There is no other place like this in Portland. Best date night spot 2015 (this guy). Let the owners and staff lead you to bliss with food and drink to suit your mood. Great prices and unbeatable service will leave you breathless and possibly in need of a good nap. From the owners to the staff you might want to throw them over your shoulder and take um home. Love the new menu. If I had to describe this place with one word it would be Sexy. Two words Dam Sexy.

I didn't get to try this exact location, but I had the chance to try a crepe from this place at the Portland Farmers' Market in Pioneer Square. It was right next to closing time, and they had one last crepe with my name on it. I tried the Pork Confit crepe, and OMG it was SO good. The meat just melted in my mouth, it was so good and flavorful. I've had a lot of crepes, and this might be the best savory crepe that has ever graced my mouth. I can't wait to go back! Hell, I can't wait until their brick and mortar is back open so I can try all the other things they offer. If you can make a Farmers' Market crepe THAT good, your regular stuff HAS to be amazing!

PDX has a new date night spot! From the savory crepes filled with fresh greens, cheese, and mushrooms; to an extensive wine list to pair with your choice of crepe I give this five stars. The atmosphere is great for a date night or a quiet dinner for one.

I tried the breakfast galette at the Beaverton farmers market. It was yummy, but nothing special to report. I'd like to try more at the actual restaurant.

I am so addicted to their savory crepes filed with egg, mix greens, sauteed mushrooms and cheese. Perfect breakfast or brunch, even for late afternoon snack!

I really wanted some crepes after dinner, and we found this place on yelp. It was a cute little cafe that pairs really good wine with the crepes that we ordered. I wanted both savory and sweet crepe. And that is why I ordered a ham and gruyere cheese savory crepe and the chocolate ganache crepe. The savory crepe was very filling, with applewood ham and gruyere cheese stuffed in a buttercream crepe! It came with a side of salad, which came with a few pieces of arugula topped with some vinaigrette dressing. The sweet crepe came with a chocolate ganache cream and a dollop of sweet whip cream, paired with a red wine that complements the entire dish! I love the environment of the cafe, the owner of the place was very nice and attentive to us. The entire experience was very charming and reminds me of a small cafe in paris.

So. Freaking. Good. Buckwheat crepes are GF! The kind server warned us they are cooked on the same surface as the non-GF. *warning Celiacs* I had some sort of pulled pork masterpiece and my bf the brunch crepe. We were both totally satisfied but decided to split a dessert crepe because we just had to have more! Caramel and pears sooooo good. I want six more of them right now. We also got a couple glasses of rose bubbles, nice and dry to compliment the sweet pears and caramel. Good sized/variety wine list for a little creperie. The staff was friendly and helpful and we can't wait to go back! I was very impressed.

I am visiting Portland and got a buckwheat crepe with turkey and melted cheese with apple relish from C'est Si Bon at the Kings Farmer's Market. OMG it was the one of the best things I've eaten in my life! Perfect mix of sweet and savory, and the mixed greens were bright and fresh. I must go back for another before I go home! This is the only breakfast and lunch you'll need in Portland!

New French kid on the culinary block in PDX, and boy, are they cheeky. After making the great leap from Portland Farmers Market to a brick-and-mortar location on the surprisingly chic stretch of lower East Burnside, the couple that own this place can be found making delicate crepes in a casual atmosphere. Somehow, the combination of simple French crepes and a quietly elegant space made for an impressive dining experience. Maybe it was the simple ingredients? The spot-on wine pairings with every bite we had? The SERIOUSLY adorable and charming husband and wife that own this place? ......yeah, it was probably a combination of all of the above. Yummy. Tip: if you plan on enjoying wine (of any variety) with your crepes, let John dictate the wine pairings for you. Don't try to order off the menu yourself. He'll know best! Tip again: the ham and cheese crepe belongs in a buckwheat variety, not the regular. Omg soooo good. And another tip: probably not a good idea to over-eat here before a Blazer game, unless you have someone who will massage your belly for you at halftime. C'est magnifique!

The space is small and romantic. The food and drinks are really good. The staff is very helpful and kind. I think the crapes are the best I've ever tasted and I really like the garnishes they put on each one.

Reading this to determine if you should go in? The answer is always YES! You can't go wrong here. Great atmosphere. Terrific smells. Delicious food from the salads to the savory crepes to the sweet crepes. Local fresh ingredients. Caring and respectful service. It's a wine bar as well and although I know nothing about wine I always leave a little more educated without ever feeling foolish. I would make a specific suggestion but seriously it's all good and don't be afraid to ask. Possibly our favorite restaurant in all of Portland. You read that right.

