particular waiter's fault. I don't think he left my food in the window. I think it was the kitchen. Since I was sitting at the bar I saw him pick it up promptly and then have to ask the kitchen for the biscuit that should have come out with the rest of the food. Maybe they have a lot of new staff with the new building. If so, they need to get them up to speed or they won't have old customers like me

While Denny's is just your typical diner, this particular Denny's was entertaining. We are from out of town and staying in a hotel nearby and on Christmas Day, this place was bumpin'! We sat at the counter to bypass the wait for a booth, so we were almost immediately seen and served. It was very busy - around 10:45-11:45A, Christmas Day, so I wasn't expecting pronto service. One of the bussers offered us coffee while we were waiting, so that was pretty cool (he was one of the entertaining workers there yelling 'corner' and almost always getting someone blocking this way.... and he just dealt with it). Our server at least acknowledged our presence when she had a moment to, so that was nice even under the circumstance. Behind the counter, we watched the cooks and all the servers just hanging in there while they served a full diner. Two of the girls kind of got into it, but as cool and calmly as they did. Really sitting at that perspective, you'll see that these people do work pretty hard. In any case, we enjoyed our Christmas brunch and "Breakfast at Lenny's.... no Denny's."

I go there regularly but wouldn't say its one of my favorites. I keep coming back because of the cheap price(on pre-set menu items), consistent results on their products and most the time friendly wait staff. They could however be more in tuned with how clean the dishes are getting and prices of add-ons or sides.

Rolled in here with 6 people after 8pm. Place was about half full, the servers were very polite, helpful and fast. Food was as expected, typical Denny's. my experience was good/positive, not like the other posts...

Dennys is the same ol' same ol' but a new updated look. The food is something I have to use the restroom for all day, but one of those evils you cant live without. Right now they have bacon everything including shakes and cheese.

Typical cheap food. Nothing too special about the food. However, you can order tons of different type of food for like $10. I would give this place 5 stars, but the old guys waiter later at night ruined that. If you get him ask to be sat somewhere else. He is horrible & would rather chat up with the regulars rather than get you a soda, refill water, bring out your food, see if you need anything else & bring your check to you. But because of his horrible service I got a gift card sent to me after I called the number at the cashier. I've been here lots of times drunk or just looking for cheap food. Service is some of the BEST I have ever had!! Everyone except that guy (I wish I would have remembered his name). I love eating here because I can order $4 worth of food & leave the rest for the tip & I only spent $10!! Super cheap!! You might be sharing the place with some crazy looking people who probably are on drugs, or some really drunk people from the bar. The waitresses here are seriously some of the best & beyond friendly & helpful!

I used to go to this Denny's every single night for a hot chocolate as I was a night crawler. Back then, Ella was the best server I have ever experienced. She was on top of my refills and was very nice. I come back a year later and the graveyard shift has completely changed. Needless to say, my refills didn't happen without asking. The server never checked up on us. The food was about the same though. I will have to adjust my schedule so that I can be served by the previous graveyard staff. (they work swing shift now)

Worst experience ever me and my husband walked out. We have been here more then a dozen times and we know there slow no matter if there's two people or twenty. But the food is always worth it. We were sitting waiter just took our order when we see the cook who was sitting at the dinner texting on his phone and scratching his head go into the kitchen and start making our food right away. My husband and I both have a food handlers card and knew for a fact that he did not wash his hands he walked straight back there and grabbed our onion rings! My husband was so mad and disgusted he told the waiter that we were leaving and explained why and instead of the waiter actually listening he said what I don't understand is that he could have washed his hands in the back and you probably didn't see it! Really you weren't even watching. We went to pay for a milkshake and he still expected a tip yeah right! We left and went to eat sharis.

Terrible Service, it took my friend an I 2 hours to get our food, and 30 minutes for us to eat it. The waitress forgot part of my order and the cashier charged us incorrectly, and the food made me sick. I remember really liking Dennys about 5 years ago back in high school, but now I'm never coming back. Maybe it was just this one? I'd rather go the the Waffle House for some solid Breakfast food.
