After a response like that, I think it's only fair to give an extra star as it is/was well deserved in the first place. I have actually visited once since posting this last review. On that visit the restaurant was quiet and no one from the lottery place came in. The food was excellent and came out fast. Thumbs up!

For Lebanon this is quite good sushi. I previously tried their cooked sushi and I wasn't very impressed but their basic uncooked sushi is very high quality entirely because of their fish quality. The fish is very fresh and tastes untreated and unfrozen, really amazing quality fish for a small town. I wish there were more sushi combinations for dinner as well as lunch, and maybe smaller sashimi plates since their rather expensive, however the quality of the fish really over-rules any of those minor annoyances. I seriously recommend this place more for lunch than for dinner because service is much faster and I personally felt the quality was much better during lunch than dinner. There are also a large variety of cooked japanese food that's not sushi here and it's good as well but at a sushi place I focus on the sushi for obvious reasons.

I am a sushi fan! My favorite at this moment is the Salem roll! I also get the Nigiri Salmon. ( I hope I said it right this time.. They always have to correct me). Anyways the Salmon is best when they cut it thicker, but sometimes they cut it way to thin and it's disappointing. Anyways besides my pickiness it's a very good place.

I lived on the Oregon coast for 5 years and would go to this restaurant in my town quite often. My favorite was the sushi! the delicious sushi was what I ALWAYS GOT! I recently moved to the area and was excited to know I didn't have to say goodbye to my favorite place to be. Unfortunately I won't be returning. Ambience was the same, people were nice, but food... Utterly disappointing. Sushi was okay, although the squid... Rock hard and so tuff I couldn't even rip a chink off to even a bite size. Prices are WAY more and that shouldn't be at all...Also the portions are way smaller :/ I guess I better drive back to the coast of I want good food :) can't complain to much about that. ;)

If your in the mood for sushi in Lebanon, Momiji is going to be your only option. Don't fret though because it is a really good spot. This place ranks really high in every aspect except wait times. I've been here a half dozen times any they've only ever had one really overworked server. Its impressive how good she is at keeping everything rolling but there's only so much one person can do. The wait has never been terrible but it is definitely worth mentioning. Otherwise the food has always been great and the service is always friendly.

If you are looking for a cheap laxative then this is your place. The service was mediocre at best. The sushi was portioned very poorly. My friend ordered and they brought out the wrong dish, so when he went to tell the waitress, Marie, that it was the wrong thing she argued with him and insisted that he was wrong. The teriyaki chicken bento bowl was nothing but fat and tendons. But what do you expect when the guy making my sushi is whiter than I am. The only thing worth ordering at this shit hole is a glass of water.

Great sushi for a small town. In town from So Cal and was not expecting to love the sushi as much as we did. The spinal Tap and Dragon roll were my personal favorites. The tempura veggies could have been crisper but other than that. Sushi was comparable to what I get in Los Angeles and the sushi chef was a white guy. Will definitely come back when visiting again.

They were nice, but this was fast food style, low quality sushi. Maybe I came in with unfair expectations because I have had my fair share of good sushi and was expecting that, but this was definitely more chain restaurant style sushi. Also, the waitress touched my food ( like actually nudged one of the rolls out of place with her hand ) so then used her hand to nudge it back into place. I think she was embarrassed which is better than of she hadn't reacted at all, however I think she should have offered to do something ( new roll? ) The fact that this is a sushi restaurant in Lebanon is in itself an accomplishment . But either my expectations are unreasonable or they should improve . Maybe a little bit of both?

We have never ordered anything we didn't like. Sometimes can be busy but that is a good thing in Lebanon. Take out is hit or miss.

Sorry Momiji - you're slipping! Came in for lunch today - you had a group in the back - not huge, but a group and another table in the front that was finishing up. We were seated and not asked about beverages. Waited about 15 minutes and server took our order. We ordered water with lemon, small side salads, tempura appetizer and 2 rolls. Now usually, the salads arrive quickly along with the beverages. We sat for 30 minutes. When I asked our server if we could have our salads, I was told they were busy with the group in the back. About 10 minutes later the salads, appetizer and rolls arrived - all at once. So while we ate our salads our hot spirited grew cold and the sushi sat. Upon complaining about this to the server, and explaining that we had never experienced such shoddy service at Momiji, our server began to whine about how they were busy and had a new chef.... I saw a lot of standing around by the cook staff and sushi chef and the "big group" turned out to be 6 people. If you can't cook for 3 tables - you better do some review of your staff!!!!