Great place!! Beer and crepe are super awesome. Since it's small restaurant, probably not good for large group.

This little place just popped onto the Portland crêpe scene, and it is a very nice addition! I suppose they've been around in the farmer's market circle for awhile, but this is their first brick and mortar. Really nice people in a great French setup! The place is pretty small, with about 4 tables, a counter by the window, and some bar seats, but it felt cozy and not cramped. For the quality that you get, everything is so well priced. Even their wine by the glass is very affordable. The owner helped me pair my turkey crêpe with the Cahores red, and not only did it go perfectly well with my crêpe, but it came out to be only $5.50. A great pairing like that is always a win in my book. Sometimes when I ask for help with wine pairings, I get a good pairing that also happens to be one of the more expensive glasses. I really appreciate that thoughtfulness and consideration from the owner! I got the turkey crêpe, with sliced turkey, a cranberry and apple relish, and cheddar cheese. It brought me back to the joys of a good Thanksgiving meal. The sweet complemented the savory, and the crêpe itself was evenly cooked and airy. My friend got the pork confit crêpe with slow roasted pork, apple butter, caramelized onions and sage. The pork was very tender and it balanced well with the buckwheat crêpe. We ended our lovely meal with the hazelnut chocolate and banana crêpe. You could tell the "nutella" was homemade because it was still a bit gritty - I loved it. Not an overly sweet dessert so you don't feel bad indulging a little. I'll surely return to this little treat of a restaurant. Though honestly, anything called "_____ + wines" will draw me in again and again!

The owners of this creperie know how to do it right. Personable and knowledgeable in combination with a great wine selection is the magic formula. More oft then not the owners, a husband and wife team, are there working and making small talk with their customers. It's a perfectly small space that has amazing crepe combinations that are sweet or savory. If you love crepes, go here. If you love good wine, come here and they will make amazing recommendations.

My boyfriend and I came here for wine and sweet crepes and ended up ordering so much more off of the menu. It was too good to resist. The staff was amazing and so helpful with wine pairings. Can't wait to come back with more friends.

You just can't get crepes any better than this. Both the savory and sweet crepes are spectacular. Small plates are a creative and interesting mix of ingredients and are so flavorful. Preparation and presentation are perfect. Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service. Don't pass this place by!

Gorgeous food, beautiful decor, friendly staff, good location, not unreasonably priced, I am baffled it was not full on a Saturday evening. I had the hazelnut chocolate one and it was an amazing balance of sweet, salty, soft, and crunchy. My boyfriend had the caramel one and he said the caramel was really good, it had little burnt chunks of sugar like creme brulle, and at the end said he regrets knowing it is rude to lick your plate.

Tasty. Very Friendly. Good wine. This place is a really nice addition to the area. It's small an cosy, with a nice ambiance. It is a good place to go for a date... just saying! Will come back soon !

Tres magnefique! The intimate setting is cozy and romantic, the food is perfectly devine. I cannot recall a more charming host/owner and talented chef. Do not miss a chance to taste real France in a special offering as this!

This was a wonderfully delightful, delicious and romantic little hole-in-the-wall gem of a restaurant. Dine by candle light. The owner was clearly passionate about the high quality local ingredients and making delicious and authentic French cuisine, and providing a beautiful atmosphere. He also pairs the dishes with wonderful wines. We ordered the Pacific Northwest mussels steamed in white wine with leaks and topped with some crême fresh. Cooked perfectly! Tender and sweet! We shared a savory crepe and two sweet crepes, and finished with some port. It was absolutely delicious. I would eat here all the time if I lived nearby!!

My boyfriend and I stopped in here while we were visiting from LA, and the crêpes were incredible! The staff was very polite, and the restaurant has an incredible "urban romantic" ambiance. The coffee was very good, although we didn't enjoy any wine so I can't attest to it. Highly recommend this place- we'll be back!

There is nothing like experience and the owners of C'est Bon not only have a passion for the best wine, bubbly, and Crepes that French cuisine can offer...they lived it...living in France and soaking up the experiences that make this spot so unique for Portland. First ..the refresh of the space on 7th was brilliant... Using a combination of sleek Walnut throughout and based on the size and spacing of tables...gives the visitor more space without the space actually being larger. I'd suggest the best offerings of Wine I've seen in Portland ...and in a setting that takes you to Rue Cambon let alone Kerns in PDX. and a small but well planned beer selection... An amazing selection of charcuterie....the pate' and duck were the best. The sweet and savory crepes were wonderful...but even better we asked to customized the crepe and it was done gladly ...and the outcome was awesome. Lastly ...the staff which in this case was the co-owner provided tremendous knowledge, great customer service and by the end of experience felt like old friends.... So ..don't just go out....go to Paris...by way of Burnside..a great experience.

