My girlfriend and her grandparents brought me in here for my first time. I was in the mood for a classic, small town, All American Breakfast, and that's exactly what I got. I'm a fan of old diners and cafes that have kept some of their old appeal, and I was not disappointed when I stepped through the door. My girlfriend's family has been going here for years, so they knew everyone by name. The wooden countertops and leather seating in the booths gave me a cozy feel. I ordered the special (forgot the name) with the biscuits and gravy. The only other biscuits and gravy that I've had were with the Army (shit on a shingle) and Denny's . . . I don't know which one is worse. BUT FINALLY, I GOT TO EXPERIENCED DELICIOUS BISCUITS AND GRAVY! The biscuits came out in a long loaf, and the gravy . . . so tasty. The waitress even came back to ask if I wanted more gravy on the side. My bacon was good too (I know it's hard to foul up bacon, but it's possible). The service was also outstanding. Unfortunately I cannot attest to the rest of the menu, but when I come back to town, I'm ordering the same thing and maybe an extra side of biscuits and gravy too. This place is a winner!

Still love to occasionally go there for breakfast. It has that at home feeling that is always welcoming and comforting. Deff will continue to support this small town restaurant.

The worst Lebanon has to offer. Their claim is fresh food. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The biggest disappointment though wasn't the nasty food, or absent waitress, it was the orange juice. My favorite drink in the whole world and I couldn't even choke it down. I told them I didn't want it and to take it back and they still charged me for it. Total BS. To me it seemed like this is a place for regulars only. My wife and I are locals, but not regulars and it was evident in the way we were treated. I guess they figured we were just passing through or something. The only good thing I have to say is the bacon omelet I had was stuffed with bacon. I mean stuffed, very pleasing to a bacon lover, but not good enough to overlook everything else. I will never go back, and you should just save yourself the time and find a different place.

Awful food. Nothing is fresh, even though it says so on their menu. I think this is mostly a place for the old folks to go get drunk midday and eat terrible food. Never going back.

Not for me. I can make the same breakfast at home and not have to deal with a surly waitress. The first thing that hits you when you walk through the door is an odd aroma of stale perfume, stale food and just sad neglect. Since we were new to town, we decided to stay and try the food. The waitress was not busy as there were only two other tables occupied, but we were given the definite feeling we were not welcome. Food arrived and hubby asked for jelly for the toast - waitress asked what kind and hubby asked for marmalade - she literally snorted and informed us the don't have it. So he asked for blackberry - same response. Finally she threw 2 of the little packets of grape on the table stating that's what we have. Now, this place serves breakfast - and they don't have jelly? Didn't get coffee or water refills. Didn't leave much of a tip either. We WONT BE BACK!

Don't eat here nothing is fresh! This place belongs on kitchen nightmares. I literally just finished puking, no joke. It's a final resting place for old folks. Super spendy and there was an ominous feeling that me and my friend would be murdered..

Great home town cooking. Breakfast served all day. The service is the best. The wife and I eat here at least 3 times a week. You should too.Prices are average. YOU MUST TRY THE SOUPS!! Large portions and most items made from scratch and you can tell. So good and like home cooking.

Love this place! It's a traditional home-town style restaurant. Reasonable prices, pretty darned good food for what it is, and the staff is phenomenally friendly and helpful/responsive. Another big plus is that they don't nickel and dime you for little things like some sour cream for your potato. This place has become a regular destination.

We've been here several times over the past two years. For awhile there it was hit-or-miss, but lately they've been hitting it. They seem to have found good consistent wait and cook staff and we've left there happier the past few times. Or maybe we've just figured out what to order? While breakfast has always been good (and served all day long), and burgers are always a great bet, there are a few items on the menu that they just don't know quite what they're doing with. For example, I love a good chicken-fried steak, but it deserves a great pepper/cream gravy on it and the mediocre sausage gravy they use for their breakfast biscuits and gravy is not appropriate. The mashed potatoes are instant and taste like it, another reason they won't get over three stars from me. The best part of Appletree, in my opinion, is the fact that I can go there and get the traditional christmas turkey and stuffing dinner I crave several times a year, any time of the year. That and the fact that they're open til 9p. (What is up with so many places closing mid-afternoon in Oregon anyway?) Also, their coffee is decent and that goes a long way with me. Bad coffee is a pretty sure bet I won't return no matter how good the food...

We were staying next door in the motel and thought we would try the Appletree. Definite mistake. I wanted to try the turkey because so many had spoken highly of it. The turkey itself was good. But the rest of the meal was just ok. My wife wanted chicken strips, they were out of those so they gave her popcorn chicken. We honestly could not tell if they were chicken or clams. They had the strangest consistency. Waitress was bubbly and very friendly. She was very attentive. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.

The men's room john doesn't have a door. Do I need to say more than that? It's Lebanon and for Lebanon the food is passable. If it were Corvallis this place wouldn't be open. I feel sorry for anyone who needs to use the john here. They deserve your pity. Let us pray. ... ... ... Amen.

Came here once. Never again. I think they went to Mega Foods next door and bought some TV dinners, a bottle of the cheapest wine and a bag of salad to put our plates. They get two stars because the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive... just not enough to make up for their food.
