Made it to Newport kinda late for dinner. Called Cobblestone and ordered a large pizza and Itilian salad. Person taking the order was very nice and helpful. Delivery was prompt and courteous. The salad was huge with ham, peparoni, extra salad dressing and vegies. They brought paper plates, napkins and plastic utensils. The pizza was big and well covered with toppings ! I highly recommend you try Cobblestone!!! Let's see The other guys beat that !

Small family-oriented pizza joint with cheap and generous lunch specials and very nice people at the counter. The pizza (personal size w/ mushrooms) was pretty good but also pretty greasy. It made my skin all shiny for the rest of the day...I tried to pass that off as my ebullient personality but I'm not sure if anyone bought it.

Decent cheap pizza if you have low expectations. We got a 14 inch Buffalo with blue cheese dressing. The crust was delicious, definitely the best part. The sauce was decent, hard to go wrong with Buffalo and blue cheese. The chicken was unflavoured and breaded poorly, the pieces looked like they were cheap fingers from the grocery store, blech. Maybe... Just maybe a different type (Margarita?) would be better.

If you like fresh hand tossed pizza with flavor, over loaded with fresh toppings, then this is the place! We ordered a large #13 Pesto (Italian sausage, pancetta, sun dried tomato, ricotta cheese and peso) we added artichoke hearts and a large #1 Cobblestone Combo ( pepperoni, salami, Italian sausage, bell pepper, onion, mushroom and black olives) delivered for $50. Awesome place!!!

We ordered the Cobblestone Combo, cheese pizza (for our kids) and an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots came out first and we're very delicious. At $3.75 for a dozen, they were a steal. Buttery, garlicky, chewy, and piping hot. The pizza was pretty good, generous toppings, fresh and delicious. Service was fine, prices were not bad ($31.00 for a young family of 4), facility was clean, and perfect for littles.

I'm not from the area and was lucky to find this place. I had the alfredo chicken garlic pizza and it was fantastic. Wish they had other drinks on the menu. Pepsi is horrible. Service was decent. Overall I would probably go back when I am in town again.

We were visiting the Newport area and ordered in during one of our nights. The reviews of this restaurant and the hotel front desk drew us into ordering delivery. The pizza was good, the service was average. We ordered 1/2 All Meat and 1/2 Combo. If in the area, we would order in from this pizzeria again.

While on vacation we had a pizza delivered to our room, it was hot and fresh, and we were surprised by the quality. The sauce was delicious, we had pancetta on it and it was wonderful. Just the right amount of cheese and meat. Im not a thick crust fan, but it was very tasty! The whole family enjoyed it!

Got calzones. If I had to do it again, would have gotten pizza. I also would have had it delivered to our room, or ordered ahead, as it took 45 minutes to arrive. The garlic rolls were great.

The pizza here is very delicious and reasonably priced. We had the Cobblestone Combo- salami, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, sausage, mushrooms, and olives. Typically, I shy away from thicker crusts in favor of the thinner New York-style, but this crust was tasty. The toppings are generously piled high, and an additional layer of cheese sprinkled on top of said mountain, creates a helpful net to prevent an otherwise avalanche of goodness. This allows for more civilized consumption. We also had the garlic knots/rolls and at $3.75 for a dozen, you'd be a fool to resist the temptation of an order (or two). They came out piping hot, buttery, and emanating a gloriously pungent garlic fragrance. As far as cleanliness goes, we happened to be there when this facility was being inspected by the state. I passed the inspector on my way out and asked how they fared. He said the owner, who's been at this for over a decade, is consistently in compliance with all health codes, which is nice. Overall, a positive experience!

Really good takeout pizza. It was a Monday night and apparently local joints are all closed on Monday, so we were desperate to find any restaurant and even more delighted to be able to get something to go. Ordered a medium italian w/mushrooms (like a cowboy) for something around $20. A little pricey, but easy, good, and quick so no complaints. The cinnamon things are really tasty and shouldn't be missed.