I loved it.. I love crepes and tried them at the Beaverton Farmer's market (open in winter!). The friendly owners, the small business + we really care about food feeling of it makes it a winner for me. I had the best wine of my life here--Buvette I believe it was called. I naively said I wanted a red, and the wine savvy owner brought me 2 tastes to see what I preferred. It sounds like he reads a lot of wine magazines and stays up to date with that stuff. What amazing service! They really take the time with you if you are in the mood to talk, but I quickly just settled in to conversation with my partner. It was very cozy in this small place, with only 1 table and bar seating for those with a party larger than 2. Best crepe of the night? My fancy ham (from Tails and Trotters, a local no-hormone source) and cheese with bechamel sauce and perfect arugula salad. $6.50 for the dinner crepe? Fabulous, left me able to order dessert and wine and not break the bank. Mangez, savourez, et revenez. Bon appetit!

Visiting Portland, we stumbled across this gem searching for dinner our first night. Yum, yum, yum, yum yum! This place is all around great. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is delicious, the ingredients fresh. A great variety of wines to complement the food. And a beautifully decorated location. We enjoyed our experience the first night that we came back a second time with our friends who live in the area. They enjoyed it as much as we did. If we are ever back in Portland we will be back again for sure.

After reading about C'est Si Bon's opening a couple weeks ago on EaterPDX, I'd been anticipating the chance to try it. My mom and I went in for a little mother-daughter dinner date tonight and it did not disappoint! One of the owners chatted with us about the recent snow, his family, and his and his wife's adventures in France. He was very friendly and welcoming and made great recommendations for drinks (we both had a French cider that was amazing) and crepes. We each had an entree crepe (the ham & cheese and the pork confit) and a dessert crepe (an awesome caramel-sea-salt-and-apple crepe he recommended, as well as the homemade lemon curd crepe). Everything was amazing, and we were both impressed with the amount and quality of meat they put into the savory crepes. I also loved the atmosphere - it's small without feeling cramped and the candlelight and French music playing in the background were a nice touch without feeling cheesy. He encouraged us to take our time, and we sat for awhile after we paid the bill, never feeling rushed. As we sat more people trickled in, clearly regulars and friends - always a great indicator of the quality and friendliness of a place. I am not a wine drinker, but my dad is a wine snob and I know where I will be bringing him next time he's in town. Listening to the owner talk about each of the wines he poured up at the bar - you can tell he really knows his stuff and is good at matching wines to people's tastes. I will be back soon, and I will bring and tell friends! Loved it!

Fantastic crepes, great atmosphere. Some workmates and I stopped in for lunch today. The place is tucked in behind the Burnside Brewery, and is quiet, clean, and smells lovely. I had the smoked salmon on a buckwheat crepe, and we shared the charcuterie plate to start. The crepe was the perfect balance of crispy, savory, and succulent, with a nice hint of dill and generous dollops of marscapone cheese, and it came with a lovely little salad with nice greens and the perfect amount of vinaigrette. The charcuterie plate was beautiful, had some nice little tidbits on it (liver, smoked duck, and... salami of some kind if I'm remembering correctly), and it came with some nice chewy slices of baguette, some coarse mustard, quince jelly (maybe?), cornichons, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting. I'll be making this a regular lunch stop.

We went here for desert and it was divine, I got the pear crepe and my boyfriend got the banana and we both thought ours was best! We also sampled the wine, our waiter was very knowledgeable about his collection and led us to some excellent choices. When we got the check we were pleasantly surprised that 2 large crepes and 3 glasses of wine was actually fairly affordable! The atmosphere is darling and it was perfect for a date night!

One of our favorite date night spots, my wife an I love the crepes and the atmosphere. The owner is great and extremely knowledgeable about wine and cuisine. If you are like us I suggest submitting yourself to his wine choices you will not be misled. The food is great and is always getting better, the Charcuterie WOW the smoked duck on the baguette plus everything else from T&T is so good. All I can suggest is ask questions and get outside of your comfort zone you will not be disappointed. Plus Gluten free and low Gluten options available just ask.

My wife and I tried C'est si Bon on our anniversary in July. If you have traveled to France and like Crepes and a warm and friendly experience, there's a good chance you will be VERY happy dining here. We were so charmed by the owners, Gabrielle and John that we put ourselves in there hands as far as recommendations. They know their wine and their food. They have a continuum of wine selections, reasonably priced. I recommend the Charcuterie Plat for a sampling of appetizers, any salad, pork confit crepe, smoked salmon crepe, ham and cheese. We went back on my birthday a couple of weeks later with friends who loved it too. If they were near by, we would be back a lot more frequently. Service was wonderful. Dessert crepes were excellent too.