It's got fish. I ain't never eaten Sushi before. I'm frum Lebanon and am an uncultured, backwood dolt. This place has gots fish. I think they forgot to cook it. It certainly twaint deep fried. Anyways, it weres good. We had a Japanese exchange student livin' wit us, and we tooks him here. He said it was okay. He also said the minty thing they give you at the end is Chinese, not Japanese. So dats worth a negative star, right? This place be givin' James Gang Pizza Factory a run for its money as best place in Leb'nin. I'd gives it five stars but ain't had sushi before, so I don'ts know how it compares to other Asian fish-rolly places. So whatever, this place be good n you should eats here. Sorry for the short review but I gotsa go and wersh my camouflage suit fer da wedding tamorra'. Her de Der.

I have been here twice and loved it. My first stop was for a bento box dinner and a beer. Their miso soup may be the best miso I've ever had. Unlike many places, they give you a spoon. It may not be as authentic an experience, but it's much easier than trying to drink it straight from the bowl. My bento was the teriyaki chicken and tempura. Sometimes chicken can be fatty and hard to eat with chopsticks, but this chicken was delicious. Next stop was for lunch. I had more miso soup and tried the sushi this time. We tried 3 different rolls and enjoyed them all very much. One of our dining companions tried the gyoza and also liked it The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

We have Momiji in Coos Bay and were so happy to find it here in Lebanon while we are in the area for the Tough Mudder event! Good food and good service. Also have some good specials. They are motivated to please!

God awful. I've actually given this place more than 3 tries, when I was in town, just to make sure. Sad to say the food has been terrible every time and I've left thinking "Ok, I'm seriously not coming back here ever again." It's that bad and unsatisfying, especially for how expensive it is. If you need actual details here it is: The sushi rolls are gross, they're mostly cooked and slathered in all kinds of goopy mayonnaise-like sauces, most likely to cover the taste of how poor quality the fish and other ingredients actually are. I requested a roll that wasn't cooked, since I love raw salmon, and after I'd scraped off the excess slop that they'd piled on top I tried a piece and it was so disgusting that I stopped eating, finished my drink, paid and left. Sorry but if you have to cook all your fish and pour heaps of condiments on top just to pass it off as edible to your customers, then maybe you shouldn't sell sushi and open a Taco Bell instead.

Honestly, I am not one who writes reviews. But this really needs to be said! My usual place in Lebanon was closed, I really wanted a bento bowl and California roll. So I decided to try the place I keep hearing about. I stopped in and made an order while my BF and kids waited in the car. I watched several people receive great service. It was not crowded when I ordered, but the place filled up. Waitresses running everywhere. Everyone getting their orders. I watched one of the cooks place to go orders and announce them by yelling them out. But the waitresses paid no attention to them. There they sat under the warmers. Another customer came in, once we started to talk I found out they placed their order via phone more than 30 minutes ago. We small talked for over 15 minutes. I had already been there for easily 45 minutes. 25 of them looking at the orders to go under the warmers. Someone who had been rolling sushi came and asked if we'd been helped. They went back, brought out the food we had already paid for and let us know it was just sitting there. The other customer stated she will hissy have to call 45 minutes prior to coming in to pick-up. I get the food home and it was disgusting. The California roll was amazing, but smaller than any place I'm used to. And the chicken for my bento bowl was inedible. There was so much fat in both my orders that even my 2 year old spit out bite after bite. Both bento bowls sat with 3/4 food untouched. That, the wait and the cost will have me sticking to Lebanon Teriyaki from now on.

Really really like this place. Great sushi for little Lebanon. I hope it stays busy enough to stay open. I will do my part by returning when I can!

Went here with family for dinner and had previously eaten at their North Bend location. Both experiences were great. Bruce and his staff were very hospitable and did a great job. Strongly recommend the spider roll and double shrimp roll. Will certainly be back!

For this being my first time having sushi, I loved it. The dishes are light and beautiful. Each dish was fresh, fast and the service was great. The dessert is great so save room!