Called in my order on a Thursday evening, my order was ready in 20min. The staff was friendly and fast. The food was good, I had a pepperoni pizza and a side of the garlic balls. The food was a little greasy, but tasty. I'll go back again.

The food is great. The do not skimp on toppings. The calzones are big enough for 2 people. The pizza was delicious. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food! Plus the staff is very friendly.

Zero stars! I drove from Eugene OR and picked up a pizza from this joke of a pizza place got all the way to Lincoln City to find there were onion on the entire pizza when half was supposed to have onion I am allergic to onion so I called to have the jerk manager argue with me and refuse to do anything about HIS MISTAKE. I will NEVER waste my time or money again.

Called to place order and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes, then got hung up on called back told the girl what had happened and she said "Oh well what do you want" so I brushed it off and placed an order. Had there had been more of a selection In the area to have pizza delivered to your hotel room....then I would have hung up on her. Delivery girl was nice. Pizza was decent Garlic rolls good. Would have given 3 stars but customer service was terrible

Very confused why this has a five-star rating. We thought we were getting top of the notch yummy pizza but instead got just plain old pizza.. nothing special about it. I mean it was still pizza so it wasn't inedible but would not recommend. Go somewhere else.

The garlic rolls are SUPER tasty and their pizza is quite good. I've been to the Toledo location several times and only once to their newer, Newport location. Not sure how someone rated it 1-star, that's just nutty. It's really good food. There's no need for a dipping sauce - dipping sauce is for flavorless pizza that sucks (Papa Johns, etc.) and the garlic rolls are slathered in Parmesan and oil and they're piping hot.

People often say that pizza is pizza. Pfft. Wrong! I ordered a small Garlic Chicken pizza. Creamy white sauce, tender pieces of white chicken, feta cheese and crispy bacon. Seriously, best pizza I've had in long, long time. & I wasn't even drunk! Haha. Good job, guys!

Ordered delivery tonight and was very impressed. They gave me a 40-45 minute time frame and delivered it even faster. Ordered a half pepperoni/half pineapple with breakfast bacon. Excellent! They are not shy with the toppings and it arrived piping hot. Very nice delivery guy! I highly recommend this "new to Newport" pizzeria! They replaced Pizza Cucina and boy-o-boy what an upgrade we got! Oh I almost forgot to mention the very fair prices. I was shocked to get a large pizza for under $20 delivered!

Cobblestone has 2 locations, Newport and Toledo. Choose from their list of specialty pizzas or build your own. The Toledo location produces yummy pies. We get the Classic Combo or Double Pepperoni, sometimes both. After moving to Newport we we're delighted to learn our favorite pizza place was still close by. Same yummy crust and Garlic Knots, but despite same ownership, I found I like the Toledo location better for no other reasons than their toppings are more evenly distributed and they put on more cheese. Toledo: 4 stars, Newport: 3 stars.

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered a pizza and some garlic knots from this pizza place. The pizza arrived on time, but without any kind of dipping sauce for the knots and no parmesan/oregano/garlic for the pizza. When I asked the guy, he just kind of ran off claiming they didn't have any. The pizza itself is nothing spectacular. I guess there aren't too many options but boy was I underwhelmed.

The pizza was EXCELLENT!!! Some of the best pizza I have ever eaten, but the service there was terrible. The young lady that answers phones, and takes orders messed up our order. She did not seem to know what she was doing, and was not very friendly. I would rate the service a 1 star, but for the food 5+ stars. The bread bites were excellent too, but then again the lady didn't give us ranch with them like we had asked for and stated that they came with. Next time we visit Newport we will definitely be eating here again, just hope that someone else is working up front in order to get better service.

While on vacation in Newport, we decided to stay in for dinner and have pizza delivered. Cobblestone did not disappoint. We ordered the double pepperoni pizza which has two kinds of pepperoni. The pizza arrived in a timely manner, at a reasonable price and was nice and hot. The smoked pepperoni gave the pizza a nice zing. The crust was just the right amount of chewy on the ends. We will be ordering again next time we are in Newport.