Went here last night for some dessert crêpes and we had the place to ourselves. The man working behind the counter was very amiable. My favorite kinds of crêpes are Nutella-based, and C'est si bon has two: "our" Nutella (dark chocolate melted with crushed Oregon hazelnuts and sea salt) and "their" Nutella (the kind in a jar). I tried the in-house Nutella crêpe, with bananas, and it was great! The crêpe itself was really thin and cooked just right, and the dark chocolate with the bits of hazelnut filled my mouth with this delightful chocolate taste. The slices of bananas and the crêpe made it just sweet enough to be dessert. The only way it could have been better is with just a little less sea salt -- I love the pairing of salt and chocolate, but the amount of salt was just on the line between highlighting the sweetness and flavors of the chocolate, and just being salty.

I have eaten at C'est Si Bon twice and enjoyed both dinners very much. It is nice to be offered a glass of wine that I can taste before deciding if it's the one I want. The savory crepes offer a variety of fillings, vegetarian and meat. They are elegantly plated and taste even better than they look. The dessert crepes are also very good. Last night I had the Meyer lemon curd, which was divine. I appreciate that they use what's in season and local. The atmosphere is tranquil and friendly. It's not a large restaurant, so it might feel crowded when busy, but I found it very pleasant.

This is quite the hidden gem! Went here on a date night and had such a great time. Food was amazing and well priced. The owner John, is so friendly and very passionate about the wine. He has excellent recommendations of wine pairings with the food and introduced us to several new wines we loved. Love this place and would highly recommend stopping by.

Great atmosphere, great food, and great people. Really enjoyed this place and John was very friendly. I am traveling for work and wanted to find a nice quiet place that I could get some good dessert and not be locked up in my hotel--John was super friendly, and made my night better--oh and they make some fine crepes too

What a great find! My husband and I were walking back from the Farm Cafe and stumbled upon this little gem. John and Gabrielle were both there, and they are kind as can be. Very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. I had the Buckwheat crepe with the housemate chocolate hazelnut spread and bananas with whip cream. Amazing!!! My husband had a traditional crepe with raspberry jam, bananas and whip cream. It was also delicious. We didn't try any wine this time, but will next time. I had the curiosity cola. It was pretty good, I want to know where I can buy it! We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back soon!

Charming little crepe restaurant and wine bar. The service is always very friendly and most often by the owner who is from the Bordeaux area. Just as importantly the food is simple but excellent. I have worked my way though the crepe menu both savory and dessert and they are all good. Do yourself a favour and order the buckwheat crepes. There is also a selection of very good small plates to enjoy with a glass of wine. Being a wine bar also their wine choices are extensive, however they also have a couple of micros on tap and serve an excellent cup of locally roasted coffee. Great little place.

Awesome French ambience. Crepes were delicious, sweet or savory take your pick. They will also allow you to customize any crepe if you wanted something off menu. I first had these at the Saturday Market, and now they opened this great little restaurant. The wine selection is excellent, and the owner and staff are extremely knowledgable about what wine might be best for your palette. They also have a unique, fancy cola that has natural ingredients and is really good. This is a great place to relax have, have a nice glass of wine (or beer), and in a friendly, chill environment.

Very good authentic French crepes / food. Homemade and local. Super friendly owners. Good wines and recommendations. Beautiful place also. All in all a must try!! I took a lot of people and they all liked it!

Walked into this place after not being able to get a table at burnside brew.. And WOW am I happy I did so! Owner is amazing; so easy to talk to, knowledgable and an excellent chef, plus they offer some amazing wines. The wines, apps and crepes were SO good and also affordable - how often does that happen? GO HERE - if you want a chill atmosphere where you feel like you can talk to anyone at the bar - you won't regret it.

Awesome new addition to PDX! Amazing service and quality ingredients truly make C'est Si Bon a "new find" in the Portland metro area. The experience our group had was not only inviting, but personal and creative. Very few times have I had a restaurant owner spend as much time with his/her patrons as I've had tonight. The suggestions we were given catered to our individual pallets, and each person was more than satisfied with the dish selections. The distinct flavors and unique combinations make each item memorable, and leave you wanting to try more. We were thrilled to have chosen this place and will definitely be back!

I've had lunch at C'est Si Bon on three different occasions recently and have not been disappointed yet! Declicious crepes, knowledgeable owner and wait staff and all around a good experience. The only thing I would like is a bit more sauce inside the crepes. I'm now going to be a "regular". Laurel R.
