Skinners Rockhouse Coffee

909 Hwy 95 W
Jordan Valley, 97910
The cutest little rock house ever! It's a real historic house converted to a trendy coffee shop/ice cream parlor. It's a must stop along the long hwy 95. We were traveling from boise Idaho to Winnemucca Nevada and made this our halfway stop to stretch our legs! The restrooms are amazing, The coffee was really good and she had all the condiments you could desire! Lots of choices too. Good menu for ice cream as well. Stop here for a real treat! Oh and since you are in sales tax either! Bonus!
This place was unbelievable! I LOVE lemon ice cream and cannot find it very many places. They have lemon meringue pie ice cream. It was delicious!! The woman working there was super pleasant. Their bathrooms were very clean too. :-)
This is a "must stop" place for us when we drive from california to idaho. This place our rest area after a long drive. my husband and I always order two coffees and an ice cream to share. Very cute little place.

Good food from simple menu (delicious pork sandwich great French fries). Comfortable surroundings. Attentive and pleasant service. The place to eat intoŕ the area. What a find!
As of September 10th 2015 they are closed. Sounds like permanently now. It was good food while it lasted
New name, new owners! Flat Iron Steak House and B&B!! Newly remodeled! Grand opening the following week but they opened for us. Pretty neat and comfy B&B, the breakfast was included; breakfast was certainly grander than continental, a truly delicious and filling full-size breakfast.

Jv Cafe

701 Main St
Jordan Valley, 97910
I've been going to JV Cafe since I was a little girl. It was always a stopping place during road trips with my Grandparents back in the 70s. The last time I visited, I was a grown-up and it brought back so many good memories. Plus, there's the bacon cheeseburger. BEST EVER. Can't wait for my road trip that's coming up next week...JV Cafe is on my itinerary still.
Typical small-town burger joint in the middle of NOWHERE. And I mean, NOWHERE! We were passing thru on our way from Boise to Winnemucca, and anyone who's ever driven that desolate route knows there's not much in the way of food. We wanted to try the Basque place here in town but it was closed at lunchtime. So we came here. I had a cheeseburger and tater tots, with a Coke. Classic American meal, ya can't fuck it up. Waitress was friendly enough, food was fine, restroom was clean, ambiance was sort of 1950s rancher cafeteria chic. Nothing wrong with it, but if passing thru I would probably not stop here again -- the menu is too limited. Just burgers and patty melts and the like, unless you're in for breakfast.
Had a good time here! Great bar in the evening good food in the morning! Friendly staff
