Casual and cool. Frat beers and cocktails. Pool if you want. Dead animals on the wall if you want. Love it

Being a Wednesday, I wasn't expecting the atmosphere to be very lively and it wasn't but it was relaxed. I dig the big leather booths, we scored a big one for just the two of us. I guess this is more of a beer place but the cocktail menu lacked anything unique or inspiring.... I was waiting to see some alcohol infusions or unique simple syrups or something and there was nothing. I'll be back on the weekend another time when I visit home to see what it's like.

Kinda racist place saw them last telling a Mexican they don't want their services I took off and took my business elsewhere lots of fakers and people that wanna pretend they are rich. Last time I'm going here I don't tolerate racism...

Casual and comfortable place to get a drink and eat some popcorn. Great mix of locals, students and visitors!

Trendy and cute. I know it's labeled as a sports bar and there are TVs there so you can watch the game, but nothing about this place really screams sports bar. It's more of a classy place. You wouldn't want to wear your old jeans to this place. The crowd at the Old Oak is pretty young. Linfield students hang out here and the rest of the crowd varies from late twenty-somethings to thirty-somethings. It's definitely the place to hang out downtown. The drinks are good and you can order pizza from Third Street Pizza to enjoy with your crew. If you want a fun place to hang out for drinks, this is definitely the place to hit.

Hmmmmm.... cool concept; cold space. We had a drink here and felt completely out of place. My first suggestion would be to get some more comfy furniture and make the place a little more welcoming. It just felt scary when I was there. I will try it again at a later date.

Unpretentious, nice bar with friendly regulars and helpful bartenders (as well as a lot of space!) Check the fridge for tasty specials in bottle. I had several unusual brews that I'd never had the chance to try the first time I was in, and the selection had changed by the time I was around again. Unfortunately, the food is pretty basic - you can order good pizza in from around the corner, but that's about as far as it goes!

This is a fun place to go on a week night for a drink with friends. I am not in to sports bars at all but this one is charming with it's vintage take. I like their beer selection. Lots of good local beers on tap and a great variety in bottles and cans. Bartenders are friendly. No food to speak of but they let you order pizza from Third st pizza and they deliver to your table!

It was just ok.... I expected more I guess because it's owned by Community plate and Thistle owners. I read back in May that this would be above Community Plate and food would be served from them to this bar, but maybe plans changed?? It's around the corner from Community Plate. They only have a few bar snacks, so don't come here hungry expecting a full meal. Also a few mixed drinks, but mostly beers. The space is very open, the top was roped off so we couldn't check it out. There is a pool table and games showing on TV's. The bartender looked like he was straight outta Yale or Harvard with his Polo shirt, khaki pants and curly blonde hair! Well he fit right in with this place! The place is decked out in old wood chairs, leather booths and plain tables. My first impression is they ran out of moola to decorate the joint, but that's just me. If your looking for cheap drinks and a place to watch the game... then they can deliver that.

Good beer, great drinks, open late (for Mac) and great, informative staff. Damn decent drinking establishment. I will come here again for high class alcohol, free pool, great beers, and a classy atmosphere. If you drink like I do, then the Oak & Ivy is for you! Cheers!

Great atmosphere with an outstanding selection of beer to choose from. Extremely personable staff with great knowledge of their products. Can't wait to see if/when they get the ability to open the loft area. They are definitely improving the space as time goes on.

BEST bar in Mcminnville. It's the only bar in Mac that could be taken out and placed in the city. If you're looking for a good drink and good atmosphere, this is the place to go. If you're looking to grab a beer, they have a wide variety and huge selection. Don't come looking for a meal though, they don't have a kitchen. But they encourage you to bring your own food or make a phone call down the street and have your food delivered there.
